Study of the Fall Detection System Applying the Parameters Claculated from the 3-axis Acceleration Sensor to Long Short-term Memory (3축 가속 센서의 가공 파라미터를 장단기 메모리에 적용한 낙상감지 시스템 연구)

  • In this paper, we introduce a long short-term memory (LSTM)-based fall detection system using TensorFlow that can detect falls occurring in the elderly in daily living. 3-axis accelerometer data are aggregated for fall detection, and then three types of parameter are calculated. 4 types of activity of daily living (ADL) and 3 types of fall situation patterns are classified. The parameterized data applied to LSTM. Learning proceeds until the Loss value becomes 0.5 or less. The results are calculated for each parameter θ, SVM, and GSVM. The best result was GSVM, which showed Sensitivity 98.75%, Specificity 99.68%, and Accuracy 99.28%.

Classification of walking patterns using acceleration signal (가속도 신호를 이용한 걸음걸이 패턴 분류)

  • This classification of walking patterns is important and many kinds of applications. Therefore, we attempted to classify walking on level ground from slow walking to fast walking using a waist acceleration signal. A tri-axial accelerometer was fixed to the subject's waist and the three acceleration signals were recorded by bluetooth module at a sampling rate of 100 Hz eleven healthy. The data were analyzed using discrete wavelet transform. Walking patterns were classified using two parameters; One was the ratio between the power of wavelet coefficients which were corresponded to locomotion and total power in the anteroposterior direction (RPA). The other was the ratio between root mean square of wavelet coefficients at the anteroposterior direction and that at the vertical direction(RAV). Slow walking could be distinguished by the smallest value in RPA from other walking pattern. Fast walking could be discriminated from level walking using RAV. It was possible to classify the walking pattern using acceleration signal in healthy people.

  • 이 논문에서 포항바사광 가속기의 저장링 자석 격자 구조의 각종 파라미터와 성질들을 제시했다. 충분한 역학적 구경을 가지고 있는 것으로 보여졌으며 각종 자석의 오차에 대해 상대적으로 덜 민감하다고 생각되어진다. 앞으로 이 격자에 대한 빔의 군집효과(collective effects)에 관한 연구가 진행 될 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 가속도 센서에 의해 사고를 검지하고 사고 전후의 영상정보를 저장하는 차량용 사고분석장치를 설계하였으며 이를 위한 사고 분석 시뮬레이터를 윈도우 기반에서 OpenGL 3차원 그래픽 라이브러리를 사용하여 구현하였다. 이는 알고리즘부와 디스플레이부로 구성되며, 알고리즘부에서는 도로 영상에 대한 영상처리를 수행한다. 여기서 개선된 역우너 근법에 의해 전처리된 영상을 필터링하여 차선을 검지하고, 검지된 차선을 이용하여 차선 파라미터들을 추출하며, 디스플레이부에서 추출된 파라미터들을 입력받아서 OpenGL 라이브러리 함수를 사용하여 사고를 3차원으로 재현한다.

  • In modern society, the elderly over 65 years old are increasing due to development of medical technology and improvement of their standard of living. Severe fall of the elderly can lead to death threats. To solve this problem, several algorithms and hardware systems for fall detection have been studied and developed. In this paper, a fall detection system using 3-axial acceleration sensor is presented. In the fall detection system, several types of fall-feature parameters are calculated and then the fall is determined by using them. Using this system, best sensitivity and specificity are 98.3% and 94.7%, respectively.

  • In this paper, we propose an implementation of a neural network accelerator for reducing the rendering noise. Among the rendering algorithms, we selects a ray tracing to assure a high-definition graphics. Ray tracing rendering uses ray to render. Less use of the ray will result in noise, and if used too much, it will produce a higher quality image, but will take longer. In order to quickly process such lace rendering, an algorithm is used that uses less rays and removes the noise generated. Among such algorithms, there is an algorithm using a neural network, and a neural network accelerator which obtains a filter parameter used in an operation is implemented in order to speed up the operation speed. The time it takes to calculate the parameters used for a pixel is 11.44us.

  • A series of experimental tests have been performed on a tube beam in which artificial damage is applied in order to address damage detectability using modal analysis. Modal parameters considered are frequency, displacement mode shape and strain mode shape CoMAC(Coordinate Modal Assurance Criterion) and Modal Vector Error have been adopted for presenting the change of displacement mode shape and strain mode shape. It is revealed strain mode shape is the most sensitive to damage.

  • 본 논문은 3축 가속도 센서를 이용한 낙상 감지 시스템의 3가지 알고리즘을 제안한다. 낙상감지시스템은 3축 가속도 센서 데이터로부터 계산한 낙상 파라미터인 가속도 크기와 각도를 이용한다. 제안한 낙상감지시스템의 성능평가를 위해서 남자 2명과 여자 2명에 대해서 4가지 일상생활과 3가지 낙상상황에서 560개 데이터 값을 얻은 후에 3 가지의 알고리즘을 적용하여 최대 98.33%의 sensitivity와 94.37%의 specificity 결과를 얻었다.

  • This paper proposes an IPSec accelerator performance analysis model based a queue model. It assumes Poison distribution as its input traffic load. The decoding delay is employed as a performance analysis measure. Simulation results based on the proposed model show around 15% differences with respect to actual measurements on field traffic for the BCM5820 accelerator device. The performance analysis model provides with reasonable hardware structure of network servers, and can be used to span design spaces statistically.

  • In this paper, an adaptive control law for nonlinear systems represented by input-output models are proposed under the assumption that unknown system parameters are in a known compact and convex set. Contrary to the previous results, the compact and convex set is not restricted to a ball whose center is at the origin or convex hypercube. It is proven that the proposed parameter update rule produces a sequence of parameters which reside in the set and guarantees that the position, velocity, and acceleration error converges to zero as time goes to infinity. This theoretical result was justified through simulations.
