USN-based Real-Time Monitoring System for a Temporary Structure of Concrete Formwork (콘크리트 거푸집 가설구조물 공사 안전관리를 위한 USN 기반의 실시간 모니터링 시스템)

  • During concrete placement, the formwork structure supports the weight of concrete mass. The complexity of the operation can cause concentrated workloads, which in turn brings about a collapse of the temporary structure. As a countermeasure, the operation needs to be constantly monitored to maintain safety and prevent accidents. This paper presents a USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network)-based safety monitoring system for formwork construction. The system takes advantage of ubiquitous technology in monitoring the behavior of the formwork structure such as deflection, load weight, and tilting. The collected data are sent to the host computer wirelessly for real time monitoring. The data can be then compared with the allowed limits on guidelines. The comparison can indicate whether the concrete placement operation is executed in a safe condition.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze in advance the problems and improvements that may occur during the construction of intermediate slabs and the loading of intermediate slabs through the preliminary structural safety evaluation of intermediate slabs for Test bed structures in deep depth tunnels. The Test bed construction can verify and confirm the results of the design and construction technology development of large depth double deck tunnel through the process, and can also be used as a learning site for engineers and the general public to speed up the time of underground space development. There will be an opportunity to do this. In particular, the design load of middle slab built inside the circular deep-depth double-sided tunnel cross-section varies depending on the construction method and the construction equipment load used. Class 3 truck load of KL-510 assumed to be common load to upper and middle slab during loading and installation is loaded on upper and lower slab with different working position for each load combination Analyzed.

An analytical study on behavior of the girder panel in simplified composite deck under construction loadings (가설하중 하에서 초간편 강합성 바닥판 거더패널의 거동에 관한 해석적 연구)

  • In this study, based on a I-roll embedded steel composite deck, it is suggested a new type of simplified composite deck and analyzed under construction loading. Using ABAQUS, it's estimated effects of welding amount of steel plate and I-section, existence of a hole of I-section's flange, and a location of hole. For a reasonable verification of modeling, compare Euler-Beam theory with F.E.M models. In result, it is verified that change of welding amount increase more maximum bending tension stresses at the central part's section of span when elements are partial-welded. Also, verify that deflection is slightly increased when a hole existed compared with no hole.

  • 현수교는 상당히 오래전부터 가설되어온 교량형식이기 때문에 구조해석이론도 일찍부터 개발되어 왔다. 그러나 외부 하중에 민감한 구조물이어서, 특히 동적인 하중에 대한 정확한 구조해석방법, 내풍설계방법 등은 아직도 연구가 계속되고 있다. 본 고에서는 현수교의 기본 형상을 소개하고 미력하나마 구조해석방법, 내풍설계방법, 설계시 고려해야 할 기본적인 사항들에 대하여 간략히 정리하여 보았다.

  • To determine the initial configuration of the suspension bridge appropriate idealization model and analysis procedure are proposed as considering the boundary and loading conditions of stiffening girder during the erection. The construction stages of a suspension bridge are divided into two steps which are the first stage of the erection and the second stage of the completion in terms of the erection time of stiffening girders, and depending upon such an erection step the initial configuration analysis is classified the first configuration analysis and the revision analysis of the second configuration. The boundary and loading conditions and the analysis procedures for each stage are suggested and the results are verified by comparing with existing data. The results show that the proposed method provides better solution compared to the results using existing method.

  • In rapid cycle construction, RC structure which is not cured fully can be loaded with construction load and this construction load can influence on the safety of construction and cracks on slabs. Therefore, to reduce the term of construction, the safety of construction and prevention of cracks should be assured against construction load. In the previous study, temperature load can significantly influence on the behavior of structure under construction. However, existing construction sequential analysis or design code do not consider temperature load reasonably. In the present study, through construction sequential analysis method using FE analysis, the behavior of structure under construction was analyzed according to temperature changes. According to the results of analysis, as the temperature falls, shoring load drops and the temperature rises, shoring load rises. These variations of shoring load can affect the safety of construction. Moment of slab goes up by fall in temperature. This increase of moment can cause cracks on the slab. Therefore to assure the safety on construction and prevent cracks on slabs, temperature load has to be considered reasonably in construction sequential analysis.

  • As transmission line is installed by manual operation, it is necessary to scheme the automatic system for stringing transmission wire. For this necessity, the objective of this paper is developed automatic control system for a stringing of transmission wire. In this paper, transmission wire with suspended pattern and ac servo motor for torque generating are modeled. On the basis of wire model, algorithms to determine the reference tension is presented, so as the dip of transmission wire is keep constancy. The control scheme is proposed by the ac servo motor for torque generation and a load cell for a detected tension of transmission wire and implemented. We experimentally show that the performance of the tension response is satisfactory. And also proposed scheme verified the utilities for tension control of transmission wire.

  • Concrete placement work is executed using temporary structures such as formwork, support, etc. The temporary structures could collapse when they are not properly supported, and need to be monitored for structural safety. This paper introduces a USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network)-based monitoring system that are being tested at the Pusan National University for increasing structural safety. The system takes advantage of ubiquitous technologies together with a variety of sensors, which allows for wireless transmission of construction monitoring data. The temporary structures are constantly monitored to find out whether the structures are being supported in a stable condition. A field test is being conducted to acquire data, and use them for evaluating the safety condition of the construction operation.

  • 본 논문은 현수형 송전 케이블과 장력발생 교류 서보전동기의 모델을 나타내고 송전케이블의 이도를 일정히 유지하기 위한 장력을 계산하는 알고리즘을 나타내었다. 현수형 송전선 특성에 기초하여 로드셀을 이용한 장력측정에 의해 송전선 가설 시스템의 구성법이 제안되었다. 가설시스템은 장력 발생장치에 교류서보 전동기를 이용하고 케이블의 장력계측 장치는 하중변환기(load cell)를 사용한다.
