Effects of Water-Repellent on the Physical Properties of Water Paint (발수제가 수성페인트의 물리적 성능에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to analyze durability of water-repellent paints mixed with water-repellents as outer surface finishing materials, and evaluate its feasibility. General functions and water-repelling effects were tested, and the feasibility was evaluated based on the test results. The experimental results of heat conduction durability, air permeability, absorption, and bond strength suggested that water-repellent paints mixed with water-repellents were suitable for finishing materials. Considering overall general durability performances, stable mixing ratios were 2, 5, and 8%.

  • Additive manufacturing (AM, also known as 3D printing) technology gets attention for various effects in the construction industry. It reveals abilities of process automation, high traceability of resource management, construction period precision improvement, and worker safety. However, unlike the existing construction technology, the development of AM construction process causes trial errors and unpredictable accidents. In the present study, the construction AM process is designed for on-site construction, and it performs with empirical tests. Also, we analyzed the causes of qualitative experimental results.

Proposal of a Classification System of Checklists for Safety Management of On-Site Workers in Modular Construction (사례분석을 통한 모듈러 건축의 현장 작업자 안전관리 체크리스트의 분류 체계 제안)

  • Recently, the government is reinforcing safety management at construction sites to prevent safety accidents in construction works, and the safety management plan of workers is an important situation. Meanwhile, modular construction is expected to be gradually expanded to middle and high-rise buildings, but active measures to ensure worker safety are insufficient. This study is a preliminary study of the development of a checklist for preventive worker safety management. The purpose of this study is to derive a checklist classification system for the safety management of workers in the field of modular construction by preceding studies, case analysis, and expert advisory opinions. The classification system consists of large categories of factory manufacturing, transportation, and on-site construction, and the sub-system consists of six sub-classes: foundation work, frame work, modular frame installation work, finishing work, and facility work. Among them, the sub-classification of modular frame installation work consists of 12 unit works, centering on module lifting and assembly module work, which are the main construction processes. And the classification system reflects the three main management factors and contents for defined safety management. It is expected that the research results of this study can contribute to efficient safety management at the modular construction site.

A Study on the Economical Efficiency and Cost Analysis of Winter Construction by Application of Insulated Gang-form (동절기 단열갱폼으로 인한 경제성 효과 및 투입 원가 분석 연구)

  • This paper verifies the superiority of warming work in winter by applying the insulation gang-form to the apartment housing site and analyzes the economic feasibility of the application. According to the experimental results, the actual cost of warming work was about 52 million won less than planned, and 160 million won less than the existing average.(Note - The cost of gang form material increased from 260 million won to 310 million won after the change) As a result, the construction cost could be reduced by about 110 million won. As the costs of warming work can change depending on the number of floors, the building number, and the area of each site, it is deemed necessary to conduct a thorough review in advance at the site where the cost of warming work is to be applied.

호주 노사관계에서의 한국계 이주노동자의 노동실태 - 건설산업 타일직종의 사례 -

  • 이 논문에서는 호주에서 한국계 이주자가 다수 취업하고 있는 건설산업의 타일직종의 사례를 중심으로 한국계 이주노동자의 노동실태를 밝힌다. 건설현장의 사례조사를 통해 중층적 하청구조의 말단에 편성된 타일노동조직인 노무재하청업체의 작업방식 및 생산성관리, 숙련구분 및 임금결정, 임금수준 등 기타 노동조건을 구체적으로 규명한다. 그리고 이를 호주의 노사관계에서 제도화된 자영청부방식 및 자영청부공의 노동조건 등과 비교한다. 사례조사는 2006년도에 시드니지역 상업용 건축부문의 타일시공현장 두 곳을 대상으로 이뤄졌다. 두 곳의 건축현장 모두 노조가 활동하는 현장임에도 불구하고 한국계 이주 타일노동자는 공식적인 노사관계제도가 적용되지 않는 무협약상태에 있다. 건설산업의 최저 노동조건이라고 할 수 있는 전국재정 마저도 적용되고 있지 않다. 그들이 공식적인 노사관계제도의 적용으로부터 배제된 근본적인 이유는 타일회사로부터 타일시공을 다시 하수급하는 한국계의 노무재하청업체(오야까따)에 고용되어 있기 때문이다. 타일회사나 빌더는 1990년대 후반부터 다수 유입되기 시작한 한국계 타일공을 이와 같은 노무 재하청방식으로 사용하고 있는 것이다. 건설노조는 확대되는 노무재하청에 대해 한국계 타일노동자를 대상으로 한 여권조사, 임시고용비자 및 타일청부면허 취득 캠페인 등의 활동을 통해 불법취업자의 사용을 금지하는 한편 한국의 타일기능공을 자영타일공으로 전환시켜 노사관계 질서를 세우려 하였다. 그러나 이러한 노조의 활동에도 불구하고 기업협약에 의해서 명문으로 금지되고 있는 노무재하청의 관행이 전혀 개선되지 않고 있다. 노무재하청 관행에 대한 건설노조 정책의 가장 곤란한 문제점은 노무재하청을 행하는 당사자인 재하청업자를 한국계 타일노동자 조합조직의 중심으로 하고 있으며, 또 하지 않을 수 없는 점에 있음을 양국 간의 숙련구분 및 임금제도 비교분석을 통해 밝혔다.

