The Development of Teaching and Learning Model in Physical Education and Competitive Activities Using Flipped Learning (플립러닝을 활용한 체육과 경쟁활동 교수학습 모형개발)

  • This study was conducted for the purpose of developing a flipped learning teaching and learning model for physical education and competitive activities and confirming the validity of the model. We used the model research method as a research method to achieve the purpose of this study. First, we developed a flipped learning model for physical education and competitive activities through model development research, and then confirmed the validity of the model through model validation research. Based on the teaching and learning model developed through this study, students can change from passive learners to active learners in physical education classes, and it is expected that they can achieve class goals based on interactions between learners different from existing physical education classes through cooperative activities.

  • 본 논문에서는 Bayesian 결정 이론을 이용한 기존의 Radial Basis Function Networks 이되는 출력층에서 선형 조합되는 것과는 다른 형태의 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안하고자 하는 방법은 은닉층의 출력값과 가중치와의 곱해진 값이 출력층의 입력으로 들어오는데 이들 입력신호를 경쟁을 통하여 가장 큰 값만을 출력신호 인정하는 방법이다. 이런 경우에 파라미터 갱신을 할 때도 모든 가중치를 다 갱신하는 것이 아니라 출력되는 은닉층에 연결된 가중치만을 갱신하게된다. 이렇게 할 경우 계산량 감소뿐만 아니라 학습시간을 단축할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그리고 제안한 방법을 이용할 경우 비선형 분류문제에서도 우수한 성능결과를 확인 할 수 있었으며 기존의 RBFN rhk Wiener Filter와 성능을 비교하였다.

  • Some Research is actively being done on a web-based collaborative learning system. This is changes in educational paradigm in the knowledge information age. A web-based collaborative learning system for question making is to improve the effect of studying through positive interactions between colleagues and to motivate studying through group competitions. This system is designed to active and self-leading studying when a learner do collaborative learning for question making in group. This system can help initiate and active studying to learner through a course of collaborative learning for question making. It can be used to achieve collaborative learning in various ways.

A Learning-Flow Model Supporting Distributed Cognition in IT Education (IT교육에서 분산인지를 지원하는 학습몰입모형)

  • This paper presents a new learning model, "BoX(Battle of X)", which is based on a concept from the culture of B-Boys who enjoy the race of "distributed cognition" to win in their contests. The "battle" means a contest and "X" means a course to which our learning model can be applied. The goal of this paper is to present a learning model that allow students to be in a state of learning-flow and provides them with the ability of creative problem solving simultaneously. The key of the "BoX" implementation is to design a principle that controls contests between students to maximize distributed cognitive activities for reducing individual's cognitive load. This paper also presents how-to of "BoX" implementation and its effects. Through the analysis on learning achievement of students during one year course of IT education, we have confirmed that the "BoX" model provides students with higher learning achievement and learning-flow level in comparison with traditional learning model.

Competition Relation Extraction based on Combining Machine Learning and Filtering (기계학습 및 필터링 방법을 결합한 경쟁관계 인식)

  • This study was directed at the design of a hybrid algorithm for competition relation extraction. Previous works on relation extraction have relied on various lexical and deep parsing indicators and mostly utilize only the machine learning method. We present a new algorithm integrating machine learning with various filtering methods. Some simple but useful features for competition relation extraction are also introduced, and an optimum feature set is proposed. The goal of this paper was to increase the precision of competition relation extraction by combining supervised learning with various filtering methods. Filtering methods were employed for classifying compete relation occurrence, using distance restriction for the filtering of feature pairs, and classifying whether or not the candidate entity pair is spam. For evaluation, a test set consisting of 2,565 sentences was examined. The proposed method was compared with the rule-based method and general relation extraction method. As a result, the rule-based method achieved positive precision of 0.812 and accuracy of 0.568, while the general relation extraction method achieved 0.612 and 0.563, respectively. The proposed system obtained positive precision of 0.922 and accuracy of 0.713. These results demonstrate that the developed method is effective for competition relation extraction.

