The Research on Adolescents' Ethical Decision on Unethical Viral Marketing through Social Network Service (기업의 소셜네트워크를 통한 비윤리적 바이럴 마케팅에 대한 청소년의 윤리적 판단 연구)

  • This study examined how adolescents make a decision on a company's unethical viral and what factors influenced their decision. There were three independent variables, self-interest, sense of rivalry, and monetary attitude, considered for affecting adolescents' ethical decision. The ethical decision as the dependent variable has two perspectives such as deontology and relativism. The findings showed that sense of rivalry was only significant factor influencing relativism and deontology of adolescents' ethical decision. Self-interest and monetary attitude were not significant, but when eliminating sense of rivalry due to multicollinearity in regression model, monetary attitude significantly influenced their ethical decision.

  • This study investigated the relations of personal variables and environmental variables to the peer bullying experienced by fifth- and sixth-grade children. One result was a significant sex difference in the buoying but not in the victimization. The victimization of boys was influenced by withdrawal and assertiveness. Aggression, emotional regulation and withdrawal were important predictors for buoying, whereas withdrawal and aggression were important predictors for victimization among girls. The interactive effect of withdrawal and teacher's support on victimization was statistically significant only for boys, whereas the interactive effect of aggression, maternal affection and teacher's support on bullying was statistically significant only for girls.

Personality and Environmental Characteristics of Children who are Bullies and/or Victims (아동의 개인적·환경적 특성과 또래괴롭힘)

  • This study investigated personality and environmental variables influencing peer bullying by sex and by differences between bullies, victims, bully-victims, and normal children. Findings were that the proportion of the total sample involved in peer bullying was 47.88%. Of the bullying children, 38.15% were bully-victims, followed by victims and bullies. The bullying of both boys and girls was influenced by exposure to violence, delinquent friends, and peer support. Bullies had higher levels of aggression and exposure to violence than normal children and higher levels of peer support than victims. Victims had higher levels of delinquent friends and exposure to violence than normal children. Bully-victims showed higher levels of aggression, immaturity, delinquent friends, exposure to violence and lower levels of peer support than normal children.

  • The Purpose of this study is to find out the relationships of affective outcomes and work itself performed by librarians. General job satisfaction, internal work motivation and growth satisfaction were set as independent variables in this study. Work effectiveness was set as a dependent variable. The result of multiple regressions by the data from 88 systems librarians who work at university libraries showed that affective outcomes affect work effectiveness, and growth satisfaction is important to affective outcome.

The Effect of Individual and Environmental Variables on Children's Problem Behavior (개인변인과 환경변인이 아동의 문제행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Data were collected from 392 4th and 6th grade students by questionnaires and analyzed by Pearson's correlation, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. More problem behavior was reported by 4th than by 6th graders and by boys than by girls; the gender difference was larger in 4th than 6th graders. Low school satisfaction, authoritative parenting, male gender, and higher age predicted problem behavior. Within group variables that predicted problem behavior were low authoritative parenting, low school satisfaction. Male gender, and low self-control in the 4th graders ; low self-control and school satisfaction in the 6th graders; low authoritative parenting and school satisfaction in girls ; and low school satisfaction, higher age, and low self-control in boys.

Use of Music by International College Students in Korea (국내 외국인 유학생의 음악 활용)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the use of music by international college students in Korea. A questionnaire was administered to foreign college students. The questionnaire was composed of 25 items regarding use of music, the purpose of music use, and demographic information. A total of 150 questionnaires were distributed, and 81 questionnaires were returned. Incomplete questionnaires were excluded, and the remaining 69 questionnaires were analyzed. The results of this study were as follows. First, international students in Korea preferred listening to music over playing instruments or singing and mostly listened to popular music in their dormitory alone. They mostly listened to popular songs with love related themes and preferred music from their own country over Korean music. Second, in terms of the purpose behind music use, comfort was the reason reported most frequently, followed by mood change, enjoyment, sense of belonging, and sense of achievement. Third, there were no significant differences in use of music depending on individual factors (e.g., gender, length of residence in Korea, length of previous music education), but significant differences were found for using music for the purpose of mood change and sense of belonging based on respondents' length of residence in Korea. The results of this study may contribute to the development of musical programs for cultural adaptation and psycho-emotional support for international students in Korea.

