지역특화산업육성을 통한 동서경제협력방안

  • 지방자치제도의 본격적인 실시로 인하여 성숙되어 가고 있는 지방화시대에 있어서 지방자치단체가 가장 필요로 하는 것은 지역의 경제성장을 통하여 지역주민의 복지를 향상시키는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 지역주민의 복지향상은 광범위한 부문에서 다양하게 나타날 수 있지만, 가장 기본적으로는 지역내의 고용을 안정케 하며, 지역내의 소득수준을 향상시켜 주민들이 높은 삶의 질을 경험하게 하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나, 지금의 우리현실은 자기 지역의 경제발전만을 맹목적으로 추구할 것이 아니라 이웃과 더불어 힘을 합쳐도 어려운 난관을 헤쳐나가기 어려운 처지에 직면해 있다. 따라서, 서로가 자기의 몫을 주장하면서 다툴 것이 아니라 힘을 합쳐야 할 시점에 도달하였다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 지리적으로는 인접하고 있지만 정서적으로는 가깝고도 먼 전라남도와 경상남도가 고부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 특화산업의 적절한 배치를 통하여 높은 수준의 경제번영을 이룩하면서, 동시에 기존의 쌓여있는 지역감정의 벽을 뛰어넘어 동서경제협력을 이루고 궁극적으로는 동서화합을 도출할 수 있는 방안을 모색하려고 한다. 각 지자체에 적합한 특화산업의 육성은 인접한 지자체들이 상호의존적이라는 측면에서 여러 가지의 지역문제를 동시에 하결할 수 있을 뿐만아니라 한정된 자원의 합리적인 이용과 더불어 국토의 균형있는 개발을 가능하게 할 수 있다는 측면에서 많은 긍정적인 요소를 내포하고 있다. 전라남도와 경상남도가 지역에 적합한 특화산업의 육성을 통하여 동서경제협력을 유도하기 위한 방안으로는 우선적으로 역내의 산업구조를 고도화시키고, 산 학 연 관의 협조체계를 구성하며, 지자체간의 협조적인 게임을 유도하여 가시적인 빠른성과의 도출을 위한 방안을 모색하고 타 지자체에 입지한 경쟁력있는 특화산업에의 지역민의 투자를 유도하고, 공동브랜드의 사용 및 시장의 공동개척등을 고려할 수 있을 것이다.

Analysis of the Hanwoo Rasing Cycle Using Sine Function (싸인함수를 이용한 한우 사육두수 예측)

  • This paper analyzes the beef cycle and forecasts the number of Hanwoo. This study uses Sine function for this purpose. Data shows that beef cycle varies from five to twelve years and the cycle becomes longer as time passes. The adjusted $R^2$ of the estimated model is 0.95. The forecasted value based on this model for the number of Hanwoo is 1.6-1.8 million heads in lower bound and 3.2-3.7 million heads in upper bound, where the peak points are slightly different according to cycles. These predicted values imply the instability of number of Hanwoo and corresponding farm income, so we have to prepare adequate policies to cope with it.

Cultural Practices Affecting the Growth and Tuber Yield of Yam Bean (Pachyrhizus erosus L.) (얌빈 생육과 괴경 수량에 영향을 미치는 재배요인)

  • This study was conducted to establish a domestic cultivation system of a newly introduced yam bean (Pachyrhizus erosus L.). Growth and yield were investigated in response to various cultural practices, such as seedling raising, planting distance, pinching, and flower pruning. Optimum conditions for raising of seedling were an average temperature of $22^{\circ}C$ for 30 days. Considering of the raising efficiency and the convenience of transplanting, 128 cells per tray was a suitable size. When pinching at a height of 120 cm from late July to early August, yield increased by 22% compared to no pinching. Flower pruning between late August and early September increased the number of tubers and tuber yield by 32% in comparison with no flower pruning. Yam bean seedlings planted at $50cm{\times}30cm$ spacing resulted in 30% yield increase as compared to wider spacing of $100cm{\times}30cm$. Our results thus suggested that the optimal combination of cultural practices ($50{\times}30cm$ planting distance, pinching at 120 cm height, and one time of flower pruning) increase profitability by 107%. All these results suggest high possibility of yam bean as a new income crop in Korea.

