한(韓)브랜드 가구 디자인 개발을 위한 조사 연구 - 거실가구를 대상으로 - (A Study for the Development of Korean Brand Furniture Design - Focused on Livingroom Furniture -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the preference of living room furniture and to suggest Korean brand furniture design guideline. Subjects consisted of 171 residents aged up 20 years old in Seoul and Kyung-ki. area. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package. The results of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test and $x^2$-test are presented. The result of this study showed as fallows; 1) Livingroom funiture design with considering family life behavior were needed. 2) Modernizing traditional elements(motives and pattern) were preferred to duplicating traditional elements. 3) In furniture materials, easy to maintaining and cleaning and environmentally-sound materials as solid wood were highly appraised. Also, functional and harmonious furniture design with interior or other furniture were needed. So, modular-system furniture for livingroom would fulfill user's needs which are function, harmony and conciseness. 4) Elegant, easy, unique, functional, and simple design for livingroom were highly appraised. Considering these results, it is necessary to develop more on the modernized traditional furniture based on the various needs of users. These results provide a practical guideline for the development of the Korean brand design for livingroom furniture design.

옻칠가구 디자인 개발을 위한 감성공학적 연구 (A Study to Sensibility Technology for the Development of the Traditional Lacquered Furniture Design)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the preference of traditional lacquered furniture and to suggest furniture design guideline. Subjects consisted of 336 residents aged up 20 years old in Seoul and Kyung-ki. area. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package. The results of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test and ANOVA are presented. The result of this study showed that the traditional and environmental values of the traditional lacquered furniture were highly appraised. With a furniture plan, modernized and stylelike design was desired and the table type furniture were wanted. And preference of traditional lacquered furniture was distinct by sex and age groups. Women and older age group wanted more decorative and luxury design than other groups. These results provide a practical guideline for the development of the traditional lacquered furniture design for users.

20세기 스웨덴 현대 가구디자인의 특성 - 스웨덴의 대표적인 8인 가구디자이너의 작품을 중심으로 - (Characteristic of Swedish Modern Furniture Design in the 20th Century - In Reference to Works by 8 Prominent Furniture Designers in Sweden -)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify characteristic of Swedish modern furniture design through design works made by 8 prominent Swedish furniture designers during the 20th century. The study was completed through literature reviews and searching for web-sites of Swedish distinguished furniture companies. 8 furniture designers, eg. Erik Gunnar Asprund, Carl Malmsten, Josef Frank, John Kandell, Mats Theselius, Bruno Mathsson, $\AA$ke Axelsson and Yngve Extr$\ddot{o}$m were selected to identify the characteristics of Swedish modern furniture design. The results are as follows: 1) they pursuit simple and functional design beyond time. 2) they pursuit functionalism modified with Swedish traditional craftsmanship. 3) natural wood is considered as the most beloved material for the furniture together with other natural materials such as hemp, leather and cane. 5) easy maintenance and durability of the furniture are considered as important factors to make it last long. 6) ecological concept is fulfilled to meet environmental legislation.

소셜 네트워크 분석 방법론을 활용한 1인 주거공간디자인 융합콘텐츠 상관관계 분석 (A Study on Correlation Analysis of One-Person Housing Space Design Convergence Contents by Using Social Network Analysis)

  • 우리나라의 가구구조는 앞으로 1인 가구가 가장 보편적인 가구 유형이 될 것으로 예측되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 급격히 늘어난 1인 가구 주거자의 삶을 총체적으로 고려한 1인 주거 공간을 디자인하기 위한 콘텐츠를 도출하기 위해, 1인 가구 주거를 형성하는 사회·경제·문화적 영향요인 등을 빅데이터 분석을 통해 객관적으로 도출하고, 콘텐츠 간의 상관관계를 소셜 네트워크 분석 방법론을 활용하여 다각적으로 분석하였다. 빅 데이터 분석 방법론을 적용해 1인 주거공간과 관련된 총 60개의 핵심 콘텐츠를 도출하였으며, 소셜네트워크 분석을 통해 가장 영향력이 큰 콘텐츠는 공간의 편집, 공간 구성 카테고리로 도출되었다. 이는 주거공간은 사용자의 삶의 변화에 따라 탄력적으로 대응할 수 있는 디자인 아이디어가 중요한 부분을 차지한다고 볼 수 있다. 앞으로 더욱 구체화된 1인 주거 공간의 컨셉 및 디자인방법론에 대한 연구를 진행하고자 한다.

