  • Standardization is essential strategic tool for a firm to preoccupy a market in the telecommunication industry. WTO TBT(Technical Barriers to Trade) makes importance of standardization greater in telecommunication industry. Therefore countries, not to speak of firms, recognize standards essential strategy to preoccupy markets. In this paper, we will analyze the patterns and study the case on standardization competition in the field of telecommunications.

  • In spite of the variety of business environments around start-up firms, almost all existing studies on business strategy of new IT firms. The purpose of the present research is to examine the relationships of the corporate capability, competitive advantage and performance of IT enterprise. There was much research for IT enterprise in other lands, but there was a little in Korea. Through previous literature, we can't find differences between IT enterprise strategies and common corporation strategies. So this research treats new strategies of IT. This research is explanatory and three research questions. This research focuses on the determining factors(corporate capability, competitive advantage) and management performance of IT enterprise in Busan area. In order to test the established 3 hypothesis, several multi-variate analyses are used. Factor analysis is used to reduce the competitive advantage question to its underlying factors. Finally, multi-variate regression and analysis is used to determine whether performance differences The result of this study would be useful to practitioners on management and entrepreneurship. Finally, this study is expected to encourage entrepreneurs to create new possibility in IT enterprise and to assist more new operating business strategy.

  • 1990년대 후반부터 Internet은 지식 정보 사회의 핵심 기반으로 급부상하면서 산업의 전 분야에 걸쳐 영향을 미치게 되었다. 이에 본고에서는 인터넷의 특성에 기인하는 여러 가지 현상들을 경쟁우위 변수를 선정하고 설문 조사를 통해 요인분석과 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)의 쌍비교법을 이용하여 모델별 경쟁우위요소들의 우선순위를 도출하였다.

  • IEEE 802.11 DCF(Distributed Coordination Function)의 성능은 채널에 접근하기 위하여 경쟁하는 단말수에 큰 영향을 받는다. 이에 경쟁하는 단말 수를 예측하기 위하여 많은 방법들이 제안되고 있지만 기존의 방법들은 채널 오류를 고려하지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 제안된 방법들 중 ARMA(Auto Regressive Moving Average) 필터(Filter)가 적용된 경쟁 단말 수 예측 방법을 수정 및 개선하여 채널 오류를 반영한 단말 수 예측 방법을 제시하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 제안된 방법은 채널 오류가 존재하는 환경에서 효과적으로 경쟁하는 단말 수를 예측할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • This paper investigates the role of corporate entrepreneurship for enhancing a firm's market orientation and competence. It distinguishes exploitive competence enhancement from explorative competence enhancement. The results reveal that corporate entrepreneurship influences both exploitive competence enhancement and explorative competence enhancement. Interestingly, among the components of market orientation, competitor orientation plays key roles, facilitating interfunctional coordination, and thus increasing exploitive competence enhancement and explorative competence enhancement. However, customer orientation affects only explorative competence enhancement.
