  • In this paper, the dedicated short range communication(DSRC) system which used as the automatic gate system(AGS) Donga Univ. RRC developed is applied to yard automation. We proposed the communication algorithm of between roadside equipment(RSE) and on-board equipment(OBE). We analyzed transmitted and received information, classification and feature of between OBE and RSE for automation of the container yard and unloading system.

  • Recently, a container shipping volume has increased dramatically and continued on a trend of rapid growth, and so the number of container handled at the port increase. therefore, it's increasing about concern of harbor automatism to save distribution costs in harbor. harbor automatism classifies into four large automatism's, gate automatism by using RFID that trailer come with burdening the container to be loaded on ships go though with RFID and Quay-Side container crane automatism that treats cargos loading on ships and automatism of CG that loads containers from yard, and automatism of container transporters that carries containers in between gates. To increase the using efficiency of harbor, detecting exact location of yard crane is very important matter. In this paper, it intends to discuss about yard crane automatism applied UWB Ranging system and bring up the development direction.

  • 2005년 유틸리티 산업분야 국제표준 규약으로서 IEC61850이 발표된 이후, 변전소 자동화 시스템 설계 및 구현을 위한 새로운 패러다임으로 인식되고 있다. 현재, 유럽시장을 중심으로 IEC61850 규약과 호환되는 많은 제품들이 출시되고 있고 다양한 구현사례를 통해 그 적용가능성 및 타당성이 검증되고 있다. 그러나, 변전소 자동화의 기본 통신규약으로서 IEC61850이 도입될 경우, 이미 기존에 설치되어 운용중인 수많은 전력설비 감시/제어 시스템 및 상위 제어센터와의 통신 호환성 문제가 발생되며, 향후, IEC61850 기반의 디지털변전소 확대 적용에 장애 요인으로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 IEC61850 기반의 변전소자동화 용 게이트웨이 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 제안된 시스템은 기존에 운용되고 있는 전력설비 감시/제어 시스템과의 호환성 제공은 물론, 변전소 내의 IEC61850 IED들과 상위제어센터 내의 송변전 SCADA 시스템간 통신 및 상호운영성을 제공한다. 또한, 시스템의 가용성 및 신뢰성을 보장하기 위한 이중화 메커니즘을 지원한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 외부와 유무선 접속기능을 갖는 무인창구 자동화기기(CD, ATM, 통장정리기, 발권기, 무인자동발급기, 지하철 게이트 등)를 인터넷망에 접속하여 기기의 장애/ 이력 관련정보를 Server의 데이터 베이스에 저장하고, 인터넷에 접속되어 있는 A/S 센터에서 필요한 정보를 쉽고 효율적으로 검색, 운용할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하는 방법을 제시한다.

  • Up-to-date cargo transport system, CVO(Commercial Vehicle Operations) is the system to manage efficiently cargo distribution as providing at real time the information of cargo location and situation through ITS and GPS technology. In this paper, we proposed the Gate Automation System of harbors among AEI/AVI. To implement his system, we use the DSRC/RFID(Dedicated Short Range Communication / Radio Frequency IDentification) which adopts an wireless communication between RSE(Road-side Equipment) and OBE(on-Board Equipment) on a vehicle. When constructing the Gate automation system of harbors, the business application ability are reviewed practically and the logistics facilities to be constructed in the near future may use this project results according to the international standard and it could help complete integrated logistics system.

  • TETRA(Terrestrial Trunked Radio) is the standard of D-TRS(Digital Trunked Radio System) developed by the ETSI(European Telecommunications Standards Institute). Currently, TETRA has been selected as Electric Power IT Wireless Backbone Network. Traditional distribution automation system has used the wireless network of Mobile Service Provider using CDMA(Code-Division Multiple Access) and WCDMA(Wideband CDMA) modem. Therefore, the development of gateway platform is indispensable according to the change to TETRA network. In this paper, we propose an embedded Linux-based Gateway platform for transmitting Industrial Electric Power IT protocol using TETRA network.

  • This paper describes the method of efficient container number recognition in colored container image with number plate at ATC(Automatic Transfer Crane) in container terminal yard. At the Sinseondae terminal gate in Busan, the container number recognition system is installed by "intelligent port-logistics system technology development", that is government research and development project. It is the method that it sets up the tunnel structure inside camera on the gate and it recognizes the container number in order to recognize the export container cargo automatically. However, as the automation equipment is introduced to the container terminal and the unmanned of a task is gradually accomplished, the container number recognition system for the confirmation of the object of work is required at ATC in container terminal yard. Therefore, the container number recognition system fitted for it is necessary for ATC in container terminal yard in which there are many intrusive of the character recognition through image including a sunlight, rain, snow, shadow, and etc. unlike the gate. In this paper, hardware components of the camera, illumination, and sensor lamp were altered and software elements of an algorithm were changed. that is, the difference of the brightness of the surrounding environment, and etc. were regulated for recognize a container number. Through this, a shadow problem, and etc. that it is thickly below hung with the sunlight or the cargo equipment were solved and the recognition time was shortened and the recognition rate was raised.

터미널 게이트의 유비쿼터스 연계효과에 대한 연구

  • 컨테이너터미널의 Gate는 컨테이너의 출입구를 의미하는 것 외에 컨테이너 정보의 최초 입력점이라는 중요한 의미를 가지고 있다. 따라서 컨테이너 정보의 정확한 습득을 위해 다양한 컨테이너 변호 인식방법이 사용되고 있으며, 이러한 적용방법에 따라 Gate의 생산성에도 많은 차이가 발생하고 있다. 최근, 정부의 u-IT사업추진에 따라 적용되기 시작한 RFID를 이용한 Gate자동화 방식은 기존시스템에 대한 새로운 접근을 요구하게 되었다. RFID를 이용함에 따라 각 시스템의 단점을 보완하는 정성적 이점과 더불어 정량적 생산성 향상이라는 기대치도 높아지게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 RFID를 이용한 Gate 자동화 시스템과 기존의 Gate시스템과의 생산성 차이를 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증함으로써 RFID 방식의 Gate를 고려하고 있는 컨테이너터미널에 관련된 정보를 제공하고자 하였다.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented Thing Connected-Green, a self-installing agricultural automation system capable of remote monitoring and control based on Low Power Wide Area communication technology (LPWA). Farming requires water, sunlight, soil, fertilizer, temperature control, etc., and these elements can be remotely monitored and controlled using an automated system. Using this system, it is possible to construct an agricultural automation system which can be optimized according to the kind of plant and cultivation environment from vinyl house to flower garden. The information gathered from the sensor is stored in the server through the gateway, and the optimal cultivation environment can be set and operated using the smart phone based on the big data.