An Analysis of the Current State of Window Constructions in Small-scale Private Architecture in Consideration of the Energy Consumption Efficiency Rating System (소규모 민간건축에 있어서 에너지소비효율등급제를 고려한 창호공사 현황분석)

  • At present, in the case of small and medium window manufacturers in South Korea, glazing and window frame manufacturers are divided into separate businesses. However, in the fenestration energy consumption efficiency rating system and the energy-saving design criteria for buildings, the coefficient of overall heat transmission standard for windows is defined by window sets, which integrate glazing and window frames. At most construction sites, windows are constructed by installing separately supplied glass and frames. Research that can integrate the reality and the system is therefore necessary. The present study first investigated and analyzed the on-site situation of the fenestration energy consumption efficiency rating system. According to the results, while overall understanding of the fenestration energy consumption efficiency rating system was high, satisfaction with it was low, and the general practice at construction sites was to use windows assembled on site rather than integrated window systems manufactured at factories, thus making it difficult to confirm that the current rating system was well applied on site. Consequently, the reality of industrial sites must be reviewed and a realistic alternative to the fenestration energy consumption efficiency rating system must be presented instead of focusing on theory.

A Study on the Improvement of Technical Guidance Fee for Preventing Accidents at Small-Medium Construction Sites (중·소규모 건설현장 재해예방 기술지도 대가 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Under Korean law, small-to-medium-sized construction projects with budgets of more than 100 million won and less than 12 billion won must receive technical guidance by a visiting technician belonging to a specialized institution. This study proposed a method for calculating the technical guidance fee to prevent the potential inadequacy of technical guidance when the responsibility providing the technical guidance fee is changed from a contractor to a client. The method simplified the construction works which should receive technical guidance into four sections according to the construction amount. For each section, the number of instances of technical guidance per day provided by the visiting technician and the minimum technical grade of the visiting technician were limited, and the guideline for estimating engineering services fees was applied to calculate the fee per instance of technical guidance. The results show that the proposed method can be applied to the establishment of a technical guidance fee guideline since it well reflects the current fee distribution and K2B analysis results.

  • Recently, As the high rise buildings have been demanded due to the rising current of land price, the permanent drainage method have been applied during and after the construction as a way to reduce the buoyancy acting on the bottoms of the foundations in the basement. This method has brought about the consolidation subsidence of the ground and turned out to be the problems of sinking hole and foundation re-settlement. The representative methods to be used for extending the life cycle of the existing building structure which is tilted by the foundation re-settlement or differential settlement of the foundation can be divided into the building structures reinforcement and soil reinforcement. The purpose of this study is to analyze and present the application example of steel pipe pile method to extend the life cycle of the six -stories building tilted in a soft ground.

  • This technology is a water leak repair technology using composite materials of concrete structures that block leakage of structures by injecting rapid microcement into the face of underground concrete to block water and injecting flexible glycidylacrylate. Rapid micro cement system repair materials are mixed with fine fibers to improve the flexural sensitivity of the material and to form a layer that blocks stabilized water at the back of the structure by allowing rapid and tight spatial filling during injection with high cohesion The glycidylacrylate repair material can control the expansion rate, and the external stress also has the characteristic that the form of the material is not destroyed or separated, which can also be applied to vibrating induced structures that produce repetitive fatigue loads, and has an effective durability in saline, alkali, acid (chloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid).

리모델링을 위한 최신 구조 보강 기법

  • 10년도 넘었을까 모처럼 유럽을 여행할 기회가 있었다. 우리나라는 온 국토가 공사장이나 진배없던 시절이라 그곳의 풍경이 오히려 이채로웠다. 자동차를 타고 한참을 가야 그것도 별로 크지 않은 공사장을 볼 수 있었고, 그나마 신축공사 보다는 오래된 건물을 보수하는 것들이 더 많았다. 더구나 희한한 것은 대로에 면한 고색 창연한 건물의 외벽만을 텔레비전 세트처럼 남겨두고 그 뒤편에서는 전혀 새로운 공사를 하는 것도 눈에 들어왔다. 조상들의 유적을 외관만이라도 보존하도록 법제화되었으므로 여기저기 떨어져 위치한 100년도 넘은 집에다 따로따로 최신형 공작기계를 설치한 공장에서 제품을 생산하는 비능률을 감수하는 것도 볼 수 있었다. 물론 변두리 신시가지에서는 현대 감각이 물씬한 건물도 신축하고 있었는데, 대체로 리모델링 사업규모가 전체 건축 물량의 50% 정도는 될 것이라는 설명이었다. 필자는 그때 우리도 머지 않아 그런 시절이 도래할 것이라는 확신이 있었다. 더구나 그들의 건물들이 100년 이상을 버티는데 반하여 우리네 것들은 수명이 고작 20~30년 밖에 되지 못할 정도로 부실하기 때문이다. 그때부터 기존 건물의 내력 부족분을 보완하고 용도를 변경하거나 증축을 할 때 어떤 방법이 합리적일까 하는 것에 관심을 가지고 연구하게 되었다. 바닥 슬래브나 보를 잘라버리거나 새로 덧붙이기도 하고 심하면 기둥을 솎아낼 필요가 있을 수도 있다. 그러나 유감스럽게도 대부분의 경우는 그동안 열심히 고안한 방식을 실무현장에 적용할 수 있도록 받아들이는 당사자가 별로 없었다. 첫째 이유는 처음하는 일이라 말하자면 겁이 난다는 것이고, 둘째로는 새로운 방식을 믿고 시행하려 해도 실제로 책임지고 시공하겠다고 나서는 업체를 만날 수 없어서였다. 그래서 그동안 설계뿐만 아니라 시공까지 일일이 간섭하여 어렵게 시행했던 현장 경험들을 소개하여 앞으로 비슷한 조건을 만날 경우 참고할 수 있게 한다. 우선 기둥을 솎아 내는 것을 알아보고 앞으로 기둥, 보, 슬래브, 기초 등의 새로운 보강방법을 소개하고자 한다.
