The Effects of Team Learning Behavior, Individual Creativity, Team Shared Mental Model, Mutual Performance Monitoring on Team Creativity in the College Classroom (팀 학습행동, 개인 창의성, 팀 공유정신모형, 상호 수행 모니터링이 대학 수업에서 팀 창의성에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship among team learning behavior, individual creativity, team shared mental model(TSMM), mutual performance monitoring on team creativity and then providing the fundamental data on the education. Also it intended to acknowledge relative predictive power on team creativity of independent variables. The total of 257 college students participated the team learning for 6 weeks in a semester. Pearson's product moment correlation and regression analysis were used for data analysis and testing of significance of verification, The main research results are summarized as follows; team learning behavior, TSMM, mutual performance monitoring had no significant effects on three subfactors of team creativity such as novelty, resolution, elaboration & synthesis. Therefore followed researches are needed about inter and intra processing of team creativity.

The Study of the Effects of College Student's Creativity and Self-efficacy on Entrepreneurial Intention (대학생의 개인 창의성과 자기효능감이 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to research the effect of college student's creativity and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention. The creativity was comprised of fluency, originality, flexibility, logicality, risk-taking, and openness. The data was collected through a survey using college students as objects and 265 copies of the questionnaires were eventually. The study result was as follows. First, originality and risk-taking of the creativity appeared to have a positive effect (+) on entrepreneurial intention. On the other hand, fluency, flexibility, logicality and openness of the creativity appeared to have no effect on entrepreneurial intention. Secondly, self-efficacy appeared to have a positive effect (+) on entrepreneurial intention. The academic implications of this study were: first, under the situation of which the studies about creativity on entrepreneurship are rather inadequate, this study is carried out with respect to influential factor of creativity in regard to entrepreneurial intention, second, obtained the result that the effect of which creativity has on entrepreneurial intention varied for each characteristic of creativity. In practise, this study implies that entrepreneurial intention can be increased through practical and systematic entrepreneurship education designed for increasing creativity and self-efficacy.

Mediating Effects of Intrinsic Motivation on The Relationship Between Positive Psychological Capital, Psychological Empowerment and Creativity (긍정심리자본, 심리적 임파워먼트와 창의성의 관계에서 내재적 동기의 매개효과 검증)

  • This study examined the relationship among PsyCap(positive psychological capital), psychological empowerment, personal creativity and verified the mediated effects of intrinsic motivation in this relationship using the SEM(Structural Equation Model). For this study, the data was collected through on/off-line surveys of members and managers from 12 different enterprises. Among the 418 answers from voluntary participating employees, 332 answers were finally used for statistical analysis. The results were as follows. First, PsyCap had a positive influence on the intrinsic motivation and personal creativity. Second, Psychological Empowerment had a positive influence on intrinsic motivation, but psychological empowerment has no influence on creativity. Third, intrinsic motivation had a meaningful influence by partially mediating PsyCap and personal creativity but completely mediated psychological empowerment and personal creativity. This study focused on intrinsic motivation among the internal factors that have influences on showing personal creativity and has importance in the point that it has suggested the statistical significance by analyzing the psychological/emotional mechanism to reinforce this intrinsic motivation in a positive way. Positive analysis on the relationships among these variables suggests a theoretical meaning on providing a future direction for the study and practical meaning on providing ideas to reinforce the employees' personal creativity. The Relationships among Family-Friendly Culture, Intrinsic Motivation, Team-member Exchange(TMX), and Creativity in ICT Company (ICT기업에서 가족친화적 조직문화, 내재적 동기부여, TMX, 창의성의 관계)

  • This paper investigates the relationships among family-friendly culture, intrinsic motivation, team-member exchange(TMX), and creativity in ICT(information & communication technology) company. Also the study investigates the moderator effect of TMX and the mediator effect of intrinsic motivation in the relationships between family-friendly culture and creativity. A structural equation modeling(SEM) was employed to test the hypotheses. Using survey data collected from 229 R&D department and support personnel in ICT company. The main finding of this study was as follows: First, a family-friendly culture had a negative effect on employee creativity. Second, intrinsic motivation had a positive impact on employee creativity. Third, a family-friendly culture had a positive effect on intrinsic motivation. Fourth, intrinsic motivation mediated effect on the relationship between a family-friendly culture and employee creativity. Fifth, the positive relationships between a family-friendly culture and intrinsic motivation were stronger when TMX was high rather than low. In particular, this review concludes with implications for future research, limitations of this study, and practical application.

  • Creativity has been suggested as a prime educational objective by national curriculum of Korea and research on creativity education has been increased since 2000s. How the researcher conceptualizes and approaches creativity affects the research. The purpose of this study is to explore directions of creativity research in education by analyzing its approach based on its categories and levels of creativity. The results of the study shows the following: (1)studies with a definition of creativity are more than without it but the former has been decreasing and the latter increasing little by little. (2)Studies which focus on person, cognitive or emotional characteristics, are the most. And process, environment, and product follow. (3)Regarding the levels of creativity, most was done on little-c creativity level, on the other hand, very limited studies conceptualized the creativity in educational context. Studies having an interest in mini-c creativity level were hardly found.

