Synthesis and Characterization of Propylene Glycol based Polyol and Urethane modified Epoxy Monomer for Flexibility (Flexibility 도입을 위한 Propylene glycol 기반 폴리올, 우레탄 변성 에폭시 합성 및 특성 분석)

  • In this study, a polyol was prepared using Jeffamine D-400 as a propylene glycol-based diamine to impart flexibility to the urethane-modified epoxy, and a urethane-modified epoxy was synthesized using the polyol. Urethane-modified epoxy synthesized with existing Bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE) epoxy, a curing agent, and a curing accelerator are mixed to prepare an epoxy adhesive, and shear strength is measured by measuring adhesion strength. As a result, shear strength and shear elongation tended to increase. These results are due to the high crosslinking density. It is believed that it can be applied to structural adhesives that are restricted in use.

Interface Characteristics of Epoxy Composite Treated with Silane Coupling Agent (실란 결합제 처리된 에폭시 수지 복합재료의 계면 특성)

  • The effects of coupling agent on the interface characteristics between epoxy resin and natural zeolite were studied by SEM, optical microscope and universal testing machine (UTM). Epoxy resin as a matrix was diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA)/4,4'-methylene dianiline (MDA)/malononitrile (MN) system and natural zeolite as an inorganic fillet was produced in Korea. With the increment of zeolite content, tensile strength decreased and it was due to the different elastic moduli of two materials. When external stress was loaded on the composites, the stress concentrated on the weakly bonded interface and crack grew easily. To improve the interface characteristics, the surface of the natural zeolite was treated with the silane coupling agent and it was found that the tensile strength was increased. The morphology of the interface showed that the bonding characteristics were modified by coupling agent.

  • Graphite and $MoS_2$ were added respectively to the Cu/Sn bond materials of the same composition as a lubricant in order to find out the effect of lubricants on the mechanical properties and the increase in density of the sintered products for microblades. The addition of $MoS_2$ as a lubricant was more beneficial to strength, fracture toughness, and hardness as well as densification than graphite. $MoS_2$ seemed to be more effective in reducing the friction between the metallic powders and die wall during hot pressing process. Due to the better wettability of MoS2 with bond metal alloy, less amount of interfacial defects which is detrimental to mechanical properties use observed.

  • Optimum conditions of fabrication and the effects of silane coupling agent on Glass-cloth/unsaturated Polyester composite materials were investigated. Dielectric strength and mechanical tensile strength were significantly improved in the sample with epoxy silane treatment, compared with the case without epoxy silane treatment. Treatment rate of interface coupling agent in composite materials were increased with increases of glass-fiber layers and content of glass fiber.

  • A disposable, electro-chemiluminescent immunosensor utilizing a screen-printed carbon electrode and liposome coupled to antibody as tracer has been constructed. In proportion to the analyte (Legionella species as a model) concentration, the analyte-immunoliposome complexes were transferred by the capillary action through a membrane strip to the electrode, the liposomes were lysed in the presence of detergent, and ruthenium was released for signal generation. Such performance of the immunosensor was appropriate for a point-of-care testing.

  • 아크이온플래이팅 기술과 스퍼터링 기술이 결합된 하이브리드 코팅 시스템을 이용하여 STS 304와 Si 기판에 4성분계 Cr-Al-Mo-N 코팅을 증착하였다. $N_2$/Ar 혼합가스 분위기하에 아크 타겟은 Cr을 사용하였고 스퍼터링 타겟은 Al과 Mo를 사용하였으며 합성된 Cr-Al-Mo-N 코팅은 주로 치환고용된 (Cr, Al, Mo)N으로 구성되었다. 최고 경도값은 Mo 함량이 24.2 at.%일 때 35 GPa을 나타냈으며 마찰계수는 Mo의 함량이 0에서 33.2 at.%로 증가함에 따라 0.9에서 0.48로 감소하였다. 이는 $MoO_3$가 코팅면과 스틸볼 계면에서 고체 윤활제로 작용한 것으로 사료된다. 그러나 Cr-Al-Mo-N 코팅은 MoN의 낮은 내산화온도로 인하여 Cr-Al-N에 비하여 더 낮은 온도에서 산화되었다.

유리섬유/에폭시 복합절연재료의 계면 접착력 개선에 관한 연구 1

  • With the contact angle of phase dropping epoxy resin on the inorganic filler(glass plate) surface treated with air plasma, we have studied about the interfacial wettability between epoxy resin and glass plate as a simple model of glass fiber reinforced composite materials. The contact angle on the inorganic filler surface varied with surface treatment conditions. The contact angle significantly depends on plasma treating time and environment temperature in the oven. From the view point of plasma treatment condition in this work, when discharge conditions were pressure 200mtorr, voltage 800V, magnetic flux density 8OGauss, optimum treatment time were proved as 3,4 and 5 minutes for the environment of >$80^{\circ}C$, >$100^{\circ}C$ and >$120^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • 지금까지 발전기 전동기 및 전력용 변합기와 같은 중전기에 사용되고 있는 복합절연재료인 유리섬유 강화프라스틱은 단가가 높고, 기계적 특성이 비등방성이며 기게적 응력이나 서어비스 중에 계면보이드의 발생으로 문제성이 제기되어 왔다. 이러한 결점을 해소하기 위하여 플레이크상의 필라에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 대표적인 플레이크상 재료인 마이카를 이용하여 현재 대형 발전기나 전동기의 고정자 권선 절연용으로 연구 개발되고 있는 마이카 페이프/에폭시 복합재료를 제작한 후, 이 재료의 전기적 및 기계적 특성과 최적 제작조건 등에 실험적으로 고찰하였다. 특히 아미노 실란 게면 결합제를 필라에 적용하여 시료의 전기적 및 기계적 특성에 미치는 효과를 검토하였다.

  • Electrical properties of Crosslinked polyethylene/silane crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE/SXLPE) blends were studied. Silane coupling agents of various contents were added to blends and their water tree and electrical breakdown characteristics were investigated. The water tree length of XLPE/SXLPE were increased by the addition of silane coupling agents except the case of SXLPE 10 % containing coupling agents of 0.5, 1.0 phr. AC breadown strength slightly increased by the addition of coupling agents to XLPE/SXLPE blends in cases of SXLPE 20 % containing coupling agents of 2.0 phr and SXLPE 50 %. The tendency of effects on water tree and breakdown characteristics was inverse.

  • Electronic Paper용 무기소재로 $TiO_2$ 나노입자를 적용하기 위해서는 분산시 침전문제, 입자의 전기영동 속도향상을 위한 충분한 $\xi-potential$확보, 분산제 첨가시 안정적 결합을 위한 acidic site의 확보등의 문제가 해결되어야 한다. 이를 위해 저온균일침전법으로 $TiO_2$ 나노입자를 제조하였고, 폴리머 체인을 통하여 encapsulation하여 최적의 분산과 전기영동조건 확보를 위한 공정조건에 대해 연구하였다. 실험결과 다양한 분산매에 계면활성제를 1.0wt% 첨가시 유전율상수가 2.5인 분산매에서 가장 좋은 $\xi-potential$을 얻을 수 있었으며 이를 바탕으로 acidic site에 따른 폴리머 체인의 흡착실험 결과 pH $1{\sim}2$의 조건에서 제조된 $TiO_2$ 나노입자의 경우가 체인과의 흡착정도가 가장 좋아 분산특성을 향상시킬 수 있었다.
