A Design and Implementation of NFC Bridge Chip (NFC 브릿지 칩 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper describes a design and implementation of the NFC bridge chip which performs interface between kinds of devices and mobile phones including NFC controller through NFC communication. The NFC bridge chip consists of the digital part and the analog part which are based on NFC Forum standard. Therefore the chip treats RF signals and then transforms the signal to digital data, so it can interface kinds of devices with the digital data. Especially the chip is able to detect RF signals and then wake up the host processor of a device. The wakeup function dramatically decreases the power consumption of the device. The carrier frequency is 13.56MHz, and the data rate is up to 424kbps. The chip has been fabricated with SMIC 180nm mixed-mode technology. Additionally an NFC bridge chip application to the blood glucose measurement system is described for an application example.

  • The development of hot social networking services, including the Internet, has transformed rental car services into IT-based car-sharing services. The car-sharing service is a service that allows people to rent cars online without having to face-to-face. It has become the preffered service among young people who are accustomed to drinking and eating alone. Users can use their smartphones to book their types of cars and hours of rent, and then go to a nearby designated parking lot to use their reserved cars. You can open a designated car door with a smart phone and drive. It is a very convenient service to pay for the distance you drive. However, the car-sharing service already in use in business has the following problems: underage who do not have a driver's license may drive a car borrowed by an acquaintance, the status of a license registered at the time of join membership with a car-sharing company may change to a suspension or cancellation of a license while renting and driving, or even a drunk person may rent a car and drive. In this paper, the method to solve these problems has been studied and proposed. The proposed method is to reduce the cost of investment by a car-sharing service provider and to minimize user inconvenience. And, it was compared and analyzed with the existing method. For the method to be used efficiently, the active operation of the car-sharing company and the government's policies will have to be supported.

Characteristics of Shear Waves in Controlled Low Strength Material with Curing Time (양생시간에 따른 유동성 채움재의 전단파 특성)

  • The ultrasonic waves for monitoring concrete materials have been used to investigate the setting and hardening process of concrete. This paper presents the application of bender elements for monitoring the hardening properties of Controlled Low Strength Material (CLSM) and the characterization of shear waves in CLSM according to curing time. To ensure the early age properties and flow, the CLSM consists of CSA cement, sand, silt, water, fly ash, and accelerator. In addition, three different type specimens according to fine contents are mixed. A couple of bender elements are installed at the wall of measurement cell and the CLSM specimen are prepared at the measurement cell for 28 days. Experimental results show that the resonant frequency and shear wave velocities increase with an increase in the curing time, regardless of the fine contents. Up to ten hours, the amplitudes of shear waves also increase, and the resonant frequency and shear wave velocities at the same time increase as the fine contents increase. The shear wave measurement technique using the bender elements may be effectively used to evaluate the hardening properties of CLSM along the curing time.

