경량벽체 표면의 패임에 대한 시각적 판단방법에 관한 기초적 연구 (A basic study on Visual judgment method for the Dent of Lightweight wall surface)

  • Recently, there has been a rapid increase in demand for lightweight walls for their use as interior partitions, as types of structure have gradually changed from shear wall structures to column structures or flat plate column wall systems. The lack of resisting force in lightweight walls is found by measuring the depth of dents in impact resistance tests, but it is not a direct factor of impact resistance. However, in the user's position, dents of over a certain size are clearly a factor that visually reminds the need for repair. In this study, we reviewed relative methods of assessment of the need for repair based on the visual means of determination (sensory test) on the dents on lightweight walls. Dents were found to stand out starting from depths of about 4mm, and the depth of roughly 5mm was found to be the criterion for determining the necessity of repair for men, while it was 4mm for women.

고성능 콘크리트의 표면기포 저감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Surface Air-Void Reduction of High Performance Concrete)

  • In this study, reduction methods of surface air void were examined for high performance concrete having high viscosity. The effects of assumed influencing factors such as form types, form-coating materials, tamping equipments and methods were examined based on the tests on mock-up specimens made of high performance concrete. The test results can be summarized as follows: As for form types, the most favorable results were obtained when coated plywood form was used with panel-shape tamping equipments at the contact region with concrete, the second and the third being the water/air-permeable sheets and steel with coated plywood, respectively. As for tamping equipments, a vibrator with 6.5cm diameter was most effective. Finally, the shorter the tamping intervals, the better the reduction effect of surface air void. As a conclusion, an improved method was proposed to reduce surface air void and it was verified with the test result that only four air voids as large as $5{\sim}10mm$ are found in the are of $1m^2$.

서점의 적재가연물의 연소특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Combustion Characteristics of Live Fire Load in a Bookstore)

  • 건축물 적재가연물은 종류 및 양 등의 특성에 따라 화재지속시간과 화재규모 등에 크게 기여한다. 서점은 다른 건축용도보다 가연물이 다량 적재되어 있으므로 화재발생시 화재위험성이 클 가능성이 있다. 그러나 한편으로는 서점 내부의 서적은 연소하면 탄화층이 형성되고 적재가연물량에 비해 노출표면적이 작기 때문에 화재시 열분해가스의 생성이 작을 가능성도 있다. 이러한 가능성을 다양한 실험을 통해 파악하여 서점의 화재안전설계에 합리적으로 반영할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 서점의 성능위주설계에 활용하기 위하여 적재가연물을 재현한 시험체를 가열로에 넣고 ISO834-1:1999 표준가열곡선에 따라 가열하는 일련의 실험을 실행하였다. 이 실험 결과를 바탕으로 서점의 적재가연물의 연소발열성상을 파악하고 성능위주설계에 필요한 연소속도 및 열방출률 등을 제시하였다.

  • In the modern construction industry, since numerous skyscrapers have been built, there have been sought for developing various kinds of methods for shortening a construction period. Therefore, many kinds of studies on some kinds of cold-weather concrete have been conducted actively for the purpose of a year-round construction. Accordingly, this research team once developed a double-layered bubble sheet as a surface-coated curing material for winter. And there have been raised some worries that some initial damages to frozen concrete caused by low temperature of reinforcing bars which are exposed out of the wall areas of a wall-type apartment during winter. Therefore, in this study, it is intended to find out clearly whether it is possible for concrete to be damaged initially or not by analyzing the temperature characteristics of the exposed reinforcing bars of the wall areas under the temperature conditions during winter.

  • Emissions of CO2 occur during the production of cement manufacturing process. During the production of clinker, limestone is mainly calcium carbonate, is heated to produce lime and CO2 as a by-product. It has a major problem, CO2 uptake is not considered in concrete carbonation, just focus in CO2 emission. This study is to develop a simulation model for CO2 uptakes in concrete structures based on carbonation reduction coefficient considering finishing materials. CO2 uptakes unit of concrete cubic meter is calculated by CO2 emissions unit of concrete materials and usage of concrete materials in mix proportion. From the simulation result, CO2 uptake ratios is 2.04 percent in carbonation models of concrete structure during 40 years.

