A Study on the Interpolation Characteristics of the Scattered Geographic Data according to the Gridding methods (격자화 기법에 따른 이산지형정보의 보간특성 연구)

  • In a grid based data transformation, the different gridding methods provide different interpretations of scattered data because each method calculate grid node values using a different weighted mathematical algorithms. Therefore, it is necessary to review the interpolated characteristics of some gridding methods according to search distance, search area and search options before determing the best method with a data set. For this, in this paper, six different gridding methods with the same search conditions are applied to a scattered data obtained from sterro-plotter. The interpolated characteristics of the scattered geographic data considered through comparison of coincidence between the data point and the grid node being interpolated. And also, shows the real application of gridding methods through calculating volumes and creating cross sections.

Efficient Hole Searching Algorithm for the Overset Grid System with Relative Body Motion (상대운동이 있는 중첩격자계에 효율적인 Hole Searching Algorithm 개발)

  • Object X-ray method commonly used for hole search in overset grids requires huge amount of time due to complicated vector calculations to search the cross-points as well as time-consuming hole search algorithm with respect to background grids. Especially, when the grid system is in motion relative to the background, hole points should be searched at every time step, leading to hung computational burden. To cope with this difficulties, this study presents an efficient hole search algorithm mainly designed to reduce hole searching time. To this end, virtual surface with reduced grid points is suggested and logical operators are employed as a classification algorithm instead of complicated vector calculations. In addition, the searching process is further accelerated by designating hole points in a row rather than discriminating hole points with respect to each background grid points. If there exists a relative motion, the present algorithm requires much less time because only the virtual surface needs to be moved at every time step. The hole searching time has been systematically compared for a few selected geometries.

Effective Estimation of Porosity and Fluid Saturation using Joint Inversion Result of Seismic and Electromagnetic Data (탄성파탐사와 전자탐사 자료의 복합역산 결과를 이용한 효과적인 공극률 및 유체포화율의 추정)

  • Petrophysical parameters such as porosity and fluid saturation which provide useful information for reservoir characterization could be estimated by rock physics model (RPM) using seismic velocity and resistivity. Therefore, accurate P-wave velocity and resistivity information have to be obtained for successful estimation of the petrophysical parameters. Compared with the individual inversion of electromagnetic (EM) or seismic data, the joint inversion using both EM and seismic data together can reduce the uncertainty and gives the opportunity to use the advantages of each data. Thus, more reliable petrophysical properties could be estimated through the joint inversion. In this paper, for the successful estimation of petrophysical parameters, we proposed an effective method which applies a grid-search method to find the porosity and fluid saturation. The relations of porosity and fluid saturation with P-wave velocity and resistivity were expressed by using RPM and the improved resistivity distribution used to this study was obtained by joint inversion of seismic and EM data. When the proposed method was applied to the synthetic data which were simulated for subsea reservoir exploration, reliable petrophysical parameters were obtained. The results indicate that the proposed method can be applied for detecting a reservoir and calculating the accurate oil and gas reserves.

  • 프로그램 소스코드 표절 검사에 대한 기존 방법은 크게 지문(finger-print)법과 구조기반 검사법으로 나뉘며, 주로 단어의 유사성이나 발생빈도를 사용하거나 소스코드 구조상의 특징으로 두 소스간의 유사성을 비교한다. 본 연구에서는 프로그래밍 언어의 예약어 시퀀스를 사용하여 소스코드들 간의 유사성을 비교하고, 이 결과를 FCA(Formal Concept Analysis)를 통해 해석하고 시각화 하는 방법을 제시한다. 일반적인 VSM(Vector Space Model)과 같은 단일 단어 분석으로는 단어의 인접성을 구분할 수 없으므로 단어의 시퀀스 분석이 가능하도록 알고리즘을 구성하였으며 이러한 방식은 지문법의 단점인 소스코드의 부분적인 표절 탐지의 난점을 해결할 수 있고 함수의 호출 순서나 수행 순서에 상관없이 표절을 탐지할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 마지막으로 유사도 측정결과는 FCA를 이용하여 격자(lattice)로 시각화됨으로써 이용자의 이해도를 높일 수 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the grid search method for selecting an optimal decision tree model. It chooses optimal values for the maximum depth of tree and the minimum number of observations that must exist in a node in order for a split to be attempted. Therefore, the grid search method guarantees building a decision tree model that shows more precise and stable classifying performance. Through empirical analysis using data of job satisfaction of workplace reserve force commanders, we show that the grid search method helps us generate an optimal decision tree model that gives us hints for the improvement direction of labor conditions of Korean workplace reserve force commanders.

