A research on education model in design service sector (디자인서비스 분야의 교육모델 연구)

  • Design sector, one of the key factors defining national competitiveness and one of the creative industry, needs multi-functional and differentiated designers as its structure has changed to knowledge-intensive industry. Design sector is now following the trend of social change through frequent exchanges and joint researches with other sectors. However, education for human resource nurturing in the sector falls far short of social demand for change. As the industry still focuses on educating modeling issue handlers, the problems of excessive supply of human resources in particular sector and imbalance of supply and demand of human resources are adding extra difficulties to the already competitive designer employment market. Against this backdrop, this study recognized that design service sector, which began to be established as a new industry sector, has potential of becoming one of the new domains of movement for designers, explained the necessity of education in the field, and specified practical contents of design work. Also, It analyzed work contents of design service sector, classified them into each stage, and presented them to use in design professional nurturing education.

A Cost-Based Interior Information Management for an Apartment Housing Project (원가기반의 공동주택 마감재 정보관리 방안 연구)

  • Korea's construction industry experienced no difficulty managing the costs of finishing work items in the apartment housing field thanks to the uniform specification and the standardized costs of finishing work items. Finishing work items have continuously become more high class and differentiated, which has caused the costs of finishing work items to rise. This study identified problems with the cost management when planning finishing work items and choosing their alternatives based on the current process applied to the planning stage of finishing work items. It also found problems with the information management of finishing work items including design, cost, and work information that took place in bulk. Based on the identified problems, the design, cost and work information of finishing work items was integrated so that they could management the costs and information when planning finishing work items and selecting their alternatives. Then a cost-based information management process was suggested for finishing work items by improving each of the project cost management elements. Finally, an information model for finishing work items was built by studying the ways to integrate the information hierarchy and library of finishing work items.

The Reconsidering of the Western based Development Discourse and the Future of Postdevelopment as Sustainable Development (서구 중심적 개발담론의 재해석과 지속가능한 개발로서 포스트개발의 미래)

  • The purpose of this research is to reveal the problems of the Western based development discourse, and to derive the future direction of postdevelopment as sustainable development. This study attempted to reveal the historical process of formation and change on development discourse. Development generally regarded as the overcome of underdevelopment, inducing the marginalization of the South as a place to follow the development model of the North. State based development discourse (Keynesian development discourse) focused on the growth by industrialization, and the supreme aim of the South was to overcome the underdevelopment. Neoliberalism development discourse emphasized on the market principle based on free competition which was recognized as the best way to provide development. However, neoliberalism discourse has been criticized for the concentration of power and inequality of class, causing on the consideration of postdevelopment because of its emphasis on growth rather than distribution and life value. This research revealed the ways of postdevelopment with fair trade and ethical consumption. However, fair trade and ethical consumption discourses clearly show somewhat limitation subsuming into neoliberal development discourse. In this respect, future ways for postdevelopment have to consider the overcoming of powers based on market and capital, and to orient into the value of redistribution in development process.

  • This study investigates a comprehensive context between the vertical integration and concentration of Korean film market. The concentration of distribution and screening markets are result of industrial strategy to defend demand uncertainty and to pursue economies of scale. Major distributors are increasingly inclined to defend industrial risk by concentrating resources on blockbusters and bargaining power of the multiplex is getting strengthened by distribution competition to secure as many screens as possible. Vertically integrated multiplexes operate discriminatory preferential treatment to their affiliates, however, there is a difference in degree of discrimination between vertically integrated groups. Furthermore, it is difficult to exclude each other from the distribution competition in which the largest screen number has to be secured. It is difficult for multiplex only to pursue the interests of affiliates and make negative choices in screening performance. As the number of screening screens increases, the seat occupancy also increases. As a result, the polarization of the distribution and screening markets, including the screen monopoly, is a phenomenon that occurs commercial films centered markets and the unfair behavior of the vertically affiliated multiplex has a limited effect on the movie market.

  • 제 4차 산업혁명의 시대를 맞아 ICT 융합 차세대 물관리 시스템 관련 기술이 핵심적인 역할을 수행하게 될 것으로 예상되며, 이와 함께 다국적 기업의 시장 진출로 인한 경쟁심화가 예상되고 있다. 한편, 인구증가, 도시성장, 산업발전 및 기후변화에 따른 물부족, 물 수요와 물 공급의 불균형, 수질오염 등은 점점 더 심각해질 것으로 예상되고 있다. 또한, 수자원 산업에서 대상시설의 안전하고 경제적인 운영 및 유지관리를 목적으로 하는 운전, 감시, 진단, 보수, 개선 및 이를 위한 의사결정지원 기술인 운영관리(O&M, Operation and Maintenance) 기술의 중요성이 지속적으로 증가하는 추세이다. 스마트워터그리드(SWG)는 ICT 융복합 첨단 수자원 관리기술로 기후변화에 의한 물 부족과 수자원 인프라 노후화로 인한 효율저하 등 물 문제 해결을 위한 차세대 플랫폼으로 주목받고 있으나, 아직까지 스마트워터그리드 시스템 구축을 위한 장치, 부품, 공정, 설계, 시공 기술 등 주로 요소기술 확보를 목적으로 연구되었으며, 시설의 운영 및 유지관리 연구는 거의 진행되지 않아 효율적인 현장적용이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 스마트워터그리드 데모플랜트 시설을 대상으로 운영 유지관리 기술의 고도화 기본방향, 세부 핵심기술, 추진방법 등을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 스마트워터그리드의 핵심기술인 AMI 기반 수운영 시스템을 대상으로 IoT 기반의 고효율 저비용 물 공급 체계 고도화 및 지능형 통합 운영 플랫폼 구축, Hybrid형 다중수원 활용 이동식 물 생산 시스템에 대한 운전제어 자가진단 운영관리 유지보수기술 등 원격 무인 자동화 물 생산시설 기술 고도화 개발방안에 대하여 중점적으로 다루고자 한다.

