  • This study was attempted to suggest a new viewpoint to regulate foundation myth as Akijangsu legend narrative's antistructure. The problem is that Akijangsu legend has been regulated as reversed narrative of foundation myth in precedent research history. Following this viewpoint, it is impossible to explain context that Gangchaeyoon's Akijangsu narrative is collected in Sejong's sovereign myth. But Gangchaeyoon is changed as helper to found ideology order and his Akijangsu narrative is collected in sovereign myth's context. Therefore in this point it is necessary to sound out foundation possibility of new thesis the found myth is reversed narrative of Akijangsu legend. Choosing this standpoint, it is possible to regulate Sejong's sovereign myth as narrative dramatization of successful Akijangsu legend. At the same time it is possible to regulate Cheongkijun as Akijangsu that was situated in Sejong's sovereign myth as antagonist, competing and failing with Sejong to replace existing order by own ideological order. This study investigated that found myth is reversed narrative of Akijangsu legend.

  • C. G. Jung believed that universal and basic condition of human's Unconscious comes out from Märchen or mythology. We can easily experience these universality of human nature in dreams. Therefore, It is very important to interpret mythogens that appear in myths and märchen in analytical psychology to understand these 'big dreams' which could be seen in clinical practice. As I was interested in interpreting myths in analytic psychology, I tried to find universality of archetypes in Korea's traditional folk tales and took note of the birth myth of Hyeokgeose, the founder of Shilla dynasty, while examining the chater of the Unsual in history in the Heritage of the Three Kingdoms. Shilla was founded earlier than two other countries, but it was located in the very south of the Korean Peninsula, and it was behind times in politically, militarily, and culturally compare to Goguryeo and Baekje. However, Shilla achieved unifying the Three Kingdoms and it lasted 1000 years, the longest unified history in Korean history. I tried to examine archetypes in the birth myth if there are any backgrounds that are related to finding a Shilla Kingdom. It is noted that myth of the founder of Korean Peninsula's small Kingdom Shilla has complete story from before the birth to birth, birth of spouse, growth, marriage, accession, governing, death, after death, and succession. Symbols such as numbers 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 13 and 61, various azimuthes including north, west, south, east, and central, animals like tiger, white horse, hen, dragon, phoenix, and snakes, natures like main symbol egg, rock, gourd, lightening, spring water, stream, tree, forest, mountain, iron and goddess-image like seon-do Holy Mother gradually appears in the myth. These symbols could show a meaning of human experience such as birth of Conscious, growth and development of paternal and maternal love, and story of regeneration and extinction. Moreover, It could be seen as these progress eternally continues in next generation. I have found out that a word, a sentence or stories that looks meaningless in myth revealed its true symbolical meaning. In addition, interaction between Unconscious and Conscious repeats in different forms, and expressed in layered.

  • This paper examines that determinants of BAOMAI, (i.e., behavior of Chinese tourist bulk purchase in duty free shop) with analytical framework and empirical tests. The results of applying the structural equation modeling to 196 samples suggest that Chinese tourist consumption orientations (conspicuous/compulsive/unplanned consumption) have a positive effect on BAOMAI decision value chain (perceived value and loyalty). The marketing mix of duty free shop as control variables in research framework also have a positive effect on BAOMAI perceived values (functional/social/emotional value). This paper has a contribution to prior literatures: the first empirical analysis on BAOMAI determinants with exploring scholarly definition.

  • Lee Neung Hwa is a scholar of the late Joseon Dynasty, renowned for his studies of Korean studies. In this thesis, the study of Confucianism and Buddhism removed the research and teachings of Confucianism as a traditional study of Confucianism. Lee Neung Hwa criticized the social functioning of Confucian texts during the late Joseon Dynasty. His criticisms reflect the historical consciousness of the late Joseon Dynasty. Lee Neung Hwa is also known as the Buddhist religion. The History of Chosun Buddhism is his masterpiece. He pointed out the differences between the Buddhist scriptures of the Joseon Dynasty and the Japanese Buddhist scriptures. Moreover, the Joseon Dynasty felt more integrated into the Japanese Buddhist kingdom than in Japan. And ineunghwa also studied the mythology of Korea. He established a universal cultural phenomenon as a universal cultural phenomenon, which belongs to any ethnic Koreans. He insisted that the Sin Gyo of Dan Gun is the identity of Korean culture. His Founding Myth was not a matter of historical fact. His Founding Myth was a tool of ideological struggle to fight against Japanese imperialism.

