경시적 자료의 계층적 베이즈 분석

  • 본 논문의 목적은 계층적 베이즈 일반화 선형모형을 이용하여 경시적 자료를 분석하는 것이다. 구체적으로 계층적 베이즈 변량효과 모형을 소개하고 무정보적 사전분포 하에서 사후분포가 진(proper)인지에 대한 충분조건을 찾는다 또한, 깁스(Gibbs) 표본자를 사용하여 제안된 계층적 베이즈 절차의 수행에 관해 논의한다. 현실자료를 사용하여 제안된 계층적 베이즈 분석을 예시하고, 이에 대응하는 경험적 베이즈 분석과 비교한다.

A Bayesian Method to Semiparametric Hierarchical Selection Models (준모수적 계층적 선택모형에 대한 베이지안 방법)

  • Meta-analysis refers to quantitative methods for combining results from independent studies in order to draw overall conclusions. Hierarchical models including selection models are introduced and shown to be useful in such Bayesian meta-analysis. Semiparametric hierarchical models are proposed using the Dirichlet process prior. These rich class of models combine the information of independent studies, allowing investigation of variability both between and within studies, and weight function. Here we investigate sensitivity of results to unobserved studies by considering a hierachical selection model with including unknown weight function and use Markov chain Monte Carlo methods to develop inference for the parameters of interest. Using Bayesian method, this model is used on a meta-analysis of twelve studies comparing the effectiveness of two different types of flouride, in preventing cavities. Clinical informative prior is assumed. Summaries and plots of model parameters are analyzed to address questions of interest.

  • 다사용자계층 통행배정(Multiple User Class Assignment) 문제란 교통망을 이용하는 통행자들이 이질적인 통행계층으로 구성된 경우, 이들 각 계층의 통행수요를 교통망에 배정하는 문제를 의미한다. 이는 기존 통행 배정모형들이 모든 통행자의 통행특성이 동질적이라고 가정함으로서 발생하는 불합리한 통행배정 결과를 완화시키기 위한 방법이다. 또한, 최근 지능형교통체계(Intelligent Transportation Systems, ITS)사업에서 교통정보제공시스템이 구현될 예정임에 따라, 교통정보를 제공받는 계층과 그렇지 못한 계층간의 영향을 분석하거나 혼잡통행료부과 등과 같은 교통관리전략을 정확히 평가하기 위해서 다사용자계층 통행배정모형에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 그러나, 다사용자계층 통행배정모형의 경우, 사용자간의 상호영향으로 통행비용함수의 1차 편미분행렬(Jacobian matrix)이 비대칭(Asymmetric)이 되어 동등 수리최소화문제(Equivalency mathematical Minimization program)로 구성할 수 없고 또한 수치적으로 풀기가 어렵다는 문제가 있다. 본 연구는 이런 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 모형식과 알고리듬을 제시코자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시된 모형은 2가지 특징이 있다. 먼저, 각 사용자 계층간의 상호영향을 모형내에 반영하며, 기종점쌍간의 통행시간변화에 따른 수요변화를 고려한다는 점이다. 이를 위하여 변동부등모형(Variational Inequality Model. VI)으로 문제를 구성하며, 이에 대한 해석 알고리듬도 제시한다. 또한, 변동부등모형으로 구축된 다사용자계층 모형이 다사용자계층 균형조건과 동일함을 보여주는 동등성조건(Equivalency condition)도 제시한다.

  • Analyzing mode choice among transportation demand estimate procedures is complicated and understanding characteristics of travelers is also difficult. Generally, it is well known that traveler choose mode considering psychometric factors and characteristic besides socio-demographic indicators. Accordingly, many researches has investigated on methodology that can be applied in mode choice to reflect psychometric factor or specific preference. Latent Class Analysis among various studies is recognized as the theoretically potential approach. This study focuses on class segmented using latent class cluster to analyze impact that included psychometric factors and characteristics on mode choice. It also provides evidence that mode choice model for each class and mode choice model not considering latent class are different. This study based on citizen's stated preference and revealed preference on a new transit on the Han river shows that latent class cluster analysis is the potential approach considering latent preference.

  • 전형적인 시공간모형은 시공간 변이도(semivariogram) 또는 공분산 함수(covariance function)를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 계산하기 어렵고 현실적이지 못한 결합 공분산함수를 통한 고전적 모형 대신, 일련의 독립적인 조건분포를 이용하는 보다 현실적인 베이지안 계층모형을 이용한다. 미국 전 지역에 산재해 있는 138개 기온 관측소로부터 얻어진 61년(1920-1980) 동안의 연기온편차 자료에 시공간 베이지안 계층모형을 적용하고 순수시계열모형에서의 적합값과 제안된 모형의 적합값을 비교분석한다.