  • This study investigates the field application of surface insulation curing method, which combined double layer bubble sheet(DBS) and thick-curing-material(TCM) for cold weather concreting. According to the test, deck slab, curing only upper section with DBS and TCM, does not make big different temperature history with that, curing both upper and bottom section during daily average temperature 6.5t. It is concluded that combination of DBS and TCM in only upper section can be safely cured in early period of time during cold water concreting. The field test was carried out with this favourable data. The upper deck slab was insulated by combination of DBS and TCM, and the construction was surrounded by tent. in order to protect from outside wind. The test result shows that the lowest temperature of deck slab indicated 6$ ^{circ}C $. It demonstrated that this curing method can resist early frost and save construction cost in the side of management and saving labor cost, compared with previous method. In addition, the column specimen, combined both form and bubble board, exhibited favorable temperature history, due to internal hydration heat insulation effect.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the curing effect of planar surface heater for concreting in cold weather. Some experiments were conducted to evaluate the temperature history of concrete structures cured with heating sheets. Results are as follows ; (1) The temperature of concrete showed continuously rising trend with the heating by planar surface heater under the cold environmental condition of 3~-12$^{\circ}C$. And after about 24 hours the maximum temperature of concrete was reached at 25~3$0^{\circ}C$. (2) The temperature of slab concrete heated by planar surface heater of 130W/$m^2$ was at least $25^{\circ}C$ higher than that of an exterior air, and the curing performance was much more effective than heating by hot wind machine. (3) Through the curing by planar surface heater for 48 hours, the concrete maturity of about 1.5 times to heating by hot wind machine was acquired.

공동주택에 발생되는 0.3mm미만 미세균열의 보수공법 적용을 위한 근거 마련 기초연구 (Repair method application for micro-cracks of less than 0.3 mm width in residential apartment buildings)

  • Cracks are typical defects that occur in concrete structures. When cracks occur in the structure, durability reduction, concrete neutralization, and steel corrosion cause functional safety problems. In order to prevent such cracks, surface repair method is performed for cracks smaller than 0.3 mm and rechargeable method is performed for cracks larger than 0.3 mm. However, even if it is applied by the surface repair method at less than 0.3 mm, re-leakage cracks continue to occur. Recently, the Supreme Court ruled that the rechargeable method should be applied to cracks less than 0.3mm in order to reduce the occurrence of defects. However, it was considered that the repair fees were too high relative to the observed defect rate, resulting in a necessitation of modifying the existing construction analysis administration standards. This study analyzes the differences in the subjective views on the durability degradation with regards to surface repair methods in concrete structures.

공동주택의 실내부 표면적 및 사용 마감재 구성 실태분석 (Real Survey on Interior Surface Area and Applied Finishes in Recently-Planned Apartment Houses)

  • This paper is an outgrowth of many years of practicing real interior work projects and one of my responses to the question not only about the actual dimension of interior work surface but also about the classification of contemporary finishing materials in basic interior project of high-rise apartment houses. For this purpose, 8 conventional apartment units which are already-built or designed have been surveyed and the results are interpreted in the form of proportion of space and finishes. The data can be applied to make up a schematic design in the selection of environment-friendly interior works and assessment of the degree of sustainability. For further study, the basic data provided here can be used as an index to differentiate the occupants' desire toward green interior design for their own apartment spaces, comparing to the conventional interior work in the Korean market. Not surprisingly, wall paper is dominated to make the interior surface in apartment houses. In the percentile of the utilization of finishing materials, wood-flooring and coating materials like wet paint also ranked at the upper position.

발수제가 수성페인트의 물리적 성능에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Water-Repellent on the Physical Properties of Water Paint)

  • 본 연구는 외부 표면마감 재료로서 발수제를 직접 혼입한 수성페인트의 내구성능을 분석하여 실제 현장에 적용하기 위한 실용성을 평가하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 일반적 성능 및 발수효과 실험하였으며 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 실제 현장에서 적용하기 위한 하나의 공법으로서의 가능성을 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 열전도성, 통기성, 흡수성 및 부착강도의 성능 실험에서도 수성 페인트에 발수제를 혼합하여 마감재료로 사용하는 것은 적정한 것으로 판단된다. 일반적인 내구성능을 종합적으로 고려해 볼 때 혼합비율은 2, 5, 8% 범위가 안정적인 것으로 판단된다.
