A Case Study of Creativity Development Using Simpson's Paradox for Mathematically Gifted Students (Simpson의 패러독스를 활용한 영재교육에서 창의성 발현 사례 분석)

  • Several studies have reported on how and what mathematically gifted students develop superior ability or creativity in geometry and algebra. However, there are lack of studies in probability area, though there are a few trials of probability education for mathematically gifted students. Moreover, less attention has paid to the strategies to develop gifted students' creativity. This study has drawn three teaching strategies for creativity development based on literature review embedding: cognitive conflict, multiple representations, and social interaction. We designed a series of tasks via reconstructing, so called Simpson's paradox to meet these strategies. The findings showed that the gifted students made Quite a bit of improvement in creativity while participating in reflective thinking and active discussion, doing internal and external connection, translating representations, and investigating basic assumption.

Paper Operration room nurses Experience in Using Radiation Suegery: Phenomenological Research (수술실 간호사의 방사선 노출 경험: 현상학적 연구)

  • This study aimed to identify the components of the nurses' exposure experiences and clarify the semantic structure of nurses by analyzing the participants' experiences of exposure to radiation. The participants in this study were nine nurses who worked for at least six months in the operating room of a City General Hospital. The data were collected using in-depth interviews and analyzed using the phenomenological method by Giorgi's (2004). As a result, six components were derived: "worrying about the disease by repeated radiation exposures", "exhausting physically and mentally," "trying to protect themselves against radiation exposure", "feeling of internal confusion and conflict", "demanding improvement of work environment", and "accepting and adapting to reality". In conclusion, nurses participating in radiation exposure surgery are concerned about the possibility of disease, experience physical and mental fatigue, and then consider changing their occupation. On the other hand, they try to accept and adapt to reality by considering the possibility of a job change or trying to protect themselves from the harsh environment. To develop a radiologically safe environment, systematic and effective resolutions must be secured at the organizational level.

  • Among the controversial issues of Habermas/Luhmann-debate, the more important issue today is the achievement of the two scholars after the debate rather than confirming the old antagonistic framework of critical theory versus systems theory. 'Communicative action' and 'discourse' are such issues. Starting from these issues, Habermas established a theory of communicative action, and Luhmann regarded elements of social systems as communications and considered actions as elements of system's self-observation. In particular, Luhmann's work, which regards communication as a primary concept and action as a result of attribution to the actor, was a very productive conversion of sociological tradition. Nevertheless, this conversion lacks a solution of intensified attribution conflicts. I think it is necessary to pay attention to the '$Verst{\ddot{a}}ndigung$' in Habermas' concept of communicative action in order to solve the problem of infinitely repeated attribution conflicts.

  • Recently, personal mobility (PM)-related complaints and PM accidents have increased as the number of users soars due to growth in the domestic PM market and the emergence of a number of electric scooter-sharing services. As a result, the need for PM education and practice spaces is emerging as a way to reduce accidents caused by poor PM manipulation and operation. In this study, we analyze the relevant conflict factors in order to come up with a systematic operation and activation plan for PM, and as an alternative, we review and propose how to operate a PM playground and test zone. It is expected that basic data collection and analysis of rudimentary driver behavior through PM playground operations will improve users' operational safety, and various conflicts of interest between users and non-users will be resolved by installing facilities to secure their safety.

  • This study suggests new perspective of interorganizational communication. The importance of communication quality is increasing because it affects performance of marketing channels. In perspective of information exchange, communication quality consists of accuracy, availability, timing, and credibility. In research model, the antecedents of communication quality adopt willingness of information sharing and capability of efficient communication. To examine effects of communication quality on channel performance, research model includes relation of communication quality and conflicts. For empirical test, relation of PC makers and their dealers is decided as a focal dyad. Findings indicate that overall hypotheses are supported except the relation of willingness of information sharing and communication quality.

