Distribution of woody plants and flora of vascular plant in cheonjiyeon valley in Jeju Island (제주도 천지연계곡의 수목분포와 관속식물상)

  • This study investigated the species composition and distribution of woody plants, and flora of vascular plants of Cheonjiyeon where is located in the most southern region of Korea. Twenty-nine taxa of trees were distributed in the valley, and of these, deciduous broad-leaved trees were 13. Of the total number of 2,547 trees, 1,429 were deciduous broad-leaved trees and remainder was broad-leaved evergreen. Deciduous broad-leaved trees covered 48.7% of the tree canopy while evergreen broad-leaved trees covered only 42.3%. The total number of shrub taxa was 37 with more evergreen shrub taxa than deciduous. Evergreen shrubs occupied 64.4% of shrub canopy while deciduous shrubs covered only 35.4%. The result of the investigation of flora showed that there are 446 taxa of flora including 114 families, 320 genera, 397 species, 1 subspecies, 39 varieties, and 9 forma. Of these, two species, Rubus hongnoensis Nakai and Lycoris chejuensis K. Tae et S. Ko, are endemic plants of Jeju Island. The flora includes 17 taxa of rare plants that are distributed only in Jeju Island in Korea. Also, the flora includes 1 taxon, Elaeocarpus sylvestris (Loureiro) Poiret var. ellipticus (Thunb.) Hara, of Korean natural monument, 2 taxa, Psilotum nudum (L.) Griseb. and Crypsinus hastatus (Thunb.) Copeland, of legally protected wildlife and plants, 38 taxa of naturalized plants, and 75 taxa of introduced plants.

Determinant Paths of Recreation Forest Visitors' Satisfaction and Revisit by Expectation-Disconfirmation Theory (기대불일치이론에 의한 자연휴양림 이용객의 만족 및 재방문 결정경로)

  • This study analyzes how expectations, perceived performance and expectation-disdonfirmation of the recreation-forest visitors affect their satisfaction and revisit using path analysis. These results which would maximize visitors' satisfaction and revisit will enhance recreational forest management. As the results, factors of expectation-disconfirmation positively effected visit satisfaction are experience-facilities, natural resources, access and valley factors. In addition, natural resources factor effects positively their selection-satisfaction. Also, visit-satisfaction and selection-satisfaction effect positively to their revisit intention. This result show seeking the visitors' satisfaction through recreation-forest manager try to expectation-disconfirmation of experience-facilities, natural resources, access and valley factors exchange to positive expectation-disconfirmation.

Studies on the Structure of forest Community at the Danggol Valley in Taebaeksan Area, the Baekdudaegan (백두대간 태백산지역 당골계곡의 산림군락구조에 관한 연구)

  • To investigate the fore,:t community structure in the Danggol valley of Taebaeksan (Mt.), area, 45 plots$(10m\times10m)$, were set up with a random sampling method. By cluster analysis the forest community in the study area was classified into three groups (Larix leptolepis community, Fraxinus rhynchophylla-Carpinus cordata community, Betula costata-Quercus mongolica community). There were strong positive correlations between Euonymus sachalinensis and Rhododendron schlippenbachii: Weigela subsessilis and Rhododendron schlippenbachii, Euonymus sachalinensis; Acer pseudo-sieboldianum and Acer tegmentosum; Quercus mongolica and Tilia amurensis. While there were negative correlations between Acer pseudo-sieboldianum and Tilia amurensis, Acer ukurunduense: Quercus mongolica and Acer ukurunduense; Pinus koraiensis and Euonyms sachalinensis Fraxinus sieboldiana and Magnolia sieboldii, Carpinus cordata, Acer mono. Species diversity(H') of the investigated area was $0.7932\~1.2077$.

Preliminary Analysis on Improvement of Water Supply Capacity of Sand Dam (샌드댐 설치에 따른 물공급 개선 효과 예비 분석)

  • It is important to introduce a local adaptive water supply system for upper mountainous regions, which provide a margin of water supply. This can be done through the process of securing a water source, planning for optimal use, and combining it with a water source that can be linked. In particular, in a mountainous region located at the uppermost part of the watershed, an approach should be found to utilize the groundwater discharge supplied through valley water and lateral discharge. This study sought to improve the water supply system using sand dams in drought-prone areas in Chuncheon, in Gangwon Province. Our approach involved virtually installing a sand storage tank under the existing water source to perform modeling in consideration of the current water intake and calculating the amount of water that can be taken from the sand dam. When the sand dam was applied at a size four times larger than the existing water source, it was found that the groundwater drainage increased significantly with changes in water surface slope and hydraulic conductivity.

