  • It seems that there has been a tendency of faction film which reveals imagination of state/nation. As typical examples, & would show the relationship between some factional imagination and the project of blockbuster. In this regard, I've researched the tradition of cinematic representation of state/nation and some historical aspects which reveal the being of official films ruled by oppressive political intention. As a kind of discourse dealing with state/nation, & have specific strategy of representation. The analysis about that process might enable us to understand what is nationalism and what is the nature of ideological discourse consumed by faction-related products.

  • Here, we investigated fungal microbiota in the understory root layer of representative well-conserved geographically segregated natural wetlands in the Korean Peninsula. We obtained 574,143 quality fungal sequences in total from soil samples in three wetlands, which were classified into 563 operational taxonomic units (OTU), 5 phyla, 84 genera. Soil texture, total nitrogen, organic carbon, pH, and electrical conductivity of soil were variable between geographical sites. We found significant differences in fungal phyla distribution and ratio, as well as genera variation and richness between the wetlands. Diversity was greater in the Jangdo islands wetland than in the other sites (Chao richness/Shannon/Simpson's for wetland of the Jangdo islands: 283/6.45/0.97 > wetland of the Mt. Gariwang primeval forest: 169/1.17/0.22 > wetland of the Hanbando geology: 145/4.85/0.91), and this variance corresponded to the confirmed number of fungal genera or OTUs (wetlands of Jangdo islands: 42/283> of Mt. Gariwang primeval forest: 32/169> of the Hanbando geology: 25/145). To assess the uniqueness of the understory root layer fungus taxa, we analyzed fungal genera distribution. We found that the percentage of fungal genera common to two or three wetland sites was relatively low at 32.3%, while fungal genera unique to each wetland site was 67.7% of the total number of identified fungal species. The Jangdo island wetland had higher fungal diversity than did the other sites and showed the highest level of uniqueness among fungal genera (Is. Jangdo wetland: 34.5% > wetland of Mt. Gariwang primeval forest: 28.6% > wetland of the Hanbando geology: 16.7%).

  • This study inferred the ecology of habitat use of the wild boars (Sus scrofa) in Yeongwol Hanbando wetland through DNA analysis using non-invasive samples of hairs. From November 2018 to May 2019, hair samples were collected from rubbing trees and hairtraps within the Hanbando wetland (2.772 ㎢). We extracted DNA from the hair samples and conducted PCR to verify the species and identify sex of the individuals. In addition we analysed 6 microsatellite markers to identify individuals and genetic relationship among the pairs of individuals. A total of 16 boar hairs were sampled, which turned out to be from 10 individual (7 females and 3 males) boars. We found that 9 pairs, out of 45 possible pairs, were most likely to be relatives. The result from kinship data and the location of the sampled hairs suggest that wild boars in this area live as family groups that consist of a mother and her offspring, which is consistent with known habits of wild boars. It is needed to include more samples and microsatellite markers for better precise estimation of kinship among the boar individuals.

  • We report a novel HPLC method for analyzing the capsaicinoids and nonivamide. The following conditions were used: a total column and column temperature of $3^{\circ}C$, a detection wavelength of 280 nm, an eluent containing acetonitrile : 0.5% formic acid(31:69, v/v). The experimental data was compared with standard nonivamide and capsaicin. The results showed that nonivamide was eluted in 96.7 minutes with a recovery ratio of 96.5% after adding known nonivamide. In addition, the detection limit for nonivamide was 18.6 ng. The capsaicinoids from Korean pepper were extracted (after blooming 60th) from 3 breeds cultivated in Korea, Buchon, Chungyang and Hanbando. and crisis it analyzed sympathizes the nonivamide in the result nonivamide from the Buchon and the Chungyang which are not detected from the Hanbando $0.16{\sim}0.24{\mu}g/g$ it detects with very small amount it contains it confirmed the each capsaicinoid with the HPLC and the LC-MS. These results are expected contribute to the quality control of various product processes, which includes product delivery inspection as well as examining the capsaicinoids present in the product for possible medicine manufacture and various foodstuff, and the nonivamide content, which may be a feed for various manufacturing processes involving chemical synthesis.

