가정간호 서비스내용 및 만족도에 대한 조사연구 (A Study on Home Health Care Service and the Level of Client Satisfaction)

  • This Study was done to examine the home health care service provided by home care nurses and the level of client satisfaction. Data were collected from 60 clients who received services from a home care center. The tool for measurement of satisfaction was composed 13 items and was 3 score scale. The results of this study are summarized as follows ; 1. By the disease pattern, subjects were distributed into cardiovascuvr disease(73.5%), digestire disease(10.2%), endocrine disease (6.1%), Senile dementia(6.1%) and the others(4.0%). 2. By the disease pattern, provided home health care services were follows; In cardiovascular disease and digestire disease, direct nursing service, education and physical assessment were provided every time. In senile dementia, direct nursing services were mainly provided and transfer and medication were rarely provided. 3. The level of satisfaction on provided home health services was high; mean score was 2.4 out of 3.

노인요양시설 종사자의 노인의 정보파악, 노인 간호 지식과 기술 및 노인 서비스 질과의 관계 (Effects of Service Quality on Knowledge & Skills of Service and Information Cognition for the Aged in Workers of Nursing Homes)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the worker's service quality of the elders at a nursing home. Methods: A total of 371 workers, who were engaged in caring for the elders at a nursing home in B-Metropolitan city and Kyungnam, answered the questionnaires regarding the knowledge & skills of service, information cognition and service quality for the elders related to their clients. Results: Service quality for the elders was significantly correlated to the level of knowledge and skills, as well as the information cognition for the elders, and frequency of educational participation. Service quality for the elders was statistically significant predictors of knowledge and skills, and information cognition for the elders. These two variables accounted for 37% of the variance in service quality for the elders. Conclusion: In order to improve the worker's care level, the workers engaged in caring for the elders should make the efforts to be given a nursing education related to the knowledge & skills, as well as the information for the elders.

장기요양시설 노인에 대한 간호서비스 제공시간 분석 (Care Time of Elderly in Long-Term Care Facilities)

  • Purpose: This study was to define the care time of elderly in long-term care facilities and to compare and analysis the care time by staff and facility types. Method: The data were collected from 530 elderly over sixty, residing in two long-term care hospitals for dementia, three long-term care hospitals for the elderly and two skilled nursing facilities. Care time for individual residents was measured the total time spent by nurses, aides. Result: The average care time measured by nursing staff was 158.6 minutes a day. The average care time for one resident by nurse was 40.4 minutes, and by aides, 118.2 minutes. The difference of the care time showed statistical significance between long-term care facility types(p<0.001) : average care time for dementia hospital(199.1min) was twice as long as that of skilled nursing facility(94.1min). Conclusion: The results of the study showed that the care time differentiates care time provided to elderly in long-term care facilities in Korea. The study suggests the need to emphasize the importance of standardization of level of staff and service programs by the long-term facilities.

재가와상노인 서비스제공 모델 개발을 위한 연구 (Development of an Urban Community Based Comprehensive Service Model for Bed-Ridden Elderly)

  • Purpose: This study aims to identify the ADL and IADL of bed-ridden elderly. Also it is used to show fuctional status, and to investigate the content and the level of nursing services provided. Method: The subjects were 191 elderly who received visiting nurse service through public health centers in the Seoul Metopolitan and Chungnam Province. Data collection was conducted by public health center nurses during four months in 2000. Result: As for daily living activities, 100% of subjects had at least one difficulty in ADL and IADL. Among them, only 0.5% had moderate disabilities and 99.5% had severe disabilities by HFS, 27.9% were in a semi bed-ridden state and 72.1% were completely bed-ridden by JABC. The major service provided was a visiting nurse service which was preferable to the social welfare service. In the visiting nurse service, there was no significant difference according to the elderlys' functional status. In addition there was no standadization about the qualification of the visiting nurse, and single entry point for the nursing service. Conclusion: The researchers urgently suggest that a community based comprehensive service model has to be developed to respond to the needs of the elderly in Korea.

업종별 산업간호사의 의료행위 분석

  • 본 연구는 산업 간호사의 통상증상에 대한 투약 및 처치, 타의료기관에 의뢰내용, 응급조치 내용을 업종별로 비교 분석코저 한다. 연구방법은 산업간호사회에 등록된 산업장 중 서울, 인천, 마산, 창원, 부산, 울산지역에 있는 130개 산업장에 근무하는 산업간호사를 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 신체기관별 통상증상에 대한 처치 및 투약은 서비스업과 제조업, 기타제조업 모두에서 소화기계, 호흡기계증상에 대한 처치 및 투약 업무가 가장 많았으며 업종별로 보면 서비스업의 경우 소화불량, 감기, 근육통, 설사, 기침, 두통, 복통, 구토, 변비 등이 80% 이상을 차지하였다. 제조업의 경우 소화불량, 감기, 설사, 두통, 근육통 등이 많았으며 기타제조업의 경우 감기, 두통, 소화불량, 근육통, 설사, 기침, 눈다락지 순으로 나타났다. 2) 근로자를 타의료기관에 의뢰 하는 내용은 즉각적인 수술을 요할때나 골절, 내부장기의 손상, 두뇌손상, 출혈 등으로 나타났다. 3) 업종별 응급조치내용은 서비스업에서는 화상과 쇼크, 출혈이 가장 많았으며 유해물질의 급성중독의 경우가 가장 적었다. 제조업에서는 화상, 골절, 쇼크, 출혈, 유해물질의 급성중독이, 기타제조업에서는 화상, 골절, 쇼크, 출혈의 순으로 많았다. 4) 업종별 구비관리하고 있는 의약품은 서비스업종이 제조업, 기타제조업보다 많은 의약품을 구비하고 있었으나 경미한 통상증상에 대한 의약품으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과들을 통해 볼때 제조업, 기타제조업, 서비스업종의 보건관리자가 일차보건의료수준에서의 투약 및 처치를 시행하고 있는 바, 이에 대한 구체적이고 명확한 투약의 범위를 설정하여 보건관리자의 직무를 표준화할 필요가 있으며 서비스업종에 종사하는 근로자의 건강문제와 관련요인을 구체적으로 연구할 것을 제안한다.

