Detection of Complaints of Non-Face-to-Face Work before and during COVID-19 by Using Topic Modeling and Sentiment Analysis (동적 토픽 모델링과 감성 분석을 이용한 COVID-19 구간별 비대면 근무 부정요인 검출에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze the sentiment responses of the general public to non-face-to-face work using text mining methodology. As the number of non-face-to-face complaints is increasing over time, it is difficult to review and analyze in traditional methods such as surveys, and there is a limit to reflect real-time issues. Approach This study has proposed a method of the research model, first by collecting and cleansing the data related to non-face-to-face work among tweets posted on Twitter. Second, topics and keywords are extracted from tweets using LDA(Latent Dirichlet Allocation), a topic modeling technique, and changes for each section are analyzed through DTM(Dynamic Topic Modeling). Third, the complaints of non-face-to-face work are analyzed through the classification of positive and negative polarity in the COVID-19 section. Findings As a result of analyzing 1.54 million tweets related to non-face-to-face work, the number of IDs using non-face-to-face work-related words increased 7.2 times and the number of tweets increased 4.8 times after COVID-19. The top frequently used words related to non-face-to-face work appeared in the order of remote jobs, cybersecurity, technical jobs, productivity, and software. The words that have increased after the COVID-19 were concerned about lockdown and dismissal, and business transformation and also mentioned as to secure business continuity and virtual workplace. New Normal was newly mentioned as a new standard. Negative opinions found to be increased in the early stages of COVID-19 from 34% to 43%, and then stabilized again to 36% through non-face-to-face work sentiment analysis. The complaints were, policies such as strengthening cybersecurity, activating communication to improve work productivity, and diversifying work spaces.

A Case study of engineering comprehensive design subject incorporating convergence with art (예술과의 융합을 접목한 공학 종합설계 교과목 사례연구)

  • The core of the Fourth Industrial revolution, the topic of the 21st century, lies in the convergence of various technologies that are developing to the cutting edge. Therefore, convergence education is essential to solve problems from various perspectives. Above all, in order to solve the complex problem arising from the contact point between humans and technology in the future society, it was considered that insight through a humanities and artistic approach was necessary. Now, universities are trying to run a multidisciplinary comprehensive design to adapt to the new digital environment. In this study, an operation case of an engineering comprehensive design subject incorporating art operated by a researcher was described. The researcher presented an art convergence curriculum in a comprehensive design subject by applying 1. problem recognition and definition, 2. idea derivation and evaluation, 3. project development, 4. presentation, and demonstration process operation methods. Through this study, it is meaningful that it presented a method of operating art convergence in engineering comprehensive design subjects by allowing students to attempt an artistic aesthetic and emotional approach to project development.

  • 본 팀은 웹캠으로 촬영한 영상에서 원하는 물체를 선택하여 텍스처를 선택한 이미지의 스타일로 변환하는 프로젝트를 수행했다. 영상을 세그멘테이션하고 원하는 물체만을 원하는 텍스처로 변환하여 최종 아웃풋을 얻는다. 제안하는 네트워크는 물체를 다양한 스타일로 바꾸는 것이 가능한데, 이 중에서 이미지에 명화의 화풍을 입히는 것을 중점으로 하여 데모를 구현했다. 빠른 속도로 네트워크를 실행하기 위해 기존 연구들에 비디오 처리의 관점을 접목했다. 여러 프레임을 묶어 옵티컬 플로우를 생성하고, 첫 번째 프레임을 인스턴스 세그멘테이션한 후 마스크를 추출했다. 이후 마스크 영역만 뽑아낸 이미지를 새로운 입력으로 하여 스타일 트랜스퍼를 거치고, 이 첫번째 프레임과 나머지 프레임들의 옵티컬 플로우로 나머지 프레임들의 세그멘테이션과 스타일 트랜스퍼를 예측하여 다시 비디오 프레임으로 만들어 주었다. 본 알고리즘은 옵티컬 플로우 설정으로 네트워크의 계산량을 줄이며 속도를 개선했다. 빠른 데이터 처리로 사용자가 원하는 물체의 텍스쳐가 바뀔 수 있게 되었고, 이는 현실 세계가 실제로 바뀐 듯한 느낌을 들게 한다. 또한, 컴퓨터 비전에서 활발하게 연구되었던 분야를 AR로 끌어와 두 분야의 융합 가능성을 열었다. 현재 코로나의 영향으로 집에서 취미생활을 즐기는 인구가 많아졌다. 본 연구를 통해 많은 사람에게 집에서 쉽게 명화의 감성을 즐기고 느낄 수 있는 양질의 콘텐츠를 제공해주려 한다. 또한, 박물관과 미술관 등의 기관에서도 이 기술이 활용될 수 있다. 명화를 느낄 수 있는 다양한 콘텐츠를 이용하여 박물관이나 미술관의 홍보 효과도 기대할 수 있다.

