Comparison between Subjective and Objective Angle of Deviation Using by Synoptophore and Prism Bar in Strabismus Patients (사시환자에서 Synoptophore와 Prism bar를 이용한 자각적 사시각과 타각적 사시각의 비교)

  • Purpose: We studied the relationship between subjective and objective deviating angle. Methods: Those who were diagnosed with strabismus among the patients who had no systemic diseases that fifty-one subjects (Male; 21, Female; 30) were measured between seven to sixty three years, evaluated to alternate cover test after AR/K (Canon RK-FI, Japan) and retinoscope measured refractive errors. Objective deviating angle was measured using prism bar; and subjective and objective deviating angles were measured and compared using the synoptophore. Results: For the correlation between subjective and objective deviating angles. The differences were $2.6{\pm}2.5{\Delta}$, between subjective deviating angle measured using synoptophore and objective deviating angles measured using synoptophore were $0.7{\pm}1.4{\Delta}$, the average with each other were $1.7{\pm}1.8{\Delta}$, with all the differences highly significant. Conclusions: We thought not only reduced angle of deviating errors and identified the significance in the correlation between subjective and objective deviating angles but also considered to be useful in determining deviating angle of patient with strabismus.

  • 최근 딥러닝을 이용한 SAR 영상의 목표물을 인식하는 알고리즘이 괄목할만한 성능을 보여주었다. 이러한 알고리즘들은 포즈 각도 정보를 무시한 채 목표물의 종류를 추정하는 것에만 초점을 맞춘다. 포즈 각도 추정 알고리즘은 단지 SAR 영상 목표물 인식 알고리즘의 전처리 과정으로 연구되었다. 하지만 감시 시스템에서, 목표물이 향하고 있는 방향을 추정하는 것 또한 중요하다. 먼저, 포즈 각도 추정을 통하여 적의 전술 배치를 계획을 추정할 수 있다. 또한 목표물이 아군 쪽을 바라보면 큰 위협이 되는데, 포즈 각도 추정을 통하여 이러한 정보를 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 목표물이 향하고 방향을 추정할 수 있는 콘볼루션 네트워크를 고안하였다. 네트워크를 학습시키기 위하여 SAR 영상의 목표물의 포즈 각도를 양자화하여 포즈 각도 label 을 구성하였다. 또한 이러한 포즈 각도 추정을 정제하는 알고리즘을 고안하였고 이는 보다 정확한 포즈 각도 추정을 가능하게 하였다. 그 결과, 제안된 네트워크는 포즈 각도 추정에 높은 정확도를 보여준다.

Definition of Impact Angle and Impact Angle Control Law Against Maneuvering Target (기동표적에 대한 입사각 정의와 입사각 제어 유도법칙)

  • In this paper, a guidance law for intercepting maneuvering target with a desired impact angle is proposed. The proposed guidance law is modified from the optimal impact angle control law for a fixed target and given by a biased PN law with the impact angle control term in addition to the conventional PN law. Three different kinds of desired impact angles in the respect of LOS angle, flight path angle, and relative flight path angle to the target are defined. The performance of the proposed guidance law is investigated via numerical simulations for various air-to-air engagement scenarios.

A Comparative Study on Teaching Contents for Angle and Measure of an Angle in Elementary Mathematics Textbook between Korea and Japan (우리나라와 일본의 초등학교 수학 교과서에서의 각 및 각도 지도 내용 비교 연구)

  • In this paper, the teaching contents for angle and measure of an angle in elementary mathematics textbook between Korea and Japan were compared. From this comparison, the following five suggestions were presented as implications to improve the teaching contents for angle and measure of an angle in elementary mathematics textbook in Korea. First, it is necessary to reconsider the way of the definition of angle. There is no use of half line in elementary mathematics, except when to define angle, and the way to define angle and the way to define right angle are not consistent. Second, considering to associate the turning of plane geometrical figures to the $90^{\circ}$, $180^{\circ}$, $270^{\circ}$, $360^{\circ}$ is necessary, and associating them is connected to dealing with point-symmetrical shapes in the fifth grade. Third, there is a need to deal with "the measures of angles are same." in comparing angles. This is possible by superimposing two angles in comparing the measures of them. Fourthly, it is necessary to consider the introduction of the rotational angle. Dealing with the $360^{\circ}$ as the rotational angle is related to explaining that the sum of measures of interior angles in quadrangle is $360^{\circ}$. Fifth, it is necessary to be connected with middle school mathematics curriculum. The term 'straight angle' is used in middle school, and to obtain the sum of the measures of the interior angles of a regular polygon is the contents to be dealt with in middle school.