Contribution Rate Analysis for Factors in Auction Price on Hanwoo Calves (한우송아지의 경매가격에 대한 요인별 기여도 분석)

  • This study was estimated the effect of environmental factors and each of them on auction price of Hanwoo calves. The auction prices of Hanwoo calves(19,592head) registered pedigree were sampled in Gyeongsangnam-do from 2014 to 2015. The environmental factors were highly(p<0.01) affect to the auction price of Hanwoo calves. With the analysis of contribute factor used the semi-partial correlation, the value of regression equation(Adj R-Square) was 0.701. The semi-partial correlation values of sex, auction body weight, auction age, auction year, auction season, and auction area were 0.11563, 0.20013, 0.02823, 0.10727, 0.00330 and 0.02963, respectively. And the highest contribution factor was body weight, and then, followed sex, auction year, auction area and auction age. In conclusion, it could be suggested that Hanwoo calf farmer should improve calf body weight to increase auction price by not only breeding, but also optimal management. Additionally, it is expecting in the future that competitiveness and income of farmers will be affected deeply by the holding and producing of predominant genes which is coincidence with breeding principles. However, further study should be conducted for the better understand caused by the limit of previous studies which was estimated the correlations of auction price and each factors.

  • 21세기 해양시대를 맞이하여 선진 해양수산 경남으로의 발전 도약을 위하여 2002년부터 2006 년까지 5개년에 걸쳐 지역특성을 살린 자율적이고 미래지향적인 해양수산업 및 삶의 질이 향상되는 해양수산종합발전계획을 수립하였다. 해양수산업의 현 실태는 대외적으로는 신 해양질서의 재편, 대내적으로는 해양환경오염 등으로 어업여건이 악화되고 있으며, 또한 체계적인 어업관리 미비로 인하여 잡는어업 관리의 문제점이 노출되었다. 양식어장 관리부실 및 수산물 수입 급증으로 양식기반이 위축되고, 소득기반 및 정주환경 열악으로 탈어촌ㆍ노령화 현상이 가속화되고 있는 실정이다. 이와 같은 문제점을 극복하기 위해 연근해 어업의 구조조정 및 어업자원 관리를 통해 연근해어업의 경쟁력을 강화시키고, 기르는 어업의 육성과 연안어장 목장화 및 쾌적하고 생명력 넘치는 해양환경 조성으로 수산물 생산량을 향상시키는 수산업에 대한 종합발전계획을 수립하였다. 또한, 수산물 수출촉진과 유통혁신 및 가공산업 현대화를 통해 수산물 가공업의 영세성을 탈피하여 풍요롭고 활력이 넘치는 어촌개발, 해양레져타운 건설 및 선진 어업인을 육성하기 위한 해양산업발전계획도 수립하였다.

Analysis on Cost Structure and Management Performance of Poultry Farming in AgroForestry (산지양계복합경영의 비용구조와 경영성과 분석)

  • This study is to analyze differences in gross income between only forestry and agroforestry. In addition, cost structure and management performance on poultry farming was surveyed. The study sites were three forestry households located in Chungju, Kyungsan and Hwacheon. The method of its management performance were conducted by interview. And, survey items of the performance were operating expenses items and gross income items in 2015. As a result of study, gross income of Chungju business model was 25,608,000 won. The operating cost was 20,217,571 won so that the net income was 5,390,429 won. In case of Gyeongsan, gross income was 33,950,000 won and the operating cost was 18,655,714 won. Thus, the net income was 15,494,286 won. Hwacheon business model showed that gross income was 31,850,000 won, the operating cost was 13,143,000 won. Thus, the net income was 18,707,000 won. And, break-even point of sale volume, which meets cost, was 617 chicken in Chungju, 125 chicken in Gyeongsan, and 63 chicken in Hwacheon. In terms of selling cost-per-production ratio, Chungju business model was 79%, Kyungsan was 55% and Hwacheon was 41%. The results of this study indicates that margin ratio per chicken was 21% in Chungju, 45% in Kyungsan and 59% in Hwacheon. On Agroforestry, increasing rate for gross income was evaluated by 16% in Chungju, 18% in Gyeongsan and 11% Hwacheon.

