A study on parsimonious periodic autoregressive model (모수 절약 주기적 자기회귀 모형에 관한 연구)

  • This paper proposes a parsimonious periodic autoregressive (PAR) model. The proposed model performance is evaluated through an analysis of Korean unemployment rate series that is compared with existing models. We exploit some common features among each seasonality and confirm it by LR test for the parsimonious PAR model in order to impose a parsimonious structure on the PAR model. We observe that the PAR model tends to be superior to existing seasonal time series models in mid- and long-term forecasts. The proposed parsimonious model significantly improves forecasting performance.

  • 수문 분석과 갈수기 유량 산정, 가뭄관리에 직접/기저 유출 분리 및 평가는 매우 중요하며, 이러한 분석을 위하여 많은 모형들이 개발되었고, 실제 유역에 적용되어 연구에 이용되고 있다. 이들 중 Baseflow filter program(BFlow)을 이용한 감수곡선의 Alpha factor 산정 방법이 직접/기저 유출 분리에 널리 이용되고 있다. 하지만 BFlow는 장기 유량 자료를 이용하여 그 유역을 대표할 수 있는 Alpha factor 만을 제시하고 있기 때문에, 계절별/연별로 변화하는 감수곡선의 특성을 정확히 반영하기에는 많은 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 계절별로 변화하는 감수곡선 특성을 조금 더 정확하게 실제 유역에 적용하기 위하여 BFlow 프로그램이용, 장기간의 유량 특성을 분석하여 계절별 Alpha factor를 산정하고 이를 Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT) 모형에 적용하여 기존의 방법과의 차이를 분석하였다. SWAT 모형의 경우 alpha factor가 실제로는 Hydrologic Response Unit (HRU) 별로 활용되기 때문에, 계절별 Alpha factor 산정이 미치는 영향이 실제로 다소 크게 분석되었다. 특히 본 연구에서는 저유량 부분의 차이를 면밀히 분석하여 Alpha factor 저유량 산정에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였으며 이는 SWAT 모형의 단점인 저유량 산정을 개선하는데 기여할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to research seasonal constellation experiments and to find out what are effective seasonal constellation experiments according to school salary. we organized seasonal constellation experiments with 24 elementary preparatory teachers and asked them to what effective experiments are for each school class. As a result, constellation learning through direct experience activities through role play is the most effective in elementary school, and in middle and high schools, using the stellarium program to realistically observe and reason about seasonal changes in constellations was selected as an effective experiment. Pre-service teachers recognized that experiments in which direct experience and specific manipulation activities were emphasized in elementary school, and experiments in which observation of realistic natural phenomena and reasoning activities were emphasized were effective in middle and high schools.

  • The moving block bootstrap, the stationary bootstrap, and the threshold bootstrap are methods of simulation output analysis, which are applicable to autocorrelated data. These bootstrap methods assume the stationarity of data. However, bootstrap methods cannot work if the stationary assumption is not guaranteed because of seasonality or trends in data. In the simulation output analysis, threshold bootstrap method is the best in describing the autocorrelation structure of original data set. The threshold bootstrap makes the cycle based on threshold value. If we apply the bootstrap to seasonality data, we can get similar accuracy of the results. In this paper, we verify the possibility of applying the bootstrap to seasonal data.

  • 최근 비정상적인 네트워크 활동 감지 및 네트워크 서비스 프로비저닝과 같은 다양한 분야에서 응용되는 네트워크 트래픽 예측 기술이 네트워크 통신 문제에 의한 트래픽의 결측 및 네트워크 유저의 불규칙한 활동에 의한 비선형 특성 때문에 발생하는 성능 저하를 극복하기 위해 딥러닝 신경망에 대한 연구가 활성화되고 있다. 이 딥러닝 신경망 중 시계열 딥러닝 신경망은 단기 네트워크 트래픽 볼륨을 예측할 때 낮은 오류율을 보인다. 하지만, 시계열 딥러닝 신경망은 기울기 소멸 및 폭발과 같은 비선형성, 다중 계절성 및 장기적 의존성 문제와 같은 한계를 보여준다. 이 논문에서는 계절성 임베딩을 고려한 주의 신경망 기반 트래픽 예측 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 STL 분해 기법을 통해 분해된 트래픽 트랜드, 계절성, 잔차를 이용하여 일별 및 주별 계절성을 임베딩하고 이를 주의 신경망을 기반으로 향후 트래픽을 예측한다.

