A Case Study on the Students' Attitude toward User-Created Contents in Discretionary Classes of Elementary School (UCC 활용교육에 관한 학습자 태도 연구 - 초등학교 재량교육 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • User-created content(UCC) is on the rapid increase both in terms of quantity and the quality of sharing and enjoying each others. However, not much research has been done on school's adoption of this innovative contents for educational purposes. The aim of this case study is to identify the determinants of students' attitude toward using UCC in elementary school classes. This study employs the perceived educational value, ease of use, social influence, fun, computer self-efficacy, cooperativity and concentration as the antecedents of attitude, and collected 246 survey responses from 5th and 6th grade students. The results indicate that the perceived educational value, ease of use and socal influence have significant impact on the attitude toward using UCC. It was also found that the cooperativity, fun and ease of use determine the level of perceived educational value, and that the computer self-efficacy, fun and concentration influence the perceived ease of use. Some useful suggestions, concerning the utilizing UCC for educational purpose in elementary school classes, are also presented.

  • Tourist industry has many sensitive issues with climate change and is worthy of study from an aspect that it could provide new opportunities and threats from the low-carbon - green- growth point of view. To study how the change of awareness and attitude of the customers due to climate change affects the tourism demand and tourism choices is very important. Even at present, the effect is ongoing. In this paper, diverse needs and changes of tourists, who are the subjects of tourism activities, have been grasped through the examination of psychological characteristics according to climate change after defining the influencing relations of tourism experience, tourism value, tourism risk factors, satisfaction, and behavioral intention, affected by awareness of climate change and their attitude toward it. Through this, the implications that are necessary for establishing marketing strategies could be provided. The results of this present paper are as follows: First, it was shown that awareness of climate change did not affect tourism risk factors while it had a significant influence on tourism experience and tourism value. Secondly, it was revealed that the Chinese tourists generally influenced more greatly than the Koreans. Thirdly, it was shown that the attitude toward climate change did not affect tourism value while it influenced significantly on tourism experience and tourism risk factors. Fourthly, it was revealed that tourism risk factors did not affect tourism satisfaction while tourism experience and tourism value had a significant influence on tourist satisfaction. Fifthly and last, it was shown that tourism experience, tourism value, and tourism risk factors did not influence behavioral intention respectively.

Analyzing the Effects of Consumer Value Perception, Environmental Motives, and Perceived Barriers on the Purchase Intention of Vegan Cosmetics (비건 화장품의 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 소비자 가치 인식, 환경적 동기 및 지각된 장벽의 영향 분석)

  • Amidst the rapid growth of the vegan cosmetics market, consumer orientation towards environmental and ethical values has been intensifying. However, research on this subject remains limited. This study delves into the relationship between consumer value perception, environmental motivations, and perceived barriers influencing the purchase intentions of vegan cosmetics. Conducting a PLS-SEM analysis on a sample of 300 women with experience using vegan cosmetics, it was discerned that monetary value, social value, brand value, emotional value, quality value, and environmental knowledge play significant roles in influencing purchase intentions. The moderating effect analysis highlighted image barriers and value barriers as crucial factors. Through Importance-Performance Map Analysis, emotional value emerged as a pivotal element in strategizing to strengthen the purchasing intentions for vegan cosmetics. This research contributes both theoretically and practically to enhancing the competitive edge of the vegan cosmetics market and promoting sustainable consumption behavior.

Characteristics of and factors affecting on students' attitude toward mathematics (초.중.고등학교 학생의 수학에 대한 태도 특성 및 영향 요인)

  • It is known that Korean students performs very well in mathematics but show poor attitude toward mathematics. However, attitude itself is an important goal of education and it also promotes students learning. Therefore, it is important and urgent for us to find a way to improve students' attitude toward mathematics. In this article, we tried to examine characteristics of Korean students' attitude toward mathematics and identify student and school level factors affecting it. For this purpose, we analysed National Assessment of Educational Achievement (NAEA) data in 2007 when NAEA was conducted especially focused on mathematics. Main findings of this research are as follows. First, we found that attitude toward mathematics got lower as students advanced to higher grades. And among 3 sub-domains of attitude toward mathematics, interest and self-confidence were lower than perception of value of mathematics. Secondly, attitude toward mathematics was mainly affected by student background variables such as gender, achievement, participation in private tutoring, father's education level. And while school factors contributed relatively little to students' attitude toward mathematics, teacher's perception on value of school education was positively related with students' attitude in high schools and emphasis on assessment was negatively related with students' attitude in elementary schools.