가정간호서비스를 받는 암환자 주부양자의 속박감 영향요인 (Factors Affecting the Entrapment of Primary Caregivers of Cancer Patients Receiving Home Healthcare Nursing Service)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the factors influencing the entrapment of primary caregivers of cancer patients. Methods: From 6 general hospitals, 146 primary caregivers of cancer patients who were receiving home healthcare nursing service were selected for the study. Regarding data collection, structured questionnaires were distributed to the caregivers for data collection. T-test, ANOVA and hierarchical regression were used for data analysis. Results: The significantly influential factors on their entrapment were caregiving time, taking turms to look after the patient, disease duration, home healthcare nursing period, quality of relationship, perceived health status, and social support. And the explanatory power was 55.1% Conclusion: To reduce primary caregivers' entrapment, it is necessary to perform comprehensive and continuous nursing intervention, and to develop a standardized home healthcare nursing intervention program, and to come up with a system for using resources available in local communities.

방문간호서비스의 직무특성이 방문보건인력의 심리적 임파워먼트에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Job Characteristics on Emotional Empowerment in Visiting Health Personnel)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of job characteristics on emotional empowerment in visiting health personnel. Methods: Subjects were recruited in ten community health care centers in one directorial area. Data collection was done using a self-report questionnaire. Job characteristics of visiting healthcare personnel were measured using the questionnaire developed by Kang (2006), based on Hackman & Oldham (1975). Emotional empowerment was measured using the questionnaire developed by Kang (2006), based on Spreitzer (1995). Results: First, the score of job characteristics was revealed to be 3.51 points the task significance was high, and the feedback was low. Second, the level of emotional empowerment was revealed to be 3.78 points the meaning was high, and the impact was low. Third, the prediction power of job characteristics on emotional empowerment was 34% autonomy, task identity, and task significance were identified as statistically significant predictive factors. Conclusion: The job characteristics of visiting healthcare personnel are highly correlated with emotional empowerment. Autonomy, task identity, and task significance are predictive factors of emotional empowerment. These results can be used to develop more effective job planning for increasing organizational effectiveness in visiting healthcare personnel.

대도시지역 동단위 지역담당 방문간호소서비스 효과분석 - 뇌졸중 환자를 대상으로 - (An Evaluation of the Visiting Nursing Service Model Based on the District Management System - focused on stroke patients -)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the effect of visiting nursing of the visiting nursing services based on the district management system on the subjects of stroke patients. Method: A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was applied to 50 stroke patients (31 from the experimental group, 19 from the control group). To evaluate the effects of visiting nursing services. health status(SF-36) and activity daily living(ADL/IADL) were measured from June 2003 to November 2004. Result: Health condition and the activities of daily living (ADL/IADL) of the subjects who received visiting nursing service were shown to be improved. Conclusion: Visiting health service model based on the district management system in public health center is considered to be an effective measure of visiting nursing services in large cities.

재가방문 요양보호사의 건강정보 이해력, 자기효능감이 서비스의 질에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Health Literacy and Self-efficacy on the Quality of Care Service for Home Visitor Care Workers)

  • Purpose: This descriptive research study aimed to identify the effect of the health literacy and self-efficacy on the quality of care service of home visitor care workers. Methods: The participants were 124 home visitor care workers who had worked for more than six months at one of the five home-based welfare centers located in D metropolitan city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program. Results: The quality of care service differed significantly by age (F=-1.03, p<.001), career (F=5.09, p=.002), and education status (F=9.57, p<.001). A statistically significant positive relationship was observed between the quality of care service and self-efficacy (r=.63, p<.001). A total of 55.3% of the variance of quality of care service was explained by age and self-efficacy. Conclusion: Based on the results, it is necessary to develop and prepare programs that can increase the self-efficacy of home visitor care workers through a nursing approach to improve the quality of life of elderly.

치매 노인을 돌보는 요양보호사의 서비스 질에 미치는 영향요인: 치매에 대한 지식, 일 가치감과 업무수행 자신감을 중심으로 (Influencing Factors Affecting Caregivers' Service Quality for the Elderly with Dementia: Focusing on Dementia Knowledge, Work Value, and Job Performance Confidence)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify influencing factors affecting service quality provided by caregivers working for the elderly with dementia. Methods: Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire from 214 caregivers in a long-term care facility in D city. The data were analyzed with service quality, dementia knowledge, work value, and job performance confidence. For data analysis, the descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were performed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: There were significant differences in service quality depending on the health status. Factors influencing service quality were work value, and job performance confidence with R2 value of 38%. The highly influencing factors were work value, and job performance confidence. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the effort to improve the service quality of caregivers should focus on work value and job performance confidence.
