Usability Evaluation for Medical Institutions Websites (의료기관 웹 사이트에 대한 사용성 평가)

  • 웹 사용성(Web usability)은 웹 사이트 이용자가 원하는 목표를 보다 쉽게 달성하도록 시스템을 설계하는 것으로 이용의 편이성을 말한다. 본 연구에서는 국내 의료기관 웹 사이트를 대상으로 사용성 평가를 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 의료기관을 종합병원, 대학병원, 일반병원 3개의 그룹으로 나누고 각 그룹에서 4개씩 총 12개 병원을 선정하여 평가하였으며, 사용성 평가를 위해 평가 전설문지, 태스크 수행 평가, 평가 후 설문지 그리고 평가자 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 설문지 결과와 인터뷰 결과를 볼 때, 대다수의 병원들이 예약과 취소, 정보검색 등 웹 서비스 제공에 노력을 기울이고 있지만 실제 사용자는 병원의 주요 서비스를 이용하는데 있어서 편리하다고 느끼지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 태스크 수행 평가 결과를 살펴보면, 대학병원은 다른 그룹과 비교해 볼 때 비교적 사용성을 고려하여 잘 설계되었으나 서비스 절차의 단순화 작업이 필요하다고 판단되며, 일반병원의 경우 태스크 수행과 관련된 서비스 자체가 제공되지 않거나 체계적이지 못한 경우가 있어 개선이 필요하였다.

A Study on Formulating Internet Marketing Strategy by Analyzing Web Site of Special Libraries (전문도서관의 웹 사이트 분석을 통한 인터넷 마케팅 전략 수립에 관한 연구)

  • Library marketing receives an attention as one of the methods to vitalize library use and to improve the value of libraries. In this study, librarians' perceptions of library marketing and PR were surveyed. The study also examined various library marketing and PRs that are practiced by special libraries via their web sites. Research library web sites were analyzed using a analytic tool that is composed of four categories and 19 sub categories, which is derived from the previous literature. The four major categories include visibility, fundraising, & networking, information, and communication. The findings of the study offer some suggestions for Internet marketing strategies that can be applicable to digital libraries.

Breaking character and natural image based CAPTCHA using feature classification (특징 분리를 통한 자연 배경을 지닌 글자 기반 CAPTCHA 공격)

  • CAPTCHA(Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a test used in computing to distinguish whether or not the user is computer or human. Many web sites mostly use the character-based CAPTCHA consisting of digits and characters. Recently, with the development of OCR technology, simple character-based CAPTCHA are broken quite easily. As an alternative, many web sites add noise to make it harder for recognition. In this paper, we analyzed the most recent CAPTCHA, which incorporates the addition of the natural images to obfuscate the characters. We proposed an efficient method using support vector machine to separate the characters from the background image and use convolutional neural network to recognize each characters. As a result, 368 out of 1000 CAPTCHAs were correctly identified, it was demonstrated that the current CAPTCHA is not safe.

A Study on the Design of the Knowledge Management System for Medical Information Services in a Public Library (공공도서관 의학정보서비스를 위한 지식관리시스템 설계에 관한 연구)

  • Consumer health information is receiving more attention than ever before. This growing attention can be linked to the Internet and to people seeking more information on health topics. The purpose of this study is to suggest a design of the Knowledge management system for medical information services in a public library. As theoretical backgrounds, it discusses the issues regarding to the medical information services in a public library, knowledge management and knowledge management system. After that, 12 medical information sites are analyzed then the planning and the main menu of a medical information site for a public library are described. Finally, the model of the knowledge management system for a public library with 5 sub-systems are suggested: 1) knowledge creation system, 2) technology support system, 3) training system, 4) community service system, 5) knowledge sharing and network system. This system based on knowledge management will help provide the users high quality of medical information.

Differentiation Strategies for a Women Portal Site: An Empirical Study (여성 포탈 사이트의 차별화 전략에 관한 실증 연구)

  • The recent survey shows that female web-suffers in Korea make up to 45.3% of total netizens and this growth will be continued. While the market in women portal sites is spotlighted recently, a brand power of a women portal site is still weaker to compete with other general portal sites. To be competitive, the women portal site should implement differentiation strategies. The primary objective of this research is to suggest the differentiation strategies for a women portal site based on the 6C (contents, community, commerce, connection, communication, and customizing). To achieve this goal, the questionnaire is posted on the web site and 348 samples are analyzed. As a result, the 15 differentiation strategies that are validated via the web-survey are presented. The results of this study are expected to help companies develop appropriate strategies for women Internet users.