  • Analysis of the fish community in Yeongwol Hanbando wetland in Korea was investigated from April to October 2012. During the survey period, total 33 species belonged to 10 families and 7,107 individuals. There were 18 Korean endemic species (52.94 %), including to Acheilognathus signifer. Also, the dominant species were Zacco koreanus at St. 1, 2, 3 & 5, as well Acheilognathus signifer at St. 6, and Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus at St. 7, respectively, and these species were inhabited in the midstream. But at St. 4, Carassius auratus was dominance, so there appeared to characteristics of downstream or lentic habitat. Also, according to the similarity analysis on fish species and their individuals in each sites, they were divided into three major groups (A,B and C). Among them, group C (St. 4) showed the special inverse characteristics as a stagnant pond. unlike the river branch (group A) and anthropogenic disturbances receiving stream point (group B), Therefore, the ecosystem of Yeongwol Hanbando wetland is considered to very unique and these characteristics are not found in other stream ecosystems and it is confidently believed that the ecological value is very high.

  • What is 'nation' and 'nationalism?' What does 'korean nationalism' mean? And how is korean nationalism represented through a chain of films called 'the korean blockbuster films?' The purpose of this study is to answer to these questions. The characteristics of the korean blockbuster films have been studied for quite a long time and the researchers have agreed with the context about nationalism in a large sense. However, majority of the studies ends up in the journalistic or impressionistic criticism without any theoretical discussion. Few theoretical criticisms also have founded on the formation process of nation of the Western Europe and their nationalism. Hence I would like to add the discourse of korean nationalism and to seize more accurately the social/cultural/historical peculiarity of the korean blockbuster films. In addition, as non-nationalist narratives have recently emerged, korean blockbuster films are entering to the evolution process. On this, the significance of this study seems to exist in providing a cornerstone to the expected evolution theory of the korean blockbuster films by means of complementation and reestablishment of nationalism of their first generation. and , presenting socio-historical peculiarity of the Korean nation, are examined by the close textual analysis.

  • This study intended to identify causes of poor tree vigor in the Hanbando coastal forest by investigating its geographical environment, climate condition, soil physicochemical characteristics, and growth condition of Pinus thunbergii. It divided the forest into an area with poor tree vigor or dead standing trees and a control area with good tree vigor and examined them separately. The survey showed that stand density was significantly higher in the area with poor tree vigor. In contrast, the crown width in the area with good tree vigor was wider. The number of dead standing trees and the stand density showed a negative correlation. The stand density and diameter at breast height (DBH), tree height, crown height, and crown width also showed a negative correlation. The result indicated that, as the tree's stand density increases, the crowns of individual trees overlapped and the lower branches died. Then crown height and crown width decreased, and the number of leaves and photosynthesis was reduced, leading to lower tree height and weaker growth of breast diameter. As a result, tree vigor weakened, and combined with environmental pressures from the lack of moisture and nutrients in coastal soil and salty wind, P. thunbergii in coastal areas is expected to die massively. Although the causes of dead standing trees and poor tree vigor of P. thunbergii in the Hanbando coastal forest are complicated, poor management of adequate tree density in response to the growth of P. thunbergii is the primary cause. The secondary cause is external environmental pressures, including unfavorable soil conditions and salty and strong wind that obstruct the growth of P. thunbergii.

  • CG and Photo-realistic image composition in the ocean scenes is frequently used in movies and TV advertisement. But it is very difficult task because it's impossible to use calibration tool in outdoor environment or to use auto-calibration algorithm using natural features like KLT(Kanade Lucas Tomasi feature tracker) from the ocean scene. We propose a simple, effective method for solving camera motion using previous knowledge about background structure. We applied our method to the production of a commercial movie, 'Hanbando' and the result was satisfactory.