  • As a rapid rate of social change and competitive, paradigm of industry environment manufacturing products and services is shifted. Engineers design, develop, manufacture the products and services are strongly asked competency of different new creative practices. This means while industrial structure has been shifted from mass production to various allied production and social engineering based production, qualifications of engineers are required to individual creative competency as alternatives. In order to improve the competency, engineer become the creative people have ability to develop the professional knowledge competency and expand the competency to convergence the new product and services with sensing the life and social structure shift, human engineering, psychology, and emotion. For the competency, we develop the training program "improving convergence, creativity through Art." we intend that the program should be composed of creative engineering mechanism combined creative arts mechanism. It has been operated to the engineers for 17 weeks. we will discuss the program result and research direction and utilization in depth.

Predicting Sensitivity of Motion Sickness using by Pattern of Cardinal Gaze Position (기본 주시눈 위치의 패턴을 이용한 영상멀미의 민감도 예측)

  • The aim of this study is to predict the sensitivity of motion sickness (MS) using pattern of cardinal gaze position (CGP) before experiencing the virtual reality (VR) content. Twenty volunteers of both genders (8 females, mean age $28.42{\pm}3.17$) participated in this experiment. They was required to measure the pattern of CGP for 5 minute, and then watched VR content for 15 minute. After watching VR content, subjective experience for MS reported from participants using by 'Simulator Sickness Questionnaire (SSQ)'. Statistical significance between CGP and SSQ score were confirmed using Pearson correlation analysis and independent t-test, and prediction model was extracted from multiple regression model. PCPA & PCPR indicators from CGP revealed significantly difference and strong or moderate positive correlation with SSQ score. Extracted prediction model was tested using correlation coefficient and mean error, SSQ score between subjective rating and prediction model showed strong positive correlation and low difference.

A Study on the Development of Sleep Monitoring Smart Wear based on Fiber Sensor for the Management of Sleep Apnea (수면 무호흡증 관리를 위한 섬유센서 기반의 슬립 모니터링 스마트 웨어 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Sleep apnea, a medical condition associated with a variety of complications, is generally monitored by standard sleep polysomnography, which is expensive and uncomfortable. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes an unconstrained wearable monitoring system with stretch-fiber sensors that integrate with the wearer's clothing. The system allows patients to undergo examinations in a familiar environment while minimizing the occurrence of skin allergies caused by adhesive tools. As smart clothing for adult males with sleep apnea, long-sleeved T-shirts embedding fibrous sensors were developed, enabling real-time monitoring of the patients' breathing rate, oxygen saturation, and airflow as sleep apnea diagnostic indicators. The gauge factor was measured as 20.3 in sample 4. The maximum breathing intake, measured during three large breaths, was 2048 ml. the oxygen saturation was measured before and during breath-holding. The oxygen saturation change was 69.45%, showing a minimum measurable oxygen saturation of 70%. After washing the garment, the gauge factor reduced only to 18.0, confirming the durability of the proposed system. The wearable sleep apnea monitoring smart clothes are readily available in the home and can measure three indicators of sleep apnea: respiration rate, breathing flow and oxygen saturation.

