Railroad Noise and its Impact (철도소음과 그 영향)

  • 철도는 대량수송 및 정시제 운행이라는 중요한 역할을 하면서도 다른 한편으로는 철도연변에 거주하고 있는 사람들에게 상당한 소음공해를 미쳐 정온한 생활환경을 누릴 권리를 침해하고 있음에도 불구하고 철도소음을 관리하는 기준이나 대책등이 아직 미미한 실정이다. 향후 5년 내에는 고속철도의 등장도 확실하지만 기존 재래식 철도에 대한 소음 실태 자료마저 충분치 않아 철도연변의 소음진동 문제를 해결하기 위한 기본적 수단인 소음 기준 제시를 위해서는 폭넓은 기초 자료확보와 새로운 관련연구가 요청되었다. 이러한 필요성에 따라 전기기관차를 중심으로 영동선, 중앙선, 태백선, 경인선, 경원선 및 대도시 도심지를 관통하는 호남선 및 경부선 중에서 측정환경이 양호한 22개 지역을 선정하여 기존 철도의 구간별 30분, 1시간, 2시간, 3시간 등가소음도를 측정하였고 선로의 조건, 열차의 종류 및 속도, 거리권별 등에 따른 개별열차 통행시의 소음특성을 조사하여 철도소음의 기준 설정과 방지대책 강구시에 활용할 수 있도록 하며, 열차 통행속도로부터 최고소음도를 추정하여 주변지역의 등가소음도를 산정할 수 잇는 예측식을 도출하여 측정방법 개정에 활용하고, 그리고 선로변에 위치한 공동주택을 대상으로 층별 철도소음 노출도와 열차통과시의 공동주택 실내.외의 소음도를 비교조사하여 벽체 차음 효과를 조사하였고 철도소음에 대한 주민반응 조사를 하였다.

  • 사상의학은 개인별 체질의 분류에 따른 맞춤형 의학으로 우리나라 고유의 독특한 전통 의학이다. 이와 같은 사상의학에서 가장 중요하게 여겨지는 것이 사상체질의 정확한 분류이다. 따라서 사상체질 분류에 대한 객관적 요소의 확보 및 진단 지표 마련이 시급하게 해결되어야 할 과제이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 사상체질 분류의 객관화, 정량화 및 시각화를 위해 얼굴 영상 신호와 음성 신호를 분석하여 결과값을 추출하고 체질별 집단군간의 차이점을 비교하여 사상체질 분류 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 특히 영상 및 음성 신호는 성별, 연령별, 지역별 등의 구분에 따라 달라지기 때문에 본 논문에서는 40에서 50대 사이의 장년 여성을 대상으로 서울지역 거주자에 한해 사상체질 집단군을 구성하고 이들의 영상 및 음성 신호를 추출하여 체질간 비교, 분석을 수행하고자 한다. 최종적으로 실험을 통한 연구 결과의 유의성을 입증하고자 한다.

  • 최근 국내에는 실업률 상승, 혼인률 하락 등 청년층 생애주기 변화, 단독거주, 고령층의 증가에 따라 1인 가구가 빠른 속도로 증가하고 있다. 이러한 추세는 지속될 것으로 예상되어 1인 가구를 겨냥한 맞춤형 보안솔루션에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사물 인터넷 기술을 적극적으로 접목할 수 있을 것으로 기대되는 디지털 도어락의 구현에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 사물 인터넷 기술은 5G 시대의 도래에 따라 다시금 주목받고 있다. 이는 4차 산업혁명 시대의 핵심 기반 기술로 주요 IT 기업들이 상용화 기술 확보를 추진하고 있는 상황이다. 한편 디지털 도어락은 열쇠가 필요하지 않으며 위급상황이나 안전상황에 클릭 한번으로 출동 요원의 출동을 곧바로 요청할 수 있어 고객에게 편의성과 보안성을 제공한다. 하지만 비밀번호 방식의 디지털 도어락은 주기적으로 비밀번호를 교체해주지 않는 이상 지속적으로 같은 자리의 버튼만을 누르게 된다. 이렇게 되면 해당 위치에 지문이 남아서 비밀번호가 노출될 위험이 있다. 그러나 사물 인터넷 기술을 이용한 디지털 도어락을 사용하게 된다면 안전한 도어락 사용으로 주거 보안을 실현할 수 있다. 따라서 1인 가구를 노리는 범죄를 예방하기 위해 라즈베리 파이와 아두이노의 UART 통신, 머신러닝 CV를 이용하여 얼굴 인식으로 동일인임을 판단하는 디지털 도어락을 구현했다.