The Effect of Customer Perceived Value on Social Commerce Usage Intention (소비자의 지각된 가치가 소셜커머스 이용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Social commerce is a more recent phenomenon and growing in number and size with the diffusion of social networking services. But it has not been studied as extensively. The purpose of this study is to investigate consumers' social commerce usage intention empirically. Using the theory of reasoned action suggested by Fishbein and Ajzen(1975), this study tests that perceived value created by social commerce affects social commerce usage intention. In this study, authors e identify to the conception of perceived value as a multidimensional construct, economic, psychology, and time value. This study is to analyze the effects of the value perceived by the consumer on attitude toward social commerce and the effects of the attitude and subjective norm on social commerce usage intention. Additionally, we examine the moderating role of coupon redemption effort in the relationship between attitude toward social commerce and usage intention. In order to evaluative the validity of the model, 258 questionnaires were collected from college students who frequently use SNS and accept new trend and technology using internet survey. All the instrument items used in this study were adapted from previous research and the data were analyzed using SPSS 18 and AMOS 7. This study proposed several hypotheses and conducted an experiment to test these hypotheses. Based on the data analysis results, it was found that economic and psychology value has significant effects on attitude toward the social commerce but time value had not the effect on attitude toward the social commerce. And the present study has also shown that both attitude toward the social commerce and subjective norm significantly influenced usage intention. This finding suggests that the theory of reasoned action effectively explains the social commerce usage intention. The result regarding the moderating effect of the coupon redemption effort has shown that the attitude toward social commerce and usage intention is moderated by consumer perception about coupon redemption.

  • Recently the sales of PB products attribute shows a steady growth day by day. The consumers buy them due to low prices, however, lately they buy the high premium PB products. And thus the large distributors made a rapid growth of sales. The aim of this study is to analyze what the PB products attributes may affect the consumers' purchase behavior. First, the attribute factors of the PB products: store image, knowledge and information, quality perception, economic value etc. have effects on the consumer attitude after usage experience with PB products. Second, the consumer attitude after usage experience with PB products can have an effect on the purchase behavior. As a result of this study, the various attributes of PB products such as store image, knowledge and information, quality perception, economic value appeared to be positive effect. At the same time the attitude after buying the PB products showed positive effects on the purchase behavior.

  • 본 연구에서는 "가족교육의 부재"를 경험하고 있는 현시점에서 가정교육의 정상성을 회복하고자 하는 노력의 일환으로 가정교육에 대한 기본태도와 가치성향을 규명할 수 있는 척도를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다 본연구의 목적을 위하여 써스톤척도(Thurstone scale)에 근거하여 여러 가지 문항 탐색과정과 평가자 선별과정 및 통?거 절차를 거쳤으며 그 결과로서 24문항으로 구성된 척도가 마련되었다 본 척도는 가정교육에 대한 태도의 비교 연구 및 가정교육의 내용 방법론 등의 연구에 활용될 수 있을것이다.

  • In this study, it was necessary to examine consumer acceptance attitudes from an in-depth and multifaceted perspective at a time when the need for chatbot services in various industrial fields is increasing and being activated in earnest. Accordingly, this study conducted a structural equation model to examine not only the structural relationship between ease, usefulness, and playfulness among the main functions of chatbot services and their acceptance attitudes, but also whether there is a mediating effect of service value in the relationship. As a result of the main study of this study, it was identified that the relationship between the ease, usefulness, and playfulness factors, which are the main functional sub-factors of the chatbot service, and their acceptance attitude and service value had a statistically static influence relationship. Based on these research results, the main research conclusions suggest that when companies in various fields provide chatbot services in the future, it is necessary to clearly determine the influencing factors that can affect the chatbot service acceptance attitude and provide these services. Through this, it is expected that the AI chatbot service will strengthen communication with consumers and establish itself as a customized and personalized counseling service.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of community characteristics of induced participants on values, attitudes, and behaviors (VAB) and intention to continue participation. Convenience sampling (n=192) was used to sample the research subjects, and confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling were conducted using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0. The results of this study are as follows. 1) Among the community attributes of the participants, reputation, enjoyment, interaction, and social connection had a significant impact. 2) Value-Attitude-Behavior (VAB) was found to have a significant hierarchical impact. 3) Behavioral intention was found to have a significant effect on continuation intention. Through this, the Judo community needs to build a participant-centered organizational culture that can create positive value in order to increase participants' participation in Judo.
