Adaptive Algorithms for Yaw Moment Distribution with ESC and ARS (적응 알고리즘을 이용한 ESC와 ARS 기반 요 모멘트 분배)

  • This paper presents an application of adaptive algorithms for yaw moment distribution with electronic stability control (ESC) and active rear steering (ARS) in integrated chassis control (ICC). Integrated chassis control consists of upper- and lower-level controllers. In the upper-level controller, the control yaw moment is computed with sliding mode control required to stabilize a vehicle. In the lower-level controller, adaptive algorithms are applied to determine the required brake pressure of ESC and the necessary steering angle of ARS, in order to generate the control yaw moment. Simulation is performed using the vehicle simulation package CarSim to validate the proposed method.

  • A wall flow sensor has been used for feedback flow control and wall shear stress measurement. In this study, we developed a new wall flow sensor by combining the PIV algorithm and the micro image sensor used in an optical mouse. The feasibility of the wall flow sensor was investigated by using simulated fluid flow experiments. Compared with the quadrature signal from imaging devices, the accuracy of the wall flow velocity measurement was improved and the dynamic range increased. In addition, the depth information of particles was also measured by using the defocusing imaging technique.

  • This paper presents the development of a deadweight type 6-component force/moment generator for estimating characteristics of multi-component loadcell. Several new methods in moment generation are introduced in order to produce accurate force / moment and to minimize coupling effect between each force or moment components. In order to verify the reliability of the calibration system developed, estimation of the method for generating moment components and cross measurements between force or moment components are carried out utilizing a commercial torque cell and both-ends fixed beam designed in this paper.

  • This paper describes the development of gimbals engine actuation system for KSR(Korean Sounding Rocket)-III which performs the attitude control of pitch and yaw axes by thrust vector control of liquid propellant gimbals engine. The development requirements of configuration, performance and environment are introduced, and the principles and details of components and system development are discussed. The developed system successfully fulfilled its own performance and environmental evaluation. It will be planned to perform verification of interface and integration compatibility with other related systems, and then mounted on KSR-III as a flight hardware system.

  • Minimization of conventional propulsion device has been studied for altitude control of micro satellite. We studied micro nozzle performance and found higher significant loss for a micro nozzle with smaller nozzle throat diameter. To overcome this loss, we proposed thermal transpiration based micro propulsion system. This new system has no moving parts and can control flow by temperature gradient, and this can be an option for potential new micro propulsion system.

  • National Radio Research Agency(RRA) has legislated technical regulations of telecommunication equipments. These technical regulations are related to safety of operators and users, service quality, accessibility for the disabled, interoperability and network connection of terminal equipment. Also, RRA drives the establishment or amendment of technical regulations for terminal equipment considering the evolution of ICT technicology and diversification of services. In 2013, RRA researched the amendment of technical regulations in relation to terminal equipment, which are related to the measurement frequency for signal band power, unwanted signal power, pulse shape.

  • 본 논문에서는 광대역 입력전압에 대응 할 수 있는 직류 변환 장치(DC-DC Converter)의 제어기의 모델링 및 제어 방법에 대해서 제안한다. 일반적으로 직류 변환 장치의 주된 목적은 입력되는 직류 전압에 대해서 출력전압을 지속적이고 안정적으로 유지해 주는 것이다. 따라서, 안정적인 출력 전압을 얻는 방법으로서 제어되지 않은 직류 변환 장치에 입력전압을 안정적으로 공급해주는 방법도 고려해 볼 수 있으나, 이릴 경우 입력전류의 변화나 입력 전압이 지속적으로 변하는 경우에 대처 하기 어렵다. 따라서, 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해서 출력전압을 궤환 시키고 이 신호에 의해 직류 변환 장치를 제어하는 방법을 고려한다. 또한, 단순한 제어기를 사용할 경우 그 입력전압의 범위가 소자의 한계와 안정성으로 인하여 국한적으로 한정되므로, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 다수의 컨버터를 연결하고 이것을 프로세서를 사용하여 제어하는 방법을 설계한다. 모델링된 직류 변환 장치는 불연속선형 시스템(Piecewise Linear System)으로 해석되어 질 수 있으며, 아울러 각기 다른 입력 범위에서 동작하는 컨버터들에 대해서도 모델링되어야 한다. 또한 일정 간격의 입력 범위내에서 서로 다른 컨버터들을 동작시켜 줄 수 있는 방법도 고려한다. MATLab을 이용하여 파워 컨버터의 성능을 입증하고, 아울러 실제 회로의 실험을 통하여 결과를 검증한다.

Performance Test of C-shape Steel Base Isolation System (C형 강재 지진격리장치의 성능시험)

  • This paper introduces the performance of a newly developed base isolation system made from the combination of a polyurethane disk - attached pot bearing and C-shape steel dampers. Ultimate compressive load tests, ultimate rotation tests, dynamic tests, and dynamic load repeat tests have been completed to determine dynamic characteristics and to verify performance characteristics. The experimental results are compared with the analytic results. It is determined that all requirements for bridge bearing in the specifications are satisfied, and that adequate energy dissipation has occurred. The EDC and effective stiffness estimated by tests are similar to the theoretical values.

  • A dual pulse solid rocket motor has several advantages compared to the single one. The range and the terminal velocity of the guided missile can be remarkably increased by the application of the pulse separation device(PSD) to the solid rocket motor which resulted in appropriate thrust distribution. In this study, the subscale dual pulse solid rocket motor with the bulkhead type PSD was designed, manufactured, and fire-tested. The bursting pressure, thermal characteristics, and the structural safety of the PSD were obtained by the tests and the results will be applied to the design of full-scale dual pulse rocket motor.

  • 전기 유압식 좌심실 보조장치에서 모터 전류 파형을 정보로 하여 작동기의 이완기 속도를 조절함으로써 좌심방으로부터 유입되는 혈류량을 조절하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 좌심실 보조장치(Left Ventricular Assist Device, LVAD)는 허혈성 심장질환 등으로 좌심실 의 혈액 박출 기능이 저하된 환자에게 시술하여 정상 상태의 심박출량을 유지할 수 있도록 하는 보조 혈액 박출 기능이이다. 전기 유압식 좌심실 보조장치에서는 혈액의 유입이 능동 적으로 이루어지므로, 좌심방 함몰로 인한 심근 손상 및 외부 공기 유입으로 인한 색전증을 방지하기 위해 유입혈류량을 현재 좌심방내의 상태에 따라 적절히 조절해 주어야 한다. 좌 심방 내의 혈액량 정도는 혈액을 유입해 내는 작동기의 이완기 동작 시에 소모되는 에너지 크기에 반영되고, 작동기를 구동하는 모터에 들어가는 전류의 크기는 작동기에 공급되는 에 너지에 비례하므로, 이전류 파형의 정보들을 통해 좌심방내의 상태를 추정해 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지로직을 적용하여 모터 전류 파형의 정보들을 통해 좌심방 내의 상태를 추정 해 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지로직을 적용하여 모터 전류 파형의 이상 유무를 판단한 뒤 에에 따라 작동기의 이완기 속도를 조절하는 알고리즘을 개발하여 모의순환장치 실험을 통해 그 실효성을 검증한 결과를 정리하였다.
