Mechanical Properties of Bamboo-reinforced Boards Manufactured with Phyllostachys bambusoides Growing in Damyang District (I) -- Physical Properties of Bamboo Strand Board -- (담양산 왕대를 이용한 대나무 강화 복합보드의 제조 및 역학적 특성 평가 (I) - 대나무 스트랜드 보드의 물리적 특성 -)

  • Bamboo strand board (BSB) was made with Phyllostachys banbusoides growing in Damyang district. Physical and mechanical properties of this BSB were summarized as follows; The specific gravity of BSB was 0.63∼0.79. Specific gravity decreased slightly with the thickness and length of BSB. Moisture content of BSB manufactured was 5.8∼6.9%. The absorption ate of BSB (42∼48%) did not show any relationship with the thickness and length of BSB. The thickness swelling rate of BSB was 13.9∼17.0%, relatively higher than any other panel products. Thickness swelling rate increased with the thickness of BSB, showing the strand thickness influenced much more on the rate of thickness swelling of BSB than the length of strand. The 3-point bending strength of BSB was 98∼126kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$. Bending strength of showed the tendency of increase with the increased length of BSB, but with the decreased thickness. In particular, the length of BSB showed more effect on the increase of bending strength of BSB than the thickness of BSB. The compression strength perpendicular to BSB surface was 411 ∼ 465 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, and the optimal length of strand for the 1mm- and 2mm-thickness of strand was 40mm and 60mm, respectively. Compression strength paralleled to BSD was 160∼221kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and the optimal length of strand for the 2mm-thickness of strand appeared to be 60mm. The present work showed that appearance, physical and mechanical strength of BSB appeared quite positive in terms of board qualities, suggesting that bamboo would be appropriate for the production of board materials. In addition, our work showed that the crucial factor for determining the mechanical characteristics of BSB was the dimension of strand.

  • The environmental regulations are being strengthened all over the world, and the introduction of electric vehicles are actively being considered to cope with them effectively. It is essential to establish a charging infrastructure, which is an essential element of electric vehicle distribution. In this paper, power line communication technology essential for smart charging infrastructure is studied. A control board capable of achieving a physical layer speed of 10Mbps and a TCP/IP layer of 4.5Mbps, which conforms to the ISO/IEC 15118 international standard, and a control board mounted on the board and compliant with international standards. We have developed a software solution to perform functions for linking. In addition, in order to be applied to the combo-type DC fast charger, the hardware was designed to meet the industrial environment standard and the V2G communication module was developed by integrating it with the software solution.

  • Safety and security system have been internationally enhanced in a field of shipping logistics. Accordingly, techniques for safety and security have been studied steadily. The need of portable radiation detection device is increasing by the search of the container is enhanced. In this paper, we propose to study on the application of the temperature compensation algorithm to the platform to improve the accuracy and the realization of portable radiation detection device based on Cortex-A9. Analog board deforms signal output from the sensor. And Cortex-A9 platform analyzes the signal received and displays the results. Additionally we use the temperature compensation algorithm and thereby we ca look the same results even if the temperature changes.

  • In this paper, an error tracking platform is designed for enhanced-reliable IOT system. The platform is designed to enhance reliability of IOT system by analysing additional informations(OS, Browser, Device) and by notifying error detection to developers. Especially, in the case of an error in the service which it is difficult for developers to recognize it, The platform also supports notification services through various communication media(Email, Slack, SMS). The common interface is designed to accommodate many languages(typescript, Swift, and Android) in the development process, and the interface allows users to analyze errors that occur on various platforms, including mobile/web/desktop applications. By presenting each error in groups through issues, developers can easily identify issues in the service. The visualizing function is included to recognize various error type by dashboard.

Surface Temperature of Flooring Board Using Woodceramics with Sending an Electric Current (우드세라믹 통전에 의한 마루판의 표면온도 변화)

  • To examine possibilities to make use of woodceramics for the lower material of hot-floored ondol boards, woodceramics made from sawdust board with Pinus densiflora, put them in a wood frame and concrete block and heated them sending an electric current, and measured changes in surface temperature of a laminated floor board and a plywood floor board. As the sending an electric current to time passed, their surface temperature increased rapidly up to 20 minutes, and then gradually ascended. In terms of the surface temperature in the wood frame, the beginning temperature of a plywood floor board was higher than that of laminated floor one; however, as time passed, a laminated floor board's temperature rose, and after 60 minutes, it showed similar to the temperature of a floor board of lamination. On the other hand, the surface temperature in a concrete block showed that the laminated floor board was higher than the plywood floor board in both early and 60-minute later temperatures. With the lapse of time after switching off, the surface temperature of floor boards slowly dwindled up to 9 minutes, and from that time on, began to drop sharply. In terms of the descent speed of surface temperature, when woodceramics' surface temperature was adjusted at $70^{\circ}C$, the laminated floor board was the highest; when it was at $80^{\circ}C$, the plywood floor board was the highest, resulting in rapid descent speed of heat.