Effect of LED Illuminance and Task Difficulty on Long-term Memory (LED 조명의 조도와 과제난이도가 장기기억에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of LED illumination and task difficulty on a person's long-term memory. Illumination levels of 400 lx and 1,000 lx were employed in this study, and task difficulty was set at learning 4 words (easy task) and 7 words (difficult task). The person's retention rate of the learned task was designated as a dependent variable. A total of 64 subjects participated in this study, and 16 participants assigned to each of the four sets of conditions. The results indicated that the retention rate for the difficult task under relatively dark 400 lx conditions was 68.49%, while and the retention rate was higher than 56.03% for 1,000 lx conditions. In addition, for the easy task, the retention rate was 67.97% and 56.55% for the 400 1x and the 1,000 1x conditions, respectively. However, the interaction between illumination and task difficulty was not statistically significant. The study results further suggested that long-term memory can be effective in relatively dark conditions and indirectly suggests that long-term memory may not follow the Yokers-Dodson law.

Analysis of Perceived Weight According to Temperature and Weight of Stainless Steel Cup (스테인리스 컵의 온도와 무게에 따른 무게감 분석)

  • The weight of an object is an important research topic in terms of sense, and objects have size-weight, color-weight, and material-weight illusions due to the influence of size, color, and material and the weight of the object. Although temperature is a very important environmental factor in our daily life, there is a dearth of studies on how the temperature of an object affects its perceived weight. This study analyzed the effect of an object's temperature on the perceived weight. A stainless steel cup, in which weight and temperature are easily adjustable, was selected as a perceived weight measurement object; 5 temperature levels (0, 9, 20, 40, 70 degrees) and 2 weight levels (250, 400 g) were set. A total of 40 healthy men and women in their 20s participated in the experiment. The weight of the given cup compared to the reference cup was evaluated according to the modulus method. The study revealed that both temperature and weight significantly affected the perceived weight. The effect of temperature on the weight was different depending on the weight of the object. When the cup's weight was small (250 g), the temperature of the cup did not affect the weight. However, the perceived weight of a large cup (400 g) increased at a low temperature. This result suggests that the effect of temperature on the weight of an object depends on the size-weight illusion.

A Survey of Recommendation Intent for Small Business Tax Accounting Services (소규모 사업체의 세무회계서비스 추천 의향 조사)

  • This study investigates the recommendation for tax accounting services used in many companies. In particular, it aims to create guidelines for small businesses with fewer than 100 employees, which are relatively difficult to manage in terms of cost or time. We surveyed 100 corporate officials on basic business information, such as the number of employees, job titles, and business type, as well as the type of tax accounting service, the recommended score for the service, the reason for the score, and other opinions related to tax accounting services. In particular, the recommendation score seeks to obtain more effective results by using the Net Promoter Score method, which is known to be more effective in understanding customer opinions than general customer satisfaction surveys. The survey revealed a Net Promoter Score for a recommendation of -33 points, lower than the general Net Promoter Score. It also indicated that tax accounting services need improvement. Specifically, the opinions of the respondents who gave a non-recommendation score were as follows: "Not inconvenient or comfortable," "It was just okay," "I don't know if it would be helpful," and "There is no differentiation and there are no special alternatives." We concluded that an improved service for raising recommendation scores was necessary. This survey focused on recommendations for companies with fewer than 100 employees; future studies should incorporate larger companies and more variables.

  • As modern people's daily lives are becoming more harsh in Korea, the so-called Kidults generation has appeared since a few years ago as adults have come back to their childhood sensibility and are exposed to various cultures online, and there are many people who have a hobby for collecting toys. However, as there is currently no formalized system for individual toy trade online, it is difficult to acquire expertise and share information with each other through a major portal site's $caf{\acute{e}}$, and is exposed to security or fraud while trading toys. In this paper, we design and implementation of a web-based toy trading system. Analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the various trading and relay systems currently in use, it will provide opportunities for professional toy knowledge and information exchange to many users who have a hobby of collecting toys, and will greatly help vitalize the toy market through a secure and convenient trading environment between individuals.
