The Situation and Prospect of Food Packaging Materials and Its Products in Korea Since 1990 (식품포장산업의 현황과 전망)

  • 1. 포장재료에서는 기능성필름, 전자레인지, 조리식품의 포장쪽으로 다층복합필름, 중공성형용기, 완전분해성 플라스틱필름과 같은 새로운 무공해 신소재가 개발될 것이다. 2. 포장제품의 차별화로 인하여 다양성 추구가 이루어질 것이다. 노인층의 증가, 젊은층의 유행 등으로 포장재료의 형태, 디자인의 패션화 등 목적에 따라 다양화 될 전망이다. 3. 환경보호를 위한 자원절약과 감량화 등이 규제에 따라 적정포장이 적극적으로 이루어질 것이다. UR개방과 GR에 대비해 포장설계로부터 폐기물에 이르기까지 자원절약형, 감량화, 대체품 개발, 가급적 포장재 단일화 성향으로 갈 것이다. 4. 생산기계에서부터 포장기계 및 물류 등의 고속화 및 전 자동화 시스템으로 개발될 것이다. 인건비 절감, 생산성 향상, 합리적 유통 구조개선이 이루어질 것이다. 5. 포장기술의 다양한 연구개발과 응용이 이루어져야겠다. 국내의 식품포장 연구는 매우 미미한 수준이며 기초연구에서부터 응용에 이르기까지 확산되어야 할 것이다. 식품의 무균화 및 무균포장기술, CA/MA포장기술, 전자렌지식품의 포장기술, 물류관리를 위한 포장 표준화, 포장식품의 보관 수명 연구, 식품과 포장재료의 유해성 연구 등 다양한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 6. 국내 포장교육의 전문기관으로 학과설립의 확대가 이루어져 업체의 요구에 부응하여야 될 것이다.

  • Lately computing environment is changing into integrating open system. This paper proposes Integrated Management Model to improve productivity about new software development. The model is divided by Management Model to deal with the rapidly changing environment effectively into three layers: the first layer classifies and displays information to users, the users, the second layer controls function, the integration and management layer, and the last layer manages data, the objects management storage layer. So it designs of Efficient Object Management Repository Using Integration Management Model. This might support afterward prototyping in maximizing the reuse of software, which is advantage to the integration of the system, and in promoting its productivity.

  • Recently, due to Industry 4.0, there is a great interest in smart factory for productivity improvement and customer satisfaction in manufacturing industry, and construction is also actively pursued by government support. In particular, data integration and fieldbus communication technology to build an efficient production system are essential. Fieldbus is an open control system that is not tied to a specific vendor system and has various advantages such as compatibility with other products, accuracy of data transmission, and remote diagnosis. However, there are no educational equipment for training field buses, training courses and examples for practical training, and there are many limitations in improving the practical skills needed for building smart factories in the industrial field. Therefore, this study develops PLC based fieldbus education equipment and training course based on previous research results that selected PLC and communication technology suitable for domestic industry field for practical fieldbus training and develops the training program of Ethernet IP, Profibus DP, Modbus, CC-Link, and DeviceNet. In addition, it is confirmed that the control and remote diagnosis of distributed field devices are possible by data collection and monitoring.

  • Sports paradigm shift gave an opportunity to transform into production-oriented industry activities creating high value-added. Sports industrial cluster, organic union of qualitative industries producing and distributing of various sports derivative products, is necessary system in these sports paradigm shift. This study is intended to suggest the definition, construction, and direction for future of sports industrial cluster. In order to ensure the sustainable growth of sports industrial cluster, a growth strategy such as switching to the sementic cluster is needed. And the direction for future of sports industrial cluster were as following; finding the growth engine sports industry field according to the convergence, systematically promoting by setting the medium and long term development goals, constructing a wide industrial region for global competitiveness of sports industry.

