A Hypothesis Test Approach to Template Selection for UWB Rake Receivers (가설검증 방식을 통한 UWB Rake 수신기의 기준신호 선택 기법)

  • Many application scenarios of ultra-wideband(UWB) radio assume non-line-of-sigit(non-LoS) signal propagations. Through-material propagation of UWB signal introduces a distortion of the waveform as well as attenuation, which will introduce a decrease of the correlation coefficient between the correlator template and the received signal. A hypothesis test approach to selection of the template waveform for UWB rake receivers is posed. Linde-Buzo-Gray(LBG) algorithm is used to select the candidate waveforms which are used to setup the hypothesis test. The performance of the algorithm is tested using a set of indoor non-LoS propagation measurement data.

Design of Fault Isolator of Satellite Reaction Wheel System Using Dual Filter and Multi-hypothesis Extended Kalman Filter (이중 필터와 다중 가설 확장 칼만 필터를 적용한 인공위성 반작용 휠의 고장 분리기 설계)

  • One reaction wheel cluster of satellite usually has four reaction wheels. Each wheel is not arranged parallel to the attitude axis of satellite. Therefore, if one reaction wheel is broken, it is very hard to isolate the fault except using the sensors of wheel itself. In this paper, the isolator of satellite reaction wheel cluster is designed. Using a dual filter, FDP(Fault Detection Parameter) is made to detect fault, and using a multi-hypothesis extended Kalman filter, fault isolation of wheel cluster is done. We verify the improvement of isolation performance of wheel cluster by simulation with 4-reaction wheel cluster.

Factor Analysis on the Performance of Hospital Customer Relationship Management (HCRM) System (병원고객관계관리시스템의 성과요인 분석)

  • The objective of this paper is to find out the factors for the performance of the Hospital Customer Relationship Management (HCRM) system. Furthermore, the relationships between these factors have been analyzed. In order to analyze the performance of the HCRM system, factor analysis with several Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) was conducted. And also multiple regression analysis and Chi-square test were executed. In this study, several hypotheses were derived to analyze the relationships between factors of performance of HCRM system. These hypotheses were tested by using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). As the result of this study, we discovered the HCRM-Infrastructure has positive effects on the HCRM-Performance. And the HCRM-Performance has also positive influences on the hospital management performance. On the basis of the research result, we proposed some suggestions and guidelines for the successful implementation and improvement of HCRM system.