A Study on the Effects of an Increase in the Height of Ship's Accommodation Area on Safe Evacuation in Emergency Situation (선박 거주구역의 높이가 피난안전에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • Unlike land fires, Fires on board a ship are not likely to be extinguished by skilled human resources using a variety of fire fighting equipments, but have to be brought under control on board a ship itself despite of difficult task. There are more cases of deaths from suffocation by smoke than from an increased temperature by heat in fires on board ships, because crew fail to secure a sufficient visibility range enough to escape from the scene of a fire or to leave the ship as early as possible. On the assumption that the height of ship's accommodation area increases from 2.0m to 2.3m comparable to the height of apartments on the ground in Korea, behaviors of fire smokes between the cases of 2.0m and 2.3m heights were compared and analyzed. Based on the blue print of the existing Training Ship "Hanbada", a new blueprint with the 30 cm height adjustment was additionally created. FDS (Fire Dynamic Simulator), which was created by the NIST in the United States and is the most widely distributed simulator for fires, was used to conduct a simulation and predict results. The results of simulation on the basis of temperature of $60^{\circ}C$ showed a safe evacuation period of time at the position 10m apart from the scene of a fire to increase by 55.8 seconds, when the height of ship's accommodation area increased from 2.0m to 2.3m. The results of simulation on the basis of visibility range of 6m showed the safe evacuation periods of time at the positions 10m, 20m and 30m apart from the scene of a fire to increase by 27.1 seconds, 109.2 seconds and 73.3 seconds, respectively, as the height of ship's accommodation area increased from 2.0m to 2.3m. This means that crew can escape more safely from a scene of fires on board when the height of ship's accommodation area is increased and equal to the height of living room in a building on land.

University Students' Recognition of Eco-friendly Recycled PET Textiles (대학생들의 친환경 리싸이클 폴리에스터 섬유에 대한 인식도)

  • 본 연구에서는 친환경 리싸이클 섬유산업의 활성화를 위해 대학생들의 리싸이클 폴리에스터 섬유에 대한 인식도를 분석해 보고자 하였다. 측정 문항은 섬유전문가 3인의 검토를 거쳐 타당성을 확보하였으며, 조사는 질문지법으로 2011년 9월 1일부터 9월 10일까지 대전 거주 대학생을 대상으로 진행하였으며, 회수된 설문지 196부를 자료 분석에 이용하였고, SPSS 19 통계 패키지를 이용하여 자료를 통계분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 친환경적 의생활 실태 조사를 실시한 결과, 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대해 들어본 적이 있는 사람은 조사대상자의 27.6%로 나타났고, 그 정보원으로는 인터넷을 가장 많이 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 2. 섬유소재별 친환경성에 대한 인식도를 조사한 결과, 대학생들은 리싸이클 PET섬유가 천연섬유보다 덜 친환경적이나, 인조섬유보다는 더 친환경적이라고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대한 인식도를 요인분석한 결과, <친환경성 요인>, <촉감 요인>, <내구성 요인>, <기능성 요인>, <공정 요인>, <글로벌 경쟁력 요인>및 <부가가치성 요인> 등 7개의 요인이 도출되었는데 이는 대학생들은 리싸이클 PET섬유에 대해 친환경성, 촉감, 내구성, 기능성, 공정, 글로벌경쟁력, 부가가치성순으로 중요하게 인식하는 것으로 해석된다.

Study of the Residential Environment and Accessibility of Rehabilitation for Patients with Cerebral Palsy (뇌성마비 환자의 주거 환경과 재활 접근성에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This study examined the residential environment and accessibility of rehabilitation for cerebral palsy (CP) to identify the problems with residential laws pertaining to the disabled and provide basic data on the health legislation for the rights of the disabled. Materials and Methods: The literature was searched using three keywords: residence, rehabilitation, and accessibility. Two items were selected: residential environment and rehabilitation accessibility. The questionnaire included 51 items; 24 were scored using a Likert scale and 27 were in the form of multiple-choice questions. Results: This study included 100 subjects, of which 93 lived at home and seven lived in a facility. Of these 93 subjects, 65% were living in apartments, usually two or more floors above ground, and 40% of them were living without elevators. According to the Gross Motor Function Classification System, subjects with I to III belonged to the ambulatory group and IV, V were in the non-ambulatory group. Subjects from both groups who lived at home found it most difficult to visit the rehabilitation center by themselves. In contrast, among those who lived at the facility, the ambulatory group found it most difficult to leave the facility alone, while the non-ambulatory group found it most difficult to use the toilet alone. Moreover, 83% of respondents thought that rehabilitation was necessary for CP. On the other hand, 33% are receiving rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation was performed for an average of 3.6 sessions per week, 39 minutes per session. Conclusion: There is no law that ensures secure and convenient access of CP to higher levels. Laws on access routes to enter rooms are insufficient. The disabled people's law and the disabled person's health law will be implemented in December 2017. It is necessary to enact laws that actually reflect the difficulties of people with disabilities. Based on the results of this study, an investigation of the housing and rehabilitation of patients with CP through a large-scale questionnaire will necessary.

