Power Transmission Line Hazardous Material Surveillance System Implemented Laser Scanning (레이저를 이용한 송전선 위해물질 감지시스템)

  • In this paper, we implemented a surveillance system for the power transmission line protection from heavy-duty fender-bender. Laser scanning technology was applied for system design. It was analyzed detailed functions for designed system. Measured detection rate and error rate that are monitoring parameters for both studied system and conventional system were 100%, 0% and 95.8%, 2.1%, respectively. Measurement showed that studied system is almost perfect and better than conventional system. Because this system provides the information to frontline workers with managers of heavy equipments that have possibility of accident, it can be applied to surveillance system for the transmission line protection.

Detection Algorithm of Crossroad Traffic Accident Using the Sequence of Traffic Lights (신호등 주기를 이용한 교차로 교통사고감지 알고리즘)

  • This paper suggests the background image and the algorism of detecting an accident at crossroads by using the sequence of traffic light at crossroads, which is installed within the crossroads, in order to detect an accident within crossroads. A method of using the existing image contains a problem that the accident-detection ratio gets lower in a situation that noise occurs loudly given using new accident model, the confused situation, or sound source. This study used the accident detection by developing a filter of using the property of histogram in the sequence of traffic light at crossroads and the background image, in order to reduce misjudgment of an accident caused by external shadow, vehicle stoppage, vehicle headlight, and externally environmental influence. As a result of experimenting by acquiring 15 actual accident images in order to examine the performance of the suggested algorism, the accident was detected in all the 15 videos. Even as for a new accident model, the accident within crossroads could be detected.

  • 본 논문에서는 LAN 상에서의 장애 검출과 장애를 유발시킨 호스트에 대한 위치 확인을 통하여 보다 효율적인 네트워크 장애 관리가 이루어질 수 있도록 하기 위한 알고리즘을 제시하고 있다. LAN 상에서의 주된 장애로 충돌율에 의한 네트워크 지연 장애를 들 수 있다. 따라서 패킷 충돌 감지를 통하여 네트워크 지연을 감지하고 이를 통하여 브로드캐스트, 멀티캐스트, 에러 발생 패킷 등을 분석하여 충돌율을 많이 발생시킨 호스트를 찾는다. 패킷을 많이 발생시킨 호스트에 대하여 RMON2를 이용하여 응용 프로토콜의 종류를 파악하고 이에 대한 내용을 관리자에게 통보함으로써 네트워크 장애 관리를 효율적으로 수행할 수 있다.

Video Based Fall Detection Algorithm Using Hidden Markov Model (은닉 마르코프 모델을 이용한 동영상 기반 낙상 인식 알고리듬)

  • A newly developed fall detection algorithm using the HMM (Hidden Markov Model) extracted from the video is introduced. To distinguish between the fall from personal difference fall pattern or the normal activities of daily living (ADL), HMM machine learning algorithm is used. For getting fall feature vector of video, the motion vector from the optical flow is applied to the PCA (Principal Component Analysis). The combination of the angle, ratio of long-short axis, velocity from results of PCA make the new fall feature parameters. These parameters were applied to the HMM and the results were compared and analyzed. Among the newly proposed various kinds of fall parameters, the angle of movement showed the best results. The results show that this parameter can distinguish various types of fall from ADLs with 91.5% sensitivity and 88.01% specificity.

  • Analyzing the code using static heuristics is a widely used technique for detecting unknown malicious codes. It decides the maliciousness of a code by searching for some fragments that had been frequently found in known malicious codes. However, in script codes, it tries to search for sequences of method calls, not code fragments, because finding such fragments is much difficult. This technique makes many false alarms because such method calls can be also used in normal scripts. Thus, static heuristics for scripts are used only to detect malicious behavior consisting of specific method calls which is seldom used in normal scripts. In this paper. we suggest a static analysis that can detect malicious behavior more accurately, by concerning not only the method calls but also parameters and return values. The result of experiments show that malicious behaviors, which were difficult to detect by previous works, due to high false positive, will be detected by our method.

  • 본 연구는 탐지대상물체의 형상인식이 가능한 비접촉, 원격 탐지장치의 개발에 관한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 2극 또는 4극의 정자기장을 인가할 때 탐지대상 물체에 의한 자기장의 자계 왜곡을 홀 센서로 감지하여 탐지 대상 물체를 인식하는 원격 감지 시스템을 설계하고 제작하여 특성을 분석한 결과 2극과 4극 시스템 모두 비 투자율의 변화를 감지 할 수 있었고, 특히 탐사물체의 위치 파악에는 2극 시스템이 4극 시스템에 비하여 좋은 특성을 보였다.

