  • In terms of the product conforming to a social value of integration of digital and design, the importance of brick toys aiming at the convergence with digital technology in various ways has increased on the strength of expanded base of users and in pursuit of design innovation. Given that previous studies on bricks centered on the role as a tool of flay and education, it is true that studies on other indefinite potentials and expandability in light of multimedia have not been conducted. This study was initiated with a question how the brick system toys, which is gradually gaining popularity, has evolved and is aimed at examining the status of evolvement through study of basic theories and analysis of examples. Based on this, it is intended to explore the possibility of the digital brick system by executing design process utilizing examples of comprehensive brick system with expanded form.

Digital Face Design with Reference to Contemporary Fashion (현대패션의 관점에서 본 디지털 페이스디자인)

  • This study based on the digital innovation of the fashion industry has researched digital-based face design that already has many users all over the world through social media and has influenced the fashion industry. The purpose of this study is to present the future vision of the direction of the fashion industry by classifying representative cases of augmented reality-based digital face design and deriving the oriented value that penetrates them. It was needed to analyzing 3D designer's works that provide digital filter-based face design to the public through Instagram and Facebook. As a result of observing the oriented value of digital face design from the point of view of modern fashion through case exploration, three trends were drawn: experimental formativeness orientation, playful experience orientation, and future technology orientation. This study limited the scope to digital-based face design, but the conclusions presented through these are applicable to all areas of fashion. Therefore, it is supposed to expect to study new phenomena related to fashion design and fashion communication based on digital augmented reality beyond the scope of face design in the future.

  • A life cycle cost analysis model for public water supply systems should be different from the ones for other civil and architectural facilities as the operation and the maintenance cost of the water supply systems mainly come from the various mechanical systems and the pipeline systems of the collecting/treating/distributing facilities. This paper presents a cost classification scheme and a probabilistic life cycle cost analysis (PLCCA) model for public water supply systems. A value analysis (VA) procedure that is well suited for practical purposes is also presented. The presented probabilistic life cycle model and the value analysis procedure were applied to a real world project, and this case study is discussed in the paper. The model and the procedure presented in this study can greatly contribute to the value-oriented design alternative selection, the estimation of the maintenance cost, and the allocation of budget for water supply system construction projects.

  • In the context of integration of culture and tourism, the effective application of folk art in cultural creative products is of great significance to the development of local cultural industry. Xuzhou paper-cutting is the only world-class intangible cultural heritage project in the northern Jiangsu region of China. Its high humanistic value and artistic characteristics are widely used in modern art design. The application of cultural and creative products relative to paper-cutting in Xuzhou mainly focuses on two-dimensional decorative and ornamental products, which is short of diversity in form and not practical. In addition, it doesn't meet the aesthetic needs of living of modern people, This article studies paper-cut works by Wang Guiying and proposes principles for the design of cultural and creative products relative to paper-cutting by analyzing the typical "goose" pattern in Wang's paper cutting handcrafts. By exploring the application value of Xuzhou paper-cutting in cultural and creative product design and demonstrating the feasibility of the design principles via visiting experts, this article hopes to provide some reference for the modern inheritance and innovative development of paper-cutting culture.

  • This study highlights the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology on journalism, discussing its utility and addressing major ethical concerns. Broadcasting companies and media institutions, such as the Bloomberg, Guardian, WSJ, WP, NYT, globally are utilizing AI for innovation in news production, data analysis, and content generation. Accordingly, the ecosystem of AI journalism will be analyzed in terms of scale, economic feasibility, diversity, and value enhancement of major media AI service types. Through the previous literature review, this study identifies key ethical and social issues in AI journalism as well. It aims to bridge societal and technological concerns by exploring mutual development directions for AI technology and the media industry. Additionally, it advocates for the necessity of integrated guidelines and advanced AI literacy through social consensus in addressing these issues.

  • Today, when innovation and creativity become increasingly important, management of human resources is a key factor for corporate performance and competitive advantage. Corporate are implementing and introducing various types of support methods for members to achieve goals and improve organizational performance. Organizational culture and organizational trust affect the cognitive and emotional state of members. Furthermore, it can bring about changes in organizational performance such as job stress and job satisfaction. From an institutional point of view, work-life balance is also a major factor affecting organizational performance. The imbalance between work and life leads to a decline in organizational performance, such as decreased morale and dissatisfaction with work. In relation to work-life balance, the low birth rate problem intensified and the importance began to emerge. Therefore, the government has implemented various policy support for workers' work-life balance, and the "52-hour workweek" is a representative example. This study analyzed the effect of organizational culture applying the competitive value model on workers' job stress. In addition, the mediating effects of overtime work per week and organizational trust were analyzed. Job stress corresponds to a prerequisite stage that affects job commitment, job satisfaction, and turnover intention. However, research measuring job stress by organizational performance is insufficient. In addition, there are few studies analyzing the relationship between overtime and organizational performance. Considering this, it is necessary to understand the influence relationship. The results of the study are as follows. First, a hierarchical culture increases the job stress of workers. On the other hand, innovation-oriented, relationship-oriented, and competition-oriented corporate culture reduce job stress. Second, a hierarchical culture has reduced trust in the organization, and other organizational cultures have increased trust in the organization. Third, relationship-oriented and competition-oriented organizational culture reduced overtime. Innovation-oriented, hierarchical-oriented culture increased overtime Fourth, organizational trust and overtime have the effect of mediating organizational culture and job stress. Based on these analysis results, this study presented academic and political implications.

