Transvaluation of Values and Genealogy of Will to Power - Nietzsche's Criticism on Paul's Transvaluation of Values - (가치전도와 힘에의 의지의 계보학 - 바울의 가치전도에 대한 니체의 비판 -)

  • The aims this paper to examine Nietzsche's criticism on Paul's transvaluation of values. First, I will examine Socrates' transvaluation of values through which, Greek culture was deconstructed. He opened a path for the transvaluation of values before Paul and Nietzsche and reorganized Greek culture around his own values. I will also analyze the 'will to power' hidden behind Socrates' transvaluation of values. Second, I will examine the essence of the Paul's transvaluation of values. I will trace how Paul, through his transvaluation of values, could become the center of Christianity and, in turn, control European Culture. I will also show the difference between the teachings of Jesus and the arguments of Paul. Third, I will look at the Nietzsche's criticism on Paul's transvaluation of values. The key to Nietzsche's criticism on Paul is to evaluate Paul's transvaluation of values in terms of his will to power. And I will also look at the problems of Nietzsche's criticism on Paul. Fourth, I will look at Nietzsche's transvaluation of values. It is accomplished in such a way that he makes Socrates' and Paul's transvaluation of value alters. His transvaluation of values will be critically examined for strength in life and world understanding over Socrates' and Paul's transvaluation of values.

  • 홍수완화의 관점에서 강을 관리하기 위하여 수자원의 이용과 생태계보전, 하천흐름과 형태학적 변화들에 대하여 충분히 이해하고 합리적으로 설명하는 것이 필요하다. 최근에 수변지역에서 발달된 식생은 홍수시에 감속영역과 생물들의 피난처를 제공하는 것 이외에 횡단방향의 혼합작용을 활성화하여 유사와 식물의 씨앗 및 입자성 유기물(POM)을 포착하는 기능을 하고 특히 흐름과 유사이송 및 하도 지형변화에 큰 영향을 주기 때문에 중요하다. 입자성 유기물(POM)은 하천생태계를 지탱하는 에너지원으로서 다양한 형태로 존재하고 미생물의 분해를 받아 무기화된 식생의 번무와 물질순환의 시발점이 되기도 하지만 현재까지 식생영역 내에서 그 공급과정에 관련이 있는 운동기구에 관한 연구는 아직 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 식생영역의 유사퇴적 및 분급작용, 입자성 유기물의 포착을 일으키는 원인과 흐름의 특징 중 식생영역 내에서 흐름방향으로 감속에 주목하여 수리 모형실험을 실시하였고 수변식생에서 부유사와 POM의 퇴적과정에 대하여 검토 및 모델링을 실시하였다. 수리 모형실험 결과 CPOM과 FPOM 모두 유사의 퇴적없이 그 자체로는 퇴적이 되지 않았고 수변식생의 종방향 이송의 경우 식생에 의해 퇴적된 부유사가 사련 형태로 형성이 되어 CPOM이 사련의 배후에서 캡쳐 되었다. 또한 두가지 샘플 움직임의 상호작용은 사련의 파고와 파장의 전파속도를 감소시켰다. 식생지역에서 횡방향 분산의 경우에 대해서는 각각의 유사 크기에 대한 퇴적물의 능선은 식생의 경계를 따라 형성되었고 운동의 범위는 유사 퇴적의 능선에 의해 촉진되어 횡방향으로 확산하며 확장되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 제한된 경험적인 지식보다 오히려 실험을 통하여 식생을 동반하는 장소에서 유사와 POM의 거동특성 차이 및 간섭작용을 명확히 한 후 현장에서 관측된 현상과 비교 검증이 필요하다고 사료되며 추후에 운동기구를 모델링 및 업그레이드 해 나가는 것이 앞으로의 하천생태계 예측평가에 필요하다고 판단된다.

A Study on Aspect of Genre Differentiation in Digital Games - Focused on 'Roguelike' and 'Metroidvania' (디지털 게임의 하위 장르 분화 양상 연구 - 로그라이크, 메트로배니아를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze genre differentiation in digital games and examine the changing characteristics of core genre elements. Especially this study focuses on the aspect that how players recognize genre differentiation based on the conceptual blending theory. The evolution of the genre does not end with decline or extinction. The genre keeps being divided into sub-genres through partial use of genre elements. The differentiation of the genre results from the principle of frame confrontation or expansion with a parent genre. Rogue-like games are differentiated from Role-playing games by frame conflict, while Metroidvania games are differentiated from Platform adventure games by frame expansion. In the former case, the core genre elements are independent and easily combined with other genres. For example, the core mechanism of Rogue-like genre like 'perma-death' or 'procedural generation' has a decisive effect on the differentiation of the game experience become an independent genre element. In the latter case of Metroidvania, the core genre elements strongly reveals context dependency and are difficult to use outside the genre convention. The core mechanism of Metroidvania is 'backtracking' in the labyrinth style map, but it could be effective genre element within the specific context like side-scrolling action-platformer.