  • [Go-Choseon], the first volume of Samgukyusa, is composed of two parts, the part of myth and that of history. There are very similar divinities between Hwanwoong in the myth of Dangun and YanDi-ShenNong of China: the solar divinity essential for survival of mankind and agriculture, the agriculture divinity said to have taught fanning, the medicine divinity said to have taught the characteristics of herbs and how to prevent diseases, the cultural hero who delivered civilization, and son on. During the transition from the age of myth to the age of history, the roles of gods had changed from the creation of the world to civilization and rule. The roles of Hwanwoong and YanDi-ShenNong were civilization and it was related with their divinities. Hence, regardless of a little difference, the myth of Hwanwoong and that of YanDi-ShenNong were created at the same stage of spiritual and material civilizations of Korea and China. This paper looks at the essence of [Wiseo] and the age of Hwanwoong through historical records. In my opinion, [Wiseo] is not a chinese history' book. The record, "According to [Wiseo] there had been Dangun-Wanggum 2,000 years ago" indicates the time [Wiseo] was written. 'Wi' means Wlman-choseon. Going back about 2,000 years from Wiman-choseon, the historical dates of the establishment of [Go-Choseon] almost dovetails to the age of King 'lao. So, there is a possibility that [Wiseo] is a history book of Wiman-Choseon dynasty which was written to prove the legitimacy of the dynasty by showing it succeeded to the Dangilll-Choseon dynasty. The sentences, "governed the country for 1,500 years" and "conferred Gija the position of king of Choseon" are very important records showing the age of the establishment of Dangun-Choseon. Gija came to Choseon in B.C 1122 when Yin replaced Zhou in the Choinese Continent. From the fact that Dangun had governed Choseon, we could reason out that Go-Choseon was established in B.C. 2622 that is much eariler than the era of king Yao, and that corresponds 'With the era of HuangDi(B.C 2698-2358). Hence, the era of Hwanwoong, the father-god of Dangun, might be later than B.G 3000 which conforms to the era of YanDi-ShenNong(B.C 3218-2600). Therefore, this paper contends lhat Hwanwoong and YanDi-ShenNong played the role of civilization in the same era [Go-Choseon], the first volume of Samgukusa is philologically very valuable material for research on the origin of Korean nation and its ancient history.

  • 2000s Korean cinema was influenced by capital, so it chose the way of Allegory instead of talking directly about sensitive issues. A representative movie director is Park Chan Wook who directed The Vengeance Trilogy. , The final part of Park Chan Wook's The Vengeance Trilogy, reflected Baroque Aesthetics. I analyzed focusing on Walter Benjamin's Allegory notion in this paper. Walter Benjamin said Allegory is different from a symbol which is represented by totality. Allegory means to reconstruct the fragment instinctively and to expose something repressed. The German Tragic Drama during the baroque period reflects this well. It is my argument that Park Chan Wook incorporated these underlying themes from German Tragic Drama into . He deconstructed the liberation and the birth myth of a nation, and he restored the socialist and anarchist who were completely excluded from history.

  • The purpose of this study is to compare the academic achievements of these two eras with the content and performance of the bronze ware decorative patterns in the Song dynasty and age of the Minguo. We investigated the origins and developmental process of the bronze ware decorative pattern research in Chinese bronze research history and examined their academic value. Studying bronze ware is a scholarly study. In the past, research focused on classifying letters on bronze ware. However, research on bronze ware decorative patterns was neglected. Bronze ware decorative patterns are associated with archeology and mythology studies and provide important clues as to the imagination of ancient people. The study of bronze ware in China began with the Song dynasty. Since then, research on bronze ware has been revived in the Qing dynasty, although there has been no academic achievement regarding bronze ware decorative patterns. However, at the age of the Minguo, the achievements of bronze ware decorative patterns continued to follow the Song dynasty.
