  • The highest percentage of single-person households is older than 60. Many of them live in dilapidated residential space because they are in difficult economic situations. The windows of them often don't exist or don't function properly as windows. As a result, they are suffering from social problems such as depression, solitude. This paper proposes an interactive window interface that reflects external environmental information for older people in their 60s or older of one household living in a dilapidated residential space. This content utilizes an inexpensive TV or PC monitor that doesn't require extra space and cost. Recognizing a user's hand through intuitive touch-sensing technology, which doesn't require much help from older people, this content provides weather videos and temperature information that reflect current external environment. Alert notification sound and SMS service are provided in preparation for more critical user emergencies. This content enables users to feel emotional stability and respond quickly to emergencies.

  • we explored the case of 'H-Community', a private organization that supports alcohol-dependent homeless people living in the Jokbang village, based on the awareness that "the key to social assistance for alcohol-dependent homeless may be an influential relationship to replace the role of their families." The data collection and analysis followed the research that Spradley presented, and the result was 'living in the balance rather than the great affection'. However, the density of the relationship and emotional bond appeared different, which had something to do with their respective life processes and their health, age and economic conditions. These differences were categorized and suggested as arguments through 'a family-alternative relationship', 'emotional bond' and 'participation'. Based on the results, the conclusions presented the implications needed for alcohol-dependent homeless people.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between female nurse and male nurse in female nurse by applying the phenomenological method of Colaizzi which is one of the qualitative research methodology and to analyze the difference between female nurse and male nurse. What is the difference between a male nurse and a female nurse perceived by a female nurse? This study investigated the differences between female nurses and male nurses with research problems. The participants in this study were 13 female nurses who agreed to participate in the study after explaining and understanding the purpose of the study. The recruitment of the subjects was applied by the snowball method. As a result of this study, five categories were found. The categories were different in clinical tasks, the burden of family economic life, differences in interpersonal relationships, differences in nursing organization, and differences in unknown areas. The results of this study can be used as teaching materials and research data to expand the understanding of difference between male nurse and female nurse.

  • To reduce the environmental load of the construction industry, there is a need to minimize construction and demolition by strengthening the eco-friendliness of building materials and extending the durable lifespan. Therefore, while many Hanok roof finishing methods have been proposed to address these problems, the current trend is to use the existing method due to issues such as economic feasibility, weight, and durability. The manufacturing method of clay roof tiles used as roofing materials for Hanok buildings is optimized by using a mixture of 64.5% Gyeongju clay, 15.0% kaolin, 15.0% FNS(Ferro Nickel Slag), and 5.5% MAS(Magnesia Aluminum Silicate) under optimal conditions. The results of the experiment involving firing at 1,125℃ showed that flexural strength of 12,102N, which is higher than the standard of KS F 3510, an absorption rate of 6.08%, a volume specific gravity of 2.15g/cm3, and the freeze-thaw properties were satisfied. A method for securing stable quality was studied.

  • Industrial complexes have have been played an important role in various aspects such as national industrial development, economic growth. However, it is a cluster of manufacturing facilities which has a great impact on the surrounding area and the overall domestic environment during the operation of the facility. In this study, environmental influences and siting characteristics of industrial complexes were investigated based on the environmental impact assessment report from 2009 to 2019. The development tendency of industrial complexes is continuous decline, and major development areas are Gyeonggi, Gyeongsang and Chungcheong areas. We also confirmed that the average area of defenestration due to industrial complex is on the decline. Furthermore, the residential area and educational facilities, and the exposed population affected by industrial complex is constantly increased.

  • As Global value chain(GVC) is deepening, the importance of intermediated good trade is growing in international trade issues. Such facts lead to much discussions about the relation between Global Outsourcing and pollution. This study analyzed the effect of Global outsourcing on Environment using the data including 21 industries for 2004-14. $CO_2$ intensity is used as a proxy for the environment variable and to measure Global outsourcing and I employed the method suggested by Feenstra and Hanson(1999), Amiti and Wei(2006). To examine the effect Global outsourcing on the Environment more precisely, this paper controlled the factors that can affect the environment level on the basis of the theory suggested by Copeland and Taylor(1994). In the methodology, System GMM is employed to solve endogenous problem. The results show that for overall industries, Global outsourcing effect cannot be identified and for polluting industries, the result is identical. However, Global outsourcing has a negative effect on the pollution level for China and developing countries. In other words, as Global outsourcing is increasing, the national pollution level is decreasing.

  • While it is often assumed that a country's trade balance will improve in the long-run if its currency is allowed to depreciate, this is not necessarily the case for specific industry. This paper is to examine the long-run relationships between trade balance and real exchange rate using bilateral data of SITC 10 Industry Classification for Korea vis-${\grave{a}}$-vis her trading partners Indonesia, India, China, Japan on a quarterly basis over the period of 1999Q1 to 2008Q4. I applied the recent panel cointegration technique to reduce the small sample problems and improving power performance of the relevant estimation and inference procedures. The results reveal evidence of the Marshall-Lerner Condition in Indonesia 2 industries, India 5 industries, Japanese 4 industries, Chinese 6 industries. Whole group's cointegration statistic of India, China, Japan was supported Marshall-Lerner Condition but Indonesia was rejected.

  • In this study, death preparation was used as an independent variable, with ego integrity as successful aging used as a dependent variable while depression and death anxiety were used as mediate variables. The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of the study variables according to the demographic characteristics of the research subjects, and to create a database for developing and improving current educational programs and welfare services to help the elderly achieve successful aging. Two hundred and eighty three elderly people above the age of sixty in Cheongju city were given standardized questionnaires, and the collected data were analyzed. The results of this study are the following. First, the differences of the study variables according to the level of education, health, economy, and social involvement of the elderly are statistically significant. Second, there exists a positive relationship between mental preparation for death and ego integrity (successful aging) while there is no such relation in case of formal preparation for death and ego integrity. Third, depression and death anxiety of the elderly partially mediate ego integrity, which leads to successful aging.