  • 창의성 연구는 개인적, 사회적 맥락에서 고려해야 할 다양한 시사점을 가진 분야이다. 하지만 지금까지 창의성 연구는 창의성 자체에 대한 개념이 명확하지 않을 뿐 아니라, 창의성을 태어날 때부터 타고나는 고유한 영역이라는 인식 때문에 그에 대한 연구가 비교적 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 창의성이 새로운 정보를 기존 지식과 결합하여 이를 문제상황에서 적용하여 유용함을 입증하는 행위라는 전제하에, 각 개인에게 내재된 창의적 사고 능력이 특정한 지시 혹은 학습방법(소리내어 가르치기)의 경험을 통해 발현될 수 있으리라 보았다. 창의성의 핵심요소인 통합적, 분석적, 실용적 사고능력을 측정하여 창의성이 높고, 낮은 집단을 구분하고, 이를 근거로 게임 규칙을 소리내어 가르치기 경험을 한 집단과 통제집단(단순암기)으로 각각 구분하여 게임에서 승리, 즉 창의적 문제해결이 소리내어 가르치기 방법을 통해 실현될 수 있음을 알아보고자 했다. 창의적 사고능력은 소리내어 가르치기를 경험한 집단에서 유의미하게 발현되었다. 또한 소리내어 가르치는 경험을 한 실험참가자들은 프로토콜 분석에서 보다 정교화된 게임의 규칙을 생성하였으며, 게임의 규칙을 정확히 알고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 가르치는 경험을 통해 새로운 정보를 보다 잘 조직화하고, 이를 실제 문제상황에 적용한 것으로 해석되었다.

  • 이 연구의 목적은 중학교 의생활수업에 대한 창의적 문제해결 수업모형 적용에 있어 창의성 증진효과를 검증하는데 있다. 연구는 중학교 1학년 2개 학급의 남·녀 81명의 학생을 대상으로 하였으며, 가정과 의복의 재활용 단원 수업을 실험반과 비교반으로 나누어 동일한 교사에 의해 주당2시간씩 4회 실시하였다 실험반에는 창의적 문제 해결 수업모형이 적용되었으며, 비교반에는 전통적 수업이 적용되었다. 창의성검사는 한국창의성연구소의 창의성 검사지를 사용하였으며, 사전검사와 사후검사가 동일 검사지로 이루어졌다. 자료의 분석은 사전검사에서 두 학급간의 창의성에 의미있는 차이가 나타나, 두 학급간의 창의성의 차검증에서 사전검사의 영향력을 배제하기 위하여 ANCOVA분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 창의성의 유창성 , 융통성 , 독창성 세 개의 하위요인 점수와 이를 합산한 전체 창의성 점수에서 모두 창의적 문제해결 수업 모형을 적용한 실험반의 점수가 통계적으로 의미 있게 높은 것으로 나타났다 이러한 결과를 통하여 볼 때 창의적 문제해결 수업모형을 의생활 수업에 적용하였을 때 창의성이 증진된다고 할 수 있으며 , 중학교 뿐 아니라 고등학교 및 초등학교에서의 창의성 증진을 목표로 하는 의생활 수업에도 적용 가능할 것으로 보며 후속 연구의 수행을 제안하는 바이다.

  • The interest in enhancing creativity in the areas of education and business is at on all time high. It was claimed that there are two underlying assumptions behind the research in enhancing creativity: One is that creativity is a construct revealing individual differences, and the other is that creativity is a cognitive skill. After the origins of these assumptions were examined, their validity was discussed. It was argued that there is no strong empirical evidence to support these assumptions, although they are still viable working hypotheses. A brief discussion on the future direction was followed to identify creativity as a cognitive skill revealing individual differences.

A Study of Mathematically Gifted Student's Perception of Mathematical Creativity (수학 창의성에 대한 초등수학영재들의 인식 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to study the perception of mathematical creativity through gifted elementary mathematics students. The analysis on perception for mathematical creativity was done by testing 200 elementary school students in grades 4, 5, and 6 who are receiving gifted education in elementary mathematics gifted class operated by ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ City Dept of Education through the questionnaire that was developed based on Rhodes' 4P theory. This survey asked them to name what they think is the most creative from educational programs they have as far received. Then we analyzed the reason for the students' choice of the creativity program and interviewed the teachers who had conducted chosen program. As a result of analyzing the data, these students chose as mathematical creativity primarily creative problem solving, task commitment, and interest in mathematics in such order. This result is explained through analyzing the questionnaire that was based on Rhodes' 4P theory on areas of process, product and press. The perception of mathematical creativity by the gifted mathematical students not only helps to clarify the concept of mathematical creativity but also has implication for future development for gifted education program.