Analysis on number sense for problem solving methods of elementary and middle school students (초등학생과 중학생의 수감각 문제해결 방법에 대한 분석)

  • Mathematics education emphasizes on nurturing number sense, but researches on this have been scarce, and most of them has been confined to elementary level students. This thesis, therefore, tried to analyze how elementary students solve mathematics sense problems in order to give some insight into how to teach number sense. For this, this thesis categorized into two ways of using number sense and algorithm as problem solving, and analyzed students' responses using test sheets. Accordingly, middle school students showed higher score on the number sense test and higher rates of using number sense than elementary students. In addition, students showing higher achievement used both number sense and algorithm, but those of lower achievement were more likely to use only algorithm. Plus, among students showing higher achievement, middle school students used more number sense than elementary school students, but there was not meaningful difference among those showing lower achievement. Lastly, It was shown that there was difference in the rate using number sense according to the number sense components.

An Experimental Study of the Performance on a Rotating Turbine with Various incidences (터빈입사각에 따른 회전하는 터빈의 성능에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • An experimental study on a rotating turbine is conducted with various incidence angles in order to find an optimum incidence angle. The incidence angle is an important design parameter in turbine blade design. however, most of experiments were conducted in a linear or annual cascade row. The suggested incidence angles from the experiments conducted in cascade rows could be unsuitable as a design parameter in the design of rotating parts. In this study, various incidence angles are applied and the turbine performance is measured in a rotating state. Experimental results show that the incidence on the rotor has a great influence on the turbine efficiency. The range of applicable incidence becomes narrow when the turbine operates at high input power. In the case of the tested rotor, the optimum incidence is about $-12^{\circ}$.

An Analysis and Criticism on Contents Related on Angular Measure in Korean Elementary Mathematics Subject (우리나라 초등학교 수학과에서의 각도 관련 내용의 분석과 비판)

  • In school mathematics, gakdo(korean, ie angular measure in english) lost effectiveness as a term, on the other hand, an expression gak-ui-kugi(korean, ie size of angle in english) is prevalent these days. So it is necessary to accept this expression. It is necessary to specify in textbook that the size of angle rely on the degree of gap between two edges regardless of the length of edges. The content of curriculum manual and the content of textbooks must be reconciled. Random units for measuring the size of angle are not contained in textbooks. It can be possible, but it is not carried out actually. So, it is necessary not to require it in curriculum manual considering this circumstance. In curriculum manual, it is necessary to specify the role of 1-right angle as a standard unit, and situations to use it must be presented in textbooks. In cut-paste method of finding the sum of the size of three angles in a triangle and the sum of the size of four angles in a quadrilateral, keeping a straight angle and one rotation in mind, an explanation is based upon a premise that students know how to express the $180{^{\circ}}$ and $360{^{\circ}}$ in figure as a result. It is a leap of logic.

