This study examines the compensation scheme for the executives and risk-taking behavior in the Korean banks. Theoretically, shareholders prefer risky asset choice to the optimal one due to the limited liability feature of reward, and stock-based executive compensation may induce choices favorable to the shareholder. We empirically test this risk-taking hypothesis using Korean banks' data. Since only the stock option data is available under the current disclosure system, we limit our analysis to examine the relationship between the compensation through stock option and the risk of banks. The result provides no evidence that stock option compensations increase the risk of banks, which is contrary to the theoretical prediction and preceding studies in the US. This may be due to any factor that the executive reward data omit, or regulation effects on the bank management.

This study empirically investigates how the switching barriers influence the consumer's perceived intention to change his or her current favorite internet shopping mall. Drawing from switching cost theory, variables pertaining to trust, shopping mall service quality, product price, web page quality, switching barriers were examined to examine the consumer's behavioral intention to switch to another shopping mall. The interaction effect of consumer involvement was also included in the research model. The results of the study report that customer satisfaction and switching cost influence shopping switching intention, while the effect of attractiveness of the shopping mall was not significant in the statistical analysis. Furthermore, a moderating effect of consumer involvement was not found significant in the PLS analysis. The study demonstrates the shopping mall owners try to increase the customer's overall satisfaction and raise the switching barrier by providing mileage advantages, for instance.

With the rapid advance of internet service and the corresponding migration of service environment from the text-based one to WWW (World Wide Web) environment, the number of internet users is growing rapidly due to its easy usage. Accordingly, usage of internet as services for sending electronic mails to the other patry over the network is becoming increasingly prevalent. Web-based electronic mailing system is comprised of a server and a client The former provides the users with e-mail accounts and services, while the latter serves as a user interface. In other words, it enales those public users who dos not own e-mail accounts on the existing mail server to have an access to hte mailing service through the web. In this paper, we designed a effective web-based electronic mailing system which is based on the internet explorer and linux operating system, which overcomes limitations of the existing e-mail systes and this facilitates the development of a stable e-mail system by being able to avoiding the low system performance due to the bursty characteristics of e-mail messages and the increasing number of users.

In recent years, there has been more reconstruction and redevelopment of apartments rather than efforts to consider alternative to extend the life time of the apartments. It is essential to try to develop ways to adequately maintain and to use the apartment facilities efficiently in order to preserve earth environment and the limited resource. However, tacking research on the effects obtained through remodelling and maintenance have interfered with the vitalizing of the market. The objective of this study is to propose criterions and methods with which to evaluate adequacy of maintenance management. A survey was performed to investigate important maintenance methods in order to obtain advices that can smoothly progress improve apartment maintenance management. This study applied AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process) methods for reasonable maintenance in apartment. Through this study, the flow of apartment maintenance market is elevated to reaching the level in advanced nation.

This paper is RFID cognition system that use PDA in Ubiquitous environment to apply to Logistics system. RFID cognition system processes input/output of fundamental information attaching tag to Logistics of products. And RFID cognition system supports quick and correct and safe synthetic Logistics managerial system through construction of database. This can prove minimization and customer service of Logistics expense. RFID cognition system is advantage that can widen range of application to area that cognition system of existent fixing style can not do. Also, It can expect economical effect through inexpensive system construction.

This study constructs an energy-extended KLEM DB of 35 Korean industries, and estimates the elasticities of substitution under various nesting structures of production technologies. Unlike most existing studies that employed only three inputs, K, L, and E, we applied a dual approach where non-energy intermediate input M is also incorporated as a production input. Our dual approach which extended that of van der Werf (2008)'s 3-input model successfully identified and estimated the multi-nested production functions. We provide the estimates of the elasticities of substitution among 4 different energy sources as well. Our estimation results would be used for energy-environment model building for Korea.

The environment of electrical power industry is now faced on problems such as electric rates, an increasing sensitivity in society with environmental issues and energy factors. Up to now, reliability is greatly influenced by maintenance and environmental factors that are unique to the electric utilities. The reliability is a characteristic assigned to the electric power systems's function which is related to the concept of installment of equipment. Therefore this reports's key finding is that it is important that the utilities track their individual components' value over investment expense of their installed components. This can be accomplished to consider the cases of foreign electric power companies and take into account the various possible installment ways of equipment in Korea. These results are expected to be used as a reference material for design underground distribution facilities and future applications.

