A Study on the Improvement of Technical Regulation for Terminal Equipment connected to Wired Broadcasting and Communications Facilities

방송통신 유선 설비에 접속되는 단말장치 기술기준 개선 연구

National Radio Research Agency(RRA) has legislated technical regulations of telecommunication equipments. These technical regulations are related to safety of operators and users, service quality, accessibility for the disabled, interoperability and network connection of terminal equipment. Also, RRA drives the establishment or amendment of technical regulations for terminal equipment considering the evolution of ICT technicology and diversification of services. In 2013, RRA researched the amendment of technical regulations in relation to terminal equipment, which are related to the measurement frequency for signal band power, unwanted signal power, pulse shape.

국립전파연구원에서는 방송통신설비의 운용자 및 이용자의 안전과 서비스 품질 향상을 위하여 위해 방지 및 오용, 고장 방지, 장애인에 대한 접근의 용이성, 단말장치간 상호호환성, 전송 품질과 망 접속 등에 관한 단말장치의 세부 기술기준을 정하여 고시하고 있으며, 방송통신설비 기술의 발전과 서비스의 다변화에 빠르게 대응하기 위하여 단말장치 기술기준의 제 개정 연구를 추진하고 있다. 2013년 신규 융합 서비스 및 초고속 인터넷 서비스의 확산, 방송통신 서비스의 품질 제고를 위해 단말장치의 신호 전력 측정 대역의 확장과 의사회로의 대체 종단 사용 기준, 디지털 회선 접속 단말의 펄스 형상 기준 등에 대한 연구를 추진하고 이에 대한 타당성 검증을 위한 테스트베드 시험 결과를 제시하였다.
