A Wind Turbine Simulator for Doubly-Fed Induction-type Generator with Automatic Operation Mode Change during Wind Speed Variation (가변 풍속시 운전모드 절환을 고려한 이중여자 유도형 풍력발전기의 시뮬레이터)

  • Controller for doubly-fed induction-type wind generation system should be designed with mechanical power on blade. The controller in this paper consists of upper level controller and lower level controller. The upper level controller determines operating modes according to mechanical input power and calculates proper reference values. There are 4 operating modes - minimum speed control, variable torque control, torque limit control and idle mode. The lower level controller performs current regulated PWM control of rotor-side converter and grid-side inverter. A wind turbine simulator is implemented using doubly-fed induction-type generator and DSP based back-to-back converter to verify the performance of designed controller experimentally.

  • A smart phone subscriber needs wide bandwidth services for more fast data communication on the internet. The conventional MIMO system is now developing to resolve these problems with limited device space for antenna and frequency band environment reserved. One of way to make it practically is to add the number of antennas theoretically. But it is difficult to increase the antenna element as a limited space on the system. Therefore an active beam forming scheme is known as a way of constructing a Compact MIMO system for that. In this paper, the fast switching control block was suggested to adjust a reactance of the antenna element and verified experimentally the effects by switching signal on an orthogonal beam forming through a spatial domain.

  • In this paper, we propose a method about the extraction of vehicle and tracking trajectory for moving vehicle tracking system in road. This system applied to the monitoring system of the traffic flow for ATMS(advanced traffic management system) of ITS(intelligent transport system). Also, this system can solve the problem of maintenance of loop sensor. And we detected vehicle using differential image analysis. Because of the road environment changes by real time. Therefore, the method to use background image is not suitable. And we used Kalman filter and innovation value and variable search area for vehicle tracking system. Previous method using fixed search area is sensitive to the moving trajectory and the speed of vehicle. Simulation results show that proposed method increases the possibility of traffic measurement more than fixed area traffic measurement system.

  • Recently, from a global perspective, the use of small unmanned aerial vehicles in terrorism and warfare is increasing, and the need for anti-drone shooting training targeting small UAVs is increasing. However, in reality, there are many cases in Korea where anti-drone shooting training is restricted, due to complaints such as noise. In this paper, we describe the development and testing of an electric-powered direct strike type high-speed, low-noise small aerial target drone. To achieve the flight speed and endurance required for shooting training, target drone sizing was performed, and aerodynamic performance analysis was conducted using a CFD program. Based on the performance analysis, the motor propulsion system was selected and a variable pitch propeller system was designed, and performance tests were performed on a ground test rig. Finally, the target flight speed, flight time, and flight noise level were confirmed through flight tests.

  • In case of field weakening region, torque is directly affected by flux. In this region, the flux reference is cIecreased inversely proportional to the rotor speed. As the flux is decreased, the magnetizing inductance is nonnally increased The increased magnetizing inductance limited voltage for controlling current In this paper, rreasuring q axis voltage in field weakening region, magnetizing inductance in flux calculating can be readjusted. Computer simulation and experiment results demostrate the efficacy of the prqx>sed rrethod. Proposed algorithm is expected to the application of the adjustable drive system in the spinning and weaving field. field.

  • 광간섭계는 물체의 기하학적 구조 및 의료영상계측등 다양한 분야의 광계측에서 매우 일반적으로 사용된다. 이러한 광간섭계에서 광지연단은 측정대상의 기준을 위해 사용되고, 광간섭계의 계측속도는 광지연단에 의해 제한된다. 본 논문에서는 고속 광 지연단을 위해 기존의 기계적 방식을 배제하고, 광학적 방식의 광 간섭계를 구성하였다. 고속 광간섭계의 구성은 1304nm의 10GHz광원을 이용하였으며, 광지연단으로 광위상변조기와 광섬유를 이용하여 안정적이고 고속의 광 간섭계를 구성하였다. 구성된 광간섭계는 광위상변조기의 변조전압, 변조주파수에 의해 광지연시간을 가변할 수 있으며, 10MHz 반복율에 대해 11ps의 광지연시간을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • 급변하는 전압 변동 상황에서 전력 제어를 수행하기 위해서 기존의 동기좌표 위상각 검출 제어기의 특성을 보완할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 실질적인 SRF (Synchronous Reference Frame) - PLL(Phase Locked Loop) 시스템에서 계통 전압은 이상적이지 않고 센서 노이즈 등의 저감을 위하여 측정된 전압에 LPF(Low Pass Filter)를 사용하고 있는데 이러한 LPF의 특성을 고려하여 위상각 제어기의 PI게인을 설정하는 방법을 제시하였으며 가변 게인과 LPF 차단주파수 변동방식을 이용하여 전원 전압 사고의 종류에 따라 위상과 전압이 급변하는 경우에 대하여 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 제한된 방법으로 동특성이 개선되고 원하는 응답속도로 설계가 가능함을 보였다.

  • An interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) has been applied to the electric vehicle due to its high efficiency, compact volume, and wide operating speed ranges. This paper presents the analysis of the flux weakening operating regions at high speeds for the IPMSM that has back emf harmonics. The effect of the back emf harmonics on the motor speed and the maximum torque is analyzed. Also the dq currents for maximum torque operation under the voltage and the current limit conditions are analyzed. The conventional analysis and the presented analysis for the flux weakening operating regions are compared and the maximum torque - speeds characteristics for both analysis are verified through the experiment.

  • Provision of advanced warning information is one of the useful countermeasures to prevent traffic accidents. Analysis of user's preference for any information contents would be a backbone in designing more effective warning information systems. This study aimed at deriving more comprehensive and valuable warning information that leads to user's safer driving by conducting a questionnaire survey. In total, 258 people including various age groups and driving experiences participated in the survey. Preferable warning information contents were identified by this study. It is expected that the results would be useful data for providing warning information to drivers.

  • The balise is a device for the railroad signal control systems, which is installed between both rail. The balise sends fixed or variable data, named telegram, to the train with wireless method. The telegram includes the position information, the movable distance under the signal status, the gradient, the speed, the temporary speed limit, etc. This research is on a design of the DBPL encoder for the balise. Normally the DBPL encoder for the balise is with the ASIC or FPGA technology. In this research, the DBPL encoder is designed with commercial low power operable micro-controller. The firmware(logic level encode) and the SPI Bus function block(physical level output) of the micro-controller are used for the DBPL encode. Under the european standard, the required working speed of the DBPL encoder is 564.48Kbps. The DBPL encoder of this research is tested under the speed of 564.48Kbps, and it worked properly.
