The purpose of this study is to investigate the nature and the pattern of oral book reviewing in order to prepare the methodological basis of systematic education and training for the oral book reviewer Students should have opportunities to exercise themselves in oral book reviewing. We need experienced teachers, space, facilities, and supplies to train them to be a member of reviewer group at modern intellectual society. And there are so many prerequisites like good copy, delivery technique, understanding the specialty of broadcasting language and the distinctions of the oral review from the written review for successful performance as reviewer.

This study analyzed the different needs between the after-school programs of elementary schools in metropolitan and non-metropolitan areas to understand the areas that need addressing to meet with the requisites of the programs. To this end, this study conducted a survey among teachers with experience in after-school management (n=233), and the needs and performance recognized by teachers were analyzed in the IPA model matrix. To sum up the results, 'Online educational infrastructure', 'Efficient administrative operation', and 'Supply of professional after-school instructors' were identified as the prior needs in metropolitan area. On the other hand, non-metropolitan area, 'Supply of professional after-school instructors', 'Quality educational contents', and 'Online educational infrastructure' were identified as the prior requisites to be addressed. Based on research findings, the study suggested implications in developing and implementing related policies. Research findings will be expected to refer as baseline data for activating after-school online program operations and improving its programs to meet with the different needs of regions.

This paper examined the learning transfer of job training participants and its influencing factors. A survey of 279 care workers in the city of Seoul and Kyeong Gi province who recently participated dementia job training was conducted. The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that the self-efficacy of the care workers, the capability of instructor, the training methods and the transfer opportunity positively influenced the level of learning transfer. The findings suggested increasing care workers' self-efficacy, enhancing practical skill-based training program, hiring instructors with high workplace experiences, fostering work environment with higher transfer opportunity are required.

The present study aims to investigate how general education EFL instructors who teach in a higher education institution in Korea perceive mixed-ability classes and the teaching strategies that they utilized to teach learners who have varying English proficiency levels and may have different instructional needs. Twenty instructors at a higher education institution in Korea who teach general education EFL courses participated in a questionnaire and three of the twenty instructors participated in follow-up interviews. The findings from the questionnaire and interviews showed that instructors' experiences teaching mixed-ability classes were positive. They offered clear guidelines for participation to help motivate learners and found that higher level students helped lower level students through group work. The instructors also felt that ESP could be a possibility in mixed-ability classes to meet the learners educational needs.

현재 대한민국은 물류산업을 이끌어갈 물류전문 컨설턴트가 절실히 필요하다. 글로벌 물류시대를 맞이하여 물류기업뿐만 아니라 각 제조업체도 물류전문가, 특히 글로벌 물류인재에 목말라 하고 있다. (사)한국물류협회(회장:서병륜)는 지난 6월 17일 협회 대강당에서 제2기 물류전문컨설턴트 29명을 배출하면서, 기업체들의 전문인력의 갈증에 조금이나마 해소하고 있다. 명지대학교와 산학협력 프로그램으로 실시되는 물류전문컨설턴트 양성과정은 물류분야 최고의 컨설턴트와 전문 교수진으로 구성하여, 회사 및 업계에서 물류컨설턴트로 활동할 물류지도자를 양성하는 자격 과정이다. 지난해 9월부터 시작한 이 과정은 우수한 강사진과 커리큘럼으로 국내기업으로부터 지대한 관심을 받으며 제1기 과정과 제2기 과정을 성공적으로 마쳤다. 한편, 오는 9월에 실시되는 제3기 과정에는 모집공고가 나오기도 전에 사전신청자가 11명에 이를 정도로 지원자가 급증하고 있다. 이는 교육 과정이 물류 전문가라면 알아야 될 내용들로 짜임새 있게 구성되어 있지만 더욱 중요한 것은 물류업계 전문가들과 인적 Network 구축이 큰 메리트로 작용하고 있다. 제2기 과정을 수료한 LG화학의 오태경부장은 "지금까지 수 많은 교육을 받아 봤고 여러 종류의 모임에도 참여해 봤지만 과거에는 경험해 보지 못한 전혀 색다른 교육 과정을 체험을 하였다."고 말했다.

