Shipping companies involved in sea transportation service are exposed to uncertainty due to its volatile business environment. It is crucial that shipping companies take effective strategies to cope with uncertain business environments and to achieve high business performance. Using Porter's generic strategy, this study investigates the relationships between environmental uncertainty and competitive strategies, and the impact of competitive strategies on firm's business performance. To test hypotheses, OLS regressions and Tobit analysis were conducted on Korea shipping companies who provide global sea transportation service. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, variation of environmental uncertainty affects cost-leadership strategy and differentiation strategy. Diversity of environmental uncertainty affects differentiation strategy, but not cost-leadership strategy. Second, firms attain business performance by using the cost-leadership strategy. That is, shipping companies can achieve high business performance by reducing their operating costs in the entire process of transportation service.

IMF 체제와 의료시장 개방 체제속에서 경쟁우위와 합리적인 경영환경을 구축하기 위해서는 의료업계에서도 불합리한 구조적 개선과 다변화하는 고객서비스 개선을 위해 병원 조직의 효과성 또는 경영 합리화를 위해 구조조정이 불가피하다. 변화의 대응전략 하나로정보기술(Information Technology)에 의한 HPR(Hospital Process ReEngineering) 방법론을 적용시켜 조직의 리스트럭처링(Restructuring)과 프로세스 리엔지니어링(Process ReEngineering)개선으로 인한 경영환경 변화요인을 분석함으로써 기대되는 학습조직, 유연조직, 가상조직, 네트워크 조직, 인간존중조직의 구성효과와 서비스의 질적 향상, 조직의 재구성, 업무의 재분배,인적자원의 적재적소 배치, 사무환경개선, 업무처리과정이 표준와, 경영환경 개선의 기대효과와 정보기술은 단순한 프로세스의 개선, 효율화가 아니라 새로운 환경에 적합한 최적의 경영도구로 병원의 목적 달성에 간접적이 아닌 직접적인 도움을 주는 성공요인으로 평가하였다.

This study examined the effects of entrepreneurship and perception of entrepreneurial environment on business performance. In particular, this study analyzed the difference in the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable by using the government's participation in the start-up support project as a moderate variable. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the researcher drew the variables corresponding to entrepreneurship and the variables related to entrepreneurship awareness. Innovativeness and risk sensitivity were selected as variables for entrepreneurship, and market environment and product environment were selected as variables for perception of entrepreneurial environment. Based on the above variables the research model was completed including the degree of participation in the government's start-up support project as a moderating variable. The data for the empirical analysis were collected from start-up companies in Daegu in 2018. A total of 601 questionnaires were collected and 399 copies of the data were used in this study after removing the unfaithful answers. The results of the analysis showed that innovation had a negative effect on management performance, and risk sensitivity, market environment, and product environment had a positive effect on management performance. In terms of the moderating effect, in the case of innovation, the higher the participation in government support projects, the lesser the negative effect. Risk sensitivity and product environment showed a strong impact on companies with a lot of government support projects, and the market environment had a strong impact on those who participated less. This study confirmed the importance and necessity of entrepreneurship and perception of entrepreneurial environment that influence the management performance of entrepreneurs. It is also meaningful in that it deals with the practical effects of the government's start-up support project on the start-up performance.

소공인은 오랜 전통과 숙련된 기술력을 통해 제조업 경쟁력의 근간을 형성하고 있으나 최근 인력부족, 생산비용 증가, 공장 및 현장의 낙후로 인한 생산성 부족 등 어려움에 직면해 있다. 이러한 비즈니스 환경에서는 경영자역량의 중요성이 강조되고 있으며, 더불어 환경의 불확실성을 극복하기 위해서는 소규모 기업일수록 기업의 네트워크를 통해서 변화에 대응할 수 있는 자원 확보가 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 소공인 사업가의 역량과 네트워크가 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하며, 이들 간의 관계에서 사업자기효능감이 미치는 매개효과를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 수행하기 위해서 본 연구에서는 소공인을 대상으로 설문조사 방법을 사용하여 본 연구가설 검증을 수행하기 위한 위계적 회귀분석을 통해서 분석하고자 한다.

This study aims to clarify the impact of environmental issues on sustainable environmental management performance through the establishment of internal and external networks and environmental management activities. As a result of analyzing 163 final collected data of companies, social environmental issues did not have a significant effect on the internal sharing system, but they had a significant positive effect on both regulatory response and cooperation network establishment. In addition, the regulatory response to the environment has a significant effect on both the internal sharing system, cooperation network establishment, and environmental management activities. Lastly, environmental management activities have a significant impact on sustainable environmental management performance, indicating that environmental issues are leading to environmental management activities and performance by promoting sustainable growth of companies.

The purposes of this paper are analysed the relationship between environmental regulation and financial performance in Korea. The financial performance of listed companies and Outside Auditing firms was evaluated by logistic regression. First, R&D investment is proportionally correlated with the ability to comply with environmental regulations. It can be explained increase of investment in R&D causes enhancement of compliance of environmental regulations with development of environmental technology. Second, statistical significance is not observed between financial aspects such as current ratio, debt-to-equity ratio, cash flow, and operating profit margin and the ability to comply with environmental regulations. It indicates high financial performance could not directly lead investment for the ability of that. Third, in terms of structural aspects, firm size and employees have a reliable correlation with compliance with environmental regulations due to high attention of larger firms for PR, and IR, while capital intensity and gravity, and exports do not. Finally, violation of environmental regulations is not affect by the controlling shareholder ownership.

Green management is, as the response to climate changes emerges to a global issue, a concept which reduction of greenhouse gases, alternative energy development and other low-carbon green growth factors are added on the existing environmental management. Also as discussions on the performance measurement of firms' domestic and international green managements proliferate and the importance of understanding, analyzing and evaluating firms' environmental maintenance rises, variety forms of green management performance measurement indicators are being developed and practiced. However, specific implementation methodologies about green management have been lacking. Hence in this research, In order to have objective evaluations on firms' green managements through the proposed indicator, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) and experts' survey on weight dependence were applied. Sustainability reports and other associated documents of ten major oil/ chemical corporations of in and out of the country were analyzed and corporations were evaluated and compared through weight differentiated indicator subsections.

상용화 서비스를 앞둔 Wibro의 새로운 인터넷 접속 환경의 제공으로 이전의 무선인터넷의 많은 한계를 극복하고 완벽한 유비쿼터스 네트웍 환경의 실현을 목전에 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기업에서 기존의 B2B 비즈니스 모델이 새로운 인터넷 접속 환경인 Wibro로 인해 어떻게 변경될 것 인가를 분석하였다. 그리고 Wibro 환경에서 모바일 비즈니스 성공을 위해 해결해야할 여러 가지 제약사항에 대하여 짚어 보았다. 제시한 프로세스 분석 및 평가 방법론은 기업이 Wibro 환경에서 기존 비즈니스 프로세스 변화에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있도록 한다.