Seasonal Variations of Mood and Behavior in Korean Medical Students (한국의 의과대학생에서 기분과 행동의 계절적 변동)

  • Objectives: Although many studies on seasonal variations in mood and behavior have been carried out in foreign countries, no such study has previously been undertaken in Korea. The goal of this study was to estimate the frequency of seasonal variations in mood and behavior among Korean medical students. Methods: 297 medical students from Korea University College of Medicine participated in this study. The subjects were surveyed with a Korean translation of the Seasonal Pattern Assessment Questionnaire (SPAQ), and their responses were evaluated for seasonal patterns of mood and behavioral change, including seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and subsyndromal seasonal affective disorder (S-SAD), derived from the case-finding criteria of Kasper et al. Results: The mean global seasonality score was 6.6 (SD=3.6). 83.5% (N=248) of the subjects reported some changes in behavior and mood associated with the seasons. Only 3.7% (N=11) reported no behavioral changes across the seasons. Total prevalence rates were 15.2% for SAD, and 2.7% for S-SAD. The estimated frequencies were 3.0% for summer SAD, 2.7% for summer S-SAD, 11.4% for winter SAD, and 5.8% for winter S-SAD. The prevalence rates for winter SAD or S-SAD were higher than the prevalence rates for summer SAD or S-SAD. Conclusion: These results suggest that seasonal variations in mood and behavior are common among Koreans. The higher prevalence rate of winter SAD or S-SAD than summer SAD or S-SAD is consistent with most western studies and stands in contrasts to studies in other Asian countries, such as Japan and China.

Comparison of quality characteristics between seasonal cultivar of salted-Kimchi cabbage (Brassica rapa L. ssp. Pekinesis) (계절별 절임배추의 품질 특성 비교)

  • This study was carried to investigate the physicochemical and microbiological characteristics of seasonal salted-Kimchi cabbage order to provide basic data for optimal salting and storage condition of seasonal Kimchi cabbage. Generally, fall season samples had slightly higher pH and acidity value than the other seasonal salted Kimchi cabbage. The soluble solids content of spring, summer, fall and winter samples were 5.95%, 6.18%, 6.29% and 7.76%, respectively. The salt content of all the seasonal salted Kimchi cabbage samples were insignificant. The number of microbial bacteria in the summer samples were generally much more significant than spring and winter samples. There was no significant difference in the color of seasonal salted Kimchi cabbage. As for the texture properties, the firmest samples in the surface rupture test were the spring samples (force: 4.92 kg), and the hardest samples in the puncture test were the summer samples (force: 11.71 kg). In the correlation analysis of the quality characteristics of seasonal samples, the soluble solids content and hardness of the seasonal salted Kimchi cabbage was significantly correlated at 1% significance level. Also, in the principal component analysis, F1 and F2 were shown to explain 27.28% and 35.59% of the total variance (62.87%), respectively. The hierarchical cluster analysis of the quality characteristics of seasonal samples, the samples were divided into three groups: spring cabbage group, summer cabbage group and fall and winter cabbage group.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate development and nutrient analysis of traditional food in the Sunchang area. A total 6 kinds of set tables was excavated from storytelling. Among set tables, taste and season food were the best in Sunchang gochujang hanjeongsik and Sunchang arirang season table. Shape color, smell, and commercialization possibility and differentiation were best in Sunchang arirang season table. Mole Ratio of sodium and potassium was 1:1 in Sunchang gochujang hanjeongsik and Sunchang arirang season table. The calcium contents in Sunchang gochujang hanjeongsik and Sunchang arirang season table were higher than other traditional foods. This result indicated that Sunchang gochujang hanjeongsik and Sunchang arirang season table are useful for traditional functional food. Also, it is highly suggested to make a database system about local food and standardization of traditional foods cookery.

  • 국내에서 양계를 사양하기 어려운 조건 중 하나가 계절적 요인이라 할 수 있겠다. 4계절이 있는 국내에서 양계 사양관리는 계절변화 요인이 적게 나타나는 동남아와 일부 유럽에 비하여 관리하기 까다로운 것이 사실이다. 국내기후는 건실한 시설과 그에 맞는 관리를 요구하는 환절기가 존재하여 생산성에 영향을 주고 있다고 표현하는 것이 맞는 것 같다. 환절기 사양관리 중에 주의해서 관리해야 할 사항 중 제일 중점적으로 점검해야 할 사항이 환기가 아닌가 한다.

나주지역 대기중 벤젠의 계절별 농도 분포 특성

  • 본 연구에서는 교외지역인 전남 나주에 소재한 동신대학교 1공학관 주변의 환경 대기중의 VOC중 벤젠을 계절별로 그 농도를 비교해 보았다. 그 결과 첫째, 벤젠과 톨루엔의 계절별 농도 평균값이 봄(늦봄), 여름, 가을 순으로 농도가 높게 나타나 온도에 상대적으로 많은 영향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 나주지역의 벤젠농도가 여천지역이나 서울지역에 비해 봄에 8배, 3배 그리고 여름철에 14배, 5배 정도로 각각 낮게 나타나 나주 지역이 비교적 청정지역임을 알 수 있었다.
