Study and Evaluation of Sub Area Linkage Algorithm in COSMOS (COSMOS에서의 Sub Area 운영 알고리즘에 관한 연구 및 평가)

  • In COSMOS, an area for signal coordination is divided into subareas composed of several signalized intersections that share a common cycle time. Each subarea contains only one critical intersection having heavy traffic load. Subarea is a basic unit of control. The performance of COSMOS is highly dependent on the linkage rule between adjacent subareas. The purpose of this study is to provide an appropriate subarea linkage rule in COSMOS. This study developed a control strategy for Critical Intersection and Sub Area linkage. Critical Intersections calculate the Offset Pattern both East-West Axis and North-South Axis, and the coordination direction either East-West Axis or North-South Axis. Subarea can be combined with other one in all directions. The performance of the suggested linkage rule was evaluated on the real network in Gangnam-Gu. The result was that travel time was reduced by the suggested linkage rule.

Enhancing Security of Transaction Session in Financial Open API Environment Using Hybrid Session Protection Protocol Combined with NTRU (NTRU를 결합한 하이브리드 세션 보호 프로토콜을 이용한 금융 오픈 API 환경의 거래 세션 안전성 강화)

  • Public key cryptography algorithm such as RSA and ECC, which are commonly used in current financial transaction services, can no longer guarantee security when quantum computers are realized. Therefore it is necessary to convert existing legacy algorithms to Post-Quantum Cryptography, but it is expected that will take a considerable amount of time to replace them. Hence, it is necessary to study a hybrid method combining the two algorithms in order to prepare the forthcoming transition period. In this paper we propose a hybrid session key exchange protocol that generates a session key by combining the legacy algorithm ECDH and the Post-Quantum Cryptographic algorithm NTRU. We tried the methods that proposed by the IETF for TLS 1.3 based hybrid key exchange, and as a result, it is expected that the security can be enhanced by applying the protocol proposed in this paper to the existing financial transaction session protection solution.

  • In this paper, we consider an online compensation algorithm considering the mutual coupling and suggest a new GPS antenna array to apply. To evaluate the anti-jamming performance for the proposed antenna array, ULA and URA, we divide direction finding of multiple jamming signals into environments. 1. there is no mutual coupling. 2. there is mutual coupling but no compensation. 3. mutual coupling is compensated. RMSE analysis showed that the online compensation algorithm works and that peak detection is possible for multiple jamming signals.

  • In modern society, various digital equipment are being distributed due to the influence of the 4th industrial revolution, and they are used in a wide range of fields such as automated processes, intelligent CCTV, medical industry, robots, and drones. Accordingly, the importance of the preprocessing process in a system operating based on an image is increasing, and an algorithm for effectively reconstructing an image is drawing attention. In this paper, we propose a filter algorithm based on a combined weight value to reconstruct an image in a complex noise environment. The proposed algorithm calculates the weight according to the spatial distance and the weight according to the difference between the pixel values for the input image and the pixel values inside the filtering mask, respectively. The final output was filtered by applying the join weights calculated based on the two weights to the mask. In order to verify the performance of the proposed algorithm, we simulated it by comparing it with the existing filter algorithm.

