When a route choice is done under uncertainty, a driver has some expectation of traffic conditions that will occur according to the route chosen. This study tries to build a framework in which we can observe the learning behavior of the drivers' expectations of the travel time under nonstationary environment. In order to investigate how drivers have their subjective expectations on traffic conditions in response to public information, a numerical experiment is carried out. We found that rational expectations(RE) formation about the route travel time can be expressed by the adaptive expectation model when the travel time changes in accordance with the nonstationary process which consists of permanent shock and transient shock. Also, we found that the adaptive parameter of the model converges to the fixed value corresponding to the route conditions.
The conduct of seafarer is major cause of marine accidents. This study models the behavior of the seafarer based on the Hidden Markov Model (HMM). Additionally, through the path analysis of the behavior estimated by the model, the kind of situations, procedures and errors that may have caused the marine accidents were interpreted. To successfully implement the model, the seafarer behaviors were observed by means of the summarized verdict reports issued by the Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal, and the observed results converted into behavior data suitable for HMM learning through the behavior classification framework based on the SRKBB (Skill-, Rule-, and Knowledge-Based Behavior). As a result of modeling the seafarer behaviors by the type of vessels, it was established that there was a difference between the models, and the possibility of identifying the preferred path of the seafarer behaviors. Through these results, it is expected that the model implementation technique proposed in this study can be applied to the prediction of the behavior of the seafarer as well as contribute to the prioritization of the behavior correction among seafarers, which is necessary for the prevention of marine accidents.
The purpose of this study was to identify the effects influencing path behaviors of pre-service childcare teachers to present the educational and social welfare measures for promoting children's character development and preventing the alienation of the elderly. The subjects for this study are 176 students who completed the childcare teacher course in four universities located in G city and J province. The scale of this study utilized modified, supplemented scale used in previous studies[1][2] that was constituted for a newly transformed model based on planned behavior theories. The contents of research design include salience beliefs such as attitude beliefs, normative beliefs, control beliefs, etc. as well as a model of planned behavior theories such as attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, behavior intension, behavior, etc. This study conducted frequency analysis and regression analysis for the data collected by using the SPSS 18.0 for Windows. From the results of verification, all hypothesis was supported. Thus, usefulness of this theory was reconfirmed, and the results of this study are to be utilized as basic materials for professionals who make every endeavor in a perspective of children's character development and in a perspective of reducing alienation phenomenon of the elderly.
This study focused on causes of use reluctant intention because closed SNS was more active than open SNS was despite tremendous growth of SNS to have negative influence upon not only SNS contents suppliers but also marketing business using SNS. The survey were conducted a total of 205 participants with adult over colleague student, 197 copies that excluded questionnaire with unfaithful answer were used in the analysis, and we used path analysis of structural equation modeling. The results of modified path model showed that interactivity was influenced by value, and then affecting "trust ${\rightarrow}$ satisfaction ${\rightarrow}$ using reluctant intention" path and "satisfaction ${\rightarrow}$ using reluctant intention" path. These result reflected that interactivity have a double-edged sword and value is very important standard to make a positive of negative role of interactivity. These results suggested that interactivity was found to have influence upon not only behavioral willingness that took actions depending upon either improvisation or situation but also behavioral intention path that thought and took actions in reasonable way. The interactivity had double-edged sword to help develop SNS and to produce negative results.

Recently, both scholars and marketers have asserted the importance of boundary spanning behaviors, such as external representation, being vocal advocates to outsiders of the organization's image, goods, and services, internal influence, taking individual initiative in communications to the firm and co-workers to improve service delivery by the organization, co-workers, and oneself, and service delivery, serving customers in a conscientious, responsive, flexible, and courteous manner. However, there is lack of study dealing with bourdary spanning behaviors bewteen organizational dyads, in which boundary spanning behaviors are expected to have important roles. The objectives of this paper is to investigate these important concerns with prior research by developing a theoretical model predicting how distinct buyer's boundary spanning behaviors occur. To be concrete, this paper develops a seller characteristics-based model of the attitudinal antecedents of three conceptually distinct forms of boundary spanning behaviors, and tests the hypothesized differential effects of seller characteristics on the three forms of boundary spanning behaviors, and investigates the extent to which these relationships are mediated by relationship satisfaction and organizational commitment. For the purpose of empirical testing, 420 respondents of leading automobile dealers, dining franchisees, industrial material retailers in Korea were surveyed and the analysis utilizing structural equation model indicated that communication quality, fairness, and marketing program dynamism had positive effects on buyer's boundary spanning behaviors via relationship satisfaction and organizational commitment. In addition, boundary spanning behaviors occurred more in contractural and corporate distribution channel than in conventional distribution channel.
Drawing on Protection Motivation Theory(PMT), this study attempts to clarify antecedents that influence the intention to protect individuals' privacy on the Internet. Protection motivation forms through individuals' cognitive appeal involving threat and efficacy. Then protection motivation causes privacy behavioral change. Protection motivation factors are established privacy trust and privacy risk, which are related to privacy attitude and belief. This proposed model is empirically analyzed by utilizing structural equation analysis(SEM). According to the result of the empirical analysis, it is founded that almost paths have statistically significant explanatory power except path from efficacy to privacy risk and path from privacy trust to privacy behavioral intention. This study shows powerful evidence of antecedent factors based on protection motivation of individuals' privacy behavioral intention in online environment.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the path model consisted of action planning, physical activity, and depression in order to obtain an enhanced understanding of their relationship and to support the aged with depression in community. In order to achieve this, precedent study was reviewed and the program with physical activity and action planning was executed. the data of a investigation of action planning, physical activity, and depression of the aged participated in the program which was consisted of physical activity with Action Planning was used and 116 cases were analyzed. The data analysis was done by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and path analysis. The results were as follows. First, the path model was accepted. Second, the direct path of action planning to physical activity was significant. Third, the direct path of both action planning and physical activity to depression were significant. Fourth, the effect size of action planning to depression was more than that of physical activity. Fifth, the indirect path of action planning to depression through physical activity was significant. On the basis of these results, this suggests a need to add action planning on national physical activity plan, establish the delivery system for physical activity program with action planning in mental health center in community, and applicate narrative approach skills for qualitative improvement of action planning.
The driver's decision making (e.g. route choice) is a typical decision making with an uncertainty. In this paper, we investigate the effect of route guidance information on driver's route choice and learning behavior and analyse the potential of information system in a road network in which traffic flows follow random walk. A Simulation performed focuses on the relationship among the network wide performance, message receiving rates and driver's learning mechanism. We know that at high levels of message receiving rates, the network-wide performance may get worse. However, at low levels of receiving rates, we found that the travel time when guidance information is provided decrease compared to the cases when no pubic information is provided. Also, we found that the learning parameter of the learning mechanism model always changes under nonstationary traffic condition. In addition, learning process of drivers does not converge on any specific value. More investigation is needed to enlarge the scope of the study and to explore more deeply driver's behavior.
This study explored an appropriate research model that could explain and predict the spread of fintech, a new financial services in Korea. We reviewed two theoretical frameworks, theory of planned behavior(TPB) and technology acceptance model(TAM), which are frequently cited to explain human behavior and new technology adoption, respectively. Then, we proposed a decomposed theory of planned behavior(DTPB) as a research model and examined the model through PLS path modeling. As a result, every path except PEOU-ATT path in TAM is significant, and the explanatory power toward behavioral intention(R2=0.573) is also significantly greater in the proposed model. Accordingly, the proposed DTPB is appropriate to explain the spread of fintech in Korea. Finally, suggestions for the following studies are discussed.