유공Caisson식 방파제에 작용하는 파력에 관한 연구

  • 파의 에너지 감쇠기구의 관점에서 볼 때 분류손실방식인 유공벽식 방파제 중에서 원형공이 벽 전체에 균일하게 분포되어 있고 구멍 직경에 비해 벽 두께가 얇은 삼중 유공벽형 Caisson의 각 벽에 작용하는 파력에 고나해 이론적 접근과 실험을 통한 실증을 시도해 보았다. 이론적인 방법으로는 토굴구효남의 이론을 응용하였으며 주어진 파랑조건에 대해 각 유공벽 전 후면에 연속방정식과 Bernoulli 방정식을 이용하여, 각 영역별 연속 Potential의 진폭과 위상각에 대한 비선형 12원 연립방정식을 만들었고 Computer를 이용하여 반복법으로 각 속도 Potential을 확정하였다. 이렇게 구한 속도 Potential을 압력방정식에 대입하여 각 벽별 파력을 계산하였으며 동일한 파랑조건하의 실험에서 각 벽별 파력을 측정하여 양자를 서로 비교검토하였다. Bernoulli의 방정식중 에너지 손실항은 의사비선형으로 처리하였다. 유공율조합 0.25-0.3-0.2이고, 판두께가 1cm인 모형의 실험결과, 각 벽별 최대파력치의 특성으로서는 첫때, S-2, S-3등 간벽에 작용하는 파력이 전벽 및 후벽에 비해 두드러지게 작다는 사실과, 둘째 작용파력의 크기 순이 파형경사가 작을 때는 대략 S-4, S-1, S-2, S-3순이고 파형경사가 클 때에는 대략 S-1, S-4, S-2, S-3순이라는 점 등을 들 수 있겠다. 굴구효남이 가정한 f의 치 1.5를 사용하여 계산한 각 벽별 최대파력을 실험치와 비교해 본 결과, 파가 각 유공벽을 통과할 때의 손실수두를 실험에서의 양만큼 fr=1.5를 가정한 수학적 model이 설명해 주지 못한다고 볼 수 있으므로 두가지 방법에 의하여 본 실험에서 사용한 유공판의 손실계수를 근사적으로 추정하여 보았다. 추정한 f를 사용하여 다시금 각 벽별 최대파력을 계산하고 실험치와 비교해 보면 훨씬 서로 근접함을 알 수 있었다. 결국 본 논문의 이론을 사용하면 유공Caisson문제의 전체적인 윤곽 및 각 변수들의 파력에 대한 영향을 파악할 수 있겠다.

The concept of the angle presented in the middle school mathematics textbooks (중학교 수학교과서에 제시된 각 개념 제시 양상)

  • Angle has a variety of aspects, such as figure, measurement, and rotation, but is mainly introduced from a figure perspective and a quantitative perspective of the angle is also partially experienced in the elementary mathematics textbooks. The purpose of this study was to examine how the angle concept introduction and development pattern in elementary school mathematics textbooks are linked or changed in middle school mathematics textbooks, and based on this, was to get the direction of writing math textbooks and implications for guidance. To this end, 57 math textbooks for the first grade of middle school were collected from the first to the 2015 revised curriculum. As a result of the study, it was found that middle school textbooks had a greater dynamic aspect of each than elementary school textbooks, and the proportion of quantitative attributes of angle was higher in addition to qualitative and relational attributes. In other words, the concept of angle in middle school textbooks is presented in a more multifaceted and complex form than in elementary school textbooks. Finally, matters that require consensus within elementary, secondary, and secondary schools were also proposed, such as the use of visual expression or symbol, such as the use of arrows and dots, and the use of mathematical terms such as vertex of angle and side of angle.

Geophysical and Geological Exploration of Cobalt-rich Ferromanganese Crusts on a Seamount in the Western Pacific (서태평양 해저산 고코발트 망간각 자원평가를 위한 광역 탐사 방안)

  • Co-rich ferromanganese crusts (Fe-Mn crusts) distributed on the seamounts in the western Pacific are potential economic resources for cobalt, nickel, platinum, and other rare metals in the future. Regulations for prospecting and exploration of Fe-Mn crusts in the Area, which enables the process to obtain an exclusive exploration right for blocks of the fixed size, were enacted recently by the International Seabed Authority, which led to public attention on its potential for commercial development. Evaluation and selection of a mining site can be established based on abundance and grade of Fe-Mn crusts in the site as well as topography that should be smooth enough for mining efficiency. Therefore, acquisition of shipboard echo-sounding and acoustic backscatter data are prerequisite to select potential mine sites in addition to visual and sampling operations. Acoustic backscatter data can be used to locate crust-covered areas in a regional scale with the understanding of acoustic properties of crust through its correlation with visual and sampling data. KIOST had collected the topographic and geologic data to assess the resources potential for Fe-Mn crusts in the west Pacific region from 1994 to 2001. However, they could not obtain acoustic backscatter data that is crucial for the selection of prospective mining sites. Therefore, additional exploration surveys are required to carry out side scan sonar mapping combined with seafloor observation and sampling to decide the blocks for application of an exclusive exploration right.