  • This study examines the process of internalization and elaboration of the logic of competition in the post-IMF era through the genealogy of the survival program. Post-IMF is based on disaster reality, which reveals a specific emotional structure related to the competition, if the narrative of overcoming the IMF event finds narrative models that can be sufficiently reconciled between communityism and individual success. This study also examines the process of disaster preparedness through survival form and narrative structure embedded in such form. Thus, this study reconstructed the diachronic change to track the change of the survival program and the subsequent narrative change. Relative to the time of the healing-mentor, the survival program seems to be declining, but rather seems to have created a new transition through the logic of self-development contained in the healing-mentoring discourse. this logic leads to be ghettoized hierarchy of preferences. Now, the survival program is to perform fantastic surrogate satisfaction by delegating competition to a narrow self-directed area rather than to a big empathy within the community.

  • Historically, the representation of the colonial period has responded closely to the policies and political conditions of the time. The Korean blockbuster , which links the genealogy of Manchuria Western, adopts a safe nationalism frame, upgrading the genre's narrative typology to colorful action and spectacle, including the Japanese army, the Liberation Army, the good and evil, and the confusion of identity.   • In recent years, as feminism has emerged as a main value in Korean society, related design studies are also increasing. This research archived domestic feminist design studies to provide researchers with a genealogy of feminist design research. The research defines 'feminist design' prior to the collection of domestic feminist design studies, and examine the British-American history of the feminist design studies as an origin of the term. As a feature of the period, the number of feminist design studies surged in 1999, and since the 2000s, an average of 5.1 studies have been published annually. As a feature of each field, there were a lot of studies in fashion, visual, architecture, design science, product order in the whole studies. Feminist design researchers accumulate discourse on a clear line of studies and hope that this research will be renewed in the not too distant future.

  • This essay focused on mapping out the next archiving model during 15 years. This metaphorical 'JINGU PROJECT' is titled from Shinto relation in Japan rebuilding every 20 years. We need some kinds of self sustainable growth archiving model. It means that it's time to say about our archiving experiences in field for archiving technics and knowledges. We should know the fact that a few thousands archivists have been acting ih fields. Since 1999, we have tried to build up the best practices in public offices. So far, So good. However, we need another wing for better flying from now on. I believe in the power of silences in field because they will speak up their voices.

  • Said's Orientalism criticized the European representations on the Middle-East by theorizing orientalism as a discourse. In this text, he explored and criticized the colonial forms of knowledge and language that distorted the image of the colonized. The justification of the discourse of orientalism is derived from the binary system that is originated from Plato which Derrida rejects on the ground that it always privileges one term over the other, that is, colonizer over colonized. Derrida names for this traditional heritage of Western binary system logocentrism which regards logos(the Greek term for speech or reason) as the central principle of language and philosophy, whereas mythos derives its meaning from the logos on the basis of binary oppositions. Thus according to logocentrism, the colonized is merely the defined who can have its meaning from the definers, colonizers. In this paper, utilizing Derrida's a (non)concept called supplement which means both to add on as a surplus and to make up something missing as a mere extra, I propose another alternative interpretation towards the critique of colonial representation by raising internal contradictions in the Platonic dichotomy between logos and mythos embedded in western colonialism discourse, orientalism. I attempt to show that logos(colonizer) and mythos(colonized) is inseparable in itself due to the fact that they exist as supplementary. For this purpose, I demonstrate how colonial binary system constituted and was constituted in terms of language. Through this paper I reinterpret the colonial rationality of privileging 'logos' over 'mythos' by substituting the colonial binary system with the supplement.

  • This paper examines how Sedgwick makes a political allegory of founding the nation in domestic terms in The Linwoods (1835). Set in the Revolutionary period, The Linwoods is a historical fiction reconstructed by the writer in order to diagnose currently controversial issues. In this aspect, Sedgwick's interest in history is genealogical in Foucaudian sense. Foucault's genealogical method provides a way of recuperating a part of history hidden, submerged, obliterated by the official history. Seen in a genealogical perspective, the story of the Linwoods can be viewed as a political allegory in order to explore political conflicts of Sedgwick's own day. Faced with the threat of national disunion presented in the Nullification Crisis of sectional conflicts and divisions, Sedgwick attempts to provide a fictional solution to the first serious challenge to the U. S. Constitution. Going back to the times around the American Revolution, Sedgwick emphasizes how strenuously the American Constitution of America was formed as the outcome of the war against the tyranny of Britain, and how the Union was made on the basis of the cooperation between the States. By posing a contrast of political positions between family members, Sedgwick imagines a family/nation that allows diverse political positions. The conclusion of a diversity of marriages between man and woman who agree to be united after overcoming their differences in political affiliations seems to show her conservative proclivity to support the Union. However, by emphasizing the principles of freedom and equality represented by the significant role of Isabella and Rose, an African-American slave, in the victory of the American Revolution, Sedgwick also supports the spirit of the Jacksonian American democracy.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the American black film director Ryan Coogler and his cinema world. Coogler as a youth director directs three movies as (2013), (2015), (2018) from independence film to Hollywood film, and represents black people' life and racial discrimination base on his cultural identity. For this study, explore traits of esthetics, subject and context meaning by analyzing representative three movies. Lastly examines significance of his movies in Hollywood black film history. He represents blackness and self-reflection as a black youth director, and successfully succeed to the tradition of 'Black Film' in American film history. He also turn white patriarchal ideology upside down in Hollywood. He inherits the tradition of 'Black Film' in American film history, and simultaneously tries to re-write black film tradition. Youth director Coogler is a symbol of 'New Hollywood Black Film Power' at the 21th.
