Features and Trends of IEC Particular Standards for Medical Equipment Related to Diagnostic X-ray Based on IEC 60601-1:2005 Ed. 3.0 (IEC 60601-1: 3판이 적용된 진단용 X선장치 관련 개별규격의 동향 및 특징)

  • IEC publications have applied in many countries all over the world such as Europe or Japan and these also have been published as in dustrial standards (KS) and notifications of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) in Korea. As the general standard of IEC 60601 series for medical electric (ME) equipment was revised as $3^{rd}$ edition in 2005, additional and particular standards have been revised or established newly. Under these circumstances, it is importance for manufacturing and assembling companies or authorized testing companies to understand the trend for revisions of IEC publications. Therefore in this study, the latest version of 3 IEC standards related to medical X-ray equipment : IEC 60601-2-44 for X-ray equipment for computed tomography (CT), IEC 60601-2-45 for mammographic X-ray equipment and IEC 60601-2-54 for X-ray equipment for radiography or radioscopy were covered and analyzed for trends and features accompanied by revision based on IEC 60601-1 $3^{rd}$ Ed. As KFDA notifications in force have referred to the particular standards based on 2nd edition of IEC 60601-1, those revised version of 3 particular standards were compared to KFDA notifications in force. The features of the latest standards applying IEC 60601-1 $3^{rd}$ Ed were shown as following: 1) Requirements for mechanical hazards, especially (motorized) moving parts were emphasized. 2) Indication and recording of patient dose were required. 3) Risk management process was introduced and enabled to monitor potential risks systematically. 4) DR system (digital radiography system) as well as analogue system (film-screen system) was included in the scope. Presently, KFDA will revise the notifications applying the particular standards based on IEC 60601-1 $3^{rd}$ Ed in a few years. Therefore the features of particular standards applying IEC 60601-1 $3^{rd}$ Ed was expected to help manufacturers, assemblers or testing companies of medical electric equipment understand IEC publications or KFDA notifications slated to be published.

  • 현재 태양광인버터의 안전성확보에 대한 기술기준이 IEC로부터 채택하게 됨과 동시에 독일, 일본, 미국 등 선진 각국에서는 안전성 확보용 기술기준을 적용하고 있으며, 강제(Mandatary) 규격으로 적용하고 있는 상태이다. 그러나 국내 태양광인버터분야는 인버터의 성능만 수행하고 있는 상태이며, 안전성분야는 전무한 상태이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 성능위주의 특성에서 벗어나 사용자의 보호 및 안전성을 중심으로 CE, UL 등의 해외인증에서 요구하는 기준으로 자리를 잡아가고 있는 IEC 62109 표준화에 대한 정확한 기술기준 및 시험방법에 대해 살펴본다.

Corrosion Analysis of Materials by High Temperature and Zn Fume (고온 및 Zn Fume에 의한 소재들의 부식성 분석)

  • The material normally used in hot dip galvanizing facilities is SM45C (carbon steel for mechanical structure, KS standard), mainly because of its price. During this process, the oxidation of the plating facility occurs due to the heat of the Zn fumes coming from the molten zinc. Since the cycle time of the current facilities is 6 months, much time and money are wasted. In this study, the corrosive properties of various materials (Inconel625, STS304, SM45C) were investigated by oxidation in a high temperature and Zn fumes environment. The possibility of applying the hot-dip galvanizing equipment was investigated for each material. The Zn fumes were generated by directly bubbling Ar gas into Zn molten metal in a 650 degree furnace. High-temperature, Zn fumes corrosion was conducted for 30 days. The sample was removed after 30 days and the oxidation of the surface was confirmed with EDS and SEM, and the corrosion properties were examined using potentiodynamic polarization tests.