  • 오류 역전파 알고리즘을 영상 인식에 적용한 경우 은닉층의 노드 수를 경험적으로 설정하여야 하는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 오류 역전파 알고리즘의 은닉층 노드 수를 동적으로 설정하는 문제를 해결하기 위해 ART1을 수정하여 지도 학습 방법과 결합한 자가 생성 지도 학습 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 학습 알고리즘의 성능을 평가하기 위해 콘테이너 영상의 문자 및 숫자 인식 문제에 적용하여 기존의 오류 역전파 알고리즘과 성능을 비교, 분석하였다. 실험 결과에서는 제안된 자가 생성 지도 학습알고리즘이 기존의 오류 역전과 알고리즘보다 지역 최소화에 빠질 가능성이 감소하였으며 학습 시간과 수렴성이 개선되었을 뿐만 아니라, 영상 인식에 적용할 수 있는 가능성도 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 빠른 수렴 속도를 가지면서 정상 상태에서 작은 오차 레벨을 유지하 는 이중모드 형태의 Stop-and-Go 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 특별한 결정 영 역을 설정하여 등화기 출력 레벨이 어느 영역에 속하느냐에 따라 MCMA와 판정지향 알고 리즘을 결합한 변형된 Stop-and-Go 알고리즘과 기존의 Stop-and-Go 알고리즘의 동작을 자동 전환한다. 컴퓨터 모의실험 결과, 제안한 알고리즘이 CMA, MCMA 및 Stop-and-Go 알고리즘등과 같은 기존의 적응 블라인드 등화 알고리즘들에 비해 잔류 심볼간 간섭과 정상 상태로의 수렵 속도면에서 모두 우수한 성능을 가짐을 확인하였다.

A Navigation Algorithm of Modular Robots with 3 DOF Docking Arm in Uneven Environments (3자유도 결합 팔을 가진 모듈형 로봇의 비평탄 지형 주행 알고리즘)

  • In the paper, we propose an improved mobility method of modular robots by physical docking in the uneven environments. The modular robot system consists of autonomous docking device, 3 DOF robotic arm, motion controller, and main controller. Real-time location and direction of the robot are estimated using inner GPS and they are used to control direction and path of each robot for physical docking between modular robots. We design a navigation algorithm of modular robot using physical docking and cooperative navigation in the environment with broken road and low stair. The proposed method is verified by navigation experiments of three developed modular robots in the uneven environments.

  • parallel transmitting system with channel bonding method have been proposed to transmit mass content such as UHD(Ultra High Definition) in HFC(Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) networks. However, this system may lead to channel resource problem because the system needs many channels to transmit mass content. In this paper, we analyze three effective bandwidth approximation algorithms to use the bonding channel efficiently. These algorithms are the effective bandwidth of Gaussian approximation method algorithm proposed by Guerin, the effective bandwidth based on statistics of video frames proposed by Lee and the effective bandwidth based on Gaussian traffic proposed by Nagarajan. We also evaluate compatibility of algorithms to the mass broadcasting service. OPNET simulator is used to evaluate the performance of the algorithms. For accuracy of simulation, we make mass source from real HD broadcasting stream.

  • 다목적함수 최적화를 효과적으로 수행하기 위하여 유전자 알고리즘과 직접탐색법을 결합하여 혼성형 최적화기법을 구현하였다. 이 방법은 유전자 알고리즘을 사용하여 최적점이 존재할 가능성이 높은 영역을 탐색한 후, 이 영역에서 직접탐색법을 사용하여 최종해를 찾는다. 따라서 탐색의 효율을 향상시키고 계산시간을 절약할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 그러나 최적화기법이 효율적이지만, 최적화기법을 사용하기 위해서는 전문가의 전문지식이 필요하다. 따라서 실제 최적화를 수행하기 위해서는 관련 분야의 전문지식과 최적화기법이 효율적으로 결합되는 것이 필요하다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Support Vector Machines (SVM) 을 이용하여, 빠르고 정확한 두 convex한 클러스터 간의 거리 측정 방법을 제시한다 제시된 방법에서는, SVM에 의해서 생성되는 최적 다차원 평면이 두 클러스터간의 최소 거리를 계산하는데 사용된다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 이러한 두 클러스터 간의 최적의 거리를 사용하여, Fuzzy Convex Clustering (FCC) 방법 (1) 에 의해서 생성되는 Convex 클러스터들을 묶어주는 효과적인 클러스터 결합 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 그러므로, 데이터의 부적절한 표현을 유발하지 않고도 클러스터들의 개수를 좀 더 줄일 수 있었다. 제시한 방법의 타당성을 위하여 여러 실험 결과를 제시하였다
