A writer's text signals are converted into visual ones as a director exerts his fundamental capability to interpret and direct. On the other hand, his situational capability comes into play as the production environment changes. Such latest developments as the increasing popularity of production outsourcing, the sapped advertising market, and the growth in the number of the media channels and consequently heightened level of competition have led to changes in the way of advertising and production sponsorship. In turn, directors are faced with a new environment, where they are now required to pick up the role of an advertising director. Given that the production costs have been rising faster than the advertising revenue, such change in the director's situational capability seems to be part of the overall drama industry's evolution.

This study analyzed the TV documentary titled on early childhood English education through narrative structure analysis (Chatman, 2003). It performed syntagmatic analysis to clarify the story structure with a focus on the development of events, and paradigmatic analysis to understand the semantic structure hidden in the text by binary opposition analysis. The documentary was constructed in the frame of 'balance-confusion-rebalance', and it was explicitly delivered that the English immersion education prohibited in the private elementary schools has stimulated the market of private English education. However, the government's and students' voices were missing, and the group of parents, private elementary school officials, and people involved in private English institutes played as main agents to lead the discourse of English immersion and early childhood English education in the documentary.

현재 우리나라에서는 통합경영체의 '통합' 개념을 '수직통합', '계열화' 등으로 다양하고 사용하고 있다. '통합경영체'는 '농축산물이 생산부터 소비에 이르기까지의 과정에 있어 단계들의 일부 또는 전부를 결합 운영하거나 단계간 협력체계를 유지함에 있어 의사결정의 중심이 되는 경영체'를 말하는 것이다. 육계산업은 수직통합이 타 축종에 비해 급속히 진행되면서 규모화된 기업 위주로 재편 되고 있다. 특히 2003년부터 시행된 HACCP 규정과 2007년 1월부터 시행된 개체포장의무화로 열악한 공장설비와 충분한 자금력을 갖추지 못한 영세업체, 단순 임도계업체, 수입닭고기에 의존하는 일부 단체급식소의 유통업체들은 점차적으로 자연 도태될 것으로 전망 된다. 따라서 향후 육계산업의 대표적인 경쟁요소는 수직통합에 필요한 단계간 유기적 결합과 시설의 규모 및 최선 설비에 따라 경쟁력이 결정될 것으로 보인다. 이와 같은 요인들은 생산비 절감을 통한 생산성 향상과 직접적으로 연결되고 있다. 이번호에서는 해외 대표적인 통합경영체인 미국 타이슨(Tyson Foods)의 통합경영에 대 해 살펴보고자 한다.

This study recognizes the problem of terminology surrounding the concept of transmedia and attempts to arrange and examine the concept by applying the syntagmes theory of linguistics. In transmedia, the prefix 'trans' means transversal, transformation, and transcendence. This versatility of the word transmedia itself provides a starting point for recognizing the concept of transmedia as an incomplete syntagmes with the verbal paradigm of transversal, transformation and transcendence. Depending on who is the subject of media content, such as media companies, creators, and users, syntagmes of transmedia is linked to terms such as transmedia franchise, transmedia storytelling, and prosumer. The purposes of the three subjects in the discourse of transmedia are different, using IP, expanding the story world, and enjoying the work. However, the common desires of 'repeat', 'extension', 'secure' and 'connection' are found in the purpose of three subjects. If terms like transmedia franchise, transmedia storytelling, and prosumer are 'parols' of the transmedia concept, then repetition, extension, securing and linking are the 'langues' of the transmedia concept.

This study conducted semiotic analysis of drama . Based on Paradigm, Syntagm concept, I apprehended the characteristics of descriptive structure of drama, characters and contemplated on ideology reflected in the drama. As a result, it has approaching method of Critical Pluralism which strongly exposes resistance ideology. The drama intensified Classical Ideology such as gender role, hero, and family ideology, also it consists of Humane Introspection Ideology such as self-understanding, mutual-understanding, and self-serving bias.

