A Study on the Combustion Performance with Variation of Fuel Injection Hole Configuration at Supersonic Combustion (초음속 연소에서 연료 분사구 형상에 따른 연소성능 변화에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • In order to investigate the effect of fuel injection hole configuration within the scramjet combustor, experiment and quasi-one-dimensional analysis was performed. And the results were compared with experiment and analysis result which were performed in 2008 with same facility and test condition. Fuel injection hole size was decreased and quantity was increased. However the depth of fuel penetration and flow quantity of fuel were maintained. As a test result, combustion performance was increased significantly with no-cavity injector and slightly with plain-cavity. However, combustion performance with zigzag-cavity was decreased.

Friction Factor of Rectangular Open Channel Flow (사각형 개수로 마찰계수)

  • The present paper discusses the traditional empirical equations of friction factor or cross-sectional mean velocity of open channel flow and suggests the new form of friction factor equation. Dimensional analysis is conducted for the possible forms of traditional empirical equations in order to satisfy the dimensional equality, and new forms of empirical equations are presented with introducing equivalent roughness height. Considering the distribution of friction factor against Reynolds number which has a similar characteristics to that of smooth turbulent flow in circular pipe, the friction factor equation of rectangular open channel flow is developed by modifying the friction factor equation of circular pipe flow for the region of smooth turbulent flow. The equations including the dimensionally-corrected empirical equations are tested against Bazin's laboratory experiments.

  • 서론: 본 연구는 불필요한 소화기관용 약제의 처방이 한국에서의 처방전 당 약물 개수를 증가시키는 것과의 연관성을 검토하고자 수행되었다. 연구방법: 연구를 위한 자료로 건강보험심사평가원의 처방전 데이터와 환자의 기타 모든 의료보험 청구데이터를 이용하였고, 두 데이터셋을 연결하여 처방전들을 소화기관용 약제의 필요성에 따라 소화기관질환 그룹, 관절염질환 그룹,소화기관용 약제 처방이 불필요할 것으로 그 외 질환 그룹으로 구분, 분리하였다. 결과: 처방전 당 약물의 평균 개수의 분포는 세 그룹에서 비슷한 양상을 보였는데, 관절염질환 그룹과 그 외 질환 그룹의 거의 절반 이상은 한 개의 소화기관용 약제를 포함하였다. 세 그룹 모두 처방전 당 약물 개수와 처방전 당소화기관용 약제의 개수가 1차 선형관계를 보였다. 그 외 질환 그룹에서는 처방전 당 전체 약물이 평균 6개를 넘는 경우, 적어도 한 개의 소화기관용 약제가 포함되었다. 본 연구는 불필요한 소화기관용 약제를 처방하는 것은 다제처방의 매우 유의한 예측인자임을 보였다. 결론: 향후, 약제 처방전의 질을 향상시키기 위해서는 각각의 약물을, 특히 소화기관용 약제를, 처방 시 약제의 불가피한 필요성에 대해 판단할 수 있어야 할 것이다.

  • This paper presents the idea of interpolating between multiple sounding bursts to estimate the individual channels of a MIMO scenario. The performance of the proposed technique depends on the $f_dT$ product and the number of transmit and receive antennas. In particular, this technique can be effective if the $f_dT$ product is not too high and the number of antennas is not too large. Furthermore, there is a considerable difference in the performance of the 16 channels in the $4{\times}4$ MIMO case because the sounding bursts spread farther apart with time, meaning that the Doppler in the channel causes a greater error for the channels.

  • The classification time required by conventional multi-class SVMs(Support Vector Machines) greatly increases as the number of pattern classes increases. This is due to the fact that the needed set of binary class SVMs gets quite large. In this paper, we propose a method to reduce the number of classes by using nearest neighbor rule (NNR) in the principle component analysis and linear discriminant analysis (PCA+LDA) feature subspace. The proposed method reduces the number of face classes by selecting a few classes closest to the test data projected in the PCA+LDA feature subspace. Results of experiment show that our proposed method has a lower error rate than nearest neighbor classification (NNC) method. Though our error rate is comparable to the conventional multi-class SVMs, the classification process of our method is much faster.

Distance Estimation Method between Two Nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks (무선 센서 네트워크에서 두 노드간 거리 추정 기법)

  • In wireless sensor networks, an estimation method is proposed for distances between nodes within two hops. The method uses only proximity information of nodes without physiccal distance measurements. It drastically improves the performance of localization algorithms based on Proximity information. In addition, it is the first method that estimates distances between nodes exactly in two hops. The distances are estimated from the number of common neighbors under an assumption that the number of common neighbors is proportional to the intersection of two unit disks centered at the two nodes. Simulation analysis shows that the estimation error is roughly from 10 to 20 percent of real distances. Meanwhile, the number of messages required by a distributed algorithm realizing this method is only two times the number of nodes.

  • Two conventional speed detection methods (Elapsed-time method and Pulse-count method) are analyzed and compared for a high speed motor with digital tacho pulse with non-uniformity. In general, the elapsed-time method usually has better performance than a pulse-count method in case sufficiently high speed clock is used to measure the time difference. But if a tacho pulse non-uniformity exists in the reaction wheel - most of reaction wheel has a certain amount of non-uniformity - the accuracy of the elapsed-time method is degraded significantly. Thus the performance degradation is analyzed with respect to the level of non-uniformity of tacho pulse distribution and an allowable bound is suggested.

  • 개수로 흐름에 대한 연구는 1700년대 중엽 Chezy에 의해 이론적인 기초를 다졌으며, 광범위하고 조직적인 관측연구는 Darcy(1803-1858)에 의해 약 150년 전에 폭 2m, 길이 600m에 이르는 수로에서 실험관측을 수행하고자 시도하였다. Darcy의 동료이자 후계자인 Bazin은 제한된 조건의 현장관측뿐 아니라 다양한 조건의 수로를 제작하여 실험관측을 수행하였으며 그의 실험자료는 Bazin 자신 뿐만 아니라 Manning이나 Ganguillet와 Kutter 등 여러 연구자들의 경험식 개발에도 이용되었다. Nikuradse(1933)의 균일조도 원형관수로 실험결과로부터 관로 흐름은 층류, 천이층류, 완난류, 천이난류, 전난류 등 다섯 종류의 흐름특성을 가지고 있음을 확인하였고 Bazin(1829-1917)과 varwick(1945)의 실험결과로부터 개수로 흐름에서도 관로 흐름과 마찬가지로 층류, 천이층류, 완난류, 천이난류, 전난류 등 다섯가지의 흐름특성이 존재함을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 지수형 마찰계수 산정식에서 단순히 조고만의 함수였던 ${\alpha}$에 물의 기본적인 성질인 표면장력, 점성력, 밀도와 자연 하천의 경사, 수심, 수면, 폭, 조고의 영향을 고려한 수심에 관한 무차원수 $Y_h$, 수면 폭에 관한 무차원수 $Y_b$, 조고에 관한 무차원수 $Y_k$를 도입하였다. 따라서 개수로 흐름 해석에 있어서 기존의 마찰계수 산정치보다 여러 영향을 반영하여 정확한 값을 산정할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • A table compression method for reversible variable length code is proposed in this paper. TNWT(Transition Number and Weight of Tree) method, which uses the transition number of bits within a symbol and the level of a code tree, is proposed. Compression of table values is performed after arrangment of values that is not distinghishable by transition number and weights. In decoding, the transition number and weight of code are used. In this method, the table for RVLC decoding can be implemented with a smaller memory.