The Relationship between the Creativity and Motivation of Scientifically Gifted Students (과학영재아동의 창의성과 동기와의 관계 -전라북도 과학영재교육원 영재아동을 대상으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship creativity and motivation. The subjects were 297 gifted students, selected in the examination for entrance to the Science Education Institute for the Gifted located Jeonbuk. To compare the gifted students' creativity and motivation with the normal students', this study used the standardized test, the Creativity Inventory for Students(by Choi & Lee, 2004) and Multi-Dimensional Learning Strategy Test(by Park, 2006). The major results of this study were as follows; First, The gifted students group was high group in the creativity, and especially the gifted girls were significantly higher than the gifted boys. Second, learning motivation of the gifted students were high or than the normal students and the gifted students were inclined to cope actively to challenge situation rather than avoid. Third, The Creativity showed the positive relationship with learning motivation, the negative relationship with avoid motivation, and moderate relationship with competitive motivation. This result suggested that it is very important to encourage gifted students to the intrinsic motivation rather than extrinsic motivation like competition or achievement in education.

  • A new image compression method to preserve edge characteristics in reconstructed images using an unsupervised learning neural is proposed in this paper. By the unsupervised competitive learning which generalizes previously proposed Centroid Neural Network(CNN) algorithm with the geometric characteristics of edge area and statistical characteristics of image data, more codevectors are allocated in the edge areas to provide the more accurate edges in reconstructed image. Experimental results show that the proposed method gives improved edge in reconstructed images when compared with SOM, Modified SOM and M/R-CNN.

  • 본 논문에서는 BP(Back Propagation)에 비해서 빠른 학습시간과 다른 경쟁학습 신경회로망 알고리즘에 비해서 비교적 우수한 성능으로 패턴인식 등에 많이 이용되고 있는 LVQ(Learning Vector Quantization) 알고리즘의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 방법을 논의하고자 한다. 일반적으로 LVQ는 음(negative)의 학습을 하기 때문에 초기 가중치가 제대로 설정되지 않으면 발산할 수 있다는 단점이 있으며, 경쟁학습 계열의 신경망이기 때문에 출력 층의 뉴런 수에 따라 성능에 큰 영향을 받는다고 알려져 있다.[1]. 지도학습 형태를 지닌 LVQ의 경우에 학습패턴이 n개의 클래스를 가지고, 각 클래스 별로 학습패턴의 수가 같은 경우에 일반적으로 전체 출력뉴런에 대해서 (출력뉴런수/n)개의 뉴런을 각 클래스의 목표(desired) 클러스터로 할당하여 학습을 수행하는데, 본 논문에서는 각 클래스에 동일한 수의 출력뉴런을 할당하지 않고, 학습데이터에서 각 클래스의 분산을 추정하여 각 클래스의 분산을 추정분산에 비례하게 목표 출력뉴런을 할당하고, 초기 가중치도 추정분산에 비례하게 각 클래스의 초기 임의 위치 입력백터를 사용하여 학습을 수행하는 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 분류하고자 하는 데이터에 대해서 필요한 최적의 출력뉴런 수를 찾는 것이 아니라 이미 결정되어 있는 출력뉴런 수에 대해서 각 클래스에 할당할 출력 뉴런 수를 데이터의 추정분산에 의해서 결정하는 것으로, 추정분산이 크면 상대적으로 많은 출력 뉴런을 할당하고 작으면 상대적으로 적은 출력뉴런을 할당하고 초기 가중치도 마찬가지 방법으로 결정하며, 이렇게 하면 정해진 출력뉴런 개수 안에서 각 클래스 별로 분류의 어려움에 따라서 출력뉴런을 할당하기 때문에 미학습 뉴런이 줄어들게 되어 성능의 향상을 기대할 수 있으며, 실험적으로 제안된 방법이 더 나은 성능을 보임을 확인했다.initially they expected a more practical program about planting than programs that teach community design.   • The study investigated how did Credu pioneer Korean e-Learning market and reinforce their core competencies and how did they promote business diversification analyzing type of learning motives and examining Credu real cases. Under the fierce competition in the current e-Learning market, Credu has maintained their core competencies and strengthened an active communication channels with customers with focusing on investment to core businesses. Credu has introduced more adventurous and challenging products and services with creating a new model for the types of learning motives. This study could introduce the new perspective about the type of learning motives in e-Learning area. Also, the case study of successful e-Learning company, Credu, could contribute to make more spread e-Learning market techniques in this field in practice.