  • 디자인 패턴은 새롭게 만들어 지는 것이 아니라 기존의 검증된 지식, 관용법, 원칙들을 체계화한 것이다. 다시 말하면 디자인 패턴은 특정한 문제를 해결하기 위한, 검증된 설계 방법에 이름을 붙인 것이다. 그러므로 적절한 디자인 패턴 사용은 1) 개발자들간의 원활한 의사소통에 도움을 주며, 2) 하급자가 고급기술을 쉽게 익힐 수 있도록 할 수 있다. 3) 또한 사용된 디자인이나 아키텍처를 재사용할 수 있도록 하고, 4) 만들어진 시스템의 유지 보수를 보다 쉽게 할 수 있는 등의 장점을 얻을 수 있다. 반면에 필요하지 않은 곳에 까지 디자인패턴을 사용하게 되면 소프트웨어를 복잡하고, 유지보수도 어렵게 만들 수 있다. 디자인 패턴의 분류는 수 많은 패턴을 비슷한 속성을 지닌 그룹들로 조직화 하는 것이다. 이는 개발자가 특정 문제에 맞는 디자인 패턴을 쉽게 선택 할 수 있도록 도와 줄 뿐만 아니라, 디자인 패턴의 주요특성을 빠르게 이해하고 간파 할 수 있게 한다. 그래서 Beck 이 디자인패턴을 소개한 이후 GoF, Buschmann, Grand, Antoy 등은 디자인 패턴을 단순히 열거를 통해 소개하지 않고, 각자의 기준에 따라 체계적으로 분류하여 패턴을 설명 하고 있다. 본 연구는 객체지향 설계의 근본 개념인 Polymorphism (Inclusion Polymorphism) 과 '객체 지향 소프트웨어 설계 원칙' 그리고 이 근본 원칙들이 UML 클래스 다이어그램에 나타나는 구조적 특정에 의거해 디자인 패 턴 해석을 수행 하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 1) 객체지향의 근본 원칙으로 표현 되는 패턴과 2) 설계자의 전문적 인 Art를 포함하고 있는 패턴으로 분류하는데 있다.3: 재미는 용이성을 통해 채택의도에 정의 영향을 미친다. 가설4: 유용성은 채택의도에 정의 영향을 미친다. 가설5: 용이성은 채택의도에 정의 영향을 미친다. 가설6: 용이성은 유용성에 정의 영향을 미친다. 본 연구의 대상은 자발적으로 이러닝을 채택할 수 있는 대학생을 대상으로 하였고, 설문 데이터 분석을 통한 실증연구를 수행하였다. 분석방법으로는 PLS 분석도구를 사용하였다. 분석결과 가설6을 제외하고는 모두 유용한 것으로 입증되었다.97)은 배움의 용이성, 기억의 용이성, 오류, 효율성, 만족성으로 분류하고 있고(Nielsen, 1997), Shneiderman(1998)는 효과성(직무시간, 배움의 시간), 효율성(기억의 지속시간, 오류), 만족도를 품질의 특성으로 분류하였다. 이와 같은 소프트웨어의 품질은 소프트웨어 계획, 개발, 성장과 쇠퇴의 모든 과정에 적용되며, 환경적 변화에 따라 사용자들의 정보욕구를 적절하게 반영하여 만족도를 높이 는 것이라고 요약할 수 있다. 그러나 현재까지 소프트웨어 품질 평가에 대한 연구들 은 보편적인 평가 항목들을 대상으로 측정하여 일반적인 품질기준을 제시하고 있고, 유사한 측정 내용들이 중복되어 있다. 이러한 경향은 산업별 특수성이 강한 소프트웨어에 대해서는 정확한 품질측정이 어려웠고, 품질측정에 대한 신뢰성을 떨어뜨리는 계기가 되었다. 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 나타난 방법론이 최종사용자들의 요구사항을 얼마나 적절하게 시스템에 반영했는지에 대한 사용성(Usability) 측정이다. 사용성에 대한 정의는 사용자들이 실질적으로 일하는 장소에서 직접 사용자들의 시스템 운용실태를 파악하여 문제점을 개선하는 것으로 요약할 수 있다. An Empirical Study on the Structural Relationship between Transactive Memory System, Knowledge Sharing and Innovation Capability: Evidence from Universities in China (분산기억체계, 지식공유, 그리고 혁신역량의 구조적 관계에 관한 실증연구: 중국 대학 사례를 중심으로)

  • Purpose The innovation capability nowadays has become increasingly prominent in the universities not only for schools but also for teachers. However, due to less attention to the knowledge utilization and management, also some objective constraints, which caused the low level of the innovation capacity for our universities teachers under the current development in China. Meanwhile, transactive memory system (TMS) and knowledge sharing are important contents in knowledge management. The combination of both systems will contribute to a much more comprehensive understanding and performance of knowledge management. The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationships between TMS, knowledge sharing, and innovation capability among Chinese university teachers' teams, and to propose the practical implication to integrate effectively internal knowledge of the team to improve innovation capability. Design/methodology/approach In order to exam and verify the hypothesis proposed, we developed a questionnaire with 16 survey items, and each item comes with a five-point Likert-type scale. Hyperlink of online questionnaire was shared through WeChat. It's collected 201 responses from 14 universities in China, and the responders are teaching groups' leaders. And all together 191 responses were filtered out as the valid samples. And we analyze the data set and test research hypotheses by using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. Findings All hypotheses are supported. The results reveal that knowledge sharing plays an important role in this study as the mediating role. TMS is positively associated with the innovation capability. And the knowledge sharing plays a significant role as mediating value between them, and influences the TMS's effect on innovation capability. It's thus cleared that if our teachers could well communicate, exchange and collaborate with other teachers in the same group, the innovation capability among the teachers would be improved effectively.