Structure of Forestry Household and Forest Management in Korea - The Case of 2005 Forestry Census and the Economic Survey of Forestry Household - (우리나라 임가의 구조와 임업경영 - 2005년의 임업총조사와 임가경제조사 결과를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the organization and the forestry household income applied the result of 2005 Forestry Census and the Economic survey of Forest household in Korea. As a result of the analysis, there are 97,108 households of a forester in korea 2005. Full time forestry household occupied 7,925 families (8.2%), part time forestry household occupied 88,183 families (91.8%). Therefore, the most household of a forester is part time forestry household in korea. The average people of the household of a forester family is 2.7 people. The age of forest manager are sixties nearly, over sixty years old forest manager occupied 51,505 people (53%). The forest management period of forestry households is more than 6 months in 39,229 families (40.4%), less than 1 month in 7,216 families (7.4%). The average area of forestry households owning forest is 4.6ha. According to the type of business, logging families possesses 19.5 ha. The mean income of forestry households is \27,148,000. One of them, forestry income is \6,529,000, which occupied 24.1%. Furthermore, forestry households less than \5,000,000 forest product sales performance occupied 51,633 families, which is 64%. Forest operating costs is \6,566,000 mean per family. In addition, the number of a forestry household resident villages is 11,829 villages, where is 32.8% of whole villages in korea. There are 2,979 villages where reside forestry household in gyeongsangbuk-do.

The Comparison of Quality Characteristics of Dried Persimmons Manufactured by Solar Drying Method in Yecheon (예천지역 천일건조 곶감의 품종별 품질특성 비교)

  • This study was performed to determine quality characteristics of solar-dried persimmon for each cultivar. The physical and sensory characteristics of 4 cultivars of solar-dried persimmons (Gojongsi, Godongsi, Sangjudungsi, Koshuhyakume) were investigated. As a result, yield rate and firmness was highest in Koshuhyakume (29.5%, 9.62 N). Meanwhile, the soluble solid content (SSC) was the highest in Gojongsi ($27.3^{\circ}Brix$) and it has a significant difference between 4 cultivars (p<0.05). The water activity was range from 0.784 to 0.819 and Gojongsi (0.784) was significantly lower than others. The water contents value was the highest in Koshuhyakume (37.51%), while Sangjudungsi (35.32%) was the lowest. In case of Hunter's value, 'L', 'a' and 'b' were the highest in Sangjudungsi (34.56, 9.24, 17.07), whereas Koshuhyakume (29.17, 5.68, 13.59) has generally low value. In sensory evaluation, overall acceptability was the highest in Gojongsi and Godongsi (5.16), while Koshuhyakume (3.95) was the lowest. The results showed that the quality characteristics of dried persimmon manufactured by solar drying method have distinct difference according to cultivars.

Rice Yield and Quality in Mixed Cropping of Several Colored Rice Cultivars (유색미 혼합 재배시 수량 및 현미 품질)

  • The mixed cropping system is a centuries-old cropping technique widely practiced in farmers' fields worldwide. Increased plant diversity enhances farmland biodiversity, which improves grain yield and quality. However, the effect of growing different rice cultivars simultaneously has rarely been investigated. In the present study, six glutinous rice cultivars were selected, and two mixture cultivation methods were determined according to plant height, grain yield, and color. Colored and glutinous rice are used for specific purposes by consumers because of their color and nutritive value. Six glutinous rice varieties, including aromatic and colored rice, were included in the combination interplanting trials. The results showed that, compared with the corresponding monocropping systems, almost all combinations of the mixed cropping systems had advantages in yield-related traits. Compared with monocropping systems, mixed cropping systems increased the number of panicles per plant and maturation rate by 20% and 10%, respectively. An increase of 18-20% grain yield was observed in mixed cropping plots compared with that in plots which grew only a single rice variety. Some rice varieties, such as green colored rice 'Nogwonchall' and black colored rice 'Chungpunghukhayangchall', exhibited 18-22% increased yield when they were planted in combinations. The high yields were primarily owing to improved light interception and reduced lodging, although other factors (for example, reduced severity of disease) may have also contributed.

A Study on Estimation of Economic Effects on Mining Products Import Substitution Using Macroeconometric Input-Output Model (거시계량투입산출 모형을 이용한 광산품 수입대체의 경제적 효과 추정 연구)

  • In this study, it is estimated how many changes of macroeconomic variables are happened under the proposition of import substitution of mining products 1% using macroeconometric input-output model. For this, used macroeconometric input-output model is composed of 141 behavioral equations representing the macroeconomy structure. In general, macroeconometrics models are constructed mainly on the side of the expenditure then it is not easy to estimate the effects of the shocks occurred from industry level. To mitigate that, this study tries to construct a macroeconometric input-output model. Macroeconometrics model which is useful to estimate the effects of macroeconomic shocks, economic policy and more, in this study, is linked with input-output table through the NDI(national disposable income) derived from compensation of employee. And this paper presents the estimation results of import substitution effects of mining products on Korean economy. As a results, GDP is increased 0.00073%, gross labor employed 0.00029%, current balanace 0.00010% and unemployment rate is mitigated 0.00233%.
