Specific results are as follows: First, Unidimensionali test results showed that model fit, reliability and standardized ${\beta}$ value are suitable. Second, the analysis results of goodness-of-fit, items 1, 2, 3 are inadequate, 4, 8, 11, 13, 14 items once found to be over-fit questions. Also, analysis of item difficulty, item 1 has highest difficulty and item 7 was lowest. Third, According Facets item difficulty and response difference verification result, female group exhibited a high level of item difficulty compared to the male group, goodness-of-fit was all accurate. As the result of item difficulty and response difference verification based on Martial arts training flow, there is no response difference according to the training experience. On the other hands, less than 4 years to 5 years and less than 5 years to 6 years trainees represented over-fit features. Results of item difficulty and response difference verification by grade level, first grade was the most highly recognized the item difficulty and fourth grade was also recognized the lowest of item difficulty Fourth, the response category analysis showed that the six points response categories are not appreciate.

  • The study of Security Martial Arts is classified into nine categories; philosophy, history, education, sociology, psychology, physiology, training science, movement dynamics, and guard practice. The study of the theory and practice of Security Martial Arts should be concerned at first, for the development and progress for the future of Martial Arts. First, theoretical research that can be utilized in the real field should be performed, and such research outcomes are needed to be published as teaching materials and to be shared through various channels. Second, collaborative research of the characteristics of martial arts should be carried out. The Security Martial Arts would achieve a further development if training methods are complemented, and strengths and weaknesses of the events are fully understood. Third, studies for the independence of disciplines should be performed. The study field is derived into nine areas, and each is needed to be developed scientifically and systematically. Accompanied by sustainable study, academic autonomy of Security Martial Arts will be achieved.

  • This research analyzed how the new and senior security guards employed privately are influenced on their task performance by the factors operated before task performance: cognitive state anxiety, physical state anxiety and state confidence which are the sub-factors of the Competitive State Anxiety(CSAI-II) according to the educational background, career, gender and athletic capacity. First, as for the new and senior security guards' state anxiety before task performance, the senior guards felt the cognitive anxiety more than the new guards, but there was not a distinct difference statistically. Therefore, it is estimated that there is little difference in the level of cognitive anxiety between the new security guards with insufficient career and the seniors. Second, the level of the physical state anxiety was shown higher from the senior guards than from the new ones and had a distinct difference. However, it seems to be derived from the extent of physical development as the seniors are at the time of vigorous physical development. Third, the level of state anxiety had no distinct difference between them statistically though the new security guards felt it higher than the seniors. Fourth, the state confidence was shown higher from the seniors than from the new and had a distinct difference statistically, also. Fifth, as for gender, the male and female guards did not have a difference so much in the cognitive and physical state anxiety, and state confidence. Sixth, as a whole, the state anxiety was highest as for the security guards with athletic capacity level 1 and 2. Those with the level 2, and 3 and the level above 7 felt it less than those with the level 5-6, which had a distinct difference in statistics. The manager of the new and senior security guards should make them dispel anxiety in piece of mind through physical and mental education encouraging them to have self-confidence, practical training, and psychological training based on the analysis of causes of various cases.

  • The main purpose of this study was to analyze the reaction time of body guards in different stances to provide quantification of data for educational use. There were 4 martial art trained body guards participating in this study. The results of the EMG analysis and reaction time are as follows. The average reaction time of the whole body was $1.38{\pm}0.07$ seconds. In the first phase the reaction to the signal was $0.22{\pm}0.02$ seconds while in the second phase the reaction after checking was $0.62{\pm}0.10$ seconds, which produced the largest impulse. the reaction times of the third and fourth phase were gradually reduced, $0.29{\pm}0.02$ seconds and $0.26{\pm}0.02$ seconds consecutively. In the body guard posture the following muscles had a high activity level; phase one the right and left of the tibialis anterior muscle, phase two the right and left of the tibialis anterior muscle and the right of the gastrocnemius, phase three the right side of the tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius, phase four the left and right of the biceps femoris and the right side of the rectus femoris. In the first and second phase the shank muscles were used a lot, whereas in the third and fourth phase the shank and thigh muscles were used a lot showing the overall muscle activation of the lower limbs.

  • This study aims to analyze kinematic variables regarding lateral break-fall quantitatively that can protect the body, prevent the injury and minimize the impact. To this end, three Hapkido, judo athletes of H University with experience of over 5 years were selected. Test was conducted through three dimensional image analysis by checking the time and order the subjects reach a mat. In this study, lateral break-fall was repeated five times and among them, the best movement was selected. The picture shot with high-speed camera was analyzed by using KWON3D ver. 3.1 program through three dimensional coordinate calculation based on DLT method and smoothing process of data. Study results were as follows. 1. With respect to time variables shown in lateral break-fall of A, B, C athletes, there is small difference in temporal variables and in the order the body reaches a mat. With respect to average value, hand is ($0.94{\pm}0.20$), elbow ($0.97{\pm}0.17$), hip ($0.97{\pm}0.18$), back ($0.98{\pm}0.18$), and shoulder ($1.04{\pm}0.16$). Time variable the body reaches a mat in lateral break-fall is in hand, elbow, hip, back and shoulder. 2. With respect to moving distance variables shown in lateral break-fall of A, B, C athletes, hand is ($34.33{\pm}34.59$), elbow ($52.00{\pm}26.06$), hip ($70.00{\pm}15.72$), back ($153.67{\pm}17.93$), and should ($130.67{\pm}29.02$). The fact that this study contributed to improving security martial arts technique and protecting the body by understanding the principle of lateral break-fall movement is of significance. In addition, the fact that this study provided systematic basic data for improving security martial arts technique is significant.