  • The paper discusses several means for estimating appropriating discount rates to value non-traded assets. That Is, this study discusses the relationship between market equity beta and observable finance information. The relationship can in principle be used to determine betas for non-traded entity for which conventional market model or pure-play techniques are impractical. In addition, the paper shows on model researched by Patterson in 1993. Patterson's research investigates the cross-sectional relationship market beta and accounting beta in Canadian capital market.

  • 1844년 Rochdale Pioneers는 소비자 협동조합을 만들고 그 첫 번째 상점을 열었다. 이 소비조합을 통해 지역 주민에게 양질의 식품을 저렴한 가격에 제공했다. 이러한 유럽의 전통적이고 좌파성향의 경제적 분배이념이 발전하여 유럽의 사회적 기업의 발판이 되었다. 뿐 만 아니라 1991년 이탈리아에서는 주주나 소유주의 이익 산출보다는 공동체 또는 구성원을 위하는 사회적 경제 개념의 협동조합이 시작되었다. 1980년 아쇼카 재단의 설립자 빌 드레이튼은 슘페트에 의해 처음 소개된 '기업가정신'을 한 단계 높은 차원으로 끌어올렸다. 그는 기업가 정신을 사회적 혁신에도 적용하여 사회의 난제에 대해서도 창조적 파괴를 시도하자는 뜻에서 사회적'과 '기업가'를 합성하여 사회적 기업가 정신이라고 사용했다. 이러한 사회적 기업의 발전 과정에서 보면 유럽과 미국의 인식의 차이를 우리는 느낄 수 있다. 유럽의 경우는 좌파적 성향이 담겨져 있다. 유럽의 사회적 기업은 협동조합에서 알 수 있듯이 공평한 분배 개념에의 접근이다. 그에 비해서 미국의 경우는 우파적 성향이 강하다. 미국은 기업가 정신이 투철한 기업가가 많은 부를 축척하고 이렇게 축척된 부의 분배 과정에서 사회적 가치가 강조된다. 이러한 사회적 기업을 가능하게 하는 요인 중 하나가 사회적 자본으로 불리는 네트워크이다. 본 연구는 25개의 사회적 기업 실증을 통하여 생존을 위한 전략적 차원에서 네트워크의 다양성과 강도가 사회적 기업의 기업생존과 고용성장, 매출성장 나아가 권한위임에 정의 관계가 있음을 검증하였다.

  • It is required that public schools in information society should act as a balancer between the equal educational opportunity and development of the personal capacity. However, public schools have faced a situation to be blamed and praised by social parties concerned from the point of view of educational excellence. The aim of this study is to suggest some conceptual ideas for sharing & delivery system of educational information, which is based on the paradigm of web 2.0 characterized as participation, sharing, and openness. To do it, we analyzed the recent technological trends and took a group discussion with leading teachers in educational information.

공기업(公企業) 민영화방안(民營化方案)

  • 현재 우리나라 경제구조조정의 3대 핵심분야의 하나인 공기업 부문의 성공적인 개혁을 위해서는, 공기업 내부효율 차원을 넘어 정부의 역할, 산업정책의 목표 및 경쟁정책과 산업정책간의 갈등이라는 보다 근본적인 차원에서 공기업문제에 접근하는 것이 필요하다. 본고에서는 특히 상업성이 강한 대규모 공기업에 중점을 두고, 그 설립배경에서 출발하여 현행 공기업정책이 지난 문제점을 산업정책 및 경쟁정책과 연계하여 분석하고 공기업 경영 및 자원배분의 효율성을 제고할 수 있는 민영화 및 경영혁신방안을 제시하고 있다. 특히 선정부 출범 이후 추진되고 있는 민영화계획은 다음과 같은 점에서 개선될 필요가 있다. 첫째, 민영화대상 공기업들은 완전민영화 이전에 1997 년에 도입된 "공기업 특별법"의 적용을 받도록 하여 이윤동기 및 기업가치 극대화에 의거한 기업경영 및 지배구조의 정착을 유도하되, 특별법의 내용을 보완하여 기업경영에 대하여 주무부처의 간섭으로부터 완전독립을 보장하는 것이 요구된다. 둘째, 민영화에 따른 효율제고의 효과를 최대한 얻기 위해서는 완전민영화 이전에라도 산업정책, 규제정책 및 경쟁정책 등을 기업경영과 분리해야 한다. 이를 위하여, 자연독점적 산업에 대한 요금규제를 위해 독립된 규제기관을 설치해야 하고 민영화 대상 공기업의 정부보유주식을 관리하는 공기업지주회사의 설립을 검토할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 주무부처의 부처이기주의를 초월하여 민영화계획을 효과적으로 집행하기 위해서는 강력한 정치적 리더십이 뒷받침되는 범정부적 추진체제를 갖추는 것이 필요하다.