덴마크 민속 수납가구의 디자인과 장식 -채색장식기법을 중심으로- (The Design and Decoration of Danish Folk Storage Furniture -In Reference to painting Decoration-)

  • This study aimed to identify characteristics of design and decoration of Danish peasant furniture especially painted storage furniture used during the 18-19th century before modern design movement of Internationalism prevailed all over the world. Owing to the fact that Danish peasant furniture were made of available conifer around the farms painting method was preferred to carving. Remoted from main land of western and southern Europe Scandinavian countries longed to imitate their Baroque style architecture and furniture made of marble of hard woods. Painting method was adopted to disguise cheap wood so that it looked like expensive or exotic materials such as marble oak metal granite etc. what they could not afford to buy. Eventually they evolved unique materials equipments and methods for imitation painting in order to decorate folk storage furnitures as well as formal architecture : palaces churches and other official buildings,. Marbling clouds marbling graining stencil spatter painting trompe-I'oeil were common to imitate stones or hard woods. Strong and bright colors had good combination together with dull colors on the Danish peasant painted furniture.

  • 현대사회 속에서 주류로 부상한 1인가구를 위한 맞춤형 가구에 관해 디자인하고자 한다. 특히 삶의 질을 높이려는 세대의 경향에 주목하여 아트퍼니처에 가까운 심미적인 가구들을 디자인하고자 했으며 이를 위해 현재 발표되고 있는 국내외의 아트퍼니처를 살피고 그 경향들을 토대로 조합형 커스텀디자인이라는 개념을 제시하고자 한다. 조합형 커스텀 디자인은 기존의 것과는 달리 파츠별로 구분하여 독립된 디자인을 만들고 이를 융합함으로서 보다 다양하면서도 적극적인 조형을 가능하게 하는 것으로 삶의 질에 많은 관심을 보이는 1인가구들의 능동적인 성향과 궤적을 같이 하며 특히나 다품종 소량생산에 적합하기에 기존의 공예공방 체계 속에서 생산이 가능할 것이며 실제 조합형 커스텀 디자인을 통한 두 개의 테이블을 통해 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

팝 디자인 양식에서 가구디자인과 실내디자인의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Furniture Design and Interior Design in Pop Design)

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis the influence in furniture and interior design of pop design. Pop design is a trend which was in fashion for a short time between 1950s and 1960s. It is an experimental transient form in a flow of postmodernism. Through such a trend, we can analogize an idea and values of people speaking for a rapid change of society and culture chat that time. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to examine what environment of society and culture and what idea had an effect on people at that time. Also, the study will examine how the above had an effect on interior design and furniture design. Considering the above results, the study will examine an influence and meaning of pop design in design history. According to the result of analysis, characteristic of pop design is anti-modern, expendability, future mood.

국내 대학의 가구디자인교육과 산학협동에 관한 연구 (A Study on The furniture Design Education and Industrial Educational Cooperation)

  • 다변화된 세계정세와 글로벌 경쟁시대에서 <産>과 <學> 모두는 새로운 패러다임을 인식하고 이에 대처해야 할 입장에 있다. 특히 가구분야에 있어서 기업은 전략적 차원에서 디자인을 적극 수용하여 경쟁력을 강화해야할 것이며, 대학을 중심으로 한 교육기관에서는 우수한 디자이너들을 배출하여 가구산업발전에 이바지해야 할 것이다. 이를 위해서는 <産>과<學>이 서로의 인적.물적자원을 교류하고 지원협조하는 <산학협동>의 활성화가 절대 필요하다. 생산이 안된 디자인이나 디자인 없는 생산제품이란 존재할 수 없다는 관점에서 볼 때 더욱 절실한 문제이다. 교육은 대학이, 생산은 기업이 맡는다는 편협한 사고에서 벗어나 유기적인 협조체제를 구축하여 새로운 시대를 맞이하고자 하는 공동인식이 요구된다.