인공신경망을 시계열예측에 적용하는 경우에 고려되어야 할 문제중, 특히 모형에 적합한 입력변수의 생성이 중요시되고 있는데, 이러한 분야는 인공신경망의 모형생성과정에서 입력변수에 대한 전처리기법으로써 다양하게 제시되어 왔다. 가장 최근의 입력변수 전처리기법으로써 제시되고 있는 신호처리기법은 전통적 주기분할처리방법인 푸리에변환기법(Fourier transforms)을 비롯하여 이를 확장시킨 개념인 웨이블릿변환기법(wavelet transforms) 등으로 대별될 수 있다. 이는 기본적으로 시계열이 다수의 주기(cycle)들로 구성된 상이한 시계열들의 집합이라는 가정에서 출발하고 있다. 전통적으로 이러한 시계열은 전기 또는 전자공학에서 주파수영역분할, 즉 고주파 및 저주파수를 분할하기 위한 기법에 적용되어 왔다. 그러나, 최근에는 이러한 연구가 다양한 분야에 활발하게 응용되기 시작하였으며, 그 중의 대표적인 예가 바로 경영분야의 재무시계열에 대한 분석이다 전통적으로 재무시계열은 장, 단기의사결정을 가진 시장참여자들간의 거래특성이 시계열에 각기 달리 가격으로 반영되기 때문에 이러한 상이한 집단들의 고유한 거래움직임으로 말미암아 예를 들어, 주식시장이 프랙탈구조를 가지고 있다고 보기도 한다. 이처럼 재무시계열은 다양한 사회현상의 집합체라고 볼 수 있으며, 그만큼 예측모형을 구축하는데 어려움이 따른다. 본 연구는 이러한 시계열의 주기적 특성에 기반을 둔 신호처리분석으로서 기존의 시계열로부터 노이즈를 줄여 주면서 보다 의미 있는 정보로 변환시켜 줄 수 있는 웨이블릿분석 방법론을 새로운 필터링기법으로 사용하여 현재 많은 연구가 진행되고 있는 인공신경망과의 모형결합을 통해 기존연구와는 다른 새로운 통합예측방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 통합방법론은 크게 2단계 과정을 거쳐 예측모형으로 완성이 된다. 즉, 1차 모형단계에서 원시 재무시계열은 먼저 웨이블릿분석을 통해서 노이즈가 필터링 되는 동시에, 과거 재무시계열의 프랙탈 구조, 즉 비선형적인 움직임을 보다 잘 반영시켜 주는 다차원 주기요소를 가지는 시계열로 분해, 생성되며, 이렇게 주기에 따라 장단기로 분할된 시계열들은 2차 모형단계에서 신경망의 새로운 입력변수로서 사용되어 최종적인 인공 신경망모델을 구축하는 데 반영된다.

A design representation is reflected in the typicality of branch representation as a syntagm in combination with design factors. And the design factors form up paradigm as an attributive category which is reflected object and value of branch representations, and they are consisted of selection and combination in representative process. Selection and combination of the design attributive category also reflect the representation consciousness of operating in representative process, and they imply a cognizance about object and value of the representation. Therefore, branch representation appears an attributive structure which is required of a given field by means of the representative object and value. This is made up of the divided differentiation according to a combined mode. This study is to investigate the fact verification between typicality of attributive structure and each divided differentiation to measure consideration degree of attributive category which is consisted in the design representation. The attributive structure of representation which is affected the industrial design, the visual communication design, and the environmental design fields identifies to take the typical differentiation by means of evaluations and results of this study.

This article attempts to suggest a frame of game genres by appling the concept of narrative. The narrative is traditional and useful concept in game study, though the narrative of computer games is under discussion. In the main discourse, syntagmatic/paradigmatic character of narrative and the rate of importance of narrative in the game are used for two axis to set the location of computer game genres. As a result, I could find the location of computer game genres that reflects the characters of narrative.

An embryonic stem (ES) cell-based in vitro model system was examined to determine whether a simple differentiation of embryoid bodies (EB) in the suspension medium is useful to dissect early erythropoiesis. Characteristics of the differentiating EBs were monitored for their differentiation potential to generate hematopoietic cell types by general morphology, benzidine staining and two-step colony assays, and expressivity of several erythroid marker genes by the RT-PCR analysis for total cellular RNA prepared from the differentiating EBs. Every ematopoietic lineage cells were generated from the differentiating EBs with reproducible frequencies, similar to the other sophisticated differentiation protocols. Furthermore, the globin gene switching in differentiating ES cells paralleled the sequence of events found in the mouse embryo, and such that their expression was activated by at least 12 hrs later than those of erythroid-specific transcription factors, GATA-1 and Tal-1 The erythropoietic differentiation program initiated reproducibly and efficiently in this simple differentiation system in a suspension culture, such that this system may be useful for dissection of the molecular events of early erythropoiesis.