Prediction of Protein-Protein Interaction Sites Based on 3D Surface Patches Using SVM (SVM 모델을 이용한 3차원 패치 기반 단백질 상호작용 사이트 예측기법)

  • Predication of protein interaction sites for monomer structures can reduce the search space for protein docking and has been regarded as very significant for predicting unknown functions of proteins from their interacting proteins whose functions are known. In the other hand, the prediction of interaction sites has been limited in crystallizing weakly interacting complexes which are transient and do not form the complexes stable enough for obtaining experimental structures by crystallization or even NMR for the most important protein-protein interactions. This work reports the calculation of 3D surface patches of complex structures and their properties and a machine learning approach to build a predictive model for the 3D surface patches in interaction and non-interaction sites using support vector machine. To overcome classification problems for class imbalanced data, we employed an under-sampling technique. 9 properties of the patches were calculated from amino acid compositions and secondary structure elements. With 10 fold cross validation, the predictive model built from SVM achieved an accuracy of 92.7% for classification of 3D patches in interaction and non-interaction sites from 147 complexes.

  • 인터넷의 급속한 발전으로 매우 많은 정보와 다양한 컨텐츠가 개인 사용자들에게 제공되고 있다. 또한, 개인을 고객으로 하는 각종 포탈 사이트들이 많이 생성됨에 따라 고객 개인을 위한 고객화된 정보가 매우 중요한 하나의 컨텐츠로 작용하고 있다. 하지만, 현재 국내외 전자상거래를 주목적으로 하는 포탈 사이트의 시스템들은 고객에 관한 정보를 단순한 개인 프로파일로 활용하고 있을 뿐 고객 정보를 이용하여 더 많은 개인화된 새로운 정보를 창출하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문은 고객에 대한 정보를 세분화하고 분석하여 제3의 개인화 정보를 생성하여 자동으로 각 개별 고객에게 개인화된 정보를 제공해 줄 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하고자 한다. 고객의 이메일 오픈율과 마우스 이벤트 정보를 분석 및 계산하여 개별 고객에게 고객의 관심정보 및 관심 컴포넌트를 생성한 후 관심정보와 관심 컴포넌트를 이용하여 개별 고객의 관심 정보를 고객이 선호하는 이메일 규격 및 양식에 맞게 에이전트를 통해 자동으로 재구성하여 푸쉬해 주는 개인화 메일 자동 생성에이전트 시스템을 개발하고자 함이 본 논문의 목적이다.

A Study on the Structure and Content Analysis of Art Museum Websites in Korea (미술관 웹 사이트의 구조 및 콘텐츠 분석에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze art museum websites and derive implications for future operation of art museum websites. To this end, this research collected basic information about art museums according to '2018 National General Report of Cultural Infrastructure' and investigate the websites of 30 art museums through multi-step sampling process. This study analyzed the structure and menu of the art museum websites as well as the current state of various contents provided by the websites and the search service for the collections offered by the websites. Following sentences are the results. First of all, the art museum websites offer 5.6 top menus on average. Secondly, contents related to art museum, exhibitions, news, education, general forum, and SNS are the basic contents that should be provided on the art museum websites. Third, for contents related to news, education, and events have problems with hierarchical structure and need to be adjusted. Fourth, in the content type, specialized information contents are relatively insufficient and thus need to be improved. Fifth, the art museum websites should give sufficient information about the collection and offer directory searching hat includes keyword searching as well as detail searching service. It is also required to reorganize the directory along with the download function for searched results and the sorting service.

  • The appearance of various portal web sites that have individual customers, customizing information operate importantly upon a content. But most current portal sites that has a goal for international electronic commerce use information for customer to a simply individual profile and don't create more and new information that customizing. In this paper, we propose a system that generates a new customizing information with classification and analysis in detail and provides automatically to individual customers. The goal of our research is the development of personalizing auto generation agent that composed form of e-mail from preference of each individual user using open rate and mouse event Information for e-mail.

  • Web robot engine for searching web sever vulnerability and malicious code is proposed in this paper. The main web robot function is based on searching technology which is derived from analyses of private information threat. We implemented the detecting method for phishing, pharming and malicious code on homepage under vulnerable surroundings. We proposed a novel approachm which is independent of any specific phishing implementation. Our idea is to examine the anomalies in web pages.