  • 초고속인터넷 접속서비스 시장이 성숙 단계에 접어듬으로써 성장세는 급격히 둔화되고 경쟁환경은 심화되는 과정에서 통신사업자들이 기존의 신규가입자 유치 위주의 정책에서 벗어나 초고속인터넷 가입자 인프라를 기반으로 새로운 부가 서비스 및 차별화 된 서비스의 개발을 통해 가입자 확대 및 ARPU(Average Revenue Per Unit)를 중대 시킬 수 있는 수익원 개발이 절실하다. 이러한 상황하에서 통신방송 융합 서비스는 통신사업자에게 기회와 위협이라는 상반된 현상으로 다가오고 있다. TV-based VOD 서비스는 보다 양질의 멀티미디어 서비스를 원하는 고객의 수요와 신규 고객을 유치하고 가입자를 Lock-in 시키며, 타 통신 사업자의 고객을 자사 고객으로 전환시키고자 하는 차별화 전략의 일환으로 도입되기 시작하였고, 또한 ARPU를 증대 시키고 다양한 수익원 개발의 일환으로 인터넷 접속서비스 외에 부가가치를 창출 할 수 있는 Killer Service로서 주목을 받고 있다. TV VOD 사업이 성공적으로 국내 시장에 정착될 경우, 통신사업자에게는 여러 형태의 수익원 발굴이 가능할 것으로 예상된다. 즉 가입비, 월 이용료, 부가 사용료 등과 같은 포괄적인 형태의 가입비가 주된 수익원이 될 것이이며, pay-per-view(PPV) 형태의 이용료 역시 주된 수익원이 될 것이다. 이 외에도 셋톱박스, 홈게이트웨이/서버 등과 같은 단말기의 임대와 판매를 통한 수익 창출방안과 다른 서비스들과 마찬가지로 광고도 중요한 수익원천으로 활용 할 수 있을 것이며 또한 미디어업체 또는 CP(contents provider)를 대상으로, 보안, 인증, 과금, 결제, 회원 관리, 이용정보 제공 서비스 등도 사업자의 수익원으로 활용할 이 있을 것이다. TV-based VOD 서비스는 망 진화에 따른 차세대 초고속인터넷 서비스 기술인 VDSL이나 Advanced 케이블모뎀을 이용 DVD 급 고화질의 TV-based VOD 서비스가 시작되면서 ARPU를 증대 시키고 다양한 수익원 개발의 일환으로 인터넷 접속서비스 외에 부가가치를 창출 할 수 있는 Killer Service로서 VOD서비스가 주목을 받고 있다. TV-based VOD 서비스는 가입자망의 진화 와 밀접하게 연관되어 전개되는 서비스로 Post-ADSL에 대한 예측과 VOD에 서비스에 대한 설문조사 결과를 토대로 하여 예측 한 바에 의하면 Post-ADSL 가입자는 2003년 153만명에서 2004년 444만으로 증가하고 2006년 987만 명에 이를 것으로 전망되고, VOD서비스 가입의향도 16%에서 2006년 34% 까지 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 VOD서비스 가입자는 2003년 24만 명에서 2004년 98만으로 증가하고 2006년 335만 명으로 증가하는 것으로 예측되었다.

A Study on the Satisfaction Differences in Dockless Bike in Suwon City (스테이션 없는 공유자전거 이용 만족도 차이 분석연구(수원시 사례를 중심으로))

  • The city of Suwon has introduced a dockless bike for the first time in Korea. In this study, a questionnaire was conducted for citizens to suggest improvement through satisfaction analysis. As a result of the survey, 88 % of respondents awarded the presence of a bike, and 90 % answered positively in terms of bike policy; whereas mature civic ethics showed an low satisfaction. For the purpose of usage, approximately 75 % of users mainly used for commuting, business, shopping, and the connection with mass transit. In the result of the primary means of a trip, a private car was most preferred before operation; However, it was found that mode transition has been actively carried out. This suggests significant implications for implementing sustainable urbanism. Meanwhile, The level of satisfaction significantly differed in the field of payment method, charge, usage guidance and publicity by an occupation and age groups commonly. Satisfaction in bike maintenance was statistically differed by an occupation. Satisfaction in Rental-return and registration procedures showed differences by an age groups. The results of this study will contribute to establishment related policies and to more activate dockless shared bike.

Yield Response of NPK Fertilizers and Soil Fertility Status of Farmers' Field for Peanut (땅콩재배지(栽培地) 토양(土壤)의 특성(特性)과 삼요소(三要素) 시비반응(施肥反應))

  • Three field experiments were conducted to define the optimum levels, yield responses and fertilization efficiencies of NPK fertilizers on peanut and survey on fertility status of 150 farmers` peanut fields was carried out for 3 years. The range of optimum rates of N, $P_2O_5$ and $K_2O$ fertilizers on peanut were 5.2-9.0, 6.4-21.0, 8.5-15.0kg/10a, respectively. The effect of NPK application were 23, 8, 16% and production efficiencies of each kg of NPK fertilizers were 6.0, 1.8, 3.4 kg, respectively. The optimum nutrient contents in soil were 250 ppm for available $P_2O_5$ and 0.8 me/100g for exchangeable K including applied ones. Available soil nutrient contents of farmers' peanut fields were mostly below the optimum range for upland soil.