The purpose of this work is to manufacture of high efficiency water-treatment filter that is equal to imported products or even higher in terms of quality and even develop the manufacturing process. The filtration efficiency of the developed filter was 93~99%, which was better or similar to that of domestic filter (82~97.5%) and Japanese filter (92.5~98%). The pressure loss(durability) along with the amount of contaminant particles was significantly smaller than that of domestic products, and showed $0.1kg_f/cm^2$ less than that of Japanese products. In addition, at the cost side of production, the developed cartridge filter can be produced with 50% of the current price compared to that of Japanese products. Therefore, it is possible to replace the imported Japanese products as well as domestic products.

Recent promising technologies of the manufacturing sector interest, and the interest in 3D printing that is expected to cause a huge ripple effect rapidly, and various types of products advertised in accordance with the falling price of 3D printers is spreading. However, the personal 3D printers that are currently being advertised is used for Injection output of the simple type that does not require a high processing precision in accordance with the limitation of technical performance, and consumer satisfaction is very low. In this paper, we propose a 3D printer, 3D precision to overcome existing limitations in the way the printer's high SLA 3D printer that combines injection method and the LSU (Laser Scanning Unit) in the office laser printer polygon mirror scanning method. 3D printers which are proposed to improve the accuracy and manufacturing speed is expected to replace the existing entry-level 3D printer.

올해 국내 실물경기는 수출 증가세가 점차 둔화되고, 내수도 소비의 둔화와 투자의 감소 전환 등의 영 향으로 완연한 하락세를 보였다. 내수는 설비투자와 건설투자가 크게 감소하면서 급속한 조정 양상을 보이고 있으며, 소비도 연 2%대 증가율로 떨어지면서 둔화세를 기록하고 있다. 수출은 물량의 증가세가 유지되고 있으나, 단가는 기저효과로 인한 유가상승 폭의 축소 등의 영향으로 상승률이 떨어지면서 증가세가 둔화되었다. 2019년 세계경제는 선진권의 경기둔화와 개도권의 성장률 정체가 예상되는 가운데 하방 리스크 요인으로 인해 제한적 성장이 예상된다. 선진권은 미국경제의 성장률 하락이 예상되는 한편, 일본과 유로권도 전년보다는 약간 낮은 성장률이, 중국은 연 6%대 초반까지 성장률 하락이 예상된다. 국제유가는 글로벌 경기 둔화에 따른 원유의 수요 감소와 미 달러화의 가치 상승 등 금융 요인이 하방 압력으로 작용하나, OPEC의 감산 지속과 지정학적 불안정성이 상승 요인으로 작용하면서 연평균 보합이 예상된다. 환율은 미 달러화의 강세기조가 2019년 상반기까지 이어질 것으로 예상되지만, 하반기에는 유럽 등지의 통화긴축 전환과 미국경기 둔화 등의 영향으로 달러화가 약세로 전환하면서 연평균 기준 소폭 상승할 것으로 기대된다. 2019년 국내경제는 수출과 투자가 글로벌 경기 둔화 등의 영향으로 소폭 증가에 그치고, 소비가 전년대비 둔화세를 보이면서 2018년보다 약간 낮은 2.6%의 성장률이 예상된다. 소비는 실질소득 감소와 고용 부진 등이 예상되고, 대외 불확실성으로 인한 체감경기 약화로 증가세가 둔화되나, 보건 복지 고용의 지출 확대, 유류세 인하 등 정부 정책은 실질구매력 제고에 긍정적 요인으로 작용할 전망이다. 설비투자는 대외 불확실성과 대내 구조적 취약성 등의 영향으로 인해 제한적인 증가세가 예상되며, 건설투자도 정부의 부동산시장 안정화 대책과 SOC예산 감축 등의 영향으로 감소세가 이어질 전망이다. 수출은 세계경기의 성장세 둔화로 인해 수출물량이 소폭 증가에 그치고, 반도체의 가격 하락과 국제유가의 횡보 전망 등으로 수출단가도 하락 압력이 커지면서 2018년 보다 낮은 3.7%의 증가율이 예상된다.