Information Literacy: Identification of Factors Affecting Undergraduate Students (대학생의 정보리터러시에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석)

  • The study Is attempted to identify the factors affecting information literacy among undergraduate students. Through literature review, exposure to related education, use experiences in information resources, advice of the faculty, individual background are considered as variables affecting information literacy attitudes and performance. A questionnaire was devised and collected data from 628 students. Then 24 hypotheses were tested statistically. Descriptive analysis shows differences in information literacy, lower exposure to library instruction, and lack of the faculty advice. Results of the hypotheses testing shows computer and internet education, use experience of the various information resources, gender and major areas of study as factors affecting information literacy. Based on the results, recommendations are suggested to improve the information literacy.

A Meta-regression Analysis on Related Protective Variables of social worker's Turnover Intentions (사회복지사의 이직의도 억제와 관련된 변인에 대한 메타회귀분석)

  • This study confirmed by a meta-analysis of the effect of suppressing the size of the turnover variable based on the thesis concerning "turnover intention" of the past 15 years, and the trend over the year, according to published meta-regression analysis was verified. The overall effect size for the study was found to inhibit factors medium effect size. Effect size is a private property factor by lower variable salary levels, age and marital status, working period, turnover experience, educational level, showed a work order forms, job characteristics factor is job satisfaction, working conditions, job importance, firm relationships with colleagues, showed a net job autonomy. In addition, organizational characteristic factor effect sizes organizational commitment, organizational commitment, advancement opportunities, compensation satisfaction, organizational justice, participatory doctor had determined the net. Changes in accordance with the published year is closer to 2015 it showed that the effect of inhibiting factors reduced size.

The Effect of Subordinate's Emotional Labor on Job Attitude : The Moderating Effect of Job Crafting (상사에 대한 정서노동이 직무태도에 미치는 영향 : 직무의미창조(Job Crafting)의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of subordinates' emotional labor on job burnout and job engagement, and verify whether job crafting moderates the relationships between emotional labor and job related attitudes. A total of 301 employees working at various companies in Korea participated in an on-line survey and the data were examined by statistical analysis. The results showed that surface acting positively affected job burnout. It was found that deep acting positively affected job engagement, while negatively affecting job burnout. The results also demonstrated that job crafting moderated the relationship between surface acting and job engagement. It is suggested that employees' proactive behaviors designed to relieve the stress of work can mitigate the negative effect of emotional behavior. On the basis of the results, the implications and future research directions were discussed.

The Effect of ROKAF Officer's Job Satisfaction and Psychological Well-being on their Self-leadership (공군간부들의 직무만족도, 심리적 안녕감이 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향)

  • This research examines the relationships and effects among ROKAF officer's job satisfaction and psychological well-being and their self-leadership. Multiple regressions were conducted using 211 data. Results are as follows. First, Job satisfaction, psychological well-being and self-leadership were significantly positively correlated with each other. Second, as for the effects of subordinate factors among job satisfaction and psychological well-being on the subordinate factors of self-leadership, personal growth and controling environment of psychological well-being and administration of job satisfaction influenced self-expectation of self-leadership. For the self-reward of self-leadership, personal growth, meaning of life and autonomy of psychological well-being and relationship and reward system of job satisfaction influenced it. Finally, as for the effects of subordinate factors among job satisfaction and psychological well-being on self-leadership, administration and relationship of job satisfaction and personal growth, meaning of life and autonomy of psychological well-being influenced it. Finally implications and limitations of this research are discussed.