Developing a Latent Class Model Considering Heterogeneity in Mode Choice Behavior : A Case of Commuters in Seoul (수단선택의 이질성을 고려한 잠재계층모형(Latent Class Model) 구축: 서울시 통근자를 사례로)

  • It is crucial to understand how people make decisions on mode choice and to accurately predict their behaviors in transportation planning. One of avenues for advancing modeling is, in particular, taking into account for taste heterogeneity in modeling that can incorporate different decision-making processes across group. In this study, we hypothesize that how people make decisions on mode choice would differ by destination in that land use characteristics are heterogeneous by zone even if zones are all in the same area. To this end, we apply Latent Class Modeling (LCM) to commute trips in Seoul by using 2010 household travel diary survey, investigate types of latent classes with the aid of characteristics of destination, and analyze how those classes differently response to factors. The LCM identifies two classes: in the first one, modal split of auto and public transit (bus and metro) is almost half-and-half and the trip destinations are characterized by relatively more residence facilities and less business/commercial facilities; in the second one, public transit has a notably high share and trip destinations are characterized by relatively more business/commercial facilities. In addition, it turns out that demographic and socio-economic variables affect mode choice differently by class.

  • 최근 수산물 유통 및 물류구조 합리화 방안의 일환으로 수산물 산지종합처리장 설립이 적극 추진되고 있으나 부지 선정을 위한 합리적 의사결정 모형이 마련되지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 수산물 처리의 특성을 반영할 수 있는 평가 모형을 개발ㆍ제시한다. 모형 설계에는 평가 기준의 체계를 수립하고 적절한 평가 기법을 선택하는 과정이 포함된다. 평가 기준의 확립을 위하여 시설 입지와 관련된 문헌을 고찰하고 다차원적 접근법에 의한 계층적 체계화를 시도하였다. 체계화된 평가 기준에 따른 의사결정 대안의 평가 기법으로 주관적 판단의 계량화에 적절하다고 판단되는 계층분석과정(Analytic Hierarchy Process : AHP) 기법을 선택하여 평가 모형을 완성하였다. 모형 적용의 일부분인 기준 간 중요도 평가를 위한 실사를 수행하고, AHP에서 제공하는 계층 일관성 기준에 따라 신뢰성 있다고 판단되는 자료만을 분석에 사용하여 결과를 제시하였다.

Elementary School Children's Trajectories of Self-Esteem in Grades 1 through 4 (초등학교 1~4학년의 자아존중감 변화궤적 및 잠재계층유형)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the change trajectory and latent class types of self-esteem in first to fourth grade elementary school students. For the purpose, the Korean Children's Panel data were analyzed using potential growth model and the growth mixture model. As the results, the linear change model was selected as the most appropriate model. The change trajectory was found to increase slightly as the grade increased. In addition, four latent class groups were derived through: 'high level-maintenance,' 'low level-increase,' 'high level-decrease,' and 'low level-maintenance.' Most children were in the 'high level-maintenance' group, followed by 'high level-decrease,' 'low level-increase,' and 'low level-maintenance' groups. Therefore, based on the results of the study, we suggest that educational institutions and local communities pay attention to trends in elementary school students' self-esteem and provide appropriate support for students in each class.

  • We study time series models for seasonal time series data with a covariance structure that depends on time and the periodic autocorrelation at various lags $k$. In this paper, we introduce an ARMA model with periodically varying coefficients(PARMA) and analyze Arosa ozone data with a periodic correlation in the practical case study. Finally, we use a PARMA model and a seasonal ARIMA model for data analysis and show the performance of a PARMA model with a comparison to the SARIMA model.

  • This study aims to examine primary determinant for medical expenditure depending on different age and income brackets. The age and income brackets are simultaneously taken into account for a forming of structural models, and GARCH methodology is utilized in analyzing the model. Empirical evidence reveals that no matter how general medical care system is appropriately operated, medical expenditure is vulnerable in taking care of potential socially-disadvantaged class and the group of catastrophic medical expenditure as long as the age and income brackets concern, simultaneously. It signifies that more elaborately designed medical-related policy seems to be established to improve its effectiveness. On the contrary, ageing society is comparatively well-treated by public health law and act on long-term care insurance for the aged.