해상교통관제사의 능력 향상을 위해 해양수산부에서는 자격인증에 관한 훈령을 제정한 후 기본과정, OJT 강사과정, 선임관제사 과정, 재교육과정 등의 교육을 시행하면서 교육용 시뮬레이터를 활용해 왔다. 또한, 항만의 안전과 보안을 우선 담보하는 해상 교통관제사로서 능력을 발휘하고 필요한 역량을 갖추기 위해서 IALA V-103에서 언급된 대로 여러 부분의 지식을 함양하고 교육용 시뮬레이터를 이용한 간접경험으로 훈련을 충실히 하고 있다. 그러나 시뮬레이터는 항만의 선박교통상황을 충분히 구현하지 못하며 긴급하고 위험한 상황 또한 제한적으로 구현할 수밖에 없는 등 교육용 시뮬레이터의 약점을 보완하기위해 VTS 시뮬레이터 시스템의 기능강화를 위한 요구사항 분석 및 설계 기준을 검토하였다. 특히, 해상교통관제사의 훈련 상황을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가기능을 구현하기 위해서 분석 검토하였다.

Most existing mobile distance learning systems are asynchronous ones that allow students to download lecture video and presentation material. However, there are a few synchronous real-time mobile distance learning systems that support slide, annotation, feedback from student, and lecture video and audio at the same time. These live mobile distance learning systems have an advantage of supporting real-time interaction between students and a lecturer thereby making students understand the lecture better. But, they also have a disadvantage in the sense that they don't allow students to experience the past lecture. This problem can be solved by recording and replaying lecture session. So far, there are few mobile distance learning systems that support session recording and replay. This paper presents a synchronous mobile distance learning system that supports video and audio, slide with annotation, and real-time feedback from students, as well as session recording and replay, which is not supported by the existing mobile distance learning systems. The evaluation of the system among students shows that 61.3% of them were satisfied while 3.2% weren't.

This study examined traditional dance programs in cultural and arts education in local children's centers. We aimed to contribute to the voluntary and active participation of children in cultural and arts education through differentiated cultural and arts educational programs. Interviews were conducted from March 2016- June, 2016 at A Regional Children's Center in Chungnam. Once a week, a 50-minute were held 16 Session as "learning traditional joyful dance". After completing the program, 25 children who participated in the program were asked about the good points and disappointments regarding the program. The interviews used open, structured questions that have been primarily used in phenomenological research. The list of questions was prepared in advance according to the research purpose. The results of the study are as follows: The evaluation of the first program was generally positive. By experiencing activities through cultural and arts education through traditional dance programs for children, children learned to be polite. It also changed positively in conversation. Children who showed negative attitudes toward traditional dance programs gradually participated in activities. Second, I examined the evaluation of lecturers who teach traditional dance. The children's response to the program was positive, with sincere and responsible lecture preparation and progress. The instructor prepared the class in advance, welcomed the children and ran the class in good faith. Instructors who taught traditional dances were proficient in dance, majored in dance and teaching children. The learning effect was high by the instruction of the good dance movement. Rich in lecture experience, he is proficient in dealing with children in class. Material was delivered according to the child's dance level.

As foodservice industry has been developing, more people are interested in healthy life and want to learn cooking. This study validated the moderating effect of education program on cooking institutes. Also the present study revealed cause and effect relationship among the education environment, the satisfaction and reregistration intentions by conducting a survey for trainees in cooking institutes located in Busan and Gyeongnam area. For the purposes of the study, conjunction and organic cause-and-effect relationship of entire model was validated by using an exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling with 313 trainees who have used cooking institutes. A nested model and basic model were established to analyze the moderating effect of education program. The adjustment role of education program was validated with ${\chi}^2$ difference considering the degree of freedom between two models. As results of the analysis, the education service was statistically significant in all factors except the effect on education satisfaction. The education program has moderating effect on the relationship between the level of instructor and satisfaction degree, and between satisfaction degree and the reregistration intentions. Therefore, this study suggests that managers of cooking institutes should recruit instructors with excellent capability in order to operate the education program very well.

This study aims to understand the characteristics of Korean language learners and propose appropriate teaching plans for them through a focus group interview with Korean language instructors who had experience in teaching Korean at university-attached institutions in Hong Kong. For this purpose, the investigator interviewed ten instructors who taught Korean for at least five years. Korean language learners in Hong Kong who were in their twenties, but there were diverse age groups, including those in their fifties or older. Their motivations for learning Korean included the Korean Wave and the influence of support from the Continuing Education Fund by the Hong Kong government. Korean language learners in Hong Kong were characterized by active learning desire and effort, continuous learning intention, passive performance in speaking, and sensitivity to the disclosure of private information. Based on these findings, the study proposes to devise teaching and learning methods based on various age groups in a class and teaching methods for speaking that reflect the characteristics of Korean language learners in Hong Kong to teach Korean more effectively. The study is significant as a field study that examines the learning motivations, learning attitudes, and difficulties with Korean study of Korean language learners based on an unprecedented survey of the characteristics of common local Korean learners in Hong Kong.
