Korea has been suffering from financial hardship with low birth rate and rapid growing of advanced aged people because low economic growth and low interest rate have continued after IMF foreign-exchange crisis. Under these circumstances, it is necessary for the middle-aged people to have well-prepared retirement plan in the sense of physical, psychological, social and economical preparedness. The study intends to find out how the occupation and activity characteristics affect the physical, psychological, social and economical preparation for their remaining old age. For the purpose, questionnaires were collected from 344 middle-aged people working in private companies, public offices and small-business owners in metropolitan and Chungcheong province. The findings are as follows: First, they were physically well-prepared, as they thought their leisure activity was more important, their occupational role was more stable and they were old and healthy. Second, Women had notion about their occupation if they kept a good relationship with their colleagues. And they were psychologically prepared well as they valued their leisure activities. Third, if they perceived their occupations as stable and had more social and leisure activities, they were socially well-prepared. Fourth, Although the level of economical preparation depends on their wealth, the occupation and activity characteristics had no effect on the economical preparation. These findings imply that the retirement preparation as a recent social issue has been influenced by the nature of occupation and activity and suggest that the definite policy and program will be required for the retirement preparation of the middle-aged people from various aspects.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of individual differences in recognition of retirement responsibility on financial preparedness for retirement and to examine moderating effect of income-level on the relationships between the two variables, using the 7th Korean Retirement and Income Study(KReIS). Two research methods, descriptive analysis and hierarchical multiple logistic regression(HMLR) analysis, have been conducted. The total number of sample was 3,869 subjects with an average age of 58.9 years and 55.3% males. The results show that only 35.8% of the respondents make financial plans for retirement, and 64.2% did not. Main findings are as follows. First, 65% of respondents take a responsibility for financial preparedness for retirement, compared to 37% in European countries. Second, people with responsibility for their own retirement are more likely to have a financial preparation for retirement than people who think others(family, society, government) have to take a responsibility for retirement instead of them. Third, there is a significant moderating effect of income-level on relationships between recognition of retirement responsibility and financial preparedness for retirement. As income level decreases, the moderating effect reduces the positive effect of recognition of retirement responsibility on financial preparedness for retirement and vice versa. Fourth, as income level increases and educational level is higher, the tendency to prepare financially for retirement is also increasing. Low-income and low-educated people are less likely to have a financial preparation for retirement than their counterparts. The findings suggest that it is necessary to design an effective incentive scheme for financial preparedness for retirement for low-income and low-educated people and to develop various policies and services to encourage them to prepare financially for retirement.

본 연구는 여성들의 경제활동의욕에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구로 여성들의 경제활동의욕과 창업의도에 대한 영향요인들을 실증적으로 분석하여 영향관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 독립변수로는 심리적특성과 준비도, 동기, 업무경험, 네트워크 역량, 차별인식, 일에대한 인식. 지원 제도, 재산상태 인식, 가족지지로 하였고, 종속변수로는 경제활동 의욕과 창업의도로 설정하였다. 여성의 경제활동 의욕과 관련하여 선행연구 및 정책적 자료들에 대한 문헌연구를 통해 이론적인 개념을 정립하고 연구모형을 설정하였다. 선택된 연구의 변수들인 심리적특성과 준비도, 동기, 업무경험, 차별인식, 지원제도등 경제활동 의욕과 창업의도들 간의 관계를 실증분석하고, 이를 토대로 의미 있는 이론적 및 정책적 시사점들을 제시하고자 한다.

This study was carried out in order to seek social support direction by allowing them to recognize necessity of preparing for their stably old age life and by inquiring into the preparation for old age life targeting dental hygienists who work at dental clinics. It sent questionnaire by post to dental hygienists of 1,560 dental clinics, which were sampled with a stratified sampling method, and then conducted a cross-sectional study based on self-administration. As a result of a problem of being worried in old age life, the ratio with the response as saying of being 'economy' was indicated to be the highest. The ratio of financial preparation for old age was shown to be high with 84.3%. Its method was the highest in 'fixed deposit and installment savings' with 62.6%. The satisfaction with financial preparation for old age stood at averagely 2.60, thereby having shown to be dissatisfied. It was shown to be low with 2.97 in the mean score of physical preparation for old age life, 3.59 in emotional preparation, and 2.56 in preparation for leisure. In conclusion, the satisfaction with financial preparation for old age life in our country's dental hygienists was low. Even the physical, emotional, and leisure-based preparations were shown to be low. Hence, it is considered to be likely needed to be planned preparation for old age life from the 30s. Also, for this, Korean Dental Hygienists Association needs to positively develop several kinds of programs such as education, policy and system for old age life following these people's retirement.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the general concept and preparation process for successful aging. At the same time another object is to find out factors which were affecting influences on the preparations for the old age and analyze the relationships between the factors and preparation for old age. 280 questionnaires were distributed to over 40 years-old workers working in Banwol and Siwha industrial complex in Kyeonggi-do. Using 261 questionnaires, frequency analysis, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis, etc were executed with SPSS 18.0 to fulfill the purposes. Findings of the study are as follows. First, health condition had a positive effect on the general preparation for old age, but age, educational career, monthly income, religion and the number of children had partially positive effects. Second, job satisfaction had a positive effect on physical and economical preparation for old age, but job commitment had a positive effect on economical preparation only. Third, Age, educational career, spouse, religion, health condition and the number of children showed different effects on those preparations.