A Study on the Acceptability and Preference of Electric Car for Consumers through the Selective Model (선택 모형을 통한 소비자에 대한 전기자동차 수용성 및 선호도 연구)

  • The automobile industry in Korea is a very large industrial sector. Nowadays, as the interest in low carbon green growth grows all over the world, it is time to actively secure future competitiveness of the automobile industry. Therefore, it is essential to study consumer attitudes and intentions for electric vehicles at the time when technological and social changes are expected. This study was conducted to investigate the acceptability and preference of electric vehicle for 250 people. The results are as follows. As the monthly income and the number of residents increased, the decision was made to accommodate the electric vehicle. The larger the effect of the electric vehicle on the consumers, the more the electric car decided to accommodate the electric car. In addition, three demographic characteristics (monthly income, number of residents, residence type) showed that there was a difference in satisfaction of electric vehicles. As a result of analyzing the satisfaction level of the electric vehicle, it was found that the electric vehicle has a satisfactory effect on the consumer, the electric vehicle is about 3.5 times more satisfying, and the larger the interest of the electric car is, the more the electric car is about 2.1 times.

Life Satisfaction Depending on Digital Utilization Divide within People with Disabilities (스마트 도시(Smart City)의 데이터 경제 구현을 위한 개인정보보호 적용설계(PbD)의 도입 필요성 분석)

  • In order to implement smart cities that will become living spaces in the fourth industrial revolution era, detailed privacy information such as residents' living information, buildings and facilities information must be collected and processed in real time. While city functions and convenience for individuals are being facilitated, threats to personal information exposure and leakage are also likely to increase at the same time. Therefore, the design concept for personal information protection should be considered and accordingly reflected from the stages of smart city design, technology development and operation planning of intelligent information (AI) facilities. The results of the analysis show that for activation of smart cities and operation of data-driven cities, the concept of Privacy by Design (PbD) has already been introduced in the institutional, industrial and technological aspects, particularly in the cases of European countries and the US. In order to strengthen the local and global competitiveness of smart cities and the country, Korea also needs to actively deploy PbD as a strategy to secure a data-driven economy, which is the core strategy for smart cities. Therefore, the study suggests policy implications focused on approaches to legislative improvement and technology development support, which reflect the basic properties of PbD as defined in the study.

  • This paper presents a scheduling technique that reflects various constraints in remodeling project of inhabited condition. The remodeling project of inhabited condition is required more detailed planning and control due to claims by noise, vibration, dust, smells, limited lift capacity, and limited temporary stock area. Because of the constraints, complexity in scheduling is increased and earlier completion is required to reduce the possibility of safety and environment accidents. Especially, in case of inhabited condition, the scheduling should be linked day-time/night-time/weekend work. This paper proposes a structured scheduling technique to incorporate those constraints in remodeling of inhabited condition. This scheduling technique considers not only remodeling process but also dismantling, newly-construction, and residents movement. Process expression method using MS-Project also presented to keep connectivity with existing scheduling system.

An Exploratory Study on the impact of EU Adequacy Decision on GDPR compliant companies (EU 적정성 결정이 GDPR 대상기업에 미치는 영향에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • The EU enacted a law strongly regulating the GDPR to protect the privacy of its citizens on 25 May 2018. Compliance with GDPR is an essential prerequisite for companies to enter the European market in the global economic era. In this paper, Step-by-step measures have been defined to conclude DPA agreements for the appropriate level of protection against EU personal data transfer. To explore the benefits and expected effects of determining appropriateness at the government level. As a result, enterprises benefit from simplifying processes, reducing time, and reducing costs when entering the EU. Government-level support in response to personal data breach and communication with the EU Commission will have a positive impact, However, even after the adequacy decision, the entity continues to need activities to secure personal data through compliance with GDPR principles and obligations. Major operations of companies that comply with GDPR are also maintained as important tasks that must be observed in most cases except for the Data Protection Agreement.
