A Study on the Operational Optimization of Turbo-Expander Pressure Reduction System to the Natural Gas Flow Rates (천연가스 유량변화에 따른 터보팽창기 감압시스템 운전 최적화에 관한 연구)

  • Electricity can be generated when the natural gas passes through a turbo-expander pressure reduction system at natural gas pressure reduction stations. Efficiency of the turbo-expander depends on the ratio of the natural gas flow rates to the design flow rate of the turbo-expander. Therefore, the optimal conditions for the operation of the pressure reduction system can be determined by controlling the natural gas flow rates. In this study, we have calculated the electric energy generation depending on the natural gas flow rates at the two low-pressure reduction stations when the pressure of the natural gas is reduced from 17.5 bar to 8.5 bar and have found the optimal conditions for the turbo-expander pressure reduction system through the comparison with the calculation results. The turbo-expander generates the electric power efficiently for the high natural gas flow rates which variations are slight. The determined design flow rate of the turbo-expander has the highest coverage of the natural gas flow rates. The electricity generation is calculated as much as 9 MW(B station) and 12 MW(D station) at each pressure reduction station.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존의 로터리 방식이나 플래시 방식 등의 직접열에 의한 건조방식이 2차 공해 유발 및 폭발이나 화재의 위험을 항상 내포하는 등 여러 가지 단점이 있으므로 이러한 문제점을 연속 감압식 간접열 방식의 건조장치를 개발하여 근원적으로 해결하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목표는 50kg/hr용량의 연속 감압식 간접열 방식의 디스크 건조장치를 개발하여 건조효율을 70$\%$ 이상 향상시키며(기존의 제품은 50$\%$

  • To launch rocket on launch pad, propellants and gases are charged into the rocket by remote control system. Using pneumatic pressure-reducing regulators, kinds of gases with various pressure levels are supplied into launch pad. As most of operations for launching the vehicle are remotely controled in the launch control room, pressure pulsations due to rapidly gas supply at the upstream of regulators can make the required operating pressure range missed and cause damage to the regulators. In this paper, the optimum design methods of pressure regulators of pressure-reducing system on launch pad using high-pressure gases were investigated to solve the aforementioned problems and for stable gas supply to launch pad.

  • The depressurization rate in a thrust variable solid rocket motor is the major factor that has the greatest influence on the thrust termination performance. In this study, the depressurization rates range of model solid rocket motor was identified and major factors affecting the depressurization rate were found. It is important for actual system design to understand the depressurization rate of the system that can satisfy the target performance as well as the extinguishing characteristics of the solid propellant. The methodology for obtaining the depressurization rate model in this study is considered to be applicable to the optimal design of the thrust terminable propulsion system.

  • The expansion work that is wasted through the irreversible expansion through the PC valve of decompression process of the natural gas governor station can be recovered by replacing the process by an isentropic expansion. The energy and exergy analyses for the two decompression process models of power producing and current decompression process model are presented. Analysis results showed that the exergy by gas supply is 56.29%, the exergy by producing power is 32.12 % in case of preheating system and 22.52% in case of non-preheating system. The dead exergy at the PCV is generated much more network. As these results, the usefulness of exergy analysis is verified.

  • 본 연구에서는 밸브의 입출력 류량 검출 센싱 장치 및 류량 성능 특성 곡선을 측정하는 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 본 개발품은 기체 또는 액체의 양을 조절하는 밸브의 정밀한 제품을 생산할 수 있는 시스템이다. 멤버쉽함수의 최적한 폭을 자기동조에 의해 선정할 수 있었으며, 이를 이용하여 밸브의 압력 제어 성능을 보다 정밀하게 보정 할 수 있었다. 기체 또는 액체의 유량을 조절하는 감압 자동 조절밸브의 성능을 온라인으로 시험 할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 국산화하였다. 본 제품의 개발 결과 우수한 성능을 가진 감압 밸브 성능자동 보정 시험 검사용 소프트웨어임을 확인하였다.

Design and Evaluation of a Microcomputer-based Vacuum Drying System for Shiitake Mushrooms (마이크로컴퓨터 시스템을 이용한 표고버섯의 감압건조에 대한 연구)

  • Strain gauges attached on the Bourdon tube and load cell were used as the sensors for measuring the vacuum pressure in drying chamber and the weight loss of Shiitake mushrooms respectively. The vacuum drying system was interfaced further with the Bear II microcomputer. The interface devices used were built with such IC chips as MC 6821, ADC 0809, SN 74244 and SN 7424. The relationship between readings of vacuum gauge (P, mmHg) and digital outputs (D) from the microcomputer was represented by P =3.08 D-13.4875(r=0.9999). The weights of drying sample (W) were also related with the digital outputs (D) by W=0.4076 D-6.4762 (r=0.9999). During the vacuum drying of Shiitake mushrooms. the data on pressure and weight were recorded at regular intervals using an acquisition program on the microcomputer system. The Page model was fitted well to the drying data of Shiitake mushrooms. resulting in the following empirical equations : $(M-M_e)/(M_o-M_e)=\exp(-0.1569t^{1.0048})$ at 400 mm Hg up to 14 hours and $(M-M_e)/(M_o-M_e)=\exp(-0.1385_t^{1.2688})$ at 600 mm Hg up to 8 hours.

  • In this study, shape design and material selection were carried out for a two-stage pressure-reducing regulator to compensate for the shortcomings of a one-stage mechanical decompression regulator. The shape of the contact surface of the depressurization unit was considered, material was selected, and the shape was designed to compensate for the pulsation and slow response through the two-stage decompression and to solve the problem of high pressure deviation. In terms of airtightness, the deformation amount of TPU showed a small amount of displacement of up to 15.82%. Considering the fact that it is applicable to various hydrogen fuel supply systems by securing universality by applying electronic solenoids to the second pressure reduction, magnetic materials were selected. The hydrogen embrittlement and corrosion resistance were evaluated to verify the plating process. Surface corrosion did not occur in only the case of Cr plating. The elongation during the corrosion process was compared using a tensile test, and there was a difference within 2%.

  • In this paper, 3-dimensional designing program, Solidwork was used in designing in order to investigate structure and characteristics of a pressure reducing valve which was used as an apparatus for keeping regulated pressure of water supply equipment system and also 2-dimensional drawing was made to manufacture a pressure reducing valve in the field.

  • 감압비등에 의한 미립화는 더 미세한 직경의 액적을 얻을 수 있고, 분무각이 증가하며, 더 좋은 혼합특성을 갖는 다는 점에서 단순 압력식 미립화와 차이가 난다. 감압비등이란 과열된 액체를 포화 압력 이하의 대기 중으로 분사하여 급격한 비등에 의해 이루어지는 미립화이다. 본 연구는 금속 연료를 이용한 추진기관의 산화제인 물 공급기술에 감압비등과정을 이용한 와류분무를 적용시키기 위해 수행됐다. 분열길이와 같은 거시적 특성은 Charge-Couple Device(CCD) 카메라를 이용해 측정하였고, Sauter Mean Diameter(SMD)와 SMD분포와 같은 미시적 특성은 Global Sizing Velocimetry(GSV) 시스템을 이용해 측정했다. 실험은 압력과 온도, 대류 속도를 변화시키며 진행했다.