  • 정보통신 시스템의 고속/고밀도화 요구에 따라 개발되고 있는 ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) 교환기 시스템은 팬을 이용한 강제대류냉각 방식의 채택과 시스템이 설치되는 장소에 따른 여러 환경조건에 의한 진동 문제가 발생될 수 있다. 시스템의 진동으로 인한 피해중 커넥터 접촉부에서 전기적 특성의 변화는 고속으로 전송되는 신호의 왜곡을 유발시킬 수 있어 시스템 개발시 이에 대한 충분한 연구 및 시험이 요구되고 있다. 진동환경에서 커넥터 접촉부는 접촉면의 상대운동으로 인한 접촉저항의 증가와 순간적인 신호전달 중단을 가져오게 되며, 특히 PCB/Connector Assembly에서 커넥터 접촉부는 PCB(Printed Circuit Board)의 장착 조건 및 동적 거동에 따라 전기적 특성이 변할 수 있다. 시스템에서 커넥터의 동적 거동을 이해하기 위해서는 PCB를 포함하는 시스템내 여러 요소의 동적 특성 이해와 복잡한 해석과정이 요구되며, 시스템 개발자는 진동 환경에서 이것의 시험 결과에 따라 커넥터의 사용을 결정해야 할 것이다. 커넥터의 전기적 특성 시험법은 IEC, EIA드 여러 국제 규격에 제시되어 있으며, 본 연구의 대상이 된 ATM교환기 시스템에서 PCB/Connector Assembly의 진동환경에서 접촉저항 측정과 관련된 접촉저항 임계치 및 측정법은 IEEE 규격 및 Bellcore 규격에 규정되어 있다. Bellcore에는 주어진 진동시험주기 전후에 IEC 규격의 LLCR(Low Level Contact Resistance) 측정회로를 이용한 측정법이 규정되어 있고, 냉각팬 및 주위 환경진동이 가해지는 동안의 영향에 대한 시험법은 규정되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 한국통신의 전자장비 운용환경시험 조건의 진동에서 ATM 교환기 시스템에 사용되는 PCB/Connector Assembly 커넥터 접촉부의 접촉저항 변화와 PCB 진동에 의한 영향을 시험하였다.proach)등이 제시되었고 평면파 영역에 한하여 해서되어져 왔다. 본 논문에서는 분할 접근 방법(Segmentation Approach)을 이용하여 다공 요소로 이루어진 소음기를 해석하는데 적용하였다.로 성능 및 안정도에 영향을 미치므로 주의 깊게 선정해야 한다. 방법의 실질적인 적용에는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 방법들의 단점을 극복할 수 있는 새로운 회귀적 모우드 변수 규명 방법을 개발하였다. 이는 Fassois와 Lee가 ARMAX모델의 계수를 효율적으로 추정하기 위하여 개발한 뱉치방법인 Suboptimum Maximum Likelihood 방법[5]를 기초로 하여 개발하였다. 개발된 방법의 장점은 응답 신호에 유색잡음이 존재하여도 모우드 변수들을 항상 정확하게 구할 수 있으며, 또한 알고리즘의 안정성이 보장된 것이다.. 여기서는 실험실 수준의 평 판모델을 제작하고 실제 현장에서 이루어질 수 있는 진동제어 구조물에 대 한 동적실험 및 FRS를 수행하는 과정과 동일하게 따름으로써 실제 발생할 수 있는 오차나 error를 실험실내의 차원에서 파악하여 진동원을 있는 구조 물에 대한 진동제어기술을 보유하고자 한다. 이용한 해마의 부피측정은 해마경화증 환자의 진단에 있어 육안적인 MR 진단이 어려운 제한된 경우에만 실제적 도움을 줄 수 있는 보조적인 방법으로 생각된다.ofile whereas relaxivity at high field is not affected by τS.   • According to the report from OECD, 80% of world trade quantity was influenced by standard, 50% of EU trade demand certification of forced standard. This leads to develop standard connected with R&D in most country and company worldwide. Recently, Technical standards have advantage of reduction of production cost and market dominating power. Standardization of construction technology has very important role that ouput of R&D refer to KS, national construction standards and it activates in the market. However, domestic construction research related to effectiveness of standadization fall short of expectation in comparison with manufacturing industry. This study present criteria that can analyze the performance and effectiveness in construction R&D project connected with standardization. And it applied domestic R&D cases (finished from 2000 to 2009), analyzes ouput of standadization and economic effect to verify the value of construcion technology standardization.

Minimizing Benzo(a)pyrene Content in the Manufacturing of Sesame Oil and Perilla Oil (참기름과 들기름의 제조조건에 따른 벤조피렌 함량 변화)

  • This study was carried out to identify the cause of benzo(a)pyrene[B(a)P] production during the manufacture of sesame oil and perilla oil, and to minimize such B(a)P synthesis. The distribution of B(a)P in sesame seed and perilla seed differed with seed-growing district, the range was $0.06{\sim}0.31{\mu}g/kg$ in domestic seed and $0.12{\sim}0.47{\mu}g/kg$ in imported seed. B(a)P contents after roasting at $220^{\circ}C$ for 20 min in sesame seed and perilla seed were $1.87{\sim}2.47{\mu}g/kg$ and $2.12{\sim}2.43{\mu}g/kg$, respectively, and levels in oils obtained from the roasted seeds were $3.68{\mu}g/kg$ and $4.64{\mu}g/kg$, respectively. These data refer to seeds subjected to codsed roasting. With open roasting, the levels were $0.63{\mu}g/kg$ and $0.56{\mu}g/kg$, respectively. Closed roasting resulted in absorption of B(a)P, with consequent high levels in oils. We introduced forced ventilation during closed roasting. We tested various methods to remove B(a)P from sesame oil and perilla oil. Neither centrifugation nor filtering with diatomite and diatomiteactive carbon removed B(a)P. A filtering method using active carbon was effective. But this method adversely affected the color and flavor of sesame oil and perilla oil.

A Study on Electromagnetic Environment of Marine Ship (해상 선박의 전자파환경에 대한 연구)

  • Recently, the accidents on the sea have arisen due to the increase of the nautical traffic and the digitization of equipments for marine. Therefore, IMO(International Maritime Organization) have provided the recommendation of EMI and EMS for radio communication and equipments of marine from SOLAS convention at July 1st 2002. In this paper, we measured EMC environment on the Hanbada, which is Korea Maritime University training ship, for basic EMC environment of ship. The measuring point was Bridge and Engine Control Room of the ship, we measured at the test point that was set at random. Measured Band is from 30 MHz to 2 GHz, polarization measurement is processed both vertical and horizontal polarization. We analysed the results in consideration of permissible criteria.

  • During the initial stage of propulsion shaft design, the shaft alignment process includes a thorough consideration of lateral vibration to verify the operational safety of the shaft. However, a theoretical method for analyzing forced lateral vibrations has not been clearly established. The methods currently used in classification societies and international standards can only ensure a sufficient margin to avoid the blade-passing frequency resonance speed outside the range of ${\pm}20%$ of the maximum continuous rating (MCR) for the engine. Typically, in shaft alignment analyses, longer center distances between the support bearings promote affirmative results, but the blade order resonance speed can approach the lower limit for lateral vibration. Therefore, this matter requires careful attention by engineers, and a verification of the theoretical analysis by experimental measurements is highly desirable. In this study, both theoretical and experimental analyses were conducted using strain gauges under two draught conditions of vessels used as 50,000-DWT oil/chemical tankers, introduced recently as eco-friendly ships. Based on the analyses, the influence of the lateral vibration on the shafting system and the system's reliability was reviewed.