Effects of Various Rates of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium on Fertilization Response of Flue-Cured Tobacco (질소(窒素), 인산(燐酸), 가리(加里)의 시비비율(施肥比率)이 황색종연초(黃色種煙草)의 시비반응(施肥反應)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • Fertilization response on production and quality of flue-cured tobacco as to different level of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium were studied in a field experiment. The results were summarized as follows: 1. Growth and yield of flue-cured tobacco were significantly better in higher nitrogen fertilization levels, regardless of soil fertility, but the negative correlation was recognized between the quality of leaves and the amounts of nitrogen application. While, both fertilizers of phosphorous and potassium did not have should little effect on the tobacco yield and quality. 2. The optimum ratio of N, P, and K fertilizer applications were decided by the appearance of the proper yield and the best quality of tobacco leaves. The proportion of N:P:K was 2:1:4. 3. The single effect (Complete plot minus Non-fertilized plot) of N, P, and K on yield and quality of cured leaf was greatly affected by nitrogen, but the combined effect (Nutrient deficiency plot minus Non-fertilzier plot) of that were only slightly affected by P and K.

  • The development of public-key-based technique that enables a variety of services(E-government, e-banking, e-payment, etc.) evaluated as having complete safety. On the other hand, vulnerabilities(e.g, heartbleed bug, etc.) are constantly being discovered. In this paper, a public key infrastructure to verify the safety and reliability, the collision rate using OpenSSL key pair was analyzed. the experiment was performed using the following procedure. Openssl was used to create five private certification agencies, and each of the private certificate authority certificates to create 2 million, generating a total of 10 million by the certificate of the key pair conflicts analysis. The results revealed 35,000 in 1 million, 0.35% chance of a public key, a private key conflict occurred. This is sufficient in various fields(E-payment, Security Server, etc.). A future public-key-based technique to remove the threat of a random number generator, large minority issues, in-depth study of selection will be needed.

  • Nowadays, Smart Wallet technology trend that is able to save users' consuming costs and also retain users' redundant behaviors such as Single-tapping, One-way communication, Integrated ID, has been issued in recent Mobile Industrial Fields. As one of Smart Wallet functions, Integrated ID is proposed for users' convenience, handiness, and immediate responses. It is designed for the effective management of users' IDs which are easy to be forgot because of its unusual structures. To be detail, instead of user, Integrated ID system can certificate users identification from various online sites (where user resisted) authorization requests via one-clicking, not putting identification data in each sites. So, this technology would be helpful much to a certain user who has lots ID and its Password in multiple Online shopping companies by establishing integrated ID. However, although Integrated ID has lots advantages to be used, most Mobile Service Companies has hesitated to apply Integrated ID service in their shopping systems because this technology requires them sharing their users' data. They have worried that this service would be not helpful to gain their profits. Furthermore, Users who join in multiple shopping companies and use Integrated ID services also are difficult to decide which company they have to save their points in before payment because this system could not show any financial benefit analysis data to their users. As following facts, via this paper majorly we propose the advanced Integrated ID system which concern shopping point management. Basically, this system has a strong security payment service and secure network services like other mobile Shopping systems. Additionally, this system is able to service (or to support) shopping -point -saving guide for customers' financial benefits and conveniences.

  • Social networking services (SNS) are developing significantly with the Internet and smartphones. It's a friendly social media, but if you think deeply about it, you'll find that it has a variety of faces. It is a communication tool between users, a medium for delivering information, an infrastructure for providing applications, and a community where people with common interests gather. In recent years, business tools, shopping and payment methods are also being swallowed. The influence of the spread of SNS on the real world is also expanding, and the work being dealt with from a sociological perspective is also increasing. Also, if you pay attention to the technical aspects of SNS, it is composed of various technical elements, such as infrastructure that handles large-scale access, user interface that supports comfortable use, and big data analysis to understand people's behavior more deeply. However, I usually use it as usual. However, if you look through SNS, you can see that the situation is surprisingly profound and multifaceted. This study began by looking at the history and current status of SNS and attempted to find its status through comparison with other media. From the point of view of relationship with society, it can be a risk and legal issue when using SNS, such as crimes using bad social media or social media. It is also necessary to comment on the activities on SNS or the guidelines established by the operators. Therefore, various legal issues on SNS will be discussed. Also, as an example of using SNS, I will introduce an example of using SNS in disaster response. From a more technical point of view, you will receive commentary on SNS's network-based technology and SNS's information use, and these articles will help you understand and use SNS safely and help you further utilize or develop SNS.