  • 사용자들의 정보교환이 주목적인 분산 멀티미디어 응용 프로그램은 많은 분야에서 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 화상/음성 회의, 채팅도구, 화이트보드, 전자공책등 독립적으로 수행하는 응용 프로그램들이 있는데, 이러한 분산 멀티미디어 응용 프로그램을 이용하여 , 지리적으로 떨어져 있는 사용자들이 함께 일할수 있는 환경인 협동 작업 환경을 제공할 수있다. 최근에 이러한 협동 작업 환경에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있는데 더 효율적이고 신뢰할 수 있는 협동작업환경을 제공하기 위해서는플랫폼에 독립적이고 보안성이 제공되어야 한다. 또한 사용자가 협동 작업을 생성, 삭제, 참여, 탈퇴할 수 있는 기능도 제공되어야한다. 이러한 기능을 제공하는 서비스를 세션서비스라고 한다. 본 논문은 분산멀티미디어 협동 작업 환경을 위한 CORBA 기반의 보안성있는 세션 서비스를 제안한다. 분산 객체 기술인 CORBA는 객체의 위치와 구현에 상관없이 그들 사이의 통신을 가능하게 하여 주는데 , 이러한 CORBA의 장점을 이용하여 플랫폼에 독립적이면서 보안성을 강화하고 일반적인 세션 정보를 제공하는 서비스를 제안한다. 그 타당성을 입증하기 위해 세션서비스의 프로토타입이 분산 멀티미디어 시스템인 MAESTRO 의 일부분으로 개발되었었다. 여기에서 제안한 세션서비스는 OMG 표준의 새로운 서비스로 제안될수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper describes a program which learns good strategies for two-poison, deterministic, zero-sum board games of perfect information. The program learns by simply playing the game against either a human or computer opponent. The results of the program's teaming of a lot of games are reported. The program consists of search kernel and a move generator module. Only the move generator is modified to reflect the rules of the game to be played. The kernel uses a temporal difference procedure combined with a backpropagation neural network to team good evaluation functions for the game being played. Central to the performance of the program is the search procedure. This is a the capture tree search used in most successful janggi playing programs. It is based on the idea of using search to correct errors in evaluations of positions. This procedure is described, analyzed, tested, and implemented in the game-teaming program. Both the test results and the performance of the program confirm the results of the analysis which indicate that search improves game playing performance for sufficiently accurate evaluation functions.

  • Linux is the one of various RTOS, also embedded linux has being studied with focus on technical stability and commercial utilities. In this paper, the technical trial was discussed on the development of real-time operating system that provides real time capability and extends the network communications ability and would be applied to the maritime mobile communication system through analysis the embedded linux kernel. Some techniques for Analyzing the embedded linux kernel and designing the target board, making the kernel image and porting the kernel are summarized in this paper.

  • 우리나라의 무역 활동을 처리하는 항만은 국가 주요시설로 보안에 만전을 기하고 있다. 그러나 항만의 면적이 넓고 복잡하기 때문에 사각지대가 존재하고 사각지대에서의 불법행위 단속 건수는 매년 증가하고 있다. 이에 항만의 보안 강화를 위한 대책이 필요하다. 본 논문은 항만의 상황을 이동형 CCTV에 부착된 IoT 센서들로 인식하여 YOLOv5 딥러닝 모델로 분석한 후 웹 대시보드에 시각화하는 항만 보안 시스템을 제안한다. 이동형 CCTV는 특정 위치로 직접 이동할 수 있어 거리에 따라 해상도가 낮아지는 기존 CCTV의 단점을 보완할 수 있다. 또한 해당 시스템은 주변에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 장비들과 오픈소스 라이브러리를 활용하기 때문에 다른 보안장비들에 비해 효율적인 비용으로 높은 보안 효과를 얻을 수 있다는 강점을 지닌다. 본 시스템은 항만시설뿐 아니라 군사시설, 물류시설 등 보안을 중요시하는 다른 분야에 확대 적용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Evaluation of Fire Investigation as the Separation Distances for Several Types of Insulation Panels (단열패널 종류별 이격거리에 따른 화재감식 평가)

  • Despite strengthening requirements for fire retardancy and applied buildings of insulation panels, the number of fires and influence of damage have increased. In this study, the thermal effects were evaluated as the separation distances, and three types of EPS panel, glass wool panel, and gypsum board panel were then selected. Temperature sensors on the panels were installed vertically from the ground. The fire source on the lamination layer of lumber was ignited by changes in the separation distances (0 cm, 25 cm, 50 cm) from the panels. The test results suggested that the maximum temperature was 349 ℃ in the EPS panel. The inside/outside shape changes were limited by the height of the low and middle positions until the critical point of a 25 cm separation distance. Furthermore, the combustion marks appeared after 500 s on average, and then the EPS panel with a high fire strength showed a broad "U type" pattern, glass wool panel, and gypsum board panel showed medium or narrow "V type" pattern. Therefore, the acquired data can provide valuable information for evaluating the fire risks and verifying fire investigation from buildings composed of these insulation panels.
