Development of optimal algorithm for PV-ESS integrated system by 3 Dimensional Dynamic Programming (3차원 동적계획법에 의한 PV-ESS 연계형 시스템의 최적운용 알고리즘 개발)

  • In this paper, we had developed an algorithm that can cope with all the economic variables that may occur in the operation of PV-ESS system by developing the algorithm for the operation method of PV-ESS connected system. Based on this, the optimal operation schedule of PV-ESS was decided to minimize the electric charges of customers. Through this, we developed a three-dimensional dynamic planning method based on case generation to determine the optimal PV-ESS operation schedule stably even when exogenous variables change.

Robust Trajectory Tracking Control of a Mobile Robot Combining PDC and Integral Sliding Mode Control (PDC와 적분 슬라이딩 모드 제어를 결합한 이동 로봇의 강인 궤도 추적 제어)

  • In this paper, a robust trajectory tracking control method of a wheeled mobile robot is newly proposed combining the PDC and the ISMC. The PDC is a relatively simple and easy control method for nonlinear system compared to the other non-linear control methods. And the ISMC can have robust and stable control characteristics against model uncertainties and disturbances from the initial time by placing the states on the sliding plane with desired nominal dynamics. Therefore, the proposed PDC+ISMC trajectory tracking control method shows robust trajectory tracking performance in spite of external disturbance. The tracking performance of the proposed method is verified through simulations. Even though the disturbance increases, the proposed method keeps the performance of the PDC method when there is no disturbance. However, the PDC trajectory tracking control method has increasing tracking error unlike the proposed method when the disturbance increases.

  • Recently, Web applications, such as Stock Image and Image Library, are developed to provide the integrated management for user's images. Image hash techniques are used for the image registration, management and retrieval as the identifier and many researches have been performed to raise the hash performance. This paper proposes GLOCAL image hashing method utilizing the hierarchical histogram which based on histogram bin population method. So far, many researches have proven that image hashing techniques based on histogram are robust image processing and geometrical attack. We modified existing image hashing method developed by our research team. The main idea is that it makes more fluent hash string if we have histogram bin of specific length as shown in the body of paper. Finally, we can raise the magnitude of hash string within same context or feature and strengthen the robustness of hash.

  • Adaptive beamforming methods are known to suppress sidelobes and improve detection performance of weak signal by constructing weight vectors depending on the received signal itself. A standard adaptive beamforming like the MVDR (Minimum Variance Distortionless Response) is very sensitive to mismatches between weight vectors and actual signal steering vectors. Also, a large computational complexity for estimating a stable covariance matrix is required when wideband beamforming for a large-scale array is used. In this paper, we exploit the WBRCB (Wideband Robust Capon Beamforming) method for stable and robust wideband adaptive beamforming of a passive large uniform line array sonar. To improve robustness of adaptive beamforming performance in the presence of mismatches, we extract a optimum mismatch parameter. WBRCB with extracted mismatch parameter shows performance improvement in beamforming using synthetic and experimental passive sonar signals.

  • A autonomous vehicle requires improved and robust perception systems than conventional perception systems of intelligent vehicles. In particular, single sensor based perception systems have been widely studied by using cameras and laser radar sensors which are the most representative sensors for perception by providing object information such as distance information and object features. The distance information of the laser radar sensor is used for road environment perception of road structures, vehicles, and pedestrians. The image information of the camera is used for visual recognition such as lanes, crosswalks, and traffic signs. However, single sensor based perception systems suffer from false positives and true negatives which are caused by sensor limitations and road environments. Accordingly, information fusion systems are essentially required to ensure the robustness and stability of perception systems in harsh environments. This paper describes a perception system for autonomous vehicles, which performs information fusion to recognize road environments. Particularly, vision and laser radar sensors are fused together to detect lanes, crosswalks, and obstacles. The proposed perception system was validated on various roads and environmental conditions with an autonomous vehicle.