This research was conducted to explore the influences and factors that are related to the preparation for successful aging life after retirement of Koreans living in Philippine. The subject of survey is the generation of baby-booming(born from 1955-1963) and it was done from June 1 to August 15 in 2011. 150 survey questionnaire sheets were distributed and 126 answered sheets returned. Among them 105 that are to be recognized were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. The purpose of this research and the survey is to provide basic sources and information for setting up policies and programs of aged life of the generation. The survey shows that the answers are in comparatively good financial level including average level of physical readiness and mental stability. Relative impacts are also strong in mental attitude and emotional preparation.

This study examined the aging of people with severe disabilities experiencing relative alienation and deprivation in an aging society to find ways to make them happy and economically stable. This study identified the determinants of economic preparation for aging among people with severe disabilities using the ecosystem perspective. For this study, data were drawn from Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (PSED). A total of 950 samples were used from the eighth wave. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine the influence of various factors. As a result, age, level of education, employment, subjective socioeconomic status, self-esteem, income, homeowner, and non-beneficiaries affected the economic preparation for aging. These findings have practical and political implications concerned with improving the economic preparations for aging among people with severe disabilities.

The present study identified the factors of economic retirement preparation for people living with disabilities using the Andersen's behavioral model. The 2012 Disabled Employment Panel Survey data were collected from May 21, 2012 to July 31, 2012 and were analyzed by applying the SPSS 20 program. Logistic regression analysis was carried out on a sample of 2,869 people aged 30 to 60 years. The predisposing factors (education, marital status), possibility factors (employment, non-basic livelihood security recipient status, homeowner status, income), and desire factors (subjective socioeconomic status, life satisfaction, self-esteem) affected the retirement preparation. To help people living with disabilities, policies and programs based on the factors that reflect the individual needs must be established.

최근 급격히 증가하는 노인들과 정신적 휴식이 필요한 도시인들의 신체적·정신적 건강과 안녕감을 유지하기 위한 방법으로써 치유농업에 관한 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 치유농업 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 변인고찰을 위하여 노후준비도, 치유농업 공급조건, 치유농업 제공서비스를 독립변수로 정하여 연구하였다. 본 연구를 위해서 서울, 경기 일부지역의 30세 이상 성인 남녀를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 최종 356부를 분석대상으로 확정하였다. 연구가설의 검증은 선형회기분석을 통하여 검증하였고, 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노후준비도의 신체적 준비와 정서적 준비, 그리고 경제적 준비는 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 치유농업 공급조건의 자연경관,, 접근성, 안전성은 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 그러나 경제성과 전문성은 기각되었다. 셋째, 치유농업 제공서비스의 농작물 재배, 동물매개, 치유시설은 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 연구를 통해 치유농업 이용의도를 높이기 위해서는 소비자의 노후준비가 잘되어 있어야 하며, 치유농업 공급조건에서는 접근성과 안전성이, 치유농업 제공서비스에서는 치유시설이 잘 갖춰져야 치유농업을 이용하려는 소비자의 이용의도를 높일 수 있다는 결론을 도출하였다.

본 연구는 노인의 삶의 질 향상에 대한 관심으로부터 출발하여 인구의 고령화에 따라 늘어난 노후에 대한 준비로 삶의 만족도 수준을 높이는 것을 궁극적인 목표로 삼았다. 이를 위해 노후준비의 하위 유형을 신체적 노후준비, 경제적 노후준비, 정서 사회적 노후준비로 구성하여 이를 다중 독립변인으로 설정하였다. 또한 사회적 지지를 매개변인, 삶의 만족도를 종속변인으로 하여 각 변인 간 구조적 관계를 밝히고, 노후준비의 하위 유형과 삶의 만족도 간 사회적 지지가 매개효과를 갖는지 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 국민노후보장패널(Korean Retirement and Income Study: KReIS) 3차 및 5차 부가조사 자료로부터 추출한 65세 이상의 노인 4,058명이다. 자료 분석을 위해서는 SPSS 25.0과 SPSS PROCESS macro v2.16을 활용하였다. 연구결과 노후준비의 하위 유형 중 정서 사회적 노후준비는 삶의 만족도에 유의미한 직접효과를 발생시켰을 뿐만 아니라, 사회적 지지의 매개를 통해서도 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 결과를 보였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 노인의 삶의 만족도를 달성하는 데 중요한 변수인 정서 사회적 노후준비와 사회적 지지 제고를 위한 사회복지 정책 및 실천적 방안을 제언하였다.