A Study on the Improvement of Inter-Terminal Transportation Using Buffer Space (완충지역을 활용한 타부두 환적 컨테이너 운송 개선 방안)

  • Competition between ports around the world is intensifying to attract transshipment cargo. However, recently, there have been concerns about the departure of transshipment cargo volume at Busan Port, such as the lifting of the cabotage policy in China's shipping sector and the implementation of a safe fare system. In terms of operation, terminal congestion and vehicle waiting time are seriously occurring due to imbalance in the transshipment volume of each terminal and vehicles concentrated in a specific time period. In this paper, we propose a method of inter-terminal transportation (ITT) using buffer space to solve the problem caused by inefficient ITT systems and presented a mixed integer programming (MIP) for the problem. The effect of using the buffer space was analyzed for various work volumes and capacity fluctuation ranges by applying the terminal congestion pattern and ITT vehicle in/out pattern based on the Busan New Port data.

Improvement of early prediction performance of under-performing students using anomaly data (이상 데이터를 활용한 성과부진학생의 조기예측성능 향상)

  • As competition between universities intensifies due to the recent decrease in the number of students, it is recognized as an essential task of universities to predict students who are underperforming at an early stage and to make various efforts to prevent dropouts. For this, a high-performance model that accurately predicts student performance is essential. This paper proposes a method to improve prediction performance by removing or amplifying abnormal data in a classification prediction model for identifying underperforming students. Existing anomaly data processing methods have mainly focused on deleting or ignoring data, but this paper presents a criterion to distinguish noise from change indicators, and contributes to improving the performance of predictive models by deleting or amplifying data. In an experiment using open learning performance data for verification of the proposed method, we found a number of cases in which the proposed method can improve classification performance compared to the existing method.

A Study on the Export Performance Factors of Korean Steel Products to the EU and the Expected Changes in Exports Following the Implementation of CBAM (한국 철강 제품의 EU 수출 성과 요인과 CBAM에 따른 수출 변화 예상에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to estimate the export performance factors of Korean Steel Products to the EU and the expected changes in exports according to the CBAM(Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism). the factors influencing the export performance of Korean Steel Products to the EU were analyzed using a Gravity Model, and the expected export amount in the case of a Carbon Tax was calculated assuming that the CBAM would be implemented in 2026, As a result, it was empirically analyzed that economic growth, population growth, exchange rate and manufacturing production index of each EU country have a positive effect on exports in Korea, and it was analyzed that the effects of the single market and system due to the EU's economic community were also helpful in increasing exports but the Carbon Tax is imposed in 2026, reducing Korea's steel exports by about -3.6% to -5.7%

Determining Priority of Transport Policies with a Focus on Data Envelopment Analysis with Ranked Voting Data (자료포락분석(DEA)을 이용한 교통정책 우선순위 설정에 관한 연구)

  • The Transport policies in Korea have been planned and implemented as a part of a larger economy policy based on the achievement of economic growth. As a result, previous transport policies have been focused mostly on the supply of transport infrastructure. The average annual economic growth of six percent and a twelve percent growth in motor vehicles until the late 90s led to the acceleration of the imbalance between the supply and demand of infrastructure. As such, there is a need to establish an innovative transportation policy in order to increase national competitiveness and provide momentum for national growth in the Twenty one century. This research has developed strategies and policies based on interviews that were carried out with specialists in transport field. Moreover, some transport policies have been established for the year 2020 through the conducting of a survey. The survey was conducted by interviewing respondents on making the priority of transport policies. which was then analyzed using the Data Envelopment Analysis with ranked voting data. The results are as follows. The most urgent matter was considered to be the development of a inter-modal transport system, followed by an integrated service system for public transport, and the need to increase the competitiveness of the transport and logistics industries and to further transport safety. Meanwhile, the provision of transportation for disabled people as well as the elderly was considered to be less important in Korea than in welfare nations. This stems from the belief as further attention needs to be paid to the construction of a public transport system, the establishment of transportation networks construction in preparation for reunification and the North-East Asian era, as well as the privatization of the transport infrastructure.

Medical Accessibility Analysis by Optical Store and Ophthalmic Clinic Distribution (Centering on Special and Metropolitan Cities) (안경원과 안과의원 분포에 따른 의료접근도 분석 (특별시와 광역시 중심으로))

  • Purpose: This study investigated medical accessibility on optical stores and ophthalmic clinics of Seoul Special City and six other metropolitan cities. Methods: By using a number of households, population, optician stores, ophthalmic hospitals, and real estate (apartments) standard market price of Seoul Special City and six other metropolitan cities provided by the Commercial District Information System (2016.6) of Small Enterprise & Market Authority, we analyzed the level of healthcare accessibility and business area zones, Statistical analyses were performed with SPSS 18.0. Results: Inchon (household 2,227/population 5,723) had the highest household and population rate per optical store, and Gwangju (1,146/2,979) had the lowest. Gwangju (24,612/63,987) had the highest household and population rate per optical store, and Seoul (10,021/24,432) had the lowest. From the consumer and patient's point of view, lower household rate per optical store is a city with good accessibility to healthcare, but from an optical store and ophthalmic clinic's view, it will have great difficulty due to issues of competition. Conclusions: Consumers and patients should be the center of healthcare. A healthcare system that can provide smooth service anywhere anytime should be constructed. However, most metropolitan cities, including Seoul, have optical stores and ophthalmic clinics densely populated where profitability and liquidity are ensured and causing unbalanced distribution of healthcare. To solve such problems, we need proper distribution of optician stores according to the population proportion and industrial-educational research to find balance point of local healthcare.
