  • 하천에 포함되는 각종 시설물을 설계하는데 있어 기준이 되는 하천설계기준에는 대부분 하천의 대표유속을 통해 시설물의 규모와 형태를 결정하는 공식이 제시되어 있다. 이러한 대표유속의 경우 대부분 평균유속을 사용하고 있으며 하천의 형태와 시설 등에 의한 영향으로 국부적으로 유속이 증가하는 경우 유속보정계수를 이용하여 평균유속을 보정하여 사용한다. 이러한 유속보정계수는 만곡, 세굴, 저수로 간섭, 근고공 및 수제공 등에 적용되며 본 연구에서는 하천의 곡률에 의한 유속보정계수를 수치모의를 통해 검증하고자 한다. 하도 중심의 곡률반경의 변화에 따른 평균 유속과 국부유속의 차이를 계산하고 기 제시된 보정계수 산정식과 비교하여 산정식의 활용성에 대한 검증을 수행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 유속보정계수의 중요성과 활용성을 제고하고 하천시설물의 설계 시에 평균유속이 아닌 보정된 대표유속을 활용한다면 하천시설물에 대한 안전성을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

A Study on the Narrow-band Interference Rejection in DS Spread-spectrum Systems (DS 스펙트럼 확산 시스템의 협대역 간섭 제거에 관한 연구)

  • A new lattice structure using decision feedback and augmented prediction for estimating and suppressing the narrowband interference is presented. The performance of the proposed interference canceller is compared to the conventional interference cancellation filter. The reference signal of the interference canceller is formed by using the chip decisions, which is correlated with the narrowband interference components of the received signal. The decision feedback technique reduce the distortion of the desired signal which is introduced by the interference canceller through the use of feedback chip decisions. And by linear prediction of the error signal, the residual interference component of can be eliminated, Using this unconteminated error signal to update the adaptive filter coefficients, the performance of the rejection can be improved. In the simulation, it is assumed that the processing gains are 7 and 15, signal to interference ratio is -10[dB], and 5% interference band. The results show that the BER performance of the proposed filter structure is improved by 1~3dB.

  • The EPMA analysis for CHIME dating requires standard materials, which include nuclear fuel materials that are rare and sensitive to handle. Any laboratory that does not meet these standards has had difficulties adopting the CHIME dating method. We have developed a working standard technique for CHIME dating to prepare standard materials without use of nuclear fuel materials. Mineral samples, such as small pieces of monazite that are homogeneous in X-ray intensities, are calibrated using well-characterized primary standards in one laboratory. Once this procedure is done, they can be readily usable as working standards in the other laboratories, only with measurement of X-ray intensities. This method is applicable in preparing standard materials for both chemical compositions and determination of X-ray interference correction factors, and it is independent from chemical composition of mineral standard.

  • 본 논문에서는 GB-SAR의 간섭기법을 이용하여 물체의 변위 측정에 대한 정밀도를 조사하였으며, 또한 대기보정을 거친 후 정밀도의 변화에 대해서 확인하였다. GB-SAR 시스템에서 안테나는 중심주파수 5.3 GHz, 밴드 폭 600 MHz인 C밴드 안테나를 사용하였고, 신호의 증폭을 위해 마이크로파 앰프를, 다편파 측정 및 분석을 위하여 스위치를 장착하였다. 레일의 총 길이는 5 m, 이동간격은 5 cm, 최대 관측 거리는 약 200 m이다. 변위 측정에 사용된 이동산란체는 trihedral corner reflector로서, 시스템 전방 약 160 m에 위치하며 시스템 방향으로 1 mm에서 40 mm 전진시켰다. 이동산란체의 실제 변위와 GB-SAR 시스템의 위상변화로 관측된 변위의 상관계수는 편파에 따라 0.9995에서 0.9996으로 나타났다. 마이크로파의 전파과정에서 거리와 습도에 따른 지연 효과를 고려하기 위하여 대기보정식을 구하였으며, 이를 이동산란체의 위상에 적용한 결과 상관계수는 0.9997에서 0.9999의 값을 나타냈고 40 mm 이동시 오차가 1 mm 이내를 나타냄으로서 대기보정을 통한 결과가 더 높은 정밀도를 나타냄을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 스포츠급 경항공기 모형의 공력 특성을 공군사관학교 아음속 풍동에서 측정하였다. 풍동시험은 유속 40m/s에서 이전 모델과 최근 공력성능 향상을 위해 보완된 모델에 대해 비교 실험 수행하였으며, 정확한 데이터를 얻기 위하여 흐름각 효과, 벽면효과, 지지대 간섭효과를 보정하여 공력계수를 산출하였다. 실험 결과, 두 모델의 항력계수와 양력계수가 전체적으로 유사한 경향성을 보이나 고받음각에서의 양력특성의 차이가 발생하였다. 또한 실제 비행 시의 레이놀즈 수 유동을 모사하기 위하여 Trip strip의 영향에 대하여 실험하였다. 그 결과 Trip strip을 부착하였을 경우 항력계수가 증가하고 최소항력받음각이 낮아지는 결과를 획득하였다.

  • Rare earth elements including Y and Th in the monazite were separated and determined by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. The matrix effects among the rare earth elements were simultaneously corrected by means of empirical coefficient method. The values of the coefficients were quite dependent on the number of the standards. However, the different set of coefficients led to the same results. The analytical results corrected by the present method agreed with those by the inductively coupled plasma spectrometry.

  • A wind tunnel test of 29.7% scaled model of NASA Common Research Model with belly model support was performed in small low speed wind tunnel. The static aerodynamic forces and moments of CRM were measured with belly sting support configuration. Pitching moments of belly sting with various fairings were compared and small interference fairing shape was found. The belly sting model support interference and reducing effect of fairing shapes with CFD analysis.

  • This paper presents a new NC machine performance test and calibration system. In order to measure NC machine erros in simpler, and less time-comsuming way, some indirect measuring systems such as circular disk system and double ball bar system have been developed instead of laser interferometer. But these indirect measuring systems have shown their limits in identifying each of NC machine error sources in absolute numerical value. Therefore, we developed an unique NC machine error measurement system which provides a simple measuring process like other conventional indirect methods and still can indentify each of NC machine error sources in absolute numerical value.

  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) was performed under low-speed wind tunnel test conditions using a 29.7% scale model of the NASA common research model. A wind tunnel test was conducted to measure the aerodynamic coefficient of the CRM with Belly sting model support configuration at a low Reynolds number of 0.3×106 and it was compared with the aerodynamic coefficient of CFD analysis. In order to verify the validation of the analysis, a computational analysis under the conditions of the advance research was performed and compared. The interference effect of the Belly sting model support affected not only the fuselage but also the main and tail wings.

  • An accelerometer-based system was designed and constructed for drag measurement in a shock tunnel. Drag coefficient of a conical model was measured under a Mach 6 flow condition. A simple and intuitive calibration method was presented to compensate for the friction force of the drag measurement system, and the results of the measurement were compared with computational fluid dynamics in which the simple conical model was analyzed. The influence of drag measurement interference by supports of various shapes was identified and the design was presented to minimize. The drag coefficient measurement using the modified support showed that the error of the drag coefficient by the support was decreased.