  • Korean public organizations create electronic documents through electronic document management systems under the e-Government scheme. A majority of these public documents are saved in vendor-dependent file formats, mainly HWP. Vendor-dependent formats can be opened only with specific software, which requires purchase. As the license does not guarantee compatibility between past and future versions, interoperability problems occur in long-term preservation, which need to be solved. Any error from the elimination of styles or no matching elements in document definition during conversion from vendor-dependent formats to the XML-based standard exchange format leads to file open failure or the modification of original documents. This study introduces the Open Document Format (ODF) and investigates the effects of adopting ODF in the creation, exchange, management, and preservation of public records.

Redesigning Electronic Records Preservation Formats Based on Open Formats (공개포맷에 기반한 전자기록 보존 포맷 재설계 방향 연구)

  • Along with the changing computing environment, the production of public documents is moving to G-Cloud and On-nara System, which are re-engineered on G-Cloud. In this process, it is predicted that the Open Document Format (ODF) will replace the proprietary document format, HWP, and will become widely used in the near future. To preserve digital records produced in ODF, this study reviewed the current long-term preservation strategies and identified considerations for new formats. For ODF source files, it is suggested to eliminate the conversion to PDF/A-1 and preserve the documents in the extended ODF with added metadata of records management. Moreover, ODF is presented as an alternative format for preserving proprietary formats. Finally, this study reviewed the current long-term preservation format, i.e., NEO, and suggests a zipped BagIt package, which has an ISO 21320 specification.

  • Recently, the South Korean government actively opens the public data to encourage people to use it in private sector. It is based on 'Government 3.0' that is the paradigm for government operation. According to this trend, a data platform is required for establishing and commercializing business models that utilizing geospatial data. However, it is currently insufficient to establish the geospatial data system using the text-based public open data. This study constructs a geospatial data supply system using the public data for the purpose of providing and using the public data of spatial reference type efficiently. It improves the accessibility of user and the usability to the public data having location information. Besides, this study suggests that the components of the appliance system that connects the public data from different public institutions for different purposes with producing the geospatial data in the type of a finished product.

  • Recently, concerns about the environment are becoming more important because of global warming and the exhaustion of earth's resources. In the aviation and automobile industries, the application of light materials is increasingly important for eco-friendly and effective. Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics is a composite material which great formability and the high strength of carbon fiber. CFRP, which is both light and strong, is hard to manufacture. In addition, CFRP machining has a high chance of defects. This research discusses the development of a manufacturing system package for CFRP machining. It involving CFRP Drilling/Water-jet Manufacturing Machines, Inspection/Post-processing Systems, CNC platform for an EtherCAT servo Communication, Flexible Manufacturing Systems and CFRP machining Processes.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of teachers as main users to make suggestions for active use of educational information sharing system. The study sets three research tasks about the problems of the current system, improvements, and desired content from the perspective of teachers. To collect specific opinions, we conducted an open questionnaire survey and made a qualitative analysis using the NVivo 10 program. The present system has such problems as functional issues, lack of data reliability, systemic problems for sharing and use. We suggest that in order to enhance Web site services, authoring tools for editing contents and new search engines with customized search function need to be provided. In addition, the open market service system has to be established, so that teachers can actively create, share, and distribute to meet the various needs of teachers. Finally, to promote free access to the system, copyright issues need to be resolved to prevent the potential digital piracy.

  • The computer industry has come to the generation of personal computer. The organization of the existing industry has the distinct boundary among companies in vertically integrated companies, produce whole assembled system, and compete in the part of hardware, operating system, and its related software based on theirselves design. Then according to keep the distinct monopolized architecture of industry, the enterprises only centralized on developing the monopolistic market and sharing the static market rather than competition and compatibility with other system. The horizontal distribution in small part industry is occurring, by the times of personal computer, and the companies of personal computer have coming into free competition with parts standardization and the open architecture of system. This paper suggests a reasonable model of industry under horizontal structure with analyzing the above phenomenon.