  • 이동 애드 혹 망을 구성하는 노드들은 일반적으로 배터리 전력을 사용하기 때문에 이들의 에너지 소모량을 줄이는 연구들이 각 계층에 대해 이루어져 왔다. 몇몇 연구들은 매체 접근 제어 프로토콜로 많이 이용되는 IEEE 802.11 DCF의 전력 소비량을 줄이기 위한 전력 제어 기법을 제시하였다. 기본 전력 제어기법(BASIC Power Control Protocol)은 RTS-CTS와 DATA-ACK 에 대해서 각각 다른 전력을 적용하는 것이다. RTS-CTS는 최대 전력으로 전송되고, DATA-ACK는 불필요한 에너지 낭비를 줄이기 위해 최소한 의 필요한 전력으로 전송하였다. 그러므로 DATA-ACK의 전송범위(transmission range)와 전송파 감지영역(carrier sensing range)은 RTS-CTS의 영역보다 작아진다. 전송파 감지영역에서 RTS-CTS를 감지한 노드들은 신호를 올바로 해석할 수 없으므로 NAV 값을 EIFS로 설정한다. 이 EIFS 구간은 충돌을 막기에는 너무나 짧기 때문에. EIFS 구간이 지난 후에 채널이 비어있는 상태로 간주하고 전송을 시도하게 된다. 이에 따라 DATA-ACK 수신에 있어서 충돌율이 증가하게 되고 네트웍 전체 처리량이 감소하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 기본 전력제어 기법이 가지는 문제점을 해결하고 전체 네트웍 처리량을 향상 시킬수 있는 새로운 전력제어(Power Control) MAC 프로토콜을 제안하였다.

Image-Based Fog Detection Algorithm Using a Neural Network (신경회로망 기반의 주야간 안개 감지 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose a day and night fog detection algorithm that is not affected by lighting conditions. First, we present the definitions and the extraction methods of fog features in daytime and nighttime environments, respectively. We then propose the fog detection algorithm using a neural network from the fog features. A set of experiments has been conducted with images taken at various environments, and the average recall of the proposed algorithm is 97.5%.

  • 무선전력전송 시스템은 대기전력과 안전 문제로 인해 수신부의 존재를 판단하는 알고리즘이 필요하다. 현재 전계결합을 이용한 무선전력전송 시스템이 연구되고 있지만 아직 송 수신부 확인에 대한 연구는 활발하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 거리나 압력 센서를 더하지 않고 기존 전극의 기생커패시턴스를 이용해 부하 유무를 감지하는 방법을 제안한다. 송신부의 두 전극은 수신부가 분리됐을 때와 비교했을 때 수신부가 완전 정렬된 경우 커패시턴스 값이 약 9배 증가하므로 일반적인 마이크로프로세서의 내부 저항과 본 기생커패시터의 계단파 응답을 이용하면 부하의 존재유무를 판단할 수 있다. 그리고 마이크로프로세서를 통해 분리 시와 완전정렬 시에 기생커패시턴스 값을 LCR 미터와 비교했을 때 각각 오차율 5.5%, 6.8%로 측정하고 이 값을 이용해 수신부 감지 알고리즘을 성능을 검증하였다.

A Study on Fish Movement Efficiency in Biopolymer and Aggregate Mixed Fishway (피마자유기반 바이오폴리머와 골재를 혼합한 어도의 어류이동효율 실험연구)

  • A fishway is an artificial waterway or device used to resolve difficulties in the movement of fish in a river. Most existing fishways are made of concrete and emit toxic substances, which has a negative impact on the river environment. Accordingly, there is a need to develop fishway construction technology that is eco-friendly and can increase movement efficiency. The technology presented in this study is an integrated porous structure that combines the aggregate with a biopolymer material extracted from castor oil, a non-toxic material. It is a fishway construction technology using eco-friendly materials that can allow vegetation to grow on the surface. In this study, an eco-friendly fishway mixed with biopolymer and aggregate was built on a real scale and the fish movement efficiency was tested and analyzed. As a result of the experiment, a total of 201 fish of 14 species were released with tags inserted, and the detection rate of released fish was confirmed to be 82.6% on average. A total of 40 fish of 6 species were transported upstream through the fishway, and the average passage rate was confirmed to be 21.7%. As a result of checking the circadian migration pattern, it was found that all fish mainly migrate during the day. It was confirmed that there was no significant functional difference between a fishway using biopolymer and a concrete fishway. It is believed that a fishway using biopolymer can be used as a replacement for a concrete fishway.