교육정책의 굿 거버넌스 모색

  • 이 연구는 한국 현실에 맞는 교육정책의 굿 거버넌스는 궁극적으로 어떤 가치를 지향할 것인지를 모색하기 위해 논란이 되었던 세 가지 교육정책 사례를 중심으로 현 정부의 교육정책 거버넌스의 특징적 실태를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 현실적으로 민주성과 효율성을 동시에 제고해야 하는 바람직한 거버넌스 체제를 구축하기 위해 교육정책 분야에서 정부와 시민사회는 어떤 관계를 맺어야 좋은지를 여섯 가지 평가요소를 근거로 살펴보았다. 분석결과 민주성 측면에서 보면 세 가지 정책사례 간 정도의 차이가 있지만 모든 분야에서 시민단체들의 참여는 활발하였다. 그러나 이런 활발한 참여에 비해 상호 간 정보의 공유나 의사소통 그리고 반응성은 취약했다고 볼 수 있다. 효율성 측면에서는 더 심각한 문제가 발견되었다. 시민단체 간 연대가 활발하였던 점은 효율적 거버넌스의 긍정적 측면으로 볼 수 있으나 이런 연대는 유사한 의견을 가진 단체들 간에만 이루어졌다. 또한 효율적 정책결정에 반드시 필요한 전문가 집단의 자문과 참여도 제한적으로 이루어졌다. 이런 상황에서 이견을 가진 행위자 간 갈등이 첨예하게 대립되었지만 이를 관리하고 조정할 매커니즘이 존재하지 않았다는 점은 가장 시급히 해결되어야 할 문제이다. 따라서 세 가지 교육정책 사례에 대한 평가결과를 보면 한국처럼 국민적 관심이 높고 참여가 활발한 교육정책 분야에서는 보다 좋은 거버넌스를 지향하기 위해서 정부의 반응성과 갈등 조정력이 중요한 요인으로 고려되어져야 할 것이다. 또한 향후 교육정책결정에 있어서 좋은 거버넌스의 목표를 달성하기 위해 생각이 다른 전문가 집단 간 의사소통이 수평적이고 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 제도적 장치가 마련되어야 한다고 본다.

  • It is important not only understanding the underlying psychodynamic mechanism of the somatization but also understanding the somatization as a process where biological and sociocultural factors are acting as maintaining and exaggerating the primary vague somatic symptoms. Recently, among mechanisms of the somatization biological and cognitive aspect became more important than psychodynamics. When the doctors see patients complain physical discomforts without organic foundation, they should give attention to the mechanism of symptom amplification, misinterpretation, individual cognitive characteristics and learned behavior. Psychiatric disorders which show somatic symptoms should be also evaluated. Autonomic dysfunctions linked with stress would give some clues of the mystery of the mind-body relationship.

  • 팀 프로젝트 수업에서 학습자들 간의 소통은 프로젝트 성패에 중요한 요인이면서 동시에 가장 큰 갈등 요소이기도 하다. 특히 비대면 수업이 장기화되면서 비대면으로 운영되는 팀 프로젝트의 경우 팀원들끼리 소통할 수 있는 기회나 방법이 더 제한적이다. 본 연구에서는 팀원들 간의 소통의 원활성을 지원하는 요소에 대해 분석하고자 2년간 실시한 비대면 팀 프로젝트 수업에 참여한 학생들을 대상으로 소통을 지원하는 여러 가지 방법들을 적용해보고 참여자들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 결과를 비교 분석해보았다.

저탄소녹색성장론에 나타난 이명박정부의 국가-시장-사회관계

  • 본 연구는 저탄소녹색성장전략의 분석을 통해 이명박 정부 하에서의 국가-시장-사회관계를 분석하고 있다. 전체적으로 이명박 정부의 정치경제발전모델이 자유주의적임을 부정하기는 어렵지만 순수하게 신자유주의적이라고 보기는 어렵다. 부분적으로 중상주의적 요소가 강하게 남아 있다. 아울러 국가와 시장간의 관계는 원칙적으로는 서로 일정거리를 유지하는 객관적인 성격을 가지고 있으나 녹색산업분야에서는 친산업·친기업적 요소가 강하게 존재하고 있다. 국가-사회관계는 갈등적이고 배제적이다. 이러한 관점에서 볼 때 이명 박정부의 민주주의모델은 법적·제도적인 것이고 참여민주주의적 모델과는 거리를 두고 있다. 결국 사회배제적이고 친산업/친기업적 속성을 내포하는 한 시민사회세력의 반발에 직면하여 지속가능하지 못하게 되는 한계에 봉착하게 될 개연성이 높다.

The Process of Occupational Socialization of the Court Security Team (법원경비관리대의 직업사회화 과정 분석)

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate various experience factors of the court security team's occupational socialization process and suggest basic materials which are necessary to establish educational service strategies of preliminary court security and guard. Therefore, in-depth interview and ethnographic study were conducted for 4 court securities whose career is more than 3 years. As the result, the process of occupational socialization process of the court security was divided into preparation period, adaptation period, conflict period and maturity period. In the preparation period, vision of university departments, acquisition of certificates and information of the court security team are the factors of basic stage for becoming court securities. In the adaptation period, they adapt themselves for playing their own roles sincerely and become professional manpower after being court securities, through the university educational program useful for practical duties, certificates for practical duties and occupational satisfaction. In the conflict period, they aware conflicts of the company and job stress, that court securities should experience, and endure them. In the maturity period, they are grown by one more step as court securities, through the motivation, job professionalism, occupational prospect and efforts of self-development.