  • 한반도 지역의 장묘 문화와 고려장의 유래를 살펴본다. 삼국시대로부터 고려사회에 이르기까지는 주로 불교문화의 영향을 받아왔고, 그 후 조선사회에 들어와서 우리 민족은 유교문화에 깊은 관계를 형성하여 왔다. 그러므로 오늘의 우리사회에서도 곳곳에서 유교문화의 깊은 뿌리를 찾아볼 수 있으며, 아직도 우리의 생활문화에서 유교적 관행이나 생활관습을 흔히 느껴볼 수 있다. 이러한 종교 사회적 문화 배경이나 충효사상으로 무장된 우리의 사회상을 살펴볼 때 과연 우리가 전해들은 고려장 문화가 실존적인 것인지에 대하여는 강한 의문과 부정적 사고를 떨쳐 버릴 수 없다. 또한 초식을 즐겨하는 우리 식생활 문화로부터 그들의 온순한 성격이 형성되어 왔던 민족 사회적 정서를 살펴볼 때에도 부모나 가족의 연장자가 늙고 병들었다고 하여 그들을 쉽게 버리고 남은 가족들끼리 편안한 마음으로 살아갈 수 있을까(?)에는 역시 강한 의문점을 뗄 수가 없다. 한국동굴학회의 사업계획에 따라, 중국 길림성 연변조선족자치주 화룡시 근교의 충천계곡(골) 자연동굴을 탐사하고, 고려장 굴이라고 전해오는 석실무덤을 답사하였다.

Forest Structure in Relation to Slope Aspect and Altitude in valley Forests at Hambaeksan Area (함백산지역 계곡부의 사면방향과 해발고에 따른 산림구조)

  • The valley forests located at the east-facing slope and the west facing slope in Hambaeksan area were studied to investigate forest structure in relation to aspect and altitude of the slope. There was little difference in density. mean DBH and basal area of the tree layer between east-facing slope and west-facing slope. The importance percentages of Tilia amurensis and Betula costata in west-facing slope were higher than those in east-facing slope. However, the importance percentages of Quercus mongilica and Fraxinus rhynchophylla in the west facing slope were lower than those in east-facing slope. Species diversity of the west-facing slope was 1.415 and that of the east-facing slope was 1.328. Elevation trends were also found for forest structure. As elevation Increased basal area and mean height of the tree layer decreased in both of east-facing slope and west-facing slope. There was a tendency that number of species, species diversity and evenness decreased with increasing elevation. The importance percentage of Quercus mongolica increased with increasing elevation while those of Betula costata and Maackia amurensis decreased. The result of cluster analysis for the tree and subtree layer indicated that the studied forests were classified into the mixed forest community of broad-leaved tree species at west-facing slope and the low and middle elevation belts of east-facing slope and Quercus mongolica community at the high elevation belt of east-facing slope. Quercus mongolica was significantly and positively correlated with Symplocos chinensis for. pilosa, Acer tschonoskii var. rubripes and deutzia glabrata. Betula costata was significantly and negatively correlated with Quercus mongolica and Acer pseudo-sieboldianum.

상수도 미급수 지역의 I/I 산정 및 특성 분석

  • 본 연구 결과 관거가 길수록, 노후와 될 수록 침입수/유입수량이 증가됨을 알 수 있다. 그러나 도시와 달리 농촌의 경우 관거 오접합 등 시공 부실 및 유지관리 부족에 의한 침입수/유입수량 보다 주변의 계곡, 농업용수 및 지하수 용출에 의한 불명수가 대다수를 차지하고 있다. 또한 정확한 상수사용량 분석이 어려워 I/I가 과다하게 분석되는 경향이 있다. 따라서, 관거 정비 및 유지 보수를 위한 자료 구축 및 평가를 위해선 도시와 농촌의 지역적 특성과 현장 상황을 충분히 고려하여 신중히 적용해야 할 것이다.

Analysis of Bird Community by Habitat Type in Nak-dong Jeongmaek (낙동정맥의서식지유형별조류군집분석)

  • Of the Nak-dong Jeongmaek, five mountains, viz. Mt. Baek-byeong, Mt. Chil-bo, Mt. Baek-am, Mt. Un-ju, Mt. Go-heon, which are considered to well represent the natural environmental characteristics of Nak-dong Jeongmaek as well as its various terrain, were selected for this study. Two fixed plots were selected as sample study areas of each type of bird habitats and surveyed from May to October in 2015. According to the results of the survey conducted in the five mountains of Nak-dong Jeongmaek, a total of 47 species with 1,163 individuals birds was identified. The largest variety of species occupying a particular habitat type was found in the forest road and the ridge with 31 species. Also, the number of individuals was highest in the valley with 471 individuals. According to the results of nesting guild analysis of the vein (Pearson Chi-Square test, ${\chi}^2=13.377$, p = 0.037) by each Nak-dong Jeongmaek habitat type, the communities that belong to the canopy nesting guild showed a high frequency in development land and the valley while the communities that belong to the hole nesting guild showed a high frequency on the forest road and ridge. The results of Pearson Chi-Square test (${\chi}^2=15.555$, p=0.004) showed that the communities that belong to Bush foraging guild were most frequent in the development area and the community that belong to canopy foraging guild were most frequent inthe valley, the forest road and the ridge. These findings show that different habitat types of Nak-dong Jeongmaek support a great variety of birdlife by providing diverse and excellent resources.