  • The problem of the bridges(Hasjiwokakero, Hasi) puzzle, which connects the bridge(edge) required by the island(vertex) without crossing the horizontal and vertical straight bridges except for the diagonal to form a connected network, is a barren ground for research without any related research. For this problem, there is no algorithm that presents a generalized exponential time brute-force or branch-and-bound method. This paper obtained the initial solution of the lattice graph by drawing a grid without diagonal lines for a given BP, removing unnecessary edges, and supplementing essential bridges. Next, through insufficient island pair path matching, the method of adding insufficient edges to the route and deleting the crossed surplus edges(bridges) was adopted. Applying the proposed algorithm to 24 benchmarking experimental data showed that accurate solutions can be obtained for all problems.

  • Since the previous cut-and-try design algorithm require much cost and time, it has recently been concerned the automatic design technique using the CFD and optimum design algorithm. In this study, the Navier-Stokes equations is solved to consider the more detail viscous flow informations of cascade interaction and O-H multiblock grid system is generated to impose an accurate boundary condition. The cubic-spline interpolation is applied to handle a relative motion of a rotor to the stator. To validate present procedure, the time averaged aerodynamic loads are compared with experiment and good agreement obtained.   • The conventional cold-heading process for the production of a bolt-shaped product is composed of some process and two or three blows heading. The strength of a bolt-shaped product produced by multi-blow heading depends on the working conditions of the heading process such as preforming die angle, corner-radius of the necked portion of product, and the reduction in height during pre-forming. Arigid-plastic finite-element program(RDHPSC) has been coded and the program testified by comparison with the results of experimentation. A method of testing the optimum die-conditions in the double-blow heading process by use of RDHPSC analysis is discussed a fundamental structures of CAD/CAPP system for two-blow heading process is discussed.

3D Image Mergence using Weighted Bipartite Matching Method based on Minimum Distance (최소 거리 기반 가중치 이분 분할 매칭 방법을 이용한 3차원 영상 정합)

  • In this paper, to merge whole 3D information of an occluded body from view point, the new image merging algorithm is introduced after obtaining images of body on the turn table from 4 directions. The two images represented by polygon meshes are merged using weight bipartite matching method with different weights according to coordinates and axes based on minimum distance since two images merged don't present abrupt variation of 3D coordinates and scan direction is one direction. To obtain entire 3D information of body, these steps are repeated 3 times since the obtained images are 4. This proposed method has advantage 200 - 300% searching time reduction rather than conventional branch and bound, dynamic programming, and hungarian method though the matching accuracy rate is a little bit less than these methods.

  • Frequency-domain and time-domain induced polarization methods can provide spectral information about subsurface media. Analysis of spectral characteristics has been studied mainly in the frequency-domain, however, time-domain induced polarization research has recently become popular. In this study, assuming a homogeneous half-space model, an inversion method was developed to extract Cole-Cole parameters from the measured secondary potential or electrical resistivity. Since the Cole-Cole parameters of chargeability, time constant, and frequency index are not independent of each other, various problems, such as slow convergence rate, initial model problem, local minimum problem, and divergence, frequently occur when conventional nonlinear inversion is applied. In this study, we developed an effective inversion method using the initial model close to the true model by introducing a grid search method. Finally, the validity of the developed inversion method was verified using inversion experiments.