  • This paper proposed modelling and design method in suspension system design to analyze active suspension equipment by adopting active robust control theory. Recent in the field of suspension system design it is general to adopt active control scheme for stiffness and damping, and connection with other vehicle stability control equipment is also intricate, it is required for control system scheme to design more robust, higher response and precision control equipment. It is known that active suspension system is better than passive spring-damper system in designing suspension equipment. We analyze suspension system with considering location of front-rear wheel and driving velocity, then design control system. Numerical example is shown for validity of robust control system design in active suspension system.

  • The forces and moments at the aircraft c.g. have components due to aerodynamic effects and to engine thrust. For the flight stability and autopilot systems we present a attitude control method using an intelligent control algorithm Which is based on the control rules from experts knowledge concerning the motion equations and other experiences. Then a robust fuzzy controller is developed to control the flight attitude. The controller can deal with multiple inputs and outputs. We have made an aircraft model and the orientation sensor for experimental flights. The control rules based on the flight expert s experience and knowledge can be programmed by fuzzy rules, and determined control rules by experimental flight. We can be stable attitude control by fuzzy controller.

  • In this paper, optical image encryption using integral imaging and pixel-scrambling technologies is proposed. In the encryption process, we use pixel scrambling to change the order of subsections into which the cover image is divided, and the utilize the integral imaging scheme to obtain the elemental image from the scrambled image. In order to achieve higher security, we reuse pixel scrambling to the elemental image. In the decryption process, we employ optical integral imaging reconstruction technique and inverse pixel scrambling methode. Computer simulation results prove the feasibility of the proposed method and robustness against data loss and noise.

  • The objective of this paper is to develop an adaptive learning method for fuzzy hypercubes using a neural network. An intelligent control system is proposed by exploiting only the merits of a fuzzy logic controller and a neural network, assuming that we can modify in real time the consequential parts of the rulebase with adaptive learning, and that initial fuzzy control rules are established in a temporarily stable region. We choose the structure of fuzzy hypercubes for the fuzzy controller, and utilize the Perceptron learning rule in order to upda1.e the fuzzy control ru1c:s on-line with the output errors. As a result, the effectiveness and the robustness of this intelligent controller are shown with application of the proposed adaptive fuzzy-neuro controller to control of the cart-pole system.

  • 음성 대화 시스템에서는 사용자가 잘못된 슬롯명을 말하거나 음성인식 오류가 발생해 사용자의 의도에 맞지 않는 응답을 하는 경우가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 말뭉치나 사전 데이터를 활용한 질의 교정 방법들이 제안되지만, 이는 지속적으로 사람이 개입하여 데이터를 주입해야하는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 축적된 로그 데이터를 활용하여 사람의 개입 없이 음악 재생에 필요한 슬롯을 교정하는 자기 학습(Self-learning) 기반의 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델은 사용자가 특정 음악을 재생하고자 유사한 질의를 반복하는 상황을 이용하여 비지도 학습 기반으로 학습하고 음악 재생에 실패한 슬롯을 교정한다. 그리고, 학습한 모델 결과의 정확도에 대한 불확실성을 해소하기 위해 질의 슬롯 관계 유사도 모델을 이용하여 교정 결과에 대한 검증을 하고 슬롯 교정 결과에 대한 안정성을 보장한다. 모델 학습을 위한 데이터셋은 사용자가 연속으로 질의한 세션 데이터로부터 추출하며, 음악 재생 슬롯 세션 데이터와 질의 슬롯 관계 유사도 데이터를 각각 구축하여 슬롯 교정 모델과 질의 슬롯 관계 유사도 모델을 학습한다. 교정된 슬롯을 분석한 결과 발음 정보가 유사한 슬롯 뿐만 아니라 의미적인 관계가 있는 슬롯으로도 교정하여 사전 기반 방식보다 다양한 유형의 교정이 가능한 것을 보였다. 3 개월 간 수집된 로그 데이터로 학습한 음악 재생 슬롯 교정 모델은 일주일 동안 반복한 고유 질의 기준, 음악 재생 실패의 12%를 개선하는 성능을 보였다.