A Study on Value of Geumseonjeong as a Scenic Spot (금선정의 명승적 가치에 관한 연구)

  • The Confucian culture of the Chosun Dynasty has a great effect on the construction of ByeolSeo gardens. Among them, especially the gardens built in Gyeongsang Province areas, where a great number of Confucian scholars were produced in the beautiful natural environment, have maintained various heritage of Confucian culture established by the scholars. Along with the Nakdong River, we can find so many cultural assets of buildings such as head houses, ByeolSeo gardens, including the literary remains such as administrative certificates, poetry and prose, and records of pavilions, which show the trace of the scholars who followed the instructions of the doctrines of Chu-tzu. The Geumseonjeog located in Punggi County, Gyeongsangbuk Province, which was the ByeolSeo gardens possessed by Geumgye Whang Jun-ryang(1517-1563), who was the governor of the area and one of the representative students of Toigye Lee Whang. The building is located nearby the Geumseon Valley with beautiful natural scenery under Sobaek Mountain. Especially the pine forest around the valley boasts a unique natural setting. This study is aimed to analyze the value of natural scenic spot of the Geumseonjeong through the surveys on surroundings, topography, vegetation and water system. including the value of humanistic elements focused on the writings such as 'Geumgyejip' written by Whang Jun-ryang and Lee Whang, another 'Geumgyejip' written by Ryu un-ryong, and 'Geumgyejeongsajungsugi' written by Hong Gyeong-ryeom. And also, the scenic spot value of the signboards such as the 'Geumgyejeongsajungsugi' written by Ryu un-ryong, 'Geumgyejeong' by Lee Han-il, 'Geumgyejeong' written by Jo Un-hyeong and 'Geumgyejeongsa, written by Lee Jung-gi, was analyzed. And the historical and cultural value was analyzed through the semantic interpretation of the series of poetry and pose and the old map established in 1872. In respect of the scenery, the surroundings of the Geumseon Valley boast the outstanding settings as the clean mountain stream in front of the Geumseonjeong makes a beautiful harmony with the pine forest. The pine forest surrounding the Geumseon Valley has played a secret role in the history of the village. Considering the fact that the pine forest was expressed in the map of Punggi County produced in 1872, it may be assumed that the forest was regarded to have historical and scenic value in those times. Considering the fact that the words like 'Beautiful' and 'Scenic spot' were used in the writings like 'Geumgyejip' and there were meeting places around the valley, we can recognize the value of the place as a scenic spot. The beautiful natural scenery surrounding the ByeolSeo gardens, and the increase in humanistic value of the poetry and prose, including the administrative certificates, has recently brought about the cases in which some scenic spots of the ByeolSeo gardens were designated as cultural assets. According to the value as a scenic spot and semantic interpretation of the Geumseonjeong, the pavilion appeared to have a great scenic spot value as a ByeolSeo gardens, so that this study was designed to prepare criteria with which the pavilion may be designated as a scenic spot of ByeolSeo gardens.

Correlation of personal aggression and physiological signal during watching attack images (폭력영상 시청 시 개인의 공격성향과 생체 신호 변화의 상관관계)

  • 본 연구에서는 폭력영상 시청 시 개인의 공격성향에 따른 생체신호(ECG, GSR)의 변화를 분석하였다. 남자 23 명(21.4 세, ${\pm}1.8$ 세)의 피험자의 공격성을 설문지로 측정하였다. 실험은 Rest(15 분), 안정영상 시청(2 분 14 초), 폭력영상 시청(50 초), 안정영상 시청(2 분 14 초)으로 구성되어 있다. 폭력영상은 패싸움·마루타 실험장면을 보여주었으며, 안정영상은 바다·산·계곡 등의 영상을 보여주었다. 폭력영상 시청 시 개인의 공격성향과 ECG 신호 사이의 상관관계는 관찰 할 수 없었으나, GSR 신호와는 음의 상관관계를 관찰 할 수 있었다. 이 결과는 공격성이 높은 사람일수록 폭력영상 시청 시 생체신호 변화가 작을 수 있음을 시사한다.