Influencing Factors on the Lending Intention of Online Peer-to-Peer Lending: Lessons from Renrendai.com (온라인 P2P 대출의도의 영향요인에 관한 연구: 런런다이 사례를 중심으로)

  • Purpose Online Peer-to-peer lending (hereafter P2P lending), is a new method of lending money to unrelated individuals through an online financial intermediary. Usually in the online P2P transaction, individuals who would like to borrow money (hereafter borrowers) and those who would like to lend money (hereafter lenders) have no previous relationship. Based on enormous previous studies, this study develops an integrated model, particularly for the online P2P lending environment in China, to better understand the critical factors that influence lenders' intention to lend money through the online P2P lending platform. Design/methodology/approach In order to verify the hypotheses, we develop a questionnaire with 42 survey items. We measured all the items on a five-point Likert-type scale. We use Sojump.com to collect questionnaire and gather 246 valid responses from registered members of Renrendai.com. We analyzed the main survey data by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 20.0. We first estimated the reliability, validity, composite reliability and AVE and then conduct common method bias test. The mediating role of trust in platform and in borrower has been tested. Last we tested the hypotheses through the structural model. Findings The results reveal that service quality, information quality, structural assurance, awareness and reputation significantly impact lenders' trust in the online P2P lending platform. Second, awareness, reputation and perceived risk significantly impact lenders' trust in borrower and lending intention. Third, trust propensity has a positive effect on lenders' trust on borrower. Last, awareness, reputation, perceived risk, platform trust and borrower trust can directly impact lenders' lending intention.

  • As the amount of information generated in the construction project increases exponentially, design and construction review have a serious impact on the success of the site. For this reason, academic and business circles have been expanding the use of BIM at the whole life, and BIM is now accepted as one of the standards used in the construction industry. However, the BIM-based design for the temporary work is used as an aid to the 2D design because there is no specialized software and there is absolutely lack of a professional engineer. The objective of this research is to develop BIM-based temporary work support system. This system minimizes human errors in BIM-based design, quantity takeoff and inspection and shortens working hours.

  • In recent years, many construction projects become large and complicated, and construction accidents also steadily increase, which grows interest in the safety and maintenance during construction. Many of the construction accidents are related to temporary construction and structures, but the safety evaluation and management during construction are unclear and indefinite due to the short operating period and continuous change in the formation of the temporary structure. The system support, which is one of the temporary structures to support the pouring load of concrete, was proposed to easily install and dismantle members with connection parts pre-manufactured. The use of the system support is increasing to improve the safety of the temporary structure during construction. However, the system support, which consists of multiple members, still has uncertainties in connectivity between members and supports of vertical members. Therefore, this study analyzed the structure, load, and accident cases of the system support to define the damage scenarios for member connection, support condition, and lateral displacement. The decrease rate of the critical load was analyzed according to the damage scenarios based on the defined unit structure of the system support. In addition, this study provided vulnerable members for each damage scenario, which could induce instability of the temporary structures during design, construction, and operation of the structure.

Analysis Effects for Cyber Group Consultation Using Video Based System (화상교육 시스템을 이용한 사이버 집단 상담의 효과 분석)

  • In this paper, we carry out a cyber group consultation by means of the video-based education system, and verify the effects. For the verification of this study, two assumptions were set up. These assumptions were inspected by selecting 45 students of D elementary school located in a big city, and coming up with a test utilizing one of video-based education systems. Following up, a self-respect test form and a questionnaire were made to verify of the group consultation to the video-based education system, and by analyzing the test form and the questionnaire, the conclusion of this study was finally drawn. The conclusion gained through the process adove is as follows: It turned out that real-time video-based cyber group consultation promoted self-respect and enthusiastic participation of consulters as well as formed emotinal stability and a close affinity between the consultant and the consulter through active interaction. The results of this video-based education system operation will be helpful to broaden the area of elementary school cyber group consultation. Further, it is thought that it will contribute to the basic investigation to verify the educational effects of Multi-point imaging system in the run-up to the operation of full-scale real-time video-based education systems.

  • This study has made an in-depth analysis of the 'Puzzle System' which is a characteristic structural unit of the Adventure Game, and concentrates on the mechanism where the experience arouses in the player a 'desire (quasi-need) to finish' that leads to one's immersion and engagement in the game. In the course of conducting this study, documentary records were consulted and also this writer personally played video games to learn the component elements and fundamental characteristics of the Adventure Games and to experience how the player was immersed in the game. Thus, the Puzzle System in the Adventure Game was defined and an analysis was made of the structure and course of play where the puzzle part and the narrative part within the system organically interacted between them in the system. In order to confirm the formation and effects of 'desire to finish' shown in the hypothetic assumptions, two experiment-purpose game units were produced, one with dramatic cut scenes and the other without them, so that differences between them could be found. I also conducted an experiment to learn the generation and effect of the 'desire to finish' of the Puzzle elements by using different games with a varying degree of difficulty.
